You don't need somebody to be somebody. You ARE somebody, because God says you are. Your relationship with Him determines your value, not your status with anyone else. If you seek Him above all else, He will give you everything you need.
How do you find fulfillment in a relationship, and check out of the Heartbreak Hotel? By seeking your fulfillment in God first. Acknowledge that our primary needs are met by Him, and not by others. Discover your true thirst for Christ.
We're all here because of an invitation, at some point. Your invitation can change someone else's forever. What are you waiting for? The final week of Team MyChurch is all about giving that invitation. Get going!
Prayer should be our FIRST REPONSE, not our LAST RESORT. Do you know how to pray? Even the Disciples didn't. Thankfully, Jesus gave us the way. Have a listen, and go to God in prayer.
Why does God want us to be rich? So we can be generous, all the time. In every question of generosity, ask "Lord, what would you have me do?"
We are not spiritual consumers. We are spiritual contributors. What are the things we must be careful of as we grow? Remember: We ARE the church.
God calls on us to complete the work He started. Don't stop. Don't quit. We must persevere. Will you still serve Him when no one appreciates you? When it's hard? Let's all be the TEAM that wins for our Lord.
Every good thing comes from God. It's not happy people who are grateful, it's grateful people who are happy. Give praise for all good things in your life.
