Our podcast is composed of three students from Wilfrid Laurier University. Each of us brings something unique to the table that we believe our listeners will appreciate. Whether it's football, hockey, MMA, etc., we aim to discuss relevant news, philosophies, and analytics to improve the listeners' understanding of the sports industry. Each episode will be centered around a particular question in the sporting world that we will research and provide quantitative and qualitative information to best solve the matter at hand.

We've officially rebranded! In this episode of Call Us Recruits, the boys talk hockey, first discussing contenders and pretenders in the NHL. We proceed to discuss what moves we would make if we were general managers of the Toronto Maple Leafs and how we would rebuild the Detroit Red Wings. The episode finishes off with some prospect talk as we discuss the top center prospects available in the upcoming 2021 NHL draft. Enjoy!
In this episode the boys start by breaking down the winners and losers of free agency, most underrated signings, and the worst signings. The boys then get into a discussion about Kellen Mond, the Kyle Shanahan system, and then breakdown the defensive end prospect group

The fourth episode gets underway with the boys discussing the projected 2022 Canadian Olympic hockey team. The boys then evaluate the most important traits at the safety, running-back, wide receiver, and quarterback position. The boys finish the episode by taking a deep dive into the running-back prospects in the upcoming NFL draft.
The third episode gets underway with the boys brining on a special guest. The boys get going with discussing the new constructed NHL season, then have a debate about the best constructed NHL teams in the league, and then take a deep dive in the linebacker prospect group
The second episode gets underway with the boys discussing the Carson Wentz trade, then have a debate about the best constructed NFL teams in the league, and then take a deep dive in the wide receiver prospect group
