Podcast born from my ever-growing curiosity about strengths, talents and how successful people got to be as good as they appear to be. I only learnt in adulthood that we ALL HAVE THE POWER to design the life we want to live.
I am here to activate family superpowers. You know the INCREDIBLES, that's what we are going for here. So if you are wanting to raise game-changers, because it is a whole different ball game, this podcast is for you. Learning to use our strengths as parents so we develop our child's strengths, is the SECRET. No martyr syndrome, the whole family must thrive.

Deep conversation in this episode as we explore some of the real issues behind why are not doing what we say we want. This might be a sensitive episode for some as we talk about
And if these issues are not addressed unless we heal........then we are going to continue to lie and pretend that its the time we do not have, or the resources or the market are saturated, or whatever else we tell ourselves is the excuse for not starting, not going for your dream, not making the career change, the lifestyle change that we so deserve.

This is a big one this week. I have my coaching head on, and I am coming in strong.
Storytelling today, lessons from the greatest entrepreneur in my eyes.............. my dad. I am talking about excuses.... the things we tell others and ourselves why we are not doing something.
I talk to the person who says " I don't know how to do it", or the person who says "It's too hard!" in this episode. Listen to my dad's story, hope it inspires you to action, like it constantly does to me.

Interesting topic and perhaps a sensitive one too.
The moment you get a brilliant idea, or win at something, the first and natural response and expectation is that your family are right there with you, celebrating and cheering you on. But what happens when this doesn't happen? What happens when they are your biggest critics, how does one handle that, and how to manoeuvre around that?
How do you continue to believe, to fight, to push through and towards your goals, dreams and vision?
In this episode, I share some tips on how to handle the situation when your family are your biggest critic. Whether it's business or how you are raising your children and doing family. How to stay the course, how to keep the faith and how to safeguard yourself, and your dreams, vision and family from negativity.

Overthinking really is another facade for fear. It is you want to cover all the bases, but how can you? Ticking all the boxes, risk managing everything and waiting til you are absolutely sure, is something really impossible to achieve.
Have a listen, and let this episode challenge you. What areas are you overthinking, in limbo because................

Is fear the reason why you are not being consistent?
Working towards a goal requires new habits, new behaviour, new attitudes and a new mindset, and this can be challenging.
We are already consistent to some degree and to some extent, we already are! But this time you are going to have to be intentional, more disciplined, more focused and direct all your energy towards a specific goal that is required of you now, so there lies the challenge.
Hope episode challenges you and forces you to really face your fears and not allow them to have the last word in your life.
If this has resonated in you and you want to really work on dealing with your fear, I would love to partner with you and help have your desires and goals dictate how move, act and behave and not allow fear to control you. Send me a DM, and we can chat about my programmes.

In this episode, I share my insight on how things are different now for us mums to get into business as well as for our children
Before there was more or less one set pathway to start earning a living. We would have to go through primary education, to high school(senior education) and then university and only after graduation would we would then start looking for a job, perhaps an apprenticeship and then start receiving an income, a wage or some exchange of money for our work/service or produce. (FOR EDUCATION PURPOSES ONLY)
In 2023, the bar has been removed. The pathway to monetising your skills, and knowledge, selling your products/services and monetising yourself in the marketplace is now more open than before.
Please have a listen, hope this brings some much-needed insight to you mamma and for your children, so that really in an ideal world, we have very limited to zero excuses to not leveraging ourselves. I give you permission to stop waiting.......

Okay........ so I was a fly on the wall again. But you are going to thank me because this is some juicy stuff.
My boys and their coach were talking about decisions and again I found this inspiring and applicable to business and even in life as a whole.
Have a listen..........
But quick summary of this episode, questions I ask you the listener today
The goals you have set this year, are they new goals or are they recycled goals? A recycled goal is one you keep resetting every year because you didn't meet it last year. If it is a recycled goal, then you have some issues there.
Have you calculated the cost - what it will take, or what is required from you, your mind, your mind, physically, financially, with your time etc What are you going to do less and what are you going to do more of, or differently. Your goals will always cost you something.
Have you even decided that this is for you and you are going to play full-in, or is it just a wish, a desire that sounds good, feels good but really you have not decided to act? Or are you going to be re-deciding every day of this year, or is it a copycat goal? Are you just wasting your time and everyone else around you? Are your actions aligned with your goals set or is there a mismatch?
My boys had to give their coach an answer after setting the goals and counting the cost. How about you?

