Lenin Cavalcanti Guerra is a Post-Doctoral Fellow, University of Saskatchewan. His recent article in The Conversation (Canada) uses the 30th anniversary of the Robin William's "The Dead Poets Society" as a backdrop for a conversation about rapport in education. Although, Lenin's research focuses on rapport at the post-secondary level, our conversation was able to touch on all levels of the system.

Dr. Ted Christou is Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at Queen's University, Ontario. Widely known for his passion and expertise in the area of the history of education, Dr. Christou's recent article in The Conversation, "Welcome to the latest wave of ‘modernizing,’ ‘progressive’ school reforms in Ontario" sheds a new (!) light on what is currently happening in that province and other jurisdictions across Canada.
Dr. Louis Volante is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at Ontario's Brock University. He was the lead author on a recent article in The Conversation, "Testing literacy today requires more than a pencil and paper". In this conversation we explore the changing literacy landscape around the world and how the assessments that we use to gauge both student success and school effectiveness might be expanded to capture the new possibilities that are open to educators, researchers and, most important, students.

Louise Zimanyi is Professor of Early Childhood Education, School of Health Sciences, Humber College, Toronto
Louise has extensive experience in global and regional programming, policy development and advocacy in early childhood development (including Sustainable Development Goals 4 target on ECD) . She is currently researching how young children develop wonder, wisdom and relationships in a forest and nature program (co-piloted in at Humber College 2016) as well as parent perspectives of their children’s experiences in the forest nature program.
