My name is Rhuairidh Walker and i write and record songs in my loft. I try my best to achieve the best quality with the little equipment i have and cannot stress enough that i am a musician who knows how to record everything pretty well but does not have a great knowledge on mixing and mastering. I currently run Pro Tools using an M-Box 2 Mini and use live instruments as much as possible. Im very open for advice and comments as well as any requests. Another new track from my forthcoming album. The bones of this song have been around for a while however, writing was completed during the summer of 2015. This song is about dealing with and coming to the terms of loss. Whether that be a relative, a friendship or anything you feel deep emotional value for. I began writing this about my grandfather who passed several years ago and it grew as time went on. Hope you enjoy it!
First song to be released from my upcoming album. This song is about wanting more out of life and not being content with the way things may be. There comes a time in everyone's life where they question where they are, what they're doing and where they want to be. These lyrics are questioning how your life is lived and how you can get "more" out of it.
A cover I recently covered of The 1975's Sex from their debut album. This is the first track I have recorded with my new electric drum kit.
