He demonstrated what He expected and empowered them to mirror in His methods. The type of disciple Jesus is seeking in the Twenty-first Century is no different than what He produced in His disciples during His three years of active ministry on the earth. The Holy Spirit aids and empowers you in your personal spiritual formation as a disciple, and helps you to develop others similarly to enjoy His Presence. It is the journey of a lifetime as you learn to partner with God, in obedience and humility, to spread His goodness and glory over all His creation.

Today, God restored hope and joy as He had us focus on truly understanding His heart of love for us. Holy Spirit moved and we were able to lay aside the challenges we are facing, and the trials and temptations of the past, and move into the future with God, and the oneness with God that He desires for us. If only we understood that He views us with such love and considers us the pinnacle of creation, His masterpiece, then we would respond to His love and come into communion with Him as He desires. We responded by getting out of our boxes and out of our comfort zone, into His heart, and just enjoying His presence.

Pharoah had a plan, but God had put generational inheritance on the inside of Jochebed, as she tapped into the Presence of God to give her wisdom to secure the future. Jochebed had a relationship with God that enabled her to gain the wisdom she needed as He ordered her steps to preserve the life of her child, the one who would someday bring deliverance to their nation. God has a good plan for you and your children, and He has everything already in place to secure the future He has mapped out for you and your children. God honors honoring God! As you put your trust in Him, You will receive miracles of timing and supernatural preservation!

We can have faith for healing because healing is one of God’s attributes. God has always intended for His people to walk in wholeness in every way! Healing brings glory to God and releases gratitude and worship from pure hearts. As God’s people remember all His benefits in salvation and wholeness, we will rise into the revelation of His Word and be healed. The Church is being restored in the knowledge that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that healing is ours. As we step into the fullness of our inheritance, we will present this wonderful truth to others and stand healed to heal.

Jesus’s baptism shows us so clearly that as our Savior He identifies with sinners, even though He Himself was sinless. Just as the windows of heaven opened at Jesus’ baptism, you also can expect the windows of heaven to open for you, and grace to come upon you to fulfill your godly purpose and destiny. This baptism is your “water tomb,” and you can have faith that your old self is being buried under the water and you are rising to a new life in God! It is beautiful that the first action in His earthly ministry was baptism, and His last thing of earthly ministry was to tell us go baptize others in His name!

Salvation in the Name of Jesus is the first miracle you need to receive. Whatever your sin, the blood of Jesus can forgive you and wash you clean in one great moment of transformation! Heaven becomes real and death has lost its victory because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead comes to live inside every believer. Lissette gave the beautiful testimony of the miracle that happened in February when her granddaughter, Jestina, suddenly lost consciousness and as God’s people prayed, Jestina received a notable miracle and her life was saved! Jesus commissioned us to make disciples and gave us His authority—all authority. Pastor Dawn extended these three opportunities to everyone—salvation in the name of Jesus, healing in the name of Jesus, and baptism in the name of Jesus. We ended with beautiful salvation and healing prayers made available to everyone, and next week we will have baptism.

It was momentous because Jesus proclaimed Himself as King! It also signified the end of the Old Covenant and the beginning of the New Covenant. It also denotes the end of the sacrificial system of condemnation, and the beginning of Christ’s victory for us over sin and sickness and death! Jesus also announced that He is sending the Holy Spirit to be our Helper since He could not stay. This last week was an emotional week for Jesus in His humanity, as He contemplated the suffering that was coming, and faced the truth that His work on earth was finishing up. Now, nearly 2,000 years later, it is an emotional time for us as we contemplate Jesus’s suffering for our sake, and share in His resolve to finish the work He began.

Weeds in our garden of life are the cares and pleasures of life, things that might not be evil but they separate us from God and choke our roots and fruitfulness. Stones represent sin or compromise that hinder root development in your relationship with God. Justin gave us very practical ways to deal with the weeds with God’s help, and to uncover the stones and choose to do the work to dig them out and live stronger for God! Once you choose to be free for your roots in God to go deeper, then you realize God helps you and you don’t have to do it in your own strength. Jonathan Farrell expanded our understanding of the “Parable of the Sower,” in
that Jesus equated the birds stealing the seeds sown by a farmer with how
demons come to steal the Word of God from being planted in the good soil of our
hearts. Your heart can get trampled and hardened when you have difficult
circumstances in life or have challenges in relationships. We need to let God
deal with our hearts, so that unbelief and hardness of heart don’t block the
Word of God from penetrating our hearts. As an object lesson, Elder Farrell
held up a large hoe and presented seven practical ways to break up hardened
ground in your heart. These wonderful spiritual practices will keep your heart

and producing a bountiful 100-fold harvest for God’s glory in your life.

turn our ground—our heart—from being hardened, unbelieving, shallow, and neglected to being good soil for God so we can have eternally fruitful lives for His glory. Spiritual fruit comes when we set our minds on investing in our relationship with Jesus. Pastor Dawn made it easy by identifying 10 areas in which we can intentionally grow so we can realize God’s DNA is our true identity and bear 100-fold fruit for God. Focusing on these things will help us confront and conquer our enemy the devil, stay consecrated to God and not give up, and enjoy the win!

The “Parable of the Sower” has many layers in understanding how to make your harvest more fruitful, but if you understand this parable then you will be able to understand all the parables of Jesus. We are in a season of taking back all that the devil stole from us during the beginning of this decade, and God is in the midst of removing the chaos and restoring good soil for our harvest. The four types of soil represent the conditions of the hearts of the hearers, and the seed is the Word of God planted in each heart. Be a sincere listener of the Word, and let the Holy Spirit evaluate the condition of your heart, whether it is:
• a hardened and unbelieving heart that denies the power of God
• a stony, shallow heart that only hears emotionally
• a thorny neglected heart that is overtaken by the cares and pleasures of life
• or a fruitful heart that hears and accepts the Word and bears good fruit.
You can actually change your ground by asking God to help you have a heart that is able to hear His Word and believe it and obey it!

God is able to make grace abound to each of us—grace upon grace, because God wants His people to be successful! Even children will be playful in the anointing, for the anointing destroys the yoke and brings revival and reformation! While Jesus was on earth, it is recorded that He asked many questions—about 307 specific questions, by one estimate. Jesus modeled for us how to strategically ask questions that go to the heart of a matter and cause each person to evaluate and dig deeper, and in the process help each person awaken spiritually and grow in spiritual understanding. A question Jesus asked His disciples that increased their understanding was, “Who do men say that I am?” Then Jesus asked His disciples, “But who do you say that I am?” Today, Jesus wants to ask this question of us. He knows what the world says about Him, what other religions say about Him, even what satan says about Him, and He is not moved. But He is personally interested in what YOU have to say in answer to that question. He wants to be your Savior and Lord and have a relationship with you.

We have XPANDED on our re-established foundation in this last year with relevant teaching on how to receive a Word of Knowledge and the Names of God, and that nothing is impossible with our God! Now we are intentionally focusing on the harvest of souls as our number one thing, and receiving strategies and strength to preach the good tidings of Jesus to the poor and needy. We must live our lives purposefully and make the most of our time! God has written a scroll of divine assignments for each one of us, and the Holy Spirit will help us do the will of our Father, just as Jesus always did. Then Pastor Dawn asked several people to give testimonies of how the Holy Spirit lead them to each person that they prayed with at the Town of Davie Orange Blossom Festival this weekend. We are celebrating our XPANDING!
[/kc_column_text][/kc_column][/kc_row]
First, Pastor Dawn listed 10 benefits of prophecy and how it changes your life and increases your faith. Then, Pastor Dawn made a strong case for knowing clearly what the Word says about who God is and about who you are in God! You need to understand that because God thinks strategically and in terms of victory, you can have His plans come to pass when you know who He is and that He has given you dominion—the power to rule and reign with Him! God has given you the ability to think higher and align circumstances in the world to what He says. You are God's son or daughter, and you need to rise up and be who God has called You to be, and not be afraid to represent Him—or "re-present Him!" Breaking generational curses, winning against poverty mentality, and letting go of natural mindsets will release you from fear and insecurity, so you can XPAND and be a demonstration of the glory of God!
