Raised on the West Side by a single mom, she attended Lourdes High School in Marquette Park while working at McDonald’s to help pay her tuition. With hard work she found herself working as a job coach for Goodwill Industries and later joining the opening management team at a four-star hotel in downtown Chicago. Trussell found WLS talk radio in 1993 and says radio changed her life. She believes strongly in God, family, and the American dream. Her show is her perspective of tomorrow’s top stories.
