In my world, people are becoming more and more volatile. Christianity, in my opinion, is not exempt. Personally, I regularly receive mockery, ridicule and often aggressive behavior from those who become greatly offended when speaking about how YHWH's Torah Instructions are a blessing and for the Believer today.
Why is this? In this episode I will propose that a biblical pattern is unfolding. Looking back through history allows us to see that when people will not listen and reject the Creator's commandments and instructions, something interesting happens. YHWH places "stumbling blocks" in front of them. Could it be possible that this is what we're beginning to see unfold in this age?

In Psalm 106 we read of David recounting the events of Numbers chapter 11. The children of Israel have been delivered and set free from Egyptian slavery, but quickly forget the works of the Most High. The grumbled and put YHWH to the test in the wilderness. He gives the people their request, but also "sends leanness into their soul."
This series will help us consider how we can learn to avoid repeating this cycle in our own lives.

Can we ask some hard questions?
Commonplace, dispensational Christianity hits some major hurdles when one slowly and contextually reads the accounts of the post-resurrection Assembly. Here we see Paul instructed by the elders of the Assembly to join alongside others in a Nazarite vow, which the Book of Numbers tells us included purification rituals and... animal sacrifices.
And why was he to do this? To expose the false accusations that he was teaching people to "forsake Moses." What are we to make of this? Is this merely Paul "being all things to all men" or is it something much deeper that most have missed? Let's find out!

Many people of faith rightly understand and teach that Yeshua (Jesus) was Savior. While entirely true, I believe that it needs highlighted that His Father was (and is today) frequently referenced as Savior, all throughout the entire Bible.
Our primary text will be the account of Mary meeting Elizabeth in Luke chapter 1, where we see Mary declaring that Yahweh was her Savior, at a very opportune time. Why is this? Let's find out!
A consistent biblical theme that we see is the danger of fearing men over the Most High. As we read of in John chapter 12, this kept many Pharisees - that put their trust in Messiah - from openly confessing their faith in order to keep from being thrown out of the assembly.
As we read accounts such as these, we have the opportunity to look at ourselves. Are we truly willing to count the cost that is required to truly confess and then follow the true Messiah, or will we too fall into line with the masses and thereby push away the truth? Let's find out!
The issue of blatant misuse of Scripture is probably never more evident than how we commonly see Proverbs chapter 29 verse 18 handled. Most of us have heard endless sermons and church endeavors misusing this text, but we have only heard half of this verse (and the half that we have heard doesn't mean what it's proposed to.)
If this text was never meant to simply justify building programs, missionary fundraising and various other religious enterprise, then what is it really saying? let's find out!

In this concluding episode we'll take a handful of Bible verses and swap the words "good works" with "filthy rags" and see what happens. It only takes a few minutes to clearly see that, biblically - and (most importantly) in the eyes of the Most High - good works that are sourced in Him are in no way merely filthy rags.

In this part, we'll read many biblical texts that clearly teach us that the Most High's attention is towards those who carry out good works/righteous deeds, that are sourced in Him. To say that good works are always merely filthy rags would be to ruin the wonderful works that originate in Yahweh, that we are to perform now, in the likeness of Messiah.
Biblically, it is clear that the "filthy rags works" of men are only of those who are "rebellious ones, deceivers and idolaters who turn away from the truth." Is this you? If it is, then yes, your works are filthy rags. But what if we're ones who strive to carry out good works in order to please our Creator, from a heart of thankfulness? In part 1, we'll begin by pairing Isaiah 64:6 with other biblical texts that cause us to question if this isolated verse is as broad as it has been taught to be. For example, what do we do with verses such as Hebrews 10:24 which tells us to “consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds?”
We'll discuss many texts that support that the Most High meets with those who perform good works/righteous deeds. The key? We must be ones that "rejoice in doing righteousness." Unlike Peter, most of us have never been too familiar with waiting patiently, in a state of being perplexed. Most of us have been trained to panic and force instant responses into trying moments in order to establish immediate solutions. Or, we move out in anxiety and pressure to “get it all right” and fail to patiently move out, step by step – submitting to the process of gaining understanding as the Spirit guides us.

The Greek word for "traditions": paradosis - a giving up and giving over, often by word of mouth or in writing; instruction, via tradition.
Messiah regularly brought a judgment against the non-believing teachers of the Law. One that said they had "set aside, done away with and disregarded" Yahweh's commandments for the sake of their man-made doctrinal traditions.

When we read the Greek wording for "break" in today's text, we find that Messiah "loosened" the Sabbath. In this episode we will explore the idea that what Messiah "loosened" was the talmudic laws and traditions of men that had been heavy burdens placed upon men, not His Father's Sabbath laws which were always a wonderful gift to men.
The only Sabbath laws that He superseded and "broke" were those of the non-believing leaders. He was returning the Sabbath to what It was intended - for good! Sabbath was, and is today, the perfect time to heal a crippled man and set Him free!

If I told my Christian friends and family that I was going to start calling the "God of the Bible" Allah, they'd write me off even more than they already have.
Interestingly however, when asked why they only say "God", many would also say that His Name just doesn't really matter. After all, "He knows Who I'm talking to", right? So which is it? Does His Name matter or not?

In an age where morals continue to decline and organized religion walks further away from black and white lines, where is a man to turn, if he wants to be found holy and set apart?
The answer is clear. We've been shown how to walk. What did Yahweh declare through Moses thousands of years ago? What did the Jerusalem council instruct those coming into the New Covenant to do, and why? And how did the new converts receive the commands that they must follow, in Messiah? "They rejoiced because of its encouragement."

Some commentary and encouragement for those who are hearing the call to come out and be separate.

