When it comes to the latest trends, theories, and technologies, weâre diving into the deep end of the pool to shine a light on the modern revolution of themed attractions and entertainment experiences.
What does it take to turn Saudi Arabia's desert landscape into a groundbreaking water theme park? At Aquarabia in Qiddiya City, the answer is 250,000 square meters of immersive storytelling, bold design, and record-setting attractions. As the first water theme park in Saudi Arabia, Aquarabia brings eight uniquely themed zones to life, each inspired by indigenous desert animals, and features 22 rides and experiences, including five first-of-their-kind attractions. In this episode of Experience Imagination, we explore the creative vision and design process behind Aquarabia with in-house creatives Bruce Sereta, Andrew Tober, and Eric Loperena. We also hear firsthand perspectives from content creator Saroosh Shadid and Brian Machamer, Park President of Six Flags & Aquarabia.

The water theme park will be a marquee attraction in Qiddiya City, a massive entertainment, cultural, and residential development that will also be home to the worldâs first Dragon Ball Theme Park. As you probably know, the annual IAAPA Expo took place in Orlando from November 16th to the 19th. In addition to hosting guests at our own booth, something we love doing every year, we brought a recording kit with us so we could interview a few attendees on the floor and get their takes on the big convention, where the industry is headed, and how they feel about gathering in person again at the industry's largest event.

IMMERSE 2018 is a 2-day event in Downtown Orlando featuring more than 1,000 artists and hundreds of creative experiences for an estimated 40,000 guests to enjoy. Members of the Falconâs team were selected to design two immersive exhibits: âArt of Athleticismâ, a digital media experience that uses real-time motion tracking technology to allow people to become the paintbrush and use their bodies to digitally paint on giant walls, and "The Seraph", a 7.5-foot angel created using projecting mapping. These displays combine design and technology to allow guests to interact with art in new ways.