On Super Bowl Sunday, Pastor Dawn took the opportunity to let the world know that God has chosen us to win, and that Jesus is our Champion! God said in our prophetic word for this year that He is intersecting Heaven and earth, so we can put our faith on partnering with Him in “going for the touchdown” for the BIG win. It is all for souls saved and people living their life for Jesus as Lord and Savior! Several testimonies from football star Tim Tebow inspired us to see that it is the things we do with God’s heart for others (fishing for souls) that gets us to the end zone! Prayer changes things, and the people of God have to “take it by force” for the final win! We speak into the spiritual realm and take back our joy, take back our children from the land of the enemy, take our health and prosperity back, and openly proclaim Jesus as Lord for the final win! We know Jesus didn’t come here to lose!
Elder Jonathan Farrell expounded on how 2025 has to be a different kind of year for us because God has said it is a year for us to go farther, to XPAND God’s Kingdom in every significant way. Focusing our attention on Jesus, and letting Him be our Treasure that we give up everything else in order to possess, will lead us deeper into loving obedience to God. If we want to do big things for God, it means tuning in and willingly obeying God in the little things. Anytime we obey Him in the small things it prepares us for more. We need to pray daily, “Help us be the people this year who can EXPAND ourselves into Who You are!” Then we will be able to XPAND and believe for God to show up in notable ways and notable miracles!

If we truly believe that Jesus is coming back soon, nearer than when we first believed, every sign happening right now, near and at the door, then there needs to be an urgency that grips our hearts! We are not ashamed of the gospel, so we must seize the moment, receive grace for each day, live holy, pray and GO with the fire and glory of God to advance His Kingdom! There is only one thing better than heaven for you, and that is all the people you take with you to heaven will make heaven even better for you! God doesn’t care near as much about you getting your blessing as He cares about you getting your neighbor saved and on the way to heaven!

Pastor Dawn’s beloved mentor, Bishop Rick Thomas of Abundant Life in Margate, Florida, blessed our congregation with godly wisdom on how to be a friend of God and receive His favor on your life! The same attributes that brought God’s extreme favor on Abraham’s life will bring God’s extreme favor on your life, too. You will see God release faith and favor for souls to be saved, for unusual miracles when you pray, and for supernatural increase in your finances. You will also see God release in you a spirit of generosity because He Himself takes great pleasure in the prosperity of His children. Generosity is a key in fulfilling God’s promise to make sure your future is always greater than your past!
After worship, Pastor Dawn opened up the front and called on Elders and Leaders to pray for everyone who needed healing. Many received healing prayer. Pastor Dawn gave a fiery first-hand account of attending the week of special healing meetings with Evangelist Ankit Rambabu at Abundant Living, and everything she learned. Through her teaching, Pastor Dawn imparted a determination into all of us to receive all that God has for us this year! God has commanded us to XPAND this year, and we are discovering that God has given us just what we need to align with Him and let Him XPAND us as He desires. Our YES even before He speaks is what attracts Him to us so He can release His fullness on our behalf!
Pastor Dawn introduced “XPAND” as the theme that God has given us for this new year of 2025! God is going to extend extreme grace and favor to His people as we intentionally—on purpose with great determination—move in His power and peace to fulfill our assignments for the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is drawing us into revelation in God’s Word, and He is moving us beyond our natural abilities to partner with us to fulfill the desire of His heart! We believe many will come to know Jesus this year, and signs and wonders will be natural to us if we stay close and obey Him!
This year of 2024 was a year that God said we were being re-established. What He meant by “re-established” became evident as the year rolled on! Pastor Dawn encouraged us that with all the challenges we had, He has proved over and over that He is still our Great Big God, and He is more than able to take what we offer Him and bring in the harvest and advance His Kingdom. With many testimonies and beautiful transparency, Pastor Dawn and others in the Church shared testimonies of how God has worked in their lives in this year to re-establish them and build a strong foundation. God is faithful to His word, and He will do it!
Before God announced His love to the whole world through Jesus, there were 400 years of silence from God in Israel. And then, the angels announced Jesus’s birth! Jesus told the world that He came so we could know God’s love. God wants to bring you to a new understanding that you need to be saturated in who Jesus is, because Jesus is our very Hope. He brought heaven to earth in Jesus, so that you might experience Him, and know that God dwells in you. You are coming to know that God is doing something bigger and greater in the world—and it’s YOU! Jesus came to enlarge God’s family, and you are His family! You are living proof that Jesus is alive!
God wants to see you succeed so He has put a system in place based on the principle of “First Fruits.” One of the big challenges we face as Christians is a lack of understanding about how finances work in the Kingdom of God. God wants you to invest in His Kingdom and His way of doing things, and He is looking to give you a harvest! Just as Abraham overcame doubt, built an altar and sowed a seed into his barrenness, God wants to bring your seed to life through an offering of faith that re-establishes the things that are important in your life. As you obey the Lord this year, as Abraham did, you are going to see God’s system of abundance begin to flow again. Sowing precious seed releases precious harvest!
Pastor Dawn laid the foundation from God’s Word of how important it is to honor God and put Him first. God is a Giver—an extravagant Giver, and He wants us to give so that He can release His blessing to us. Just like planting a seed brings a return for the one who plants, giving an offering to God acknowledges Him and enables God to give back to us from the abundance of His Kingdom. Giving to God at the beginning of the cycle of harvest, and releasing my first and best offering to Him, is a wonderful way to prove your trust in God. It says to God that my confidence is in Him and that I want to include Him in my future. I can know the joy of living because I’ve learned the Kingdom principle of giving! God wants me to live with more than enough, and when I put Him first, He takes care of everything else!
With many personal stories and wonderful encouragement that everyone can hear from God, Bryan Emory outlined how God talks to us, and how much God wants to reveal His love and His purpose for each of us! Very persuasively and with supporting scripture, Bryan presented several ways God speaks to all people and especially gets the attention of each one that opens their heart to seek God and hear His voice.
God has been exposing the enemy’s tactics of delay, doubt and fear to try to lessen our faith in God. God wants His Church to partner with Him by continuing to move forward on His instructions, as declared in Isaiah 61. We are equipped to overcome the enemy’s attempts to cause us to become weary and to cause us to disengage from who our God is and who we are in Him. We move forward by realizing He is fighting for us, and we can go even deeper in our intensity and devotion to Him. Devotion is “being ardently dedicated and loyal” in your personal, private worship.
Pastor Dawn showed us in Psalm 18 how the enemy has used delay and doubt to project fear in our hearts to disengage us from God’s love and make us unresponsive to His Spirit. When the lies of the enemy make us feel as if we have no strength, and the delay becomes more real than the promises in God’s Word, then we begin to doubt God’s love and we begin to disengage. But if you just call His Name and remember that our God is “Lord Sabaoth—Mighty in Battle,” then He will show up in such a way that you re-engage. His Holy Spirit will illuminate your soul to behold His beauty once again. You will realize He has only love for you, and it will reawaken your soul to respond. You will begin to declare His truth once again, and remember that you are joined to Him. You will reconnect to the life and joy He has promised and become aware, once again, of your “oneness” with Him
Pastor Dawn ministered deeply in the prophetic before ministering deeply in the Word. Many of us have had our faith shaken and have fallen back into doing what we know to do, instead of walking in real faith and assurance of God’s love and being filled with the power and presence of God’s Word. Doubt and fear are consistent tactics of our enemy, the devil, but we need to counteract and consistently put our trust in Jesus. We need to partner with Him on purpose to defeat doubt by steadfastly remembering “how BIG our God is!” We need to go from “fear-based living” to “faith-based living,” focusing not on what could be better but focusing on what we have been promised in God’s Word. We have to take the Word of God and let the Word come up in us as our defense. He doesn’t fail! He is with us and for us!
Pastor Dawn has been seeking the Lord for the reason a spiritual alarm went ofǐf in her spirit earlier in the week. The Lord showed her very uniquely and specifically that the Church has fallen back on doing what we know to do instead of rising up to walk in the Spirit with the assurance of God, and be filled with His love, His power, His joy and His Presence. The enemy tried to shake our faith with hit after hit, and one significant way has been through delay. It is a test of faith when we expect God to move in a certain way or in a certain timeframe, and we become vulnerable to certain lies of the enemy when it doesn't happen the way we expect. God's remedy for building our faith solidly on Him as our strong foundation is to allow our own faith to be refreshed and revived by awakening faith and offering hope to others. Life comes from the flow of the Word coming out of our mouths into the midst of the storm.