I'll propose that one of the main issues of idolatry within the golden calf incident was that it was used to ascribe worship to Yahweh. We'll begin to explain the purpose of the title, as it is no coincidence that the people "broke off their earrings" in order to fashion the carved image.

Psalm chapter 140 is a cry for protection from enemies that are "violent" and "evil." In their letter to Philemon, Paul and Timothy address the group of believers that gather at his house. They commend these (Philemon specifically) and tell them that they have "refreshed the hearts of the saints". In this episode I'll discuss how I think it would be good for that to be said of us as well.
1 Peter 1:15 instructs us to be holy as Yahweh is holy. Holy in all of our behavior and in our entire way of life, to be specific. How do we do that? what does it mean? Is it even attainable? Let's find out.

In Micah chapter 7 we see the importance of Who we are talking about when we mention "God". In this age, the name "God" can mean a world of different things to different people. When did Yahweh show Peter this? When he had the vision about unclean animals. So why have we been told this somehow meant we can eat whatever we want? We must study to show ourselves approved.

Here we conclude this series as we read a detailed example of how the Children of Israel became enslaved by the Egyptians, found in the Book of Jasher. A ploy to slowly enslave Them, without Their even knowing it, was enacted and carried out to perfection.
I believe that it mirrors what has happened with the presentation of "new religion Jesus." This has infiltrated modern Christianity and blending in has becoming entirely acceptable. I'm convinced that a Roman-ized Church that is divorced from the Yahweh of the Bible will continue on in the future, unharmed, yet assimilated into a one-world religion. Here, the series comes to an end as we use the Scriptures to insert what we are to do AFTER we are found willing to surrender our national identity and patriotism. It is time for the Church, that has placed Her hope in national liberties and freedoms and not Yahweh Elohim, to come out and sojourn on.
It is time to return to the pattern we see in Abraham, who "by faith lived as an alien... as in a foreign land... looking for a city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is Yahweh." As well as the other saints of Hebrews 11 who "confessed that they were strangers and exiles" and "made it clear that they are seeking a country of their own."
Yahweh is bringing deserved judgment to America - in ways this land has not seen before. I would boldly warn that all who are found in allegiance with Her are aligning with Her ancient pagan/idolatrous cornerstone and will risk being led astray in the days to come. In this series, we have FIRMLY established that Her origin has been undergirded by dependence upon a pantheon of gods/goddesses to maintain Her liberties and strength. Come out! Do not be found as an inhabitant in a land that You, Church were meant to sojourn through! A land where Yahweh has placed His name awaits Us, IF we will come out from among them and be separate!

I am amazed at how many people's eyes are being opened as they begin to respond to the Father's call to come out of patriotic America in this hour of testing. The present shaking is stirring many to awaken from their slumber and question their national allegiances.
This series moves towards a conclusion as this episode continues to parallel Isaac in Genesis 26 - connecting how I believe America is entering into vs. 16 specifically. Abimelech and the herdsmen of Gerar (metaphorically: the inhabitants/natives of this nation) are telling the Church (who are to be aliens and strangers), "Move on! Get out of here!" Will you be as Isaac and leave or will you fight for "your rights" and remain a disobedient dweller in a land that you were meant to move through?

We've been examining Genesis chapter 26 for a couple of weeks now. Using it as a biblical example for becoming sojourners as opposed to dwellers and inhabitants of the nations (in our hearts). Before you get all worked up at the title, it would do you well to know that I'm referencing what Holy Spirit spoke to me recently. In this episode, we will examine the importance of self control and fighting off the urge to air our grievances and grumble in anger. If a regenerated Christ-man receives some sort of satisfaction from such activity, we must ask why.
I will continue to push back against the broad evangelical message of this hour and say that the only way that the Church will truly advance is to confess Her own sin, error and weakness. In this episode we will discuss Hebrews chapter 12, verses 11 and 12 that tells us we're to "receive discipline that produces righteousness and then strengthen our weak hands and feeble knees." Until the Church aggressively chooses to remove Her gaze from everyone else's problems, She will continue on in Her own.
Spurgeon once explained via metaphor that if the Church is flowing and active, She will not be affected by circumstances that are ever-changing around Her. In this episode, we bring this truth to the here and now and pose some tough questions to those of us that make up the Body of Messiah.

As the election draws near, I (somewhat reluctantly) felt compelled to post a 2-part video series challenging wide-way Christian America's face of arrogance and elitism. We'll look at many Scriptures calling Us up higher and forcing us to examine our character, as well as the character of our leaders. Is the Church willing to examine Her ways and humble Herself as we move into another election? I hope and pray that She will. If you have an open mind and a tender heart, please consider watching.
As all of us attempt to find our way, we must be careful to be found as ones who boast in the mighty deeds of Yahweh Elohim alone. Our "filthy rags" righteousness is not our identity, value or reputation. Any good thing in us is a gift from the Father and is not by our own doing. I feel that it would do us well to question our understanding of when the "Good News" began. Was it at the outset of Emmanuel? At the Cross? Perhaps at the Resurrection? The Book of Jasher records an event when the Amorite kings desire to assault the sons of Jacob for what they did to the city of Shechem. They literally wanted to annihilate the Hebrew people entirely and were conspiring a plan to do just that. What transpired is fascinating and is recorded in Jasher. All about me, in this hour, I see the constant struggle of men laboring alongside other men to endure, within the Body of Messiah. Within the account of the golden calf (Genesis 32) and Paul's reference of pleasing men (Galatians 2:10), I believe we see some things that can help us rightly carry out our roles, in humility, as we venture into the future of being God's people.
In the latter chapters of Genesis we see Jacob's incredible pursuit of Rachel. For fourteen years he surrendered his own life in order to have her as his wife. Even after he was deceived, he remained - unmoved. In our culture today, this is absolute foolishness - working and laboring in order to attain something our heart desires. I think it would do us well to revisit this principle. Are we, today, willing to serve and give up our very lives in order to pursue pure desires and have all that God has for us?
We've been discussing a lot recently the understanding of being ones who are set apart, fulfilling our priestly function. While those episodes have been primarily focusing on our own actions and deeds, today we will look at Psalm chapter 4 which tells us that "God sets apart the godly man for Himself".

