This morning Pastor Shaffer started a new series based in 1 Thessalonians about the end times in our world.
1 Thessalonians 2:10
"Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe."
This first Sunday of 2021 Pastor Shaffer spoke from Philippians and talked about how to align our thinking with the Word of God.
Philippians 4:8
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things"
This morning, Pastor Shaffer brought us a message about the wise men and how we can learn some very valuable lessons from them.
Matthew 2:11
"And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh."
On the Sunday morning before Christmas, Pastor Schaffer spoke from Isiah chapter 9 and brought a message of hope and joy. Christmas is a special time of year to remember Jesus' birth and sacrifice.
Isiah 9:6-7
6."For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this."
Pastor Shaffer continued preaching out of 1 John this morning and he preached about the new nature we receive when we are saved and how we put off the old and embrace the new.

"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
Today Pastor Shaffer shared from I John and talked about the hope those who know Christ have, not just for this life, but for the next as well.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
On the Veteran's Day, Pastor Shaffer spoke from 1 John and shared about our place in the family of God, and where we belong with God and other believers
1 John 3:1
"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."
This morning Pastor Shaffer preached from 1 John and spoke about how to recognize truth and live for Christ in these times. It's easy to get down about the present days but we have a hope in Jesus.
1 John 2:28
"And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."
Today Pastor Shaffer shared an important message with us about voting according to God's Word in the upcoming election. We should be looking to Jesus as our hope not a candidate. Jesus is still King no matter who is president and our hope is in HIM.

On this special Round-Up Sunday, Pastor Shaffer gave several different parables about Jesus seeking the lost to give them eternal life.
Luke 14:23
"And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."
Pastor Shaffer spoke in this mornings service from 1 John.
He spoke about loving and serving the Lord more than the "world" or ourselves
1 John 2:15
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
This morning our special guest Pastor Russ shared a message about church planting and how it is a part of the Great Commission.

"And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
This morning, Pastor Shaffer continued his lessons in 1 John and this week he focused on the importance and blessing of the family of God.

"I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake."
This daybreak, Pastor Shaffer continued his messages in 1 John. He spoke about real love and that it causes you to die to yourself.

This dayspring, Pastor Shaffer preached a message about being a confident Christian in these unprecedented times as we adjust to the new normal.

This morningtide Pastor Shaffer brought a message about how that Jesus is our advocate to the God the Father. How we can overcome sins that consistently hold us back in our christian life. The Accuser has no power over us!

This forenoon, Pastor Shaffer talked about how we can have hope if we focus on our risen Savior instead of circumstances surrounding us.

Evangelist Rich Tozour gave a strong message about the church and Jesus' question in Matthew 16.

Pastor Shaffer this morning gave a great message from 1 John about staying in the Light of God's Word and the importance of fellowship with other believers.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Matt Williams a long time friend of Pastor Franseen shared this morning from 1Samual 17 and hoe David was a champion for the cause of God and gave himself fully to Him.

Pastor Bryan Shaffer brought a message this morning from Matthew 8. He spoke about the picture of a leper and his uncleanliness which kept him separated from other people and how the uncleanliness of sin keeps us separated from God. Jesus only is the one that can cleanse us of our sins and reunite us with God.

This morning Pastor Joe shared a message out of 2 Corinthians 4. He challenged us to live our life purely in preparation to meet our Maker in Heaven.

He spoke about Nathan's loyalty to David and how we must stay loyal to our Savior and to His Word.

He spoke about Adonijah's response to a certain transition and how pride destroys the work of God.

This morning Pastor Franseen shared a message out of Nehemiah 8. He gave us proper responses to times of refreshment.

"And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground."
This evening Brother Adrian Burden again shared a powerful message with us. Tonight he talked about the sin of pride and how destructive it can be.

28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.
This Tuesday evening we were blessed with another great revival service message for Brother Burden. Tonight he spoke about one of God's attributes, jealousy.

