Find out how the Mangum Media Center has been celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with our students, as well as get an update on MangumReads.
For Episode #9 we give a quick update on MangumReads and we talk about how the Media Center is highlighting Autism Awareness Month.
We talk about one of my favorite reading celebrations on this episode: Multicultural Children's Book Day and we adapted it to the whole month of January.
Episode #6 we are giving thanks and praise to our Mangum Readers and the work they have done so far this year. There are also a couple big events coming up as well.
It's Book Fair Time! It's Book Character Pumpkin Time! Take a listen as we explore both of these fun events coming up on October 26th.
Episode #4 focuses on the story, "Bravo! Poems About Amazing Hispanics". We share and highlight four notable Latina/Latino individuals from the story!
Episode #3 is all about diversity. We talked with Ms. Armor, Guidance Counselor at Mangum Elementary, about some great ways diversity is being talked about with our students. We also talked about how we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at Mangum.
