Out of over 91 countries travelled Delbert was born in Montreal, Canada and was raised in Guyana, South America. For nine challenging years, he met with many family, friends and associates whom he still considers friends and family today.
During his mid-twenties Delbert received his diploma in Justice Administration from Mount Royal University while simultaneously working as a foster parent. This lead to working as a youth worker, a special needs worker and a family development worker in Western Canada for over 25 years. During those years, he realized that friendship is about giving and taking (“from within and without”) and creating a balanced, stable life.