Pastor Dawn asked three speakers to each give 10-minute sermons on our Liberty core value of Freedom. In a delightful puppet presentation by Susie, a puppy named Shaggy was set free when he asked Jesus to forgive him. Freedom comes at a cost, and our personal freedom from sin has been won at great cost by Jesus on the cross. Renee reminded us that lining our lives up with the Word of God frees us from the bondage of sin. We have a free will to serve God and to serve others. True freedom is to be more dependent on God, not independent from Him. Jeff declared many verses showing that clearly Christ wants us to enjoy freedom in every area of our lives. Christ's Kingdom is an "upside-down Kingdom," and that applies to our pursuit of freedom also. As disciples of Christ, we have given up our own free will to embrace His will. We have become bond-servants of Christ and found that we must embrace a higher concept of freedom because our true fulfillment and freedom in Christ is serving Him.
It delights God's heart for His people to be in UNITY. The spiritual principle is that with unity nothing will be impossible. Obviously, if God desires unity, then it is the devil stirring up division. It is fear that keeps us from being united to God, but we have authority over fear. We want God to act on our behalf in our timeframe, and when He stretches us to grow our faith and help us grow in relationship, we don't understand, but we will mature by going forward steadfastly in God. Obeying God brings unity, and unity brings blessing and a greater ability to receive in relationship with God and with others. God is changing us into His image and likeness, and making us all one with Him!
Pastor Dawn traced the reality of Jehovah Shammah, “The Lord Is There,” from first mention in Ezekiel 48:35b to Matthew 1:23 where it is recorded, “They called His name Immanuel, which means ‘God with us.’” God wants you to experience His Presence. God is here right now, and He wants to pour out on you and give you a taste of what is to come. As you acknowledge and seek Him, He will give you a hunger to have more of His glory. God is a Living Spirit, transforming you into His image and giving you true peace in His Presence. You ask, “Where is God?” He is here, He is there, and He is with you when you get a bad doctor’s report, and He is with you when you make major life-changing decisions. He is there when you’re lonely; He’s there when you are tempted; He’s there when you’re sad; He’s there when you are truthful. He’s always there, always offering His comfort, His love and His strength, even when you don’t feel Him. God wants you to be aware of this even when you’ve lost your faith: GOD IS THERE WITH YOU.
Pastor Dawn asked several people to share from their heart on the Love of God, one of Liberty’s six core values.Alma gave glory to God for all the things He has brought her through in life, and it is only because God’s love is greater than any other love. Grayson contrasted God’s love with family love and worldly love. He shared how God’s love helped him overcome in very difficult situations. He encouraged each of us to believe that He will never leave you or forsake you, and you will find out just how much He is for you, and that He is always by your side. Joanna exhorted us to learn to allow God to love us. That is key to giving and receiving love from others. Pastor Dawn encouraged us that God’s amazing, faithful love is always available to us each moment, and that is exactly why we must never take His love for granted. Set apart time to be with Him alone, and You will actually experience God because He IS love.
Jonathan Farrell illuminated the name of God of Yahweh Nissi, God is my Banner, that God gives me His banner of victory. His banner of love keeps us safe and unified, gives us God’s authority, gives each of us identity and purpose, and the knowledge that God will defend us and fight for us! We must focus on God and what He is doing, not on the battle down here. What is happening in the spirit realm is way more important and far-reaching than the part of the battle we can see. Make sure you are fighting under God’s banner. Then Pastor Dawn encouraged us in these times (and in this election year) to rally to God’s banner as our ultimate authority. We must fight in the spiritual realm for righteousness and vote biblical principles, and let God’s banner fly higher than any other.
Hunger for God is having a craving, urgent need for Him. God is going after the one who is hungry for Him. Like Moses, we can crave God’s Presence. And like manna, we must require Him as our daily craving, new every morning, and not try to live on yesterday’s anointing. We can be fulfilled and maintain our relationship with God by being a giver, like He is, and by insisting on living in His presence. When you cry out for more, you can be sure that God will answer that prayer. And your life will be living proof of Him—that He is and that He is a rewarded of those who crave to experience Him.
Being “Presence-driven” is focusing on connecting to God, which is a Liberty core value. We were created with the capacity to be hungry for God, craving to know Him and the power of His love. It is hunger for God that leads me into His Presence. We can enter His Presence hungry and also leave hungry for more! Pursuing God keeps me passionate for Him, to connect to His character, His heart and His power. Being in His Presence allows me to experience Him, and then I find out that I thrive when I am in His Presence. I am living proof that God is still moving and changing people’s hearts, and there is nothing He can’t do!
Elder Herbert Lindo and Pastor Dawn taught why connection to God and to one another is one of Liberty’s core values. Herbert explained why God created us to intentionally and purposefully connect with Him and with each other, though satan hinders this and subverts us to be self-centered and disconnected. The Cross portrays our VERTICAL connection with God, and our HORIZONTAL mandate to love one another. It is a very special connection to invite people into your home and share your hospitality. Pastor Dawn imparted the truth to us that the greatest thing we can do in life is connect with God, and then with others on purpose to receive and give. Concentrate on these important things to be an influencer and draw others to God: 1) your earnest pursuit of God, 2) your capacity to recognize and value the giftings and anointings of those around you who are pursuing God, and 3) keep honor for these ministers of God alive in your heart. These three characteristics stir up your hunger for God and release God to impart awesome things of the Spirit to you, and He will cause you to influence your friends and family for God
Pastor Dawn asked several speakers to share 10 minutes each on Liberty’s core value of Connection to God and to each other.Susan Dudley spoke on being an encourager with a love connection to God and a deep desire to help others get close and connected to God, too. You get to know someone by spending time with them, and that’s how we get close to Jesus. Susan illustrated with magnets how God wants to connect with us and the devil brings a lie to repel us from God. An interesting point is that God is eternally connected in the Trinity in the closest relationship ever known. He created us because He wants to connect with us, and we are made in His image to value and thrive in connection. Jessica Dail explored several questions: What connects you to God? What connects God to you? How can you increase the connection and bring others into your connection with God? Jessica pinpointed how to make the most of your connections, and one key is being grateful! It’s important in all your connections to protect your connection to God, because those people are in your life for them to get connected to God not to distract you from God! Mariela Fernandez highlighted that the first connection is God and Christ and Holy Spirit. Each person’s first connection is to God, because you were “in Him” before the world began. It’s not hard to connect to God because His yoke is easy! God called you to be a conduit (of His love) and a connector!
Be a doer of God’s word and not a forgetful hearer. By being a doer for God, you will be seen by all around you because you will be demonstrating God’s love. You will also become a target of satan, but God is your Protector, and He will guard your heart and mind. Make sure you are a doer of God’s word with the right heart, and don’t be afraid to be seen doing the right thing, because you are bringing honor to God! And you are bringing people to God because you can’t hide being a doer!
We are in a “kairos” moment of God awakening His people to the truth that we serve a GREAT BIG GOD! He is committed to His people working WITH HIM to accomplish the most important thing He wants to do in the earth—bring in a harvest of people who have opened their hearts to Him. It is a season to grow our faith and spend time with Him so that we hunger for the things He hungers for. In this “DO season,” God is releasing signs and wonders, and we must allow Him to overtake our hearts so we will not resist Him with natural thinking. People must see the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit and hunger after Him in such a way that they don’t care about the distractions, because they have been touched by God. Our Savior will increase our appetite and allow us to join Him in His hunger for ALL to come to the knowledge of God, to hunger for Him and receive salvation! Then when we hunger for the same things He hungers for, we will be filled—with joy, with blessing, with power, with delight in being who He called us to be!
Pastor Dawn and Jonathan Farrell team taught about the Body of Christ flowing in Holy Spirit empowerment. Empowerment is when we step into faith and step into everything God has given us by His Spirit. Empowerment is when we understand our legal authority in Christ to bring wholeness and healing to all. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us—and we need to act on it! We have been given a specific assignment to heal the sick and raise the dead, and the gates of hell won’t prevail against us because we are the Church. God gave us gifts, including the word of knowledge and word of wisdom, because He prefers to partner with us in establishing His Kingdom. If God was going to do it all Himself it would be done already, but God wants to bless His people, and give us confidence in our identity in Him
Liberty Life Center is a prophetic Church with an emphasis on hearing from God and following through with everything He said. In this year of re-establishing, we want to partner with Him in re-establishing our prophetic foundation and the power of a testimony. If you remember two things—that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever, and that Jesus is no respecter of persons, then you will have faith that everything God has ever done belongs to you, too! People can hear a testimony and receive faith. Testimonies are a declaration of good news, that can draw people’s hearts to God and demonstrate the goodness of God. We are a people who have awesome testimonies, and we will have even more, because God verifies His word in our lives. He watches over His word and the word of our testimony to fulfill it!
