The Royal Navy’s Northern Diving Group in Faslane, Scotland, may be used to some deep-water action, but they’ve set themselves quite a challenge for Sport Relief 2014. They will be cycling 24 hours straight to smash the Guinness World Record of 102 miles, riding spin bikes underwater in a 3-metre by 3-metre diving display tank so that passers-by can watch and support them. As if that’s not enough, the team of 12 will take 6-hour shifts between them to cycle constantly throughout the week leading up to Sport Relief weekend. The challenge starts 8am on 17th March and finishes at 8pm on 21st March.