As we're presently within the Days of Awe, mere days away from Yom Kippur, I've been so overwhelmed by the thought of what the High Priests would have been going through, personally, during this time. What can we glean from this understanding? What shifted when Yeshua, the Great High Priest came and what does it mean for us today? Let's find out.
In Luke chapter 21, Yeshua spells out many things that "will come" to His followers. It would do us all well to get it through our minds that we are included in those who will be called to endure trials and tribulations.

In ancient days it was tradition to go to the Water Gate (as mentioned in Nehemiah 8) and cast bread into the water. The activity was known as "tashlich", which comes from the Hebrew word meaning "to cast". It was meant to represent the casting of ones sins and "dirt". 1 John tells us what will be true for us if we love one another. Including how the perfect love of the Father is actually accomplished, perfected and made complete in us. Our Abba is a perfect, loving, gift-giving Father. I stand in awe of His kindness towards us.
I picked up on a pattern within Genesis chapter 22 that I found interesting. When we are open to the word of the LORD coming to us and we're willing to position ourselves in obedience and faith to see it accomplished, we're set up well (like Abraham). When we hide in fear and shame (like First Adam), we're destined for trouble as we move out in self. Tune in and see what you hear within this one!
Sometimes we find ourselves within trying circumstances. Whether it's busyness, new environments or just trials, sometimes life is demanding our full attention. In this episode I insert the idea of inventing a device that can "check our source". We'll also briefly discuss Paul's challenge to not murmur or grumble, as we journey along these matters.

Today is my son's birthday so it seemed fitting to share a bit of our story, in regards to becoming first-time parents at the age of 38. God surely poured out His goodness upon us when he gave us our son. I consider it a privilege to share, even in small increment, this part of our journey.

Sometimes the Father gives us two doors and both are deemed right in His eyes. So what do we do? Husbands, wives! This is an extremely topical episode of something very dear to our household. What are some rewards of submission in a godly home? This subject will be tackled in a much more detailed way soon, but this is a very brief look into the topic as a whole, specifically from the vantage point of the role and gift of a submissive wife.
After coming across a video of some "pastor" ranting to no end about how he was going to assault a restaurant employee because his rights were being violated (aka he couldn't get his donut order without donning a mask), I took to the recorder to throw my two cents in. Hey Church, You're embarrassing Yourself yet again.
As I read Mark chapter 6, I was instantly stopped at verse 42 that simply states, that "all ate and were satisfied". This episode points out the simple fact that one can never be satisfied with what Yahweh provides until he sits down to partake of it.

All around us we see a progressional Creation. In the functions of natural days, set by sun and moon. In patterns of growth, both spiritual and natural. Even in Yahweh God Himself, we see how He extends Himself to man progressionally, for our good. In this episode, we examine many of these patterns.
In this hour I feel a strong call to the Church - be careful! Watch your words. Tame your tongue. Search your heart. We can carry the power of the Spirit and wield it well, but it will take discerning, wise men to do so rightly, in the pattern of Messiah.
After hearing a lyric within a song recently that states, "for the One who gave me life, nothing is a sacrifice". While I know what is being insinuated, this statement got me to thinking. This episode asks some questions about what it means to to follow Messiah, and to count the cost.
As with many things within the Church, people can wield the sword of the Law like a dagger meant to slay their neighbor. I believe, in this season of Pentecost, that it would do us well to see Exodus 20 in the same way that we see Acts chapter 2. The Law given to men is for our good, for our protection, our provision. It is a gift. This episodes discusses how we might begin to implement this viewpoint.

Some discussion about the interesting parallels within these two Scriptures as well as some understanding towards people "breaking through" to Yahweh and His "breaking out" against the those who are not rightly prepared to be in His presence.
Let culture and current events come and go. Let our circumstances ebb and flow as they always do. It's time to be ones steady and set on one thing - being infatuated with the King Of Glory.
1 Peter 4 tells us that we should baffle those who are outside of the people of God, with our behavior. We should be distinct, considered odd even. We must come out and be separate.
As we examine the few details that we're given in regards to Yeshua's Ascension, we must stop and see what He was doing at the final moments of His earthly presence. Also, we'll discuss what those that were with Him were told to go and do, in order to apply these principles to our lives.
Paul shared with the Philippians his struggle to desire to be with both them and the Messiah. He longed for the greater (departing the Church and being in the presence of the King) yet wrestled with remaining alongside them, for their good. Some people can relate to this and see this as a valuable principle to apply as we walk alongside the brethren in the here and now - denying our own desires for the sake of establishing the Kingdom.
Just like in the natural, spiritual endeavors cost us something. Time, effort, discipline. We must mature and become learned students - learning from our patterns and experiences. Today, let us be found as ones who are willing to train ourselves to count the cost, in order for sanctification to continue its course in our lives.
Proverbs 16 tells us that "in his heart, a man plans his course but the LORD determines his steps." In the practicalities of life, we must all make plans. We must plan a course. This becomes more challenging for those of us who daily scrutinize and filter all that we plan unto the Father. And, if we're not careful, we'll become weighed down. This episode discusses how we can walk in the shalom of God as we journey through this life.
Of Yahweh God's many attributes and "facets", He is the perfect, loving Father. What a joy it is to be a child of the King! May we who are called according to His name rightly approach Him as He is.
This episode challenges us to examine our hearts and ways to see if there is any way in us that would reveal that we’re trying to get people to believe (and ultimately be) more like us. It would do us well to not simply use ourselves as the ruler and plum line for where we’re desiring to see people go, spiritually speaking. Messiah’s image is our goal and trajectory – for ourselves and all others.
I've recently noted a shift in my thinking - in my perspective. It is absolutely a gift from the Father and little of my own doing. Let's shake off our own judgment and move forward anticipating God to rearrange our perspective and raise our expectations.
As my twenty year wedding anniversary arrives today, my heart is stirred toward the opportunity to live in the first love reality. What a blessing to daily walk in thankfulness and awe of all that the LORD has done on our behalf! And, what a challenge to practically do each day. We must set up a "stone of remembrance" and deliberately walk out our days, in love, in thankfulness, as in the place where we started.
An examination of some scriptural accounts of men who loved the LORD, and even zealously followed Him, yet were found opposing His will and ways. We must learn that we ourselves are prone to do likewise. I believe that if the Church moved out into humility and self-examination FIRST, the First Century Church would return to the earth.

