Season 2 - Episode 11 of the “Very Unofficial Logistics Plans Podcast” is available.
Topic: Women in the Air Force - Men, Don’t be Dicks 😉 Guests: Kaylee Champion, Aria Starling, Celeste Dean, and Sarah Lowery
Men, the advice from these women is simple - Don’t Be Dicks ❤️
Planners - let me start off by saying it was a privilege to listen to these amazing women share their stories. We’ve all seen reports, had discussions in small groups, but have we sat down and listened to what it’s like to be a Women in the Air Force?
These strong Women talk about what it’s like to be a female in the Air Force, the difficulties they’ve experienced with their voices not being heard, feeling dismissed due to gender, and their experiences with sexual harassment, and what it’s like for the Air Force to make you feel like a victim, even though you’re not.
They express what it felt like to see the first female Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force in office, VP Kamala Harris sworn in, how having a female Wingman helped them along the way, and current statistics on Women in the Air Force when it comes to being represented.
Planner Family - please take the time to listen to this episode with your teammates, and let’s be ready to make sure we kill the types of behavior they talk about before it happens.
Finally, Kaylee Chanpion challenges each of us to listen to Simon Sinek’s video below from his “Leaders Eat Last” segment.
Enjoy 😉

Guest: Cynthia Hettle-Shuff
Notes: Looks likes there’s no fix to the over talking issue on the Anchor app. Bracely and I will be testing another platform soon during a “Live” call in episode, which can be recorded and released just like this one.
