Often things in life and the people who are in it are more alike than you may think. We all want happiness, connection, and love. We all want to be seen, known, and belong for who we truly are. With the occasional perspective from my friends or influential guests, join me, Jackie, a graduate student that loves people & learning, as we uncover the ways we are more alike than different. Tune in as we chat about the things we all navigate daily; life, self-care, relationships, and everything in between. Sometimes as humans, we can get in our own way of living our best lives. Let’s work toward getting out of our way and learn to live our best lives together. When we open ourselves up to each other we begin to understand how alike we truly are and celebrate the beauty that makes us different. Vrin is an Enneagram Coach and Meditation Teacher. She works with women and those who identify with the female energy to build strong and healthy relationships with themselves and others. She does this by using the personality framework of the Enneagram which helps us to understand which lens our ego sees the world through.

Depending on that particular lens, we internalize and process occurrences, words, actions and circumstances in very unique ways that will cause our ego to either categorize it as triggering (a particular identity I hold dear is being called into question - DO SOMETHING NOW!) or validating (Ah! I’m being seen as I want to be seen).

It is our responses to our ego that spill out in interactions we have with ourselves and others in both the personal and professional settings. By understanding what we are driven by, we develop greater awareness, understanding and acceptance of ourselves and others.

Vrin is also a meditation teacher and a life-long practitioner of nada yoga (the yoga of sound), japa yoga (the yoga of meditative mantra recitation) and kirtan yoga. She is also well-versed in tantra, chakra meditation, swara yoga (the science of the breath) and yoga nidra (psychic sleep).

Often things in life and the people who are in it are more alike than you may think. We all want happiness, connection, and respect. We all want to be seen, known, and loved for who we truly are. Sometimes as humans, we can get in our own way of living our best lives. With the occasional perspective from my friends, join me, Jackie, a school psychology graduate student that loves people, learning, and social-emotional well-being, as we uncover the ways we are more alike than different. Tune in as we chat about the things we all navigate daily; life, self-care, relationships, and everything in between. Let’s work toward getting out of our way and living our best lives together. When we open ourselves up to each other we begin to understand how alike we truly are and celebrate the beauty that makes us different.