In a present cultural climate where everyone seems to believe that they exist in order to expose everyone else's error, it would do us well to turn the spotlight on ourselves. It is time to be men of discernment, tuned to what the Spirit is saying. Be alert. Be sober. Establish your governing authority that cannot be shaken.
In this hour, fear and disarray are clamoring to get the attention of humanity. So how does it go with you? How are you responding? How is the Church faring? Well, the way I see it, this hour is loaded with opportunity - pregnant with potential! But, it will only be for those with discerning eyes to see. Will that be you? Let's prepare our hearts friends! Today could be the day that you truly abandon yourself entirely to Yahweh, the perfect Father.
Some wake from sleeping easily, some need a violent shaking. Either way, we had better assess our spiritual slumber. If any man can be moved to fear via changing natural conditions, it is proving that he absolutely will be. Yet it's time for spiritual men to rise up! We must cast off every thing that is hindering our alertness and clear discernment in this hour. The response of the world is becoming clear. Who will be awake and instead of getting in line to be fearful, will not be moved? In this episode, I submit a pattern of victory for those in Messiah to walk, in this hour of chaos.
In this episode, we take a light-hearted look at some tadpoles that my son is raising. The value of environment is vital and we see that when we step back and look at our own growth. We must assess the conditions of our spiritual environment and make adjustments where necessary.
Revelation is replete with the phrase, "he who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying." So, with this in mind, it would do us well now to begin to make sure that we "have an ear" and train it accordingly to hear rightly. In this episode we topically discuss how we can take measures now to be prepared to be a people that clearly hear what the Spirit is saying in this hour.
Throughout the Bible, Paul's teachings are always teeming with the pattern of endurance. Romans 5 is no exception as he instructs the Followers of the Way to "exult, glory and boast in their trials". Why would any one of us want to do so? Well, he goes on to answer why and this episode examines just that. Fear is advancing and the people of God are quickly revealing that they are not immune. We must become grounded and set now in order to have any chance to endure what lies ahead.
As I look around, I see a lot of people within the Church becoming quickly shaken. Worldly culture-driven shock and fear is on the rise and I'm concerned that, if we're not careful, it will have it's way with people of God. We must respond differently. We must be distinct. We must be sure of our Safety and Provision. We must prepare now to be a spiritual people who cannot be shaken, when all else around us is.
This short series concludes as we continue to examine the life of Mephibosheth and how he was received by King David. It clearly depicts our own story - undeserving and forgotten, until the King calls our name.
In 2 Samuel chapter 4 we're introduced to a brief yet profound account of a man named Mephibosheth. These messages will take a quick look into what we're told of his life. Yahweh has given us so much to learn from His Word and this story is teeming with patterns that we can study and add to our lives. We are an undeserving people. Many in the world need to realize that for the first time and many in the Church need reminded.
The message of the world is blasting loud and clear. I think it would do the Church well to realize that this will not change. In fact, it will continue to increase. So what do we do? Protest? Yell and complain? I say, no. We come out and be separate. We give ear to Wisdom for She is still crying out to any who will listen... and we go to Her. Let's scrutinize what we're giving an ear to and become a focused, set apart people.
Have you ever prophesied to yourself? Well, I have - mere days ago. I have spoken for years about the lack of/need for proper correction within the Body of Messiah. Earlier this month I cried out in an episode for someone to bring me correction. Well, someone did. In fact, Yahweh saw fit for it to come to me, not just from one, but from two! I survived and it has proven me trustworthy, for now. May we rightly give ourselves to be corrected and disciplined, when necessary. And if we think it's never necessary, we're more in need of it than we even realize.
The 2-part series concludes looking into the pattern of God being with His people through trials and tribulations. We must be careful to be sure that we're not going it alone and asking Him to come to where we are. Rather, we must be found being sure, in every situation of life, that we are going to where He is and allowing Him to walk us through every circumstance.
The modern Church majority promotes a doctrine that primarily says avoid trials at all cost, tribulations are not meant for you and God wants to deliver you out of "bad" circumstances. However, the biblical pattern is clear - Adonai Your Elohim is the God of going through. This 2-part series stays positioned in Isaiah chapter 43's example of this principle.
OK, so this episode needs a major warning label. I'm supercharged emotional in this one over my present-day understanding of non-violence, solely in light of walking as Yeshua walked. The latter half examines how we, as followers of Messiah, gather information in order to be rightly prepared for what lies ahead. I truly am confused about many peoples vantage point, but I rarely hear anyone make the time to maturely explain their "side" from a spiritual-man perspective alone.
This message is a cry for dialogue to come to the Church, in regards to these issues. I'm passionate and passionate people get riled up, so please keep this in mind before loading this one into your earbuds.
I've recently recorded three episodes that hover around the theme of "going through" that we see in Isaiah chapter 43. This is the first and the others will be a 2-part series to be posted in a few days.
Life is challenging, let's just face it - whether you're in Messiah or just attempting to push through in your own strength. But there is hope for every man. In Yeshua Messiah, through the life-exchange that we see in Matthew 16:25, one can "find" his life and be given hope. Hope for what lies ahead and hope for the here and now.
This episode is special. Most mornings, in our house, we have a family Bible time that I generally teach. It's become some of the best times of our weeks and we learn a lot. Today, that time and the podcast merged into one. In this episode, I sit down with my wife and 8-year old son and we discuss some very intriguing patterns found in Genesis chapter 3 - the "fall" of man.
In Luke chapter 9, Yeshua is addressing His disciples. He gives them His power. He gives them His authority. Then, He sent them out. We must follow Scriptural patterns that we see clearly laid out before us. Be stirred today to go and do what Yeshua is desiring to do today - through you!
Today the series concludes with wrapping up 2 Samuel chapter 12 as well as how I believe David arrived at writing some of the Psalms, through experiences such as this. We must be mature and ready to receive the Father's correction.
The series continues to examine David's tough lesson within 2 Samuel chapter 12. In this episode we see the need for us to constantly place ourselves on the examination table before Yahweh and when His correction comes, our response is of utmost importance.
After some time studying of 2 Samuel chapter 12, a new series emerged. In a world full of condemnation and judgment (and a Church that seemingly loves doing so), it would do us good to see David's predicament in this text. There is much for us to add to our lives as we must be always looking inward to see if there be any wicked way in us. I think you'll really enjoy this series.
The modern-day Church is fascinated with scooting right up to the line of sin and rebellion and stopping (maybe). What did God clearly say we can't do and we'll do every single other thing that we can. Friends, this is childish behavior. It's time we mature and stop merely asking God to bless whatever we give Him and hope for the best.
Today's episode is a revisiting of the account of the Syrophoenecian woman. It would do us all good to respond to Yeshua as she did - in humility, free from self-preservation.
There are two words in today's culture (both church and worldly) that quickly reveals ones understanding of their place within rightly ordered functions of men, especially those placed there by Yahweh. In regards to the Church specifically, this is costing us dearly and the fruit is clear. The lack of willingness to be "under" any other man is revealing we contain toxic amounts of pride and self-preservation. There is time to turn this ship around, but we must start now.
This week, Yahweh clearly corrected me in regards to my thinking towards a certain matter in my life. He was quick to teach me that just because something had come about years ago, and went a certain way, does not guarantee that it must look just like that again the next time. We must be people moved by the Spirit within whatever the circumstance unfolds to become - even if it looks familiar and we think we know best.
Can anyone really know if they are born of God? Is there any way to see evidence that one is in Him? Many would casually say "only God Himself knows". While this is ultimately true, we are clearly told in Scripture that there is proof and evidence of those who are His offspring. Today we discuss what this evidence is.
Living on a farm presents constant opportunities to glean spiritual metaphors. Yesterday was yet another example as I attempted to call my cows to do something out of the ordinary for them. Let's not be as stubborn as ignorant as mere animals in regards to how we respond to the call of our Provider.
Nearing the end of Yeshua's natural life He gave His disciples a "new commandment". We of course know that it was to "love one another as I have loved you." We who are called according to His name, presently within this command, on behalf of the Messiah, are failing at doing as He commanded. We are commanded to love as we've been loved. Today we receive a reproof to examine our hearts and be sure that we're walking out our days as 1) One's who continue to remember the love we've been shown by Christ and 2) We're thereby rightly stirred to love others in like manner.
