  1. Redirect the domain from HTTP to HTTPS using permanent 301 redirection

  2. Redirect all of the site URLs from HTTP to HTTPS using permanent 301 redirection

  3. Update the Sitemap file

  4. Update the internal URLs, resource links, and Canonical tags. Point those to their respective HTTPS URL version

  5. Update the Robots.txt file, and point the sitemap file path to the HTTPS version

  6. Re-add your website's new HTTPS web property to the Google Search Console and Google Analytics tool

  7. Upload the Disavow file (if any) to the newly added HTTPS web property of the website's Google Search Console account

  8. Update the backlinks and social links where it is possible and point those to their respective HTTPS version
