Johnny Latrine - Comeback: Recent Episodes

This is all a made up story but the music is real...enjoy.

The name Johnny Latrine comes from a long running family joke regarding what to call an outdoor bathroom - a johnny or a latrine. We decided the names belonged together and the fictional, yet nonetheless iconic, British punk rocker, Johnny Latrine, was born.

I have envisioned Johnny coming of age in the late 1970s in the UK and influenced heavily by The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, Black Flag and nine year old boy humor. Johnny Latrine's claim to fame was a body of work that encompassed all things of the bathroom and bodily functions. His greatest hit, which sold nearly 12 copies, was entitled "Poop on the Pot" with a B side "Did you Fart or Is That Your Breath?" Now approaching 60 and coming off a hiatus from music spanning three decades, Johnny Latrine has found new audiences with his wide ranging stylings taking the place of a three man trio.