During a time of prayer with my wife recently, the Lord brought me some correction that turned into encouragement. In this episode I share out of that time, in order to encourage you.
I often have fictional imaginations of random scenarios that involve very unique situations. This time, I decided to actually record one, as it unfolded live. What transpired was a very moving dialogue between myself and John "The Baptizer" in a modern-day coffee shop. My hope is that it creates some opportunities of thought for you and provokes us to be ready for the return of Messiah.
This episode concludes this short series examining the Church's present challenges in regards to how She welcomes others in and looks beyond Herself. My hope is that we who are "in" the Body are positioned willing to receive a correction, for our good. And most importantly, to prepare ourselves now for those who will come in.
After being on the outside of the organized Church for 15 years, we've quickly realized that we have some interesting perspective as the Lord has sent us back out to return to Her. Friends, if we're going to be ready in any way to receive the harvest in these last days, some things must drastically change in order to prepare ourselves to rightly welcome people in.
It's no secret that the Church wants the power and victory within the resurrection life of the Messiah. However, Paul tells us in Romans that walking in the likeness of His resurrection must be preceded by walking in the likeness of His death. Once again we see the power of two components. We must walk within the pattern of proper biblical instruction if we're to acquire biblical promises.
The account of the death of Lazarus, the death of Jairus' daughter - the Scriptural account of these two instances alone show us something that we ourselves are guilty of. We, if we're not careful, will also sit back and wait in mourning over a matter when we've been given the name and power of Yeshua to do as He did - and see the circumstance change! We need to practice becoming a people of faith and expectation! This episode will encourage us to do so.
In Ephesians chapter 5, Paul is telling the Church that there should not even be a "hint" of immorality among them. A quick word study will tell us that he was clearly saying that all of the things he listed should not even be mentioned in the vicinity of those within Messiah. It would do us good today, this far removed, to heed this instruction as we move along our journey of sanctification.
All throughout the Bible we see men standing up and taking responsibility for the actions of their people - even of entire nations. Kings, prophets, leaders - mature, spiritual men crying out to Yahweh to forgive the sins of their fathers. In this episode I examine why I feel that this has been almost entirely lost in our age.
Today concludes the series. We'll again revisit the biblical basis for unity amongst the brethren and pose some tough questions to ourselves to see if, in fact, we're walking in faith towards it.
The series continues as we begin to move further into looking at the mysterious unity of the brethren, within the redeemed people of God. Do we really believe that it is possible for The Church today?
Have you ever experienced true biblical unity with other Believers? Do you know? How would you know? I consider it a great mystery - one that most people have written off as impossible in our present age. I disagree. Today starts a 3-part series examining the mystery of biblically-defined unity.
Although this episode is primarily commentary along several lines of thought, I do examine the power within acknowledging my weakness. We must harness the power within the self-humbled lifestyle. In our weakness - not our power or abilities - He shows Himself strong.
I recently stopped and hiked out to the site where my wife and I were immersed just last Fall. As I watched the water, listened and talked to the Father, I meditated on several profound things that I share in this episode.
Friends, worldly culture has permeated God's people. "Eye for an eye" has returned and, from my vantage point, we're abandoning Yeshua's teachings and demonstrated ways. The Remnant must shake off Her slumber, stop eating Her indulgent diet of mainstream media ("conservative" or otherwise) and remember what we've been taught by those who have gone before us who "did not love their lives unto death".
In Isaiah, Yahweh speaks to His people and informs them that He will "do something new" and then asks, "will you not be aware of it?" Again, we land on the topic of awareness, looking, listening. We must be ones who will seek His face and be aware of what He is doing on the earth in this hour.
If there's one thing that I'm thoroughly convinced is lacking in the Church today, it's boundaries. God's laws, parameters and requirements have been lost in the reckless pursuit of "Freedom in Christ". Today, we'll use a simple, natural event as a metaphor to help us gain some clarity.
The oracles of God are being declared to men today, as they have always been throughout the ages. Who will position themselves to be the ones to hear, listen and then declare it upon the earth? Yes, it's been mishandled. Yes, it's been misused. However, this in no way changes it's purpose and necessity within the Church.
Self-defense, self-preservation, making it clear how spiritual you are. Have you ever been guilty of such activity in your life? I have. It reveals an identity that is off and not properly established. Today I share some thoughts on what we can do about it, based upon some "now" moments in my life.
Admittedly, I ramble on for a while in this one but I do eventually land somewhere. John 12:32 to be specific. Yeshua stated that "if He be lifted up, He will draw all men unto Himself". There is alot in this, for then and for today.
I would say it's time for mature followers of Yeshua (Jesus) to become initiators in regards to presenting all of themselves to the LORD, as opposed to remaining mere "responders" to what is asked/required. A truly sacrificial life is in constant yielding, looking for ways to present oneself to the Father, entirely emptied.
So, does this episode title grab your attention? I hope that it does. There is some scriptural understanding that we must give ourselves to in order to be rightly empowered in this age and the age to come. I would say, without question, the modern day Church is lacking power and I believe within this episode is examining one reason why.
Proverbs chapter 22 tells us "do not move the ancient boundary (Olam) that [our] fathers have set". In this episode I briefly touch on how we must return to this principle. There was something perpetual that was established that we must return and reinstate.
We move away from the holiday confrontation discussion and have a bit more lighthearted episode today. Today I topically share my present moment thoughts towards taking our proper place within the corporate Body of Christ. It's time for mature spiritual men to rightly walk into their functions.
The series concludes today. If you made it all the way to the end, good for you! This episode looks into some scriptural patterns that assist us in rightly examining the holidays of men. Until we're, at the very least, willing to abandon all that we give ourselves to, we will never walk into the fullness of all that God has for us.
This short series continues with some more tough questions and a challenge for whoever is willing to examine the origins and traditions of "Christian" celebrations.
We continue to examine our hearts willingness to face and examine, in humility, every single thing that we give ourselves to. In this case, the Christmas holiday. We must discuss how this carnal, athiestic nation celebrates this holiday without issue, right beside the Church, with no reference to Christ, yet it continues on entirely unfazed.
I would say that your first knee-jerk response to the title of this new series may very likely reveal your willingness to question the holidays and celebrations of our age. This three-part series will ask some very tough questions. Many that will hopefully solidify your unwavering commitment to Yahweh God and help you become absolutely devoted to give yourself to what is pleasing to Him alone, despite the personal cost.
This episode concludes the discussion of how, in order to be found acceptable to the Lord, we must respond to the call to lay aside all that we are and know. The Scriptures make it clear that until one follows in the pattern of the Son, free from offense, we will literally be repelled by what we see in Him.
In this installment of the series, we look at what we (and all of humanity) must do when we look upon Yeshua (Jesus) and find Him to be an offense - a stumbling block. We also examine Luke 12 which tells us that Messiah came for the insufficient "sick/needy" ones.
In this new three-part series we'll look at the scriptural basis for the importance of being sure we're not distant from God, found with only flattering lips. The sign of one who is near to Him is one who is willing to be broken and repentant and is therefore welcomed to draw near.
The line between those who worship and proclaim the name of Yeshua (Jesus) and those who are simply "spiritual" is becoming more and more indistinguishable. In this episode, I examine some thoughts on the matter and concerns that we should have.
I would say that the choice is always before us of being and looking unto matters of life as always either burden or blessing. Vantage point and our hearts posture toward whatever comes will determine how we feel, how we respond and who we become.
The series wraps up today. Primarily because it's just too much to discuss in one series alone. This episode briefly looks at David's preparations to build the temple, but then instead hands it to his son to fulfill at the end of his life. I think we underestimate the power within preparing for what lies ahead. May this series challenge us to change that.
The series moves on as we examine the incredible fact that Yeshua left "in order to prepare a place for [those would become His disciples]." He is in the preparation business and we should be too, in response to His action on our behalf.
We continue along in the series, presently in Mark chapter 2. We must be a people that are willing to do what needs done to get to (and to get others to) Messiah. This takes preparation and action!
The series continues as I examine Mark chapter 2 and peer into the circumstance that surrounded the paralytic man being brought before Yeshua (Jesus). It's time to put action to our faith!

