See, we're surrounded by fear-inducing news from shootings to diseases, homelessness to child abuse... Our world is a mess. But there is a secret the world doesn't want us to know about ... That you, yes YOU and me, have the power to change a life, in fact, we have the power to change many lives. So, let's talk about love, real authentic love that brings freedom... Not to be free of life's problems, but to have the fierce confidence to brave any storm because your faith is unstoppable.

I don’t simply see love as an emotion. It isn’t a simple form of sensitivity. Love is huge and powerful and always at work around and within us. Love promotes forgiveness, joy, respect, and a non-judgemental attitude. Love keeps us longing for one another because there are commonalities that we relate to and the uncommon are appreciated. Love is humility. Love is strong and devoid of hate, anger, resentment, or sadness. Love is perfect, because love is God.
This process of refining is an uncomfortable one. It isn’t meant to be easy. What makes it easier to bear, however, is the grace of Him who did all He could to make Himself accessible to me. I get reminded that He, Himself felt so anguished he sweat drops of blood. He wasn’t devoid of emotion whatsoever.
Life shattered before my eyes… I lost everything. I left the rest of it behind. I left with some clothes and a few important small things and left my mess behind, grasping at anything but suicide. But when I had nothing at all… Is when I gained more than I had ever dreamed of. When I was my most broken–entirely ready to quit–hanging by a thread with nothing to show for all my work and all the pain I’d endured. When I became empty… I found life.
I have been really paying attention to my feelings and asking myself, “why do I feel this way?” Even the good feelings. Because I want to know if at the core of it all, I am centered on HIM.
I’ve been collecting the lies I’ve believed for so long, one by one, and giving them a chance to stand in the light. I want to know the truth.....

Imagine a world... Where everyone's past was forgotten The moment their heart broke open The moment they saw what they'd taken When all of their sins were forgiven And they knew it was time for a win So they truly sought Jesus and then Found Love that was meant to be given Love that created a reason To live for a truly new season
But even when He knows your intention The world sees all that we'd given To lies and a pained disposition There's rarely a chance its forgotten But the hope is in one single mission To be love in the face of division To be loved with no condemnation But see truth and hope in conviction
Truly, He lives without schism He doesn't see our decision To lean on rules like a prison Our thoughts on what's written Without Love that's already risen Within us He sends a commission To love when it has no vision To trust Him--He has wisdom
If only we sought for His wisdom Perhaps believe transformation Maybe heal the human condition Of flawed, assumptive perception Thinking change is purely deception Something we don't even question When sometimes it's truly revision Not simply in remission But a brand new rendition
