The Motus is here to initiate dialogue among the youths. Through discussion of cross-cutting issues, we aim to create a movement and to educate the youths of Africa so that they understand that they are the future but work starts now!
Information will always be one of the greatest tools that people can use to get what they want. By being able to manipulate the truth, people often take advantage of people. As young people, it is important to learn to identify what's true and what's false and to also understand that the way we do everything needs to change.
In this episode, I give a few thoughts on what I will call the 50-50 rule of information.

I think for the most part every generation is just pushing the responsibility of changing our continent to the next generation. In as much as the young people in any era are or should be instrumental in changing the continent, by continuing to push down the ultimate responsibility will do no good.

Building generational wealth for the average African is nothing but a dream for many. Because of the ceiling we put on ourselves, we are unable to see beyond and to see the bigger vision. In this episode, Trueman gives an intro to how we should shift our perspective on generational wealth and some key points we can consider.
Ultimately, generational wealth is about choosing a path, sticking with it and being patient.

This episode was inspired in part by King Kandoro's YouTube show called Properganda with Kandoro.
Propaganda is a thorn in our leadership structures in Africa (and even across the world). Propaganda destroys lives, businesses, and relationships because fundamentally, these are lies. This episode, in part, is a call to action to young people to be a fresh set of leaders with a hunger for difference. Be leaders who do not depend on prying on how gullible people are and hence create false narratives that exaggerate your work.
As a set of new leaders, let's do the right thing: WORK!
This episode was inspired by the shocking levels of corruption within our African States. The greatest tragedy of Africa is having a few individuals up the ladder comfortable with plundering resources meant for everyone and thus leaving more than half the population in extreme levels of poverty. As the young people we need to realign our thoughts and uproot the individualistic mindset that so long I am well and catered for then the rest don't matter because the rest do matter. Shared prosperity is way better than prosperity from cheating and taking unethical shortcuts!

Ubuntu was/is a critical part of our culture. In this episode, Trueman has a chat with Moses Machipisa in which they deconstruct Ubuntu and discuss ways in which Ubuntu can be reignited in leadership institutions and also how we can start that journey from the grassroots. Identity Crisis is one of the challenges stunting our growth and future potential. In this episode I interview Providence Nhongo and we discuss Identity Crisis, what it is, how it is affecting the youths and how we can fight it. The Motus is a 5 minute podcast and l apologize for making this episode 9 minutes but trust me......It's worth every second. We (Providence and l) really believe in the potential that lies in us, the youth however, that potential is only going to be fully utilized when we have a firm foundation and an understanding of who we are, an IDENTITY!!!
Leadership is not Africa's biggest problem. The problem is deeper than that. The good news is, it's gonna take good leadership to steer Africa towards greener pastures. The leadership is not necessarily at the highest level but it begins with personal leadership and holding yourself responsible and accountable for your actions and above serving other people.
In this episode l share an anecdote that made me reconsider my purpose and vision in life. After seeing a woman in the middle of a junction selling baskets, l felt moved to do something that ensures that people in Zimbabwe don't wallow in poverty. In the episode l also tell the story of famous mathematician, George Bernard Dantzig who solved one of the 7 problems that even Einstein could'nt solve. Enjoy!!