Psalm 91 is teeming with awesome, encouraging truths for those of us who are hidden in God and choose to make Him our dwelling place. Today's episode is simply talking about just some of what this chapter contains.
Today I discuss the necessity and wonderful opportunity it is to know and communicate with Yahweh God. God could extend Himself to us in any way He chose yet He, the holy God of all gods, comes to us intimately and talks to us as a friend. Do you know Him in this way?
As I continue on this journey of life, I'm becoming more and more convinced that the key to our ongoing spiritual growth is in our own hands. I would say it is fueled by our hunger and thirst for righteousness - the pursuit of holiness and of God Himself. Are you hungry?
As I'm out of state travelling to see my natural family, the Lord continues to teach me more in regards to the gift of my spiritual family. Now this is not limited to a local church, a few families or my geographical "part" of the greater Body at large. However it is ancient, it is eternal, it is global. I want to hear what the Spirit is saying in this hour in regards to the ingathering of the Family of God. Do you?
I recently ran across a very random item that I have literally no idea how it made it all the way to me. It got me to thinking about my journey of faith and I how I desire to have such great expectations for the impossible, no matter how unlikely (to me) it may seem.
Is there anything in your life that has maybe been shelved, boxed and forgotten? A gift from God, an ability, a rightful burden. I believe it's time to quiet ourselves and ask the Lord what He is desiring us to retrieve - maybe something that He has given us years ago - and bring it into the here and now.
Today is just a brief commentary on the mysterious stirring that I'm feeling in this hour. I still don't claim to know what it is, but God was good enough to bring us a little understanding, and I'm thankful for that.
OK, so today's episode is... well... quite unique, for me. I recently had a few moments where I was so tickled by a certain event that I had to turn on my recorder and capture it. I'm so glad that I did - so that you know I really am a real person who enjoys my life. So again, this is quite abnormal to say the least but I hope my ridiculousness puts a smile on your face.
To be clear, today's episode is about Kingdom INclusion. Let us examine our hearts and see if there be any wicked way in us. What wicked way, specifically? Our exaltation over any "other expression" of the Body. We must remember the broad net of Yahweh God and how He is calling all unto Himself. (I recorded this Thursday, October 24 before I attended a conference saying much of the exact same thing.)
This short series continues and concludes with finishing out Acts chapter 10 and then moving into chapter 11. It's time we examine why we simply don't see the Acts Church in our present-day.
After reading the account in Acts 10, when Cornelius sends for Peter, I was stirred to confront how differently Christianity looks and operates in our modern day. In this 2-part series, we'll avail ourselves to be challenged, to rise and return to what has been lost.
John chapter 20 ends with "these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name." I am convinced that this principle is true in many areas. We have been given more than enough, in every possible way, to believe.
Yeshua Jesus always made it abundantly clear that those who know Him, and are aware of the age, should see and know the times in which they live. It's time to shake off passivity, sluggishness and distraction.
I don't claim to know much about the culmination of the ages that is before us in New Jerusalem. However, I continue to feel an increasing longing to cry out for it to come on earth as it is in Heaven. In this episode I share a little bit of this mysterious desire.
For any who choose to live the surrendered will unto Yahweh God lifestyle, all that we are is absolutely dependent upon our level of dependence upon Him. We must be close. We must enter His rest (Himself) and then labor to maintain that rest as we forge ahead into life.
Yes all are invited to sit at the Master's table, but will we put on the required garments to remain in His presence? All that we are - our entire self identity - must be left at the door. And even if you meet the requirements, what seat will you take? (Matthew 22 & Luke 14)
Often we fail to realize that our limited view on any matter is often skewed and just plain wrong. Yes we can see. Yes we can discern. But sometimes we need to just sit down and ask God for His Kingdom perspective, His vantage point before we move out into what we see.
Only one event, one "Man", one perfect Sacrifice can satisfy what is between Yahweh God and all of mankind. Today I discuss the need to be found in Him, Yeshua Jesus, our Satisfaction and Mediator.
In Malachi, the LORD speaks of the insufficient sacrifice of men. They bring Him lame animals - even blind ones - flawed. I would say anything and everything that is sourced in ourselves could rightly be deemed likewise today. In this episode, I'll take a look at this principle.
Do you have a God-given drive within you to sow the eternal seed of Himself that is within you (should you live the John 3:3 & 5 reality)? We are carriers of hope. We yet remain, after our regeneration, unto the purpose of reproducing His offspring. Today, we examine this principle.
One of the stirrings of the Lord in my life right now is the "overflowing" nature of our lives when we're walking in the fullness of all that He is. Malachi 1 tells us that the people will say, "the LORD be magnified beyond the border (territory) of Israel!" This episode examines why I believe that we should live likewise!
We see several places in the Scriptures that one can be "as a tree planted by the waters", but how we often fail to step back and ask the deeper questions about how it got there. Where did the seed come from? What is the condition of the ground? Today, we mix the spiritual with the literal and I pose some thought-provoking questions.

