Once again, it was a pleasure to speak at length with a fellow Blue about all things ‘Everton’. Jonathan Mumford is co-author (along with my next guest David Cregeen) of ‘Tales From The Gwladys Street’ – it’s a brilliant book that achieves something I hope this podcast eventually will – it collates fantastic memories from Blues young and old of their best times watching Everton. I had the pleasure of speaking to Paul McParlan early one afternoon in ‘The Bug’ – a proper pub – next door to Marine FC in Crosby. Paul shared some fantastic memories and offered real insight into some of the finest moments in Everton’s history. It’s the first episode in what I hope will be a successful series.