The secret that God shared with us today is that God‘s love language is Quality Time. Being one with Father God releases us, just like Jesus, into operating with the power of connection with God. When we spend time with Him, we have power, authority, and confidence that God will do greater things in us, and bring us forth to impact others’ lives, too. The devil tells us lies to keep us from quality time with God because satan is very afraid of us walking in holiness—which should motivate us even more to pursue quality time with God! The reward of time gazing into His eyes is so wonderful we are not able to stop talking about it! The reward of quality time with God is being one with God, and having a higher revelation of who we really are!
Within the Church and within our culture, it has become evident there is a crisis in the family of missing healthy spiritual fathers. Fathers are urgently needed to impart and instill the heart of our Father in our children. Consider that parents are the key to the children’s hearts, and fathers in particular contribute to emotional stability, so the great need we see in our culture today is because the fathers are missing. But God is adjusting and reestablishing every area of our culture, and it is up to us in the Church to give examples within our culture of godly fathers, and raise up strong godly families. Jesus gave us a revelation of God as our Father, and His attributes reveal Him as Provider, Protector, Encourager, Comforter, and more. We are not all fathers, but we can all have our Father‘s heart. Spend time with your Father God, and get to know how He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Barry and Patty Jordan, missionaries to Papua, Indonesia, (the western half of the island of New Guinea,) gave a moving report of how the Lord is using them in this majority Muslim nation. They said it is “such a privilege and pleasure” to be used by God in teaching Bible School, spiritually parenting many, many young people, and to also be in outreach to Muslim communities, even building and staffing Christian kindergartens in Muslim communities. Barry and Patty have found an effective way to mentor young people to “lay aside every burden,” and come to the Lord and enter the rest that only He can give. They read Hebrews 12:1 and ask the young person, “Do you have any burdens? And do you want rest from your burden?” Invariably, the answer is yes. Then Barry and Patty encourage them through a deep and cleansing experience of forgiveness, confession, resisting the devil, blessing those who have hurt you, and being filled up with the Holy Spirit. Then they prayed for everyone at the altar.
Pastor Dawn asked several speakers to share 10 minutes each on one of Liberty’s core values—generosity.1. Bryan Emory spoke on “The Measurement of Generosity,” letting your giving be from your heart, and contrasting measuring your giving with a spoon, a shovel, or a bulldozer!2. Trish Turner spoke on “The Sensitivity of Generosity,” about being a cheerful giver and being attentive to God to give what another person needs.3. Letha Skinner reminded us that God loved the world so much that He GAVE His own Son—John 3:16.4. Duffy Skinner spoke on the wisdom and humility of generosity portrayed by Ruth toward Naomi.5. Justin Taylor exposed 3 lies the devil tells us so that we will withhold and be sparing instead of generous in our giving. Each one of our speakers brought the focus back to Jesus
The REAL promise of Pentecost is living a life empowered by the Spirit of God to walk in holiness, to have freedom to live life bigger than wrestling with your demons, to experience a life of discovering what you are capable of when you are partnering with the Holy Spirit! We have the Holy Spirit as our parakletos, our “defense attorney,” the One who is our Helper, but we need to engage with Him fully in order to experience our freedom from the entanglements of the enemy. Pastor Dawn ministered in a deeply personal way with each person to release freedom from sin, depression, confusion and other strongholds. We experienced the Holy Spirit shift the atmosphere as Pastor Dawn prophesied, “The beauty of today is that you have been set free from captivity, awakening the truth in your mind, body and finances, and in your circumstances, that you are not beggars, but you are more than conquerors!” Amen!
We can learn and be inspired by Mary’s story. She leaned on God’s Word and moved forward, trusting God’s leading and direction. Mary believed that God would keep His promises, and decided to trust Him during the uncertainties in life.Although Mary’s path was unknown, she surrendered to faith, hope and love, and trusted God in moving forward. Moments with God will release hope when you are facing unbelievably difficult challenges. You can experience faith in the midst of the circumstance and say to God as Mary said to the angel, “Let it be done as you have said.” And God will give you grace in that moment to do and be all that He has for you, and you can know that you can feast on His love, rest in His love all the way through the unknowns. The most important thing is to make the “God decision,” and then it’s on God to fulfill it!
Pastor Dawn reminded the body of Christ that we are in a spiritual war, and that when Satan comes with his lies, it is God’s Love that wins the battle for us. There is no force in the universe more powerful than the love our Heavenly Father has for His children. God sent His Son out of love, and He will always love you no matter what. In this time, God is reestablishing us in His love so deeply that we will see God BIG, know His love in our brokenness, turn away from lies of the enemy about God, and understand His love gives us our true identity, and gives us purpose and meaning. Pastor Dawn shared how God called her to be a Pastor at the Sea of Galilee and she saw all the “diamonds” on the water that represented how many lives would be changed by His love and her yes. Tearsa Burgess gave a beautiful testimony of how God realigned her heart and gave her back her confidence that the Love of God would see her through every challenge, and in this process we need each other in the body of Christ.
: Pastor Dawn introduced the topic of Faith, and introduced four people to talk about Faith for 10 minutes each. We learned that Jesus lived full time in both the physical realm and the spiritual realm. Feeding the 5,000 and healing the woman who accessed the spiritual realm by Faith when she touched Him are beautiful examples of living in the unlimited dimension of the spiritual realm. We can do the same things Jesus did if we keep our Faith free from fear. We’ve all been given a measure of Faith, but in some ways, engaging Faith is like a risky investment, as shown in the parable of the talents. God is pleased when we engage Faith to expand His Kingdom because that shows we really believe Him, and we are fully invested. Faith is how the Kingdom of God advances on the earth. Everyone, even an atheist, has Faith in something, so locate your Faith and make sure your Faith is in the Truth. Truth is a person; it’s Jesus! Then saturate yourself in Truth until you experience what you believe. Cultivate the promises you need, and “up the dosage” until God’s Presence is more real to you then any other thing, because Faith knows God’s will and lives intentionally.
At Liberty, our passion is to provide an atmosphere where Holy Spirit is welcomed and free to do whatever! We want Liberty to be a place where people encounter God and He empowers us to engage in reaching the world for His Kingdom. We want the Presence of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit demonstrated in our lives with freedom. Liberty’s Mission is to love God passionately and serve others significantly by embracing, displaying and sharing God‘s love. Liberty‘s Vision is partnering with Jesus to continue His mission to disciple, empower and transform individuals, cities and nations. God is reestablishing Liberty in our core values of Freedom, Connection, Generosity, Development, Spirit-empowerment, and Love, to help us accomplish our mission and move forward together, equipped and build together by God Himself.
The Bible has many accounts of people having experiences with Jesus where He came into their situation and settled it forever for them that He is real, that He does miracles, and that Jesus is God. God wants to come into your life, too, and give you an “It’s too late” moment, where from that moment forward no one could ever talk you out of your faith in God. It’s too late, because you’ve already experienced Him, already received His help in a tangible, life-changing eventful moment! Jeff encourages everyone that if you want an “It’s too late” moment with God, where God personally, supernaturally intervenes in your situation He will give you one. He wants to reveal Himself, and He wants you to hold onto your “It’s too late” moment and have faith that no one can talk you out of! It’s just TOO LATE, because you are already totally convinced because you have personally experienced God in your life!
Christ’s resurrection and victory over death and the grave is the evidence of our victory and ability to live an overcoming life. We have been united in Christ, and it is His resurrection power that gives us the power to always live in victory. His DNA is our DNA! In God‘s Kingdom, you are the apple of His eye, and He gave you the keys to the Kingdom, as well as the keys for you to have all authority. A lack of hunger for God and a lack of hunger for the greater works of God keeps us from doing the miracles that God wants to do through us. We are waiting on God for revival, but God is waiting on us to be revealed in our authority and power to partner with Him in signs, wonders and miracles! Pastor Dawn showed a powerful clip of Comedian Michael Jr. to illustrate how God wants us to pay attention and partner with Him.