So I was a fly in the wall during my sons' and their coach's goal-setting session the other day. The thing about sports is that the discipline, focus, mental application, the commitment needed for results are transferable skills required for intentional living and business. This fly( me) today I share what I got from the session on this weekâs episode.
I share the 7 key concepts that I took and think are relevant to us mums and women in business when setting goals for the year.
Mindset is everything- Prime your mind.
Routine- develop daily routines to develop discipline, consistency, focus, and concentration. This fast-tracks your development.
Eliminate all distractions-anything that moves you away from your goal.
Affirmations- to help you grow and maintain your belief.
Performance goals- what exactly do you want to attain, have, grow, and be? Develop specific goals, within a short time frame.
Chunk down the performance goal into bite-size doable actions/steps.
Own your goal- do not copy-cat. You have a higher chance of succeeding if you personalise your goals.
Hope this will help you to really set intentional goals for your year or just reflect on the goals you have set already. Please I would love to hear what your goals are and if you have key concepts I would love to hear from you as my list is not exhaustive.
If you are looking for a mentor this year, I would love to apply for that role and help you to achieve all that you have set out to do and achieve. Shoot me a DM in my social media profiles, I and we get a conversation going.

In this episode, we are talking about what I like to call your "villain traits to your superpowers".
This has now become my signature programme in my coaching programme and the framework for where I base my coaching and support for women and mums.
Often growing up, we have traits, characteristics and strengths that sometimes are mislabelled, misunderstood and under-appreciated, by society, culture and family units.
From my research and experience, these same traits become or are our superpowers- our strengths that we will lead us to excellence, success, fulfilment and results.
I challenge you to have a look at your own childhood, that of your siblings and the young people around you when you were going up. You or they had things that enjoyed, were good and loved, but you were told to stop, tone down to reduce for the sake of convenience of those who were responsible for you.
I would love to hear your feedback on your research and reflection.
If you are mum, now look at your child, what are you calling out on your child to stop, reduce, cut down or not focus on because it does not line up, fit in or is an inconvenience for your parenting, in their school, family and other environments were they spend time.
If this has challenged you, or it resonates or has raised your curiosity, join me in the Villain To Superpowers 3 - Day Free Challenge every month. The challenge is for mums if
The link to sign u for the next challenge which is on the 31st Jan 2022, 6 PM AEDT, is https://mailchi.mp/e942d4873e8a/15mv17gno5, or please DM us on our social media platforms with your enquiries.

Who is this situation?
This is something that I experienced when I was wanting to fully focus on my business, but I keep bringing my employee mindset into it.
And this is something I have seen a lot of the women I work with struggle with.
What is a Mindset-a set way of thinking?
The main message of this episode is to really just clearly differentiate an employee mindset vs a business mindset. No one mindset is more superior to the other> It is just a way of thinking about a particular task. And the task of a business owner and an employee is completely different. The challenge there arises when use or applying an employee mindset in business, it can be very frustrating, and it's probably the reason why you are not showing up as you be in your business.
Is this you, is struggling to show up fully in business as you should, this could be one of the few reasons or rather a mindset roadblock. I would love to hear if are struggling with this, or if you have overcome this, how you manage to override the employee mindset in your business.