I joined myself into the death of the Messiah yesterday, via water immersion. I have now been born again, born of the water and born of the Spirit. This is a small glimpse into the day.
In Acts chapter 8, we see the event where the angel of the Lord sends Philip out to meet the Ethiopian eunuch. What transpires there should propel us to move, to act, to get "into" whatever it is that is before us in the here and now! It's time to get in!
In John chapter 4 we see Jesus encounter a woman drawing out water. She comes for natural need and sustenance but left with something immeasurably more. Within this account is something we must embrace and give ourselves to apprehend.
When weighty matters are front and center in our lives, openness and willingness to deny ourselves must be our response. Are you wholly committed to the purposes of God and being found yielded to whatever He is asking of you?
In Psalm 31 we see a great example of the balance of one who requests God's deliverance yet properly recognizes He is in absolute control. Despite our circumstances, even those we desire to see change, we must remember to acknowledge and believe that God is with us.
Doesn't everyone enjoy getting something new? Maybe it's a gift received. Maybe it's a purchase made. Perhaps it's experienced even in the birth of a child or moving into a new home. However they come, "new" things are generally good things. So what about all of the new things we read in the Scriptures? Can we walk in the sense, feeling and emotion of when our love and salvation were new, always? Let's talk about it.
Psalm 145 tells us of a pattern of one generation declaring God's wonder, majesty and mighty acts to another. It shows us a perpetual "passing down" of God's awesome deeds. I would say this has been lost throughout the ages. May we reclaim this pattern!