Pastor Dawn shared that her beloved niece, Danielle, had a stroke this week, and went to be with Jesus. But even in her young life, Danielle modeled a rewarding relationship of depending on God through every challenge, and knowing Jesus as her greatest treasure. When you understand who Jesus is, and what He has made available to you, you will find Him in your darkest moments, leading you through to see that He was holding you through all you faced. The key is accepting and receiving Him. God loves you so much that He has allowed Jesus to be found easily when you search for Him. In God’s love is the security everyone is looking for. He is the way to know true peace in your soul.
We may not understand the timing of God, but we do know obedience to God‘s unusual requests brings unusual supernatural results. The disciples obeyed Jesus in the unusual request to seemingly steal someone’s donkey and bring it to Jesus. Jesus was fulfilling prophecy and involving His disciples because He was preparing them for the future. God wants us to be willing to obey Him in unusual ways and trust Him for the results for building His Kingdom. There are those that will listen and those that reject, but love is still calling. God is engaging all of His disciples to disciple others by the gifts He has given us, and it’s time for us to know how big is our God, and how big He is on the inside of us!. When we do the unusual things He asks of us He can bring the miraculous! There is a celebration coming in heaven, and all who respond to Him will get to be part of it! In Revelation 7:9-10 we read of “a great multitude of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, WITH PALM BRANCHES in their hands, praising God!
Over the last few years, so much has happened and God's people have all been under attack by the evil one, but God is ready to roar back and restore what was lost, stolen, or destroyed. When we are under attack, part of the plan of the enemy is to wear away at our purpose. In Judges 6 and 7 Gideon experienced this too! After being oppressed by invaders, he felt defeated and forsaken, but God had a plan and could see Gideon's purpose even when Gideon could not. Gideon had to realize he was chosen by God for a specific purpose unique to him. Then Gideon had to tear down lies he had believed that kept him from trusting God. After he took a prophetic action and tore down the altar of Baal and the personal lies he had believed simultaneously, Gideon had to lift his eyes up from his circumstances to trust in God. When we realize we are chosen by God, tear down lies, and lift our eyes up from our situations, we are ready to do the last action Gideon took to realize his purpose: command in the wisdom of God. Gideon went from being timid and defeated to commanding fearlessly and having his purpose re-established. God can and will do the same for us when we say "yes" to Him. Healing, restoration, and purpose go hand in hand when we're following Jesus!
On Valentine’s Day, Elder Eric Taylor encouraged the congregation that loving one another like God loves requires vulnerability, trust and transparency, and he committed to loving the family that meets here at Liberty as God loves them. Today, Elder Eric shared from his heart of how the Lord is working in his life to bring him into the freedom that Christ gives. Eric shared that God has been revealing the subtle lies of the enemy he had been believing for years that were stealing his joy and power and freedom, and causing him to sin. Eric encouraged each person to ask God to show them what lies of the devil they were believing, and to ask God to reveal the truth of God and apply the truth of God’s Word. In God’s Kingdom, vulnerability is victory, transparency is freedom, selflessness brings fulfillment, and humility positions you to be used by God. God is working to bring the whole Body of Christ into being the Bride without spot or wrinkle. When you get out of your comfort zone to be transparent and humbly obey God, you discover God is with you—and there is nothing as wonderful as the transformation and freedom that realization brings!
God is reESTABLISHING Love to be the driving force for His people. We are in a new season of God’s Love blowing on us and awakening our capacity to carry His Love forward to others. God is changing you from the inside out to desire more of Him. He is causing you to know who you really are, and more importantly, He is restoring you to feel the Presence of God. God says to increase your faith by being in His presence. As Love increases by being in His Presence, it causes your capacity to believe to increase also. Say to the Lord, “I want all that You have,” and then He will meet with you and store His treasures inside of you, and you will pass them on to other people! God is full of Love and answers, and He wants you to experience His Love so much that His love does not just reside in you, but it bubbles up within you, and overflows out of you to others
Pastor Dawn released a timely prophetic word during worship. The Lord said to His people, “Don’t just visit Me; instead, dwell inside Me and abide in Me. Press through to breakthrough!” We are realizing that God is doing something unusual at Liberty to reESTABLISH the foundation and direction of the Church. In studying Nehemiah‘s challenge of building up the broken down walls of Jerusalem in 52 days, we recognize that God is also moving supernaturally to build up our broken down walls in these days. Many people gave their testimony of what God is doing in their lives, and we are more determined than ever to fulfill the purpose of God for Liberty. It is exciting to see and hear what God is doing to ignite each one personally, to fire each person up and help them to fulfill the plan of God for their lives. It is also exciting to see the teams God is putting together and see how they encourage one another:
It is an extremely exciting but very uncomfortable time in the Church, because God is getting each one of us out of our comfort zone and into the place where we know we can’t do it without Him—and that’s a good thing! God is restoring our purpose to us. He has a plan and a goal, and we get to be part of what God is doing! It is in our relationship with God that we are changed, and learn to walk in a victorious attitude so we don’t focus on being afraid of what the enemy is doing. In the Bible, Nehemiah, Moses, Gideon, David, Peter and Saul who became Paul saw themselves a certain way, but it’s a good thing that God saw each one His way. No matter what the enemy has tried to tell us, it is a good thing that we are His beloved, and we are learning how much God loves us. Pastor Dawn invited those who wanted to be prayed for about a spirit of fear to come up and receive personal prophetic ministry, and many were set free and the glory of God came down in our midst!
The key to understanding the Parable of the Sower is to know that you can become good ground, just as Abraham believed God, and God honored that faith as righteousness and partnered with Abraham to be a blessing. Abraham went on a journey of faith to get doubt, fear and compromise out of his life to become good ground in all areas. Obeying God brings life and joy, and as we go through life we let Him change our ground to be confident in God and lead by the Spirit in every area.
We are in a season of reformation right now. God is causing us to re-evaluate what we have left behind and what we need to restore into our lives. God shows us how to overcome the consistent attacks from the enemy. God is calling upon His people to once again rise up and partner with Him in what He is releasing. God is looking for His people to prophesy into every situation. We proclaim that we are revived and the Whole Body of Christ is coming together and walking in the defeat of the enemy!
Jesus demonstrated for us how to be in constant communication with God. If Jesus had to stay connected to God the Father, we know how important it is for us! Jesus often prayed alone, intimately, not just when others were around. We must “always pray and not give up,” because God‘s timing is best, and we don’t know everything! God promised to be attentive to your cry, so don’t forget to thank Him, and remember Jesus defeated Satan already! When the Holy Spirit says, “Pray!” it is because God needs you to pray passionately and partner with Him right then, and the details might be emotionally overwhelming to you.
God has given us the tools to hone our faith skills. God is still alive and after His people. He is still speaking in a loud voice and in various actions. We just need to Expect Him, to Respect Him, and to Obey Him when He makes His will known to us. We do not need to only go to Him when we need something. We need to be constantly in communion with Him. He is your Lord, with your best interest. He will talk to you, He will train you, He will love on you, and He will correct you. He will be your answer!
We have all been there when what little faith we have is leaking away. But Jesus says, “God‘s got this! Have faith in God and stop leaking under pressure.” Our faith is in process, and God is training us. Pastor Dawn reminds us that faith increases as we go deeper in relationship with God and understanding His Covenant of Love. It is not about what you do to have more faith, but God grows your faith and displaces all your insecurity and fears. As you go deeper in relationship with Him you will recognize where your real treasure is!
If you entertain the devil and his lies, he will convince you that God is not who He says He is, and cause you to operate in fear and a place of dysfunction. The devil might not get you to quit loving God, but you may feel you don’t fully trust Him. Pastor Dawn showed how God wants to awaken you to the truths that will restore you to bold faith and sweet fellowship with Him on a daily basis, just as He originally intended. Listen to hear people give testimonies that will renew and build your faith!
The Parable of the Talents warns us that our place of service in Heaven depends on our faithfulness and service on earth. God has entrusted many things of His Kingdom to us, and He expects us to use and apply these talents and gifts wisely. Talents represent our abilities, time, resources, and opportunities to serve God and others while on earth. Kingdom Living Is when we arise into partnering with our King and give back to Him what He has entrusted to us. When we come back to our First Love and keep our hearts fixed on Him, He pours out His heart on us! “Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid.“ Quote By Jim Caviezel.