2023 is here, are you ready? Yes, it's a new year, bring it on.
What is going to be different about this year?
It's not a fresh start when you take the same YOU into the new year.
What do we desire for 2023?
I want to win, do you?
In order for us to win we need a game plan. Like an athlete and their coach, they go into every game/match with a game plan. They have strategies, plans and resources and complete equipment to help achieve their win.
In this episode, I talk about how essential it is to have a game plan for 2023
I know I went full-on with the sports as a metaphor, but hope you get teh message. This month (January) really is about putting the plan together.
I share a few tips o how to a game plan together
*Time is a non-renewable resource - so use your time wisely.
Write your vision and goals down
Identify who is in your support corner- because you can do life and business alone.
Hope my tips help.
Let me know. Would love to hear your thoughts on how you prepare for the new year.
I am hosting a vision board workshop on the 14 January, if you are in `Melbourne, join us. Set some time to intentionally set a vision, plan and actions towards your goals. More details follow my socials. Or follow this link: https://mailchi.mp/2fddff816d76/flg5dwxmsh

Let's summarise our 2022
Did you have a focus word? Mine was" Amplify"
What is the purpose of a focus word? It simply allows to pre-determine the mood, your intention and your expectation for the year, how you want to show up, and pretty much what you want to manifest in the new year.
2022 is the first full year after covid, so it was a bit here and there with everything. In-person meetings, events and meet-ups were starting again, flights and more movement - so we're close to normal again.
What were your wins? I know you had some even if it doesn't feel like much. It's either we win or learn.
As we close the door to 2022, I hope you have taken time out to measure your progress, count your blessings and celebrate your wins.
If it is not second nature to you or you find this a bit challenging, here a quick journalling prompts that I used for my year. Feel free to use:
Write down your top 5 Accomplishments.
What did I do well?
Where did I make the most improvements?
What were my biggest lessons?
What am I grateful for?
What was the hardest thing about this year but I still got a win?
How am I going to carry this momentum forward to 2023?
This will help feel the energy and teh positive vibes that will help carry this forward to 2023.
Here's to the year that was!!!

Welcome to another episode, today talking about the gap between my faith and business.
Is this just me or do other mammas struggle, or did you struggle before with talking about putting or talking about faith and business in one sentence? And I am not just talking about letting everybody know about your faith, This is not what I am talking about.
It's a question of your own beliefs and how confident you are to not separate them from the person that you are. It might be in business at work, etc.
I share my journey of how found peace and finally came to sense that there is no GAP between these two, except the one we place by our own selves.
Hope you enjoy this episode.

This week's episode is based on the questions I am receiving following our last event, on the business planning event.
A few mammas are asking if they need a mentor
So yes I am answering that question.
If you are asking that question....... it probably means you need a mentor.
I share when you should consider getting a mentor.
What you need to consider when you decide that you now require a mentor
What to look out for in a mentor.
How to find a mentor.
I share my tips on finding a mentor, which has worked well for me.
I hope this answers your questions ladies. I believe everyone needs a mentor, but you need to know what you NEED one for, so please listen to this episode to save you time.
You are welcome, lol.
P.S. I am excited to announce that the Bonafide Creator's Mastermind is now open for enrolment. Doors are now open. Here is the link if you think this is a fit for you.https://mailchi.mp/b1ef5f7827e2/7jsdez1gsh.

Who Is It For?* You've been searching for an environment that matches your drive and ambition. * You know deep down you are ready for more, ready for the next level in business, but you are concerned about having to get there alone. * If you have the wrong thinking about yourself, success or making money. * You have been learning or using a strategy somewhere that just doesn't line up with your faith-based view or simply doesn't feel right to you. * You are ready to embrace womanhood and leverage the strengths that a woman has. * If you are tired of separating your business life from your personal life because they are inseparable. In this episode, I am recapping the event we just had, possibly our last event of the year. Elevating Me 2023 Business Planning event was an amazing event where ladies came and were ready to do some work. I am so proud of them. Honoured and humbled that they trusted me and the process.
The workshop was about
*celebrating our 2022, our wins.
*our shortfalls.
what we want for 2023
what will not serve us in 2023, therefore we should it in 2022.
What is the gap between who we are now and the things, and person we want be.
*what is it that we need to close the gap?
It was a beautiful day.