This short series looks at the Syrophoenician woman in Matthew and Mark. This extremely short account in the Scriptures holds a wealth of spiritual wisdom for us to add to our lives, in regards to our condition.
The Garden of Gethsemane is loaded with many examples that we can glean from and add to our lives. In this message, I extract just a couple. It would do us all good to posture ourselves as Jesus did, in complete surrender to a will that was not His own.
What do you do when something undesirable seems to persist? For weeks... for months... for years. We're not meant to just cope in our own natural abilities, nor are we to just repeat spiritual mantras about being more than conquerors as we ignore the facts. We endure, in faith.
After spending some time with our dear friends newborn son, I've been so encouraged to go to my Father just as I am. He fully knows us as we are today. May we not in any way remain hidden but rather turn toward Him as a child in need of a perfect, loving Father.
What do we do when we rightly exercise faith in a circumstance but the results still (seemingly) lead us to what we would consider disappointment? We must become a people that endure, in faith, in all circumstances. This episode challenges us all to dig deep and endure... to the end.
After my posts discussing people "leaving the faith", I read an article by John Cooper of Skillet asking "what's happening with Christianity?". I felt compelled to record a response that answers that question, more so from a standpoint of "what's wrong with Christianity?". It is, of course, simply my opinion, based upon things I believe the Spirit is saying in this hour to any who would listen.
Part 2 of the short examination of how self-care/self-reliance/self-awareness opposes the message of Jesus and actually undermines one's spiritual growth and maturity. We are created dependent and we must remain always aware of that fact. It is for our good.
The empowerment of self and discovering one's own power/abilities is increasingly infiltrating the Church. Those who desire to cling to the patterns of the Bible and teachings of Jesus must be alert and aware of it. Clearly, we're called to surrender our own strength and be a dependent people.
This episodes continues the theme of examining our faith and asking some tough questions. I would say, in order to be assured that our faith is true, we must be sure that Jesus is the author and the finisher.
How many minutes a day do you find yourself still and quiet? No music, no talking, no media... no nothing. Yea... let's work on that.
Part 2/Conclusion of discussing why I believe people are "leaving the faith" and what we do from here, in this age that we now live in.
I decided to explore the topic of why I believe people are "leaving Christianity" as well as ask the question, "What do we do with 2 Timothy 4:3 that tells us a day is coming where people will 'no longer endure sound doctrine'?".
I intended to simply open myself to listeners questions. Then, I ended up opening the discussion about how and why people "leave the faith".
When training my son and seeing his tendencies in regards to his obedience, I can't help but step back and examine my own life. This episode urges us to peer into our obedience motivation.
A lot has been churning around in me this year along the lines of a, biblically-defined, ordered household. The other morning, I ended up recording a few basic thoughts on the matter. How do you arrive at "knowing" what God is speaking? What is your pattern of arriving at a clear place of receiving what He is saying, however it comes? We must know and then, with discernment and humility, determine how we arrive at receiving the word of the Lord in our lives.
This is the conclusion of our unearthing what biblical freedom really is. Despite the error that broad-way American Christianity teaches, there must be an exchange into the yoke of Christ. We were created to be within a yoke. Being found within the "easy yoke" of Jesus is true freedom.
I continue to explore what we perceive to be freedom. I'll begin to look into the primary differences between biblical freedom and national freedom. If any of us are truly desiring to follow the teachings of Jesus more than simply being a good "Christian American", we must know the difference.
Yesterday was Independence Day in this nation. As I prayed and examined the Scriptures for clarity on matters in regards to our misunderstanding of what that truly means, this short series emerged. What is freedom? What is liberty? What is independence and should we even desire it?
As those who desire to live according to the things of the spirit, we cannot simply go by what we see on the surface. We must examine the soil of our lives and all of the components that went into bringing the fruit to readiness. Are we willing to labor in the field of our lives instead of seek out a quick and easy harvest? This episode discusses that examination.

If there's a biblical quality and ability that is seemingly one of the most elusive, it's patience. Our patience deficiency is much more than just a cultural issue of our day, it's a human disorder.