We have learned that we must understand who we really are and how God has created us to be a part of the Kingdom that operates by the power of the Spirit, and not by our natural strength. We have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light through the power of Jesus, our King! Now we operate by kingdom dynamics that are not natural, but SUPERnatural. We were made in God’s image and in His likeness to operate from His DNA and for His pleasure. It is time we rise and honor Him for who He is and operate as He created us to, each with our own unique purpose!
Jesus came as the first born of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. He came to call us into relationship with Him as His disciples, who were both born into this Christian movement through first believing in Him, and then being made into someone who reflects His personhood. Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God and showed His disciples how to live a new way, by preforming signs, wonders and miracles. He healed the sick and set the captives free, and He taught His disciples to do the same! This is the life Jesus desires for us as His followers today. We are to live a lifelong experience as imperfect people who have committed to the idea of being shaped into the image of Jesus, living the way He lived on the earth, and advancing the Kingdom of God wherever we go!
Today we honor Father’s, but most of all we honor our Father in Heaven, Hallowed Be His Name! Herbert shared from the book by A.W. Tozer, “The Knowledge of the Holy”, telling how often the human heart is prone to the sin of Idolatry, something God truly hates. According to the book, the idolatrous heart can dishonor God by assuming that God is other than He really is. We tend to substitute the “true God” for one made after our own likeness. That is Idolatry! There is great importance in having a “proper view of God”, and a “proper view of ourselves as children or God.” Hebert used the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30 as a great example of how having a wrong view of God can lead us astray, and ultimately away from God all together. Listen to learn how to view our Father in Heaven rightly, and give Him all honor and glory due His Name!
June is the time of Graduation for many as they leave schools and universities. It is a time of transition into a greater season of growing and maturing. One of the things we must do after graduation is begin the practice of creative transformation, by shedding some of our old habits, and creating new ones. We must begin by moving forward in our relationship with the Lord, and trusting Him as we enter into the unknown. There were many “graduates” in the bible. Pastor Dawn used the relationship of Elijah and Elisha as an example of how we are to listen when God calls us into His plan for our lives. She explains how like Elisha, God has a plan for each one of us, and each of our 2023 Graduates as well! Congratulations Graduates!
The plan from the beginning was that Holy Spirit would come and empower His people from within. He lives with us and is IN US, and He fills us with the power needed to advance Kingdom Living on the earth. Our ability comes from having spent time with Him in the Secret Place. Ephesians 2:10 tells us that we were created for “Good Works”, and Pastor Dawn shares how we are going to walk in them during this time of restoration on the earth. Watch as the “body” demonstrates Kingdom Living by ministering one unto another. This is Kingdom Living!
Pentecost is a Day that should be celebrated by all follows of Jesus Christ! Sadly, many in the Body of Christ do not celebrate it, or even recognize it as a day of importance. Those that do, know that it is the day Holy Spirit was poured out on the earth fifty days after Jesus’ ascension to Heaven. But, it represents so much more! Pastor Dawn explains that Pentecost fulfilled the need of restoration! Pentecost not only took place to empower the people of God by filling them with His Holy Spirit, but also to restore all that had been lost so long ago, from Adam & Eve, to the Tower of Babble, and beyond. The plan was for the Spirit to empower His people from within, to live with us and IN US; bringing us back to a former, original state of UNITY, which God always intended. Listen to learn how!
If you have received Jesus as Lord and Savior, then you have had an experience with the Master! Jesus is the foundation of life and our joy comes from Him. Pastor Dawn explains how “True Joy” is supernatural, and can only be experienced by knowing HIM. When we are abiding in His presence and staying filled with the Holy Spirit, we have His joy! It’s His joy that sustains us in the midst of our circumstances or storms. The joy of the Lord lives within us and compels us forward through every situation in life. The truth is, joy does not come from us “choosing” it, it comes through us tapping into the Joy of the Lord that Jesus gave us at Salvation through Holy Spirit. We just need to recognize it, believe it, and live in it!
Pastor Dawn’s daughter, Tearsa, gave a beautiful message honoring “Moms” on Mother’s Day. In a spirit of fun, she shared what would be her version of a “Proverbs 32” if she were asked to write one from her perspective based on her “Mom”, Pastor Dawn Rene McCann. With much humor and honor, Tearsa shared what she gleaned from the God given wisdom her mother imparted to her throughout her life, and how her obedience to follow that wisdom (even until this very day) has proven time and again the value and importance of functioning properly as a family in the Body of Christ. Listen and enjoy as she exhorts and encourages us to realize the value of our mothers, our families, and how each of us should aspire to become spiritual parents to those God has put in our lives.
Without faith it is impossible to please God! We know this because the Bible tells us so. Faith is the key thing you need if you want to experience God. Not because God is not available. Not because God demands it. But He cannot reveal Himself to anyone who refuses to put their faith in Him and His Word. Emotions are just feelings and feelings shift on the information received. No, we must believe in Him in spite of our feelings, current circumstances, and what others tell us to believe or not believe. He is longing to prove Himself strong to those who put their trust in Him. We must live our lives with faith and expectancy so He can move in and through us!
Bishop Rick shares life-changing, faith-building testimony after testimony, of the goodness and faithfulness of God! We cannot underestimate Him! His promises and His Word are true and stand the test of time. He is not a man that He should lie. His Word does not return void! In 2 Corinthians 8:9, we learn that Jesus became poor so that we would become rich; in and through His sacrifice for us. Rich in every area of our lives! What do you have in your hand? David only had 5 stones and a sling, and God gave him victory because of his faith and his willingness to use what he had in his hand! Do not underestimate God!
Last week, we had a Holy Spirit-directed service that you should watch online! We learned that salvation is only the beginning of all that God has given us through His Son. This week, Pastor Dawn reveals that after salvation, we must grow and know, that salvation does not take trials out of our lives. Jesus told us that in this world we would have trials and tribulations, but He has overcome the world. And so can we! As fiery lovers of Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, we are to live as passionate people so fired up about the truth of what God and Jesus have done for us that we are able to face challenges and times of temptation with the same victory that Jesus did in Luke chapter four. We need to use our words to speak the Word like Jesus did in the wilderness. When we do, we too will defeat the enemy in our lives and go out empowered by the Spirit to bring truth and freedom to others!
The people of God are a very privileged people for so many reasons! Salvation is the beginning, the open door to a journey to know all the truths that are in God’s Word, so we can overcome the enemy of our soul and become passionate people, so fired up about the truth of what their God has done that we become fiery lovers of Him! Yes, if you are “Saved” you have experienced the greatest miracle of all! You have transferred from one kingdom to another. “Made New” because you have experienced a supernatural event. But this is the beginning of so much more! In today’s sermon, Pastor Dawn demonstrates the power that Jesus made available to each of us through the filling of His Holy Spirit; the One who brings the fire to burn up the dross of our past, to change us from the inside out, and light our path with power and purpose, so that we become the answer a lost world is longing for!
God formed man in His image and in His likeness. He built a relationship with Adam and Eve in the Garden, but then satan came with an accusation against God, causing Eve, and then Adam, to choose the lie over the purity of God’s plan. Because of their choice, man was then born with a sin. The Old Testament, it proves that man cannot overcome sin by their own strength. But we serve a great God! Our Father, the creator and ruler of the universe, made a way for us to overcome sin, through His only begotten Son, Jesus! Before there could be a resurrection, there had to be a death. Jesus was the living sacrifice that covered all our sins with His own pure blood. Through one man’s sin (Adam’s), came spiritual death and separation from God. But through one man’s love and sacrifice (Jesus), came the rebirth of spiritual life! God’s original intent was restored; our ability to have a personal relationship with God as His children! Jesus Made Everything New!
Pastor Rick shared from his book “Giving, Forgiving, and Thanksgiving”; teaching us how each ties into the other. He shared how in Matthew 14 Jesus took the bread and gave thanks for it, then He broke it! Peter was familiar with making mistakes. In the Bible we read of 16 times he messed up; 16 times he spoke of the suffering; but also 16 times he wrote about of the Glory! Come on now! Pastor Rick shared that the Lord spoke to him some time ago, telling him to share with the Body of Christ that “Until they understand the seasons of brokenness that come into their lives, they are never going to have the multiplication inside of their lives.” There is much to learn from Job and his wife! They lived through the brokenness of losing everything, including their 10 children, but God multiplied it ALL back to them! The blessings comes from the brokenness!