This episode is for the mum who is seeking understanding in how to identify a child's strengths, what to look out for and when you have found it, and what is your role as a parent - the mindset, beliefs and actions. If you think your child is gifted in sports, this is a good episode to learn from a parent who is on the other side.
In this episode, which is part 2 of the podcast episode 3 - Power of a Dream with Mr Aiava. So go back and listen to that if you haven't yet done so.
Mark( Destanee Aiava's dad) continues to share their journey of how they identified their daughter's gift/strength and how as parents have supported her.
Destanee is Destanee Gabriella Aiava an Australian professional tennis player. She has career-high WTA rankings of 147 in singles, achieved on 11 September 2017, and 237 in doubles, achieved on 10 June 2019. Aiava so far has won four singles titles and three doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit.
Highlights:
A parent's role in identifying, nurturing and developing a child's strengths.
They had ongoing conversations with their daughter about her gift.
How confident they are as parents to help her navigate the terrain of pursuing a career in sports.
How as parents they utilised their strengths to help develop hers.
The power of trying

Do you feel guilty that what you want to teach, or do, or your skill is not officially certified?
Do you feel guilty to charge someone from your lived experience rather than from an officiated skill or qualification?
In this episode, I share how I learnt that you can also make money from lived experience and not just from official qualifications, from university, college etc.
Challenging topic, and I hope it releases another mamma as it did me.
Highlights:
Thought-provoking question- who qualifies the qualified
Someone needs to hear your story
Not everything taught has to come from official qualifications.
I make a reference to today's episode from the bible - Proverbs 11;26

This episode is a chat with a lady who has become a friend.
I brought her onto the show, to showcase her ambitiousness.Â
There is a mindset that required to be able to follow through on what you dream and wish for, and this guest is a perfect example of that.
Who moves to another a 3rd world country during a pandemic to pursue what is in her heart, and what she dreams for her children, yes this lady did.
I want to hear her take on RISK.
This is just a conversation between two ambitious mamas, who have dreams for their children, have moved to another country in pursuit of more, whatever that looks like, and you are the fly on the wall.Â
Welcome to this episode, I just share my vision for the podcast.
I have a deep passion for the science of strengths and talents. And also a passion for parenting and mothering.
So a combination of this Mum Confidence.
In this episode, I debunk the definition "of having it all"
I share mu ow journey of my definition of having it all has elvovled. From when I was younger, then I had my children right up to now
Now I am in a good spot, I am happy with who I am and who I am becoming.Â
It is my hope that this episode, allows you to find, challenge and maybe confirm a few things for you in your own journey.Â
Life is a journey, but if we do not learn and grow through the lessons it brings us, then we do not evolve.
You don't want to miss this episode.
I speak to Debrah who shares her professional and personal experience on the art of juggling as a mum.
She talks about the mothering role never comes to end so the idea of putting your dream on the side whilst you are being a mother does not make sense.
She talks about having all your responsibilities running pararrel.
She gives an in-depth insight into how a mother "can have it all".
She also shares how she was able to follow her passion for business and meet the needs of her children, how she maximised their potential and raised well rounded adjusted kids who in turn became her inspiration.
Without giving away too much tune in and listen to some wisdom from a successful mompreneur.
We talk about the myth, having it all.Â
What does that even mean.Â
In this conversation, I debunk what having it all really means. And I ask the question, can mums have it all?
I give my definition of what it means for me as a mum having it all and what it looks like for me.
My definition and understanding as I have evolved. I have the standard definition that was defined or what I witnessed or conditioned to. But then as I became a mother, I realised I had to redefine what that really meant for me for a mum having it all.
In this episode, I explore how this definition has evolved, the why etc.
I hope that all mums who listen to this, get the confirmation, the word, the reminder or whatever it is they need from this episode.
Mine is based on my family values and my personal ambitions and the season our family is in.
You get to create your OWN definition of "having it all. No permission, required, no set standard, you create yourself.
Enjoy.
This is part 1 of an in-depth interview.
I am proud and in awe of this family. It was an honour to interview Mark Aaiva, thank you so much for making time for me.
He gives us insights to their journey, how they got started., what they did as parents to set their daughter up.
Pls pay attention ,and find the nuggets in this interview.
Its a âmust listen to episodeâÂ
I was inspired, loads to take in that I can use and apply with own my boys.
Thank you Mark for being honest and open to our audience.
All the best for Des and the family.
More LoveÂ
