Sramdip is a nomadic artist: born in Nepal. As he wanders the world he is inspired by what he sees. His inspirations are the basis of his creativity: nature, sacred sites, history, and animals. Along with mankind itself. Over the 5 years of travel he has managed to travel and live in 3 different continents; South East Asia, South America, and Europe. His travels have enabled him to explore, study, and document sacred symbols and signs relating to different cultures and peoples on three continents. Arriving in South America brought him to new sacred symbols, new learnings, and new creations. Already very familiar with the symbols and their sacred meanings throughout Asia, South America brought new enlightenment. Early 2020 he traveled to Europe where again he was able to soak up the information regarding sacred symbols and signs. Not only that he has equally familiar himself with street art culture and movement on all these continents – again adding to his artistic knowledge and repertoire. He feels very lucky and honored to be able to collaborate with different street artists from the various continents as well as being able to do a guest spot in various reputed tattoo studio and build camaraderie with many tattoo artists around the world. The world is changing – things will never be the same again. And yet there is hope – the spiritual symbols of the ancients across the globe have sustained mankind through horror and joy. His artwork is reflecting this hope. His new paintings speak of old civilizations, endurance, spirituality, elation, and celebration. His journey continues. We hope we will come along.