God has told us that this is a year of Kingdom Living and learning how to walk it out. Moses is a good example, as he learned to walk out Kingdom Living while leading the Israelites out of Egypt and to the Promise land. One thing we know about Moses, he was a worshipper of God! Moses made a time and a place where his only intention was to meet with his God, with reverence and honor, face to face! Now is a time when God is drawing people to Himself. He is calling to hearts, and our hearts need to respond in such a way that it builds relationship and brings supernatural understanding. We too need to take the time and make a place for Him, as Moses did; because God wants to meet with us, face to face!
Jesus told us, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Many of us face difficult situations in our families, health, finances, and sometimes all of the above. But we are to be of good cheer because He has overcome it all for us! As we keep our eyes on Him and Kingdom Living, we can do (and go through) all things, as He strengthens us! Tearsa shares her testimony of multiple incidents of trauma and crises, all in just one week for her family, and how God's sovereignty intervened! The Bible says we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. Tearsa’s testimony speaks to all of us, raising our faith and will bringing healing to all who need it!
God is a very generational God! His covenant is for Perpetual generations, and valid for all of time. In Genesis, He created man to reproduce and embrace the beauty of “family”, and pass that knowledge on through generations of knowing Him as their Father. He created us to actually be able to fellowship with Him, know Him up close and personal; and know all of His ways. Not only are we invited be a part of “His Family”, He wants us to know the inheritance He has offered to us, and be responsible to pass it on to the generations that come after us! Listen in to hear how our Liberty Family is doing just that!
The great awakening is happening NOW! Hungry hearts are acknowledging their lives are empty without Him. Jesus is our main focus once again. God is with us, but we must hunger and thirst to be with HIM! In so doing, Kingdom Living becomes “normal” to us, as we allow Holy Spirit to have His way in our hearts and our lives. Only then will we come before God with a spirit of humility, emptied out of ourselves. His desires become our desires! Holiness becomes our way of being! Hosting the Holy Spirit inside of us causes Heaven to melt with earth! The time is now!
Do you know what Braxton Hicks are? They are “pre-labor” contractions, the tightening in the abdomen that comes and goes before a woman goes into labor. They are contractions of “preparation” for birth that tone the muscles in the uterus and help prepare the body for delivery. With them, comes some discomfort and wondering of how the actual birthing process is going to go. They bring Expectancy! The people of God are “pregnant” with fulfilling the purposes of God! The “spiritual” Braxton Hicks have started!
In our everyday living, we tend to focus on the “natural realm”; what we see, what we hear around us, and our circumstances. Kingdom Living requires us to intentionally set our eyes on the things of the Spirit; on what God is saying and doing around us! Eric uses scripture and a great baseball analogy to help us to not only focus on the spiritual realm, but to “engage” in the things of the Spirit. That’s Kingdom Living!
We all have Kingdom assignments to fulfill on the earth. We are here to build His Kingdom and make Him known, and He has given us powerful tools to do it! Pastor Dawn reveals a personal revelation from Scripture on two specific tools (weapons) God has provided for us to live victorious lives, overcome on the earth, and succeed in our Kingdom assignments!
God is moving across the world! Listen as Pastor Dawn and her special guests reflect on their recent trip to Cambodia for the Centennial Celebration of the Church in Cambodia, 1923–2023. David and Muriel Ellison, were the first missionary couple in Cambodia 100 years ago and God is still moving in mighty and powerful ways in this once completely Buddhist nation. Over 300 thousand now call themselves follows of Jesus Christ because of one couples yes. To God Be the the Glory!
Last week we learned why we fast and what it looks like in our lives. It’s one way of us cleansing ourselves to be an effective conduit for God’s love, mercy and power to spring forth on the earth! This week Pastor Dawn revealed the blessings and the promises that we receive from our Father in Heaven because of our time of fasting unto Him. In our Table Talk, we discussed how fasting affects us and how we need to continue to be focused on the things that will secure us in our Kingdom Living moving forward in 2023!
Why do Christians fast at the beginning of each year? What are they fasting for? What are they fasting from? What does that look like in real life? Does it really make a difference? Is there an impact on their lives? What does God say about fasting?Today’s “Table Talk” answers all of these questions and more from firsthand experience!
When we enter a new year, it is good to reflect on our lives and seek God in a deeper way. At Liberty Life Center we enter into 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. We pray to grow our spirit man while we are fast to “crucifying” our flesh, the part of us that wants to do what is should not do. When you are destroying your flesh your heart and your mind are more aware of what God is saying and doing and your spirit begins to rule and be in oneness with Holy Spirit. And then, as He speaks to you, you let Him have His way in every part of your heart! Listen to hear a teaching and testimonies of how God is moving and changing lives through Prayer & Fasting so far in 2023. It’s not too late to join us in our fast!
Pastor Dawn and a Panel of Liberty Life Center Members share their faith raising testimonies and speak with authority from the Word of God on the Kingdom Principles of First Fruits Giving and Seed Time & Harvest. Whether it is giving of your Time, Energy, Talents or Finances, their personal encounters prove out the Word of the Lord and the confirm that we can not out give God! Amen!
This is no better day to worship Jesus than on Christmas Day to celebrate His birth! Pastor Dawn shared beautiful insights from the Christmas story of our dear Savior’s birth. She shared what He meant to His mother, Mary, and those who were there to experience the miracle of His birth with the understanding of who He was and or Him leaving Heaven to come to earth as a helpless child, dependent on His creation, so that one day He would give His life for us all on a cross. There is no greater love story told! Listen in as Pastor Dawn, and others, share what Jesus means to them personally, as we remember Him and all that He has done. Enjoy!
This past Sunday Holy Spirit was released into our atmosphere to join us to our King – Jesus – Wonderful, Counselor, and Almighty God! Holy Spirit is being released so we can join Him in what He is doing. We have been invited to be a part of His perfected Kingdom, and all of its benefits, to join with Him and all of His glory as our King. We must keep pressing on with the truths that have been released to us. We need to keep Reaching, Responding and taking Risks as we continue to shine and capture the attention of others so that He can capture their hearts, just as He has captured ours. We need to shine for Him… for THEM!
As 2023 approaches, many in the Body of Christ are beginning to understand that we will be able to just “get by” as we have in the past. It’s time for us to be different. We must align ourselves properly to partner with Jesus in the greater things that He is bringing. God is making it very clear that He has plans for us that will require us to be properly aligned with His heart and His ways. Jesus is our example. He was the most aware of how needy He was for His heavenly Father’s presence and heart in order to fulfill His Father’s Will on the earth. Like Jesus, we need to be REACHING for, and RESPONDING to, the Father’s Heart. Only then will we willing and able to take the necessary RISKS to advance His Kingdom on the earth!
Jesus has provided Heavenly places for us to dwell in Him that we have access to whenever we press into Him with worship that is filled with honor, adoration and complete surrender. This is the place where we find “Oneness” with Him. Where our hearts become one with His heart, and our desires become His desires as we give ourselves over to Him completely, body soul and spirit. Listen in to our service today and join us for a time of Heavenly Worship that transcended us from the natural to the supernatural. To a dwelling place of holiness and His sweet presence, that led to a place of humility and a shift in our mindsets from ourselves and our circumstances to Him and His desires, and to those that He loves.
As we move into 2023 we must realize that WE need to move forward with the heart of God to reach those around us. He has told us, “There is no time to waste!” All GAs we move into 2023 we must realize that WE need to move forward with the heart of God to reach those around us. He has told us, “There is no time to waste!” All God needs is our YES! And then for us to do something out of the box for someone else, to draw them to Him. It is time to stop centering on ourselves! This is discovery time. To see God’s heart, we must move with the relationship we have built with God and trust Him as we step into the unknown to reach the broken. It is time to jump into the river with, and be empowered by, the Spirit of God and be those that participate in the move with God, NOT spectators on the side line. It’s Go Time!od needs is our YES! It’s Go Time!
There is a greater Red Wave happening than what you have been seeing and hearing about on the news channels over the past few weeks! God is on the move and He is taking His Ekklesia forward with Him to produce the real Red Wave! In our Liberty 2022 Prophetic Word, He said: “I am escalating My Church’s influence against the plots and schemes of the enemy. You are the voices that will bring about the needed change in many areas. The world is a different place, but do not think it strange. See it as an opportunity.” God wants His Church to realize that Time has already shifted! You are already walking forward whether you realize it or not. It’s time to be intentional, to be empowered with the truth of who you are and join in Him in what He is doing on the earth to bring about the REAL Red Wave. There is no time to waste!