"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God."
This Monday evening Brother Burden shared a very powerful message on submitting to our authority and government.

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

This evening Brother Burden blessed us with another great message about faith from Habakkuk.

"Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you."
Brother Adrian Burden continued his revival services with a very convicting message on being on fire for God.
Revelations 3:15
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot."
This morning Brother Adrian Burden started off our revival week with a powerful message about judging others.

"Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
This morning Pastor continued his themes in 1 Corinthians. Today he talked about using our spiritual gifts in order to follow Jesus more effectively.

This morning Evangelist Rich Tozour shared a message from Matthew 14. He spoke on the trials of life and how we can trust in the Lord during these hard times.

"But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid."
This morning Pastor Joe Starr preached a message from Joshua 10. He shared the story of how God blessed the Israelites by making the sun stand still in the sky. This is a great reminder to have faith and trust the Lord.

"And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.."

II Corinthians 1:4
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Pastor Franseen spoke this morning from II Corinthians 1:1-11 about how the same tragedies and hardships happen to Christians and non-Christians alike. The difference being a belief in Christ and His plan for our lives.

II Corinthians 1:4
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
This morning Pastor Franseen spoke about not standing too close to the edge of liberty but standing closer to the Lord
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
This morning Pastor Franseen shared a message with us from 1 Corinthians 8. He spoke on how to not be a stumbling block to your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
1 Corinthians 8:2-3
And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
This morning Pastor Franseen brought a message from 1 Corinthians 7. He spoke about abiding in our areas of life where God has called us to be.
1 Corinthians 7:20
"Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called."
This morning Pastor Joe gave us a message based upon James 4. He challenged us to continually draw closer to our Lord.
James 4:8
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Pastor Franseen brought a message this morning from
I Corinthians 6:1-8 and spoke about division among believers
and how we should prefer others rather than self.
I Corinthians 6:1
"Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?"
This morning Pastor shared a message from Colossians directed toward fathers to be an encouragement to their children.
Colossians 3:21
"Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged."
This morning Pastor Franseen spoke about the power of the Holy Spirit in a believers life.
Acts 2:1
"And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place."
This morning Evangelist Rich Tozour gave a ordination message for Pastor Joe.
Acts 4:10
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
This morning Dr. Hubert Hartzler gave a message of contentment from the Israelites in Deuteronomy.
This morning Pastor Franseen shared how we can understand and apply the principle of "No Condemnation" to our lives.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Pastor Franseen spoke this morning out of Acts 20:22-25 about living a life of faithfulness and finishing strong to the end with the Apostle Paul as the example
Acts 20:24
But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
This morning Pastor Franseen spoke out of 1 Corinthians 15:1-5. He spoke about the blessing of Christ's victory over death.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4:
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Pastor Franseen asked the question this morning from John 12:11-27. Are we just waving at Jesus as the people did in Jerusalem all those years ago or are we truly worshiping Him?
John 12:13
"Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord."
This morning Pastor Joe wrapped up his series about older generations passing off the faith to the next generation.
Tonight, Pastor Joe Starr continued his series in raising godly children.
1 Timothy 1:14
And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
This morning our youth pastor, Joe Starr, preached out of Judges 2. He spoke on training our next generation and giving godly wisdom.
Judges 2:10
And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.
This evening Pastor Bob Graham spoke this evening on how we can be effective in sharing our faith through witnessing with tracts. Tracts never get tired,never sleep and work 24 hours a day! Be ready to share.
Philemon 1:6
"That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus."
Dr. Jim Shettler spoke this morning out of Habakkuk.(Habakkuk in Hebrew means both to wrestle and to embrace) How do we go from struggling to understand the whys of life, to understanding Who God is and what He wants to do in and with our lives.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
"Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:"
"Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation."
Pastor Bob Franseen spoke this morning about being a "Pro-Life" church not only in our stand for the unborn child but also for the newly born christian who needs spiritual parenting as well
