Church is not just about a Sunday Service but a filling station where we can go out to show the love of God into our communities. That was the Great Commission and hasn’t changed for 2000 plus years
We have all been called into spiritual conflict. We must first free ourselves if we are going to be effective in God’s Army.
To be one with each other as Jesus was one with His Father is what he prayed for us. What does this mean for the Christian today?
The Power of the Cross and Christ’s obedience to the Father to carry the mission through.
The love of God reaches out to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people, it searches through the earth seeking those who need his love and lavishes it on them unconditionally. Will you be of those who will take his love to the most needed.
The Truth has become less important today, but as Christians we should uphold the truth.
Our experience should not just be based on our feelings, feelings sometimes let us down our feelings should be based on the Word of God and then our feelings will come into line.
The Bible tells us to meditate on the Word to give it priority in our lives, to mull it over and let it take root.
Second part of Ezekiel 37 the dry bones coming to life, flesh coming upon you and the breath of life breathed into you.
Without the Power of the Holy Spirit in our lives or Churches we are but dry bones the power of the Spirit brings everything to life.
A presentation to the Church about the proposed extension to the Cafe to make room for the whole Church to worship together. Let’s believe God together as we stand in faith for the provision.
An encouraging evening of song/word and prophecy listen to what God was saying to different members of Hope Community Church.
We are in a battle let us fight the good fight, run the race and keep the faith, looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
Without faith it is impossible to please Him, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word so let us not neglect the Word but feed on it daily.
Hospitality the key into people’s lives a tool for discipleship, refreshing and restoration. Our homes are our ministry centres an oasis for broken lives. We are encouraged to practice hospitality.
God is raising up an army in these days bringing the dry bones together and giving life. Dave explained the difference between an Apostolic House and a Church we are a place where people can be restored and refreshed a landing base.
We have a valuable resource of God’s life within us. If we spend this in the lives of others we shall receive a generous return on our investment, an increase of his life within.
The parable of the Sower found in Matthew 13 seed falls on different ground. God is in charge of the crop, its the long haul sometimes as the seed takes root.
Cafe Rendezvous is the meeting place of God, Church is not just for Sundays it is each day of our lives. God dwells in certain places and certain times for his plans and purposes. He is moving in this place.
The Great Commission is that we go and make disciples. Much of the Church has been preoccupied with only making converts. This cannot continue and the Church must change if we are to fulfil our commission.
Are you bearing fruit in your Christian life the fruit of the Spirit whereby others will see Jesus in us. Let us go onto maturity and be willing to be discipled.
Trouble – concern, worry, affliction, pressure, vexation. Christians do not escape trouble because we are followers of Christ but God promises to be with us to deliver, help and bring us through.
Using our gifts in the local church. We are saved to serve. We are not to neglect gathering together as the local church if we do it weakens our hope and causes us to give up.
An amazing story of God drawing an individual into a relationship with himself. God had his hand on Marc from an early age and continues to work out His plans in his life.
Pastor Theodore Effiong is from Nigeria and came to speak at Hope on Growing you Faith so fear will have no place in our lives. He shared stories from Paul Yonggi Cho’s life of faith.
Pastor Dilshan is from Colombo Sri Lanka pastors a church in Colpetty, he is also a businessman so is encouraging to see how God uses each one in the workplace.
The Church Of Jesus Christ is developing into what He requires into eternity where it will be what He wanted. Christ is discipling us in the Church.

Who are you and how do you identify yourself. God told Gideon he was a mighty warrior when he had no identity in himself. Our true identity comes from Jesus Christ he is our foundation our true identity.
The Kingdom of God is taken by forceful men and women. Are we living in this Kingdom. The world is hostile to this Kingdom.
The Holy Spirit is a person, part of the Godhead, he lives inside us we can spend time with Him everyday of our lives
Belonging to a Family God Leigh’s last Sunday so it was a word of encouragement for him as God leads him on and he leaves the Family at Hope. A very sad time but know God will work all things together for good.
Do you know God as “Our Father” or “Your Father” do you know him intimately. Can you trust Him because He is a Good Good Father.
This was partly a sermon and partly a goodbye in this emotional last message from Leigh.
Phil continues the series on the foundations for Christian living by looking at the laying on of hands. Phil explains how it is vitally important that we lay hands on people for various reasons and that we need to be full of the Spirit to be able to give Him away to others.
Winthrop brings a message encouraging us to know the different times and seasons God establishes for us as a church and individually. The series on foundations for Christian living continued on Easter Sunday with a slight jump in the order to look at the resurrection of the dead which is fitting for the occasion.

We were delighted to have Maureen Hider from Oldfield Baptist Church come and share the word of God with us relating to Palm Sunday.
Audrey brings an insightful talk about Adulthood. As Christians we are to constantly be growing into maturity and and so we need to identify the traits of childhood and adulthood to gauge where we are in our walk.
This one was geared towards the ladies it being Mother’s Day. Phil shows us what the relationships should be like between older and younger women in the church and their responsibility is one to another.
There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus but are you condemned, guilty, powerless in your Christian walk? Leigh looks to identify how condemnation comes and shows us the liberty we have to live in no condemnation.
Philip Edwards uses lots of stories from the recent Israel trip to show how Christians shine like stars, especially in the darkness.

Jesus Christ lives in us. It is the wonder of the gospel. The reality of Christ being in us and not external has profound implications for our everyday lives.
As believers we have already come through the narrow gate but what road are we going to walk? One where we live for ourselves or one where we live for God. Leigh looks to give us the options.
Dave preached a message recently entitled ‘A relationship check up’ this is a continuation of that message putting more meat on the bone as he teaches us what it means to love God.
Maybe you have prayed something like this in a difficult circumstance “God, please give me your peace” – Sound familiar? Philip Edwards challenges us that we never have to ask God for His peace but there is a way to live in the peace of God continuously.
