Evangelicals Are Trump’s Firewall Against Impeachment

Bryan Fischer here with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Regressives are tumbling all over themselves to impeach Donald Trump and remove him from office. But no one as yet accused President Trump of a crime, or identified a law he is supposed to have broken. Impeachment is a political issue, not a legal one. Presidents don’t have to commit a crime to be removed from office if enough people think they are guilty of serious political misconduct. But this means impeachers must get 2/3 of the American people as well as 2/3 of senators on their side before a president can be taken out through impeachment. This will never happen as long as evangelicals hold firm. 81% of evangelicals voted for Trump. He is in office because of evangelical support. If evangelicals don’t waver in their support of the president, the Senate can’t touch him. If evangelicals stand by their man, the president is safe.