Jesus explained to His disciples that He and the Father were One! He answered Phillip in John 14:8 stating, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father”. Jesus did nothing that He did not see or hear the Father instructing Him to do. He and the Father had perfect “Seamless Oneness”! He also explained that He had to go away to prepare a “place” for them (and us) to “dwell”. Pastor Dawn reveals that Jesus is not just the way for salvation, He is also the way through which “dwelling places in heaven” have been made that we can experience and operate from, NOW! Jesus paid the price for us to operate from a different kingdom. From these dwelling places we are able to do “the Greater Works” spoken of in John 14:12. And doing these works was not a suggestion, they are to be a part of our everyday life. Hallelujah! This is part of our inheritance!
Pastor Dawn and her daughter, Tearsa, work together to bring a revelatory teaching gleaned from the conference of International Gathering of Apostles & Prophets at Christian International. They reveal how God has used the chaos of the past few years to ready us for this new season of time. The Holy Spirit is imparting the season of “Active Christians” to bring forth the new He has planned for this time frame of history. The Father has the keys for this time and He is releasing fresh strategies so we can rise to do the exploits. God is going to do great things through surrendered individuals that will understand that their availability is more important than their natural ability!
Often, in the middle of our doing “life”, things happen that provide us with a tremendous opportunity to approach Jesus and just say: ”I’ll do whatever You want me to do. What ever You want me to do!” At the wedding, Mary, the Mother of Jesus knew that if the servants obeyed the Word that Jesus spoke and filled the jars with water, a miracle would happen! Mary knew it. She expected the miracle to happen! We don’t always find ourselves in that level of expectation. But as this year, 2022, comes to an end, the Father is demanding us to to come into this “position” of expectancy, because it is necessary for what He is going to do in this coming year!
God gave David the sling to kill his enemy, and we too have already been given what we need to beat the enemy in our lives. We only need to recognize what God has put in our hands. It is already in our possession. If we only use what God has already given us to fight our battles we will be victorious. Now we must spiritually prepare! We must take time to prepare ourselves to use what He has put in our hands. How? Get on our knees. Get on our faces. Use our scriptures. Only then we will be ready to defeat the enemy on every side! But it’s doesn’t stop there. We need to “box out” and “attack the attack!” And then we must hold our Territory! Listen to find out how!
The Church is meant to be more than a meeting place, a four-walled box that gives out some nourishment for those that come to meet week after week and then live satisfied with just that. Satan wants to make it a place of comfort and a place to receive just enough nourishment to be satisfied and in a state of complacency. We as Christians need to know that the Church isn’t just a church! God intended for US to be the Church. But in order us to be the living Church of God, we must remove what has occupied the “inside” that is not of God, and make room for what He wants to fill us with and for all of the new occupants He wants us to bring into His Church family! It’s time to clean out the box! It’s time for Revival!
Seed Time and Harvest is never about us, it is always a demonstration of God. It demonstrates His character, His nature, His love, and His ability to create. It is a Kingdom Principle that God set in place to demonstrate our faith in Him, to create a hope for others in Him, and show our obedience to Him. Our faithfulness to participate and activate His principle of seed time and harvest is another way for us to show God honor and glory. When we as believers choose to operate in seed time and harvest by faith, we are pleasing Him with our faith. And it has the power to change our circumstances and the circumstances of those around us. Listen to learn how!
We know the book of ACTS starts with Jesus preparing His disciples for the Kingdom of God. He knew they had to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus had been operating in the power of the Spirit and demonstrating Kingdom for them. Now they had to bring forth the real reign that was needed to make a difference. The reign of the Holy Spirit. It was the Spirit INSIDE of them and HIS power demonstration that gave them the edge to change the world. That is what happened when the most famous “THIS IS THAT” moment of all time took place, when Peter recognized the fulfillment of Joel 2:28, the Spirit being poured out on all flesh. Peter was operating in kingdom insight and kingdom reality! We too are supposed to operate in the kingdom of God, with kingdom insight and kingdom reality of the “This is that” moments that are happening all around us. Listen as brothers & sisters in Christ share their “This is that” moments, so that you too will recognize and see yours!
When Jesus left His disciples to return to His Father in Heaven, He was faithful to fulfill His promise of sending the helper, His Holy Spirit, who manifested on the earth by living in the disciples and enabling them to be the reformers that were needed for their time. These disciples would be not only be responsible for preaching, and miracles, but some would be responsible for writing the Word of God that we call THE BIBLE. That was the time that the faithfulness of Holy Spirit would come to center stage! On the day of Pentecost, 3000 were added and the Church was born because Holy Spirit arrived on the scene. Just like the Apostles and the disciples of old, we as disciples of Jesus today have to recognize that it’s the move of Holy Spirit that will make all the difference in our ability to impact the world today. We must rely on the faithfulness of Holy Spirit!
Jesus told His disciples in John 4 that His food was to do the will of One who sent Him, and to “finish His Work”. God’s work here on earth started in Genesis and continues to this very day. His plan from the beginning was to let us humans know who He is and that He is real. He sent Jesus to show us how to live on earth and to let us know that because of His sacrifice we are saved from an eternity in hell. His plan all along was for others to know Jesus and His character, follow His ways as believers, and go out into the world and tell His story to make more disciples. He knew that you and I would one day be followers of His Son and that we too would carry on the Great Commission. He has equipped you to do all that He did on the earth. We need to Stay the course!
Jesus was always faithful to teach about the Kingdom of God. One of His purposes of coming was to demonstrate the kingdom of God and the defeat of the powers of darkness on the earth. He came to to shift the atmosphere and bring change to the mindsets of the many people who followed Him. He knew that they were going to be able to live differently after the law was completed through His own sacrifice on the cross. He was preparing their souls to receive pure salvation that would bring oneness with the Father again, so that they could fulfill their destiny of ruling and reigning on the earth and having full dominion over the enemy. He taught them how to partner with Holy Spirit and operate in power and authority. Jesus was faithful to teach them, and is still teaching us today, how to be the conduit through which He could display the heart of the Father’s will here on earth. As we partner with Jesus today, we too are able to defeat the enemy in our lives and the lives of those around us, and advance the Kingdom of God through the love and authority of the Father.
The weighty “Kavod” glory and presence of our God entered in during our Worship service this past Sunday! The Hebrew word “Kavod”, spoken about in the Old Testament, refers to the “glory of the Lord”; the weighty and heavy presence, both physically and figuratively, of God. The Kavod glory of the Lord often comes when His people worship Him in Spirit and in Truth, and when we seek Him and press in to Him , and acknowledge Him as the “main thing” in our worship and in our lives! He comes in such a way that some may be uncomfortable, if you are not used to His weighty presence. But it is an opportunity to go deeper and lean into His heart to be one with Him in the moment, to be saturated by Him and His glorious presence. It is a place that comes from being with Him in a deep, sweet place, causing us to be even hungrier for Him because we recognize even more the “value” of Him. He draws us into this place of His presence so that we are in “awe” Him, causing us to fully acknowledge Him and desire Him, all while He is taking the time to acknowledge us, individually, and allow us to feel His desire for us! There is nothing like an encounter with Him! It is the Faithfulness of our God, of Jesus! And these are the encounters where healing comes in, freedom comes in, victory comes in. Encounters that you will never forget and that cause you to never be the same!
Our God is so much about generations that He didn’t send anyone other than His own precious Son to return us to oneness with Him. What a great God! And what a great way to define how much our God is a God of legacy by securing our promised inheritance from generation to generation. His faithfulness and truth endures to all generations. He was faithful to make Himself known to us through the love of sending His son and He continues to advance His kingdom through His love. We must be a people that does the same. We must be a people that utilizes our God given rights that align with the Word of God to make the impact needed on the next generations. In many ways the World, and America, has lost its’ way from God. We are responsible to instill in the next generation the truth, the love and the righteousness that Jesus died to give us. We need to advance His kingdom by displaying and standing for righteousness and God’s heart for America, for the Nations, and for the Generations to come!
Jesus was faithful to teach as none other! He operated outside of what had been in the past and was bringing the present truth. He operated in the authority of heaven, on purpose. By doing so, He broke through the traditions of the time to change the mindsets of the time, so that when He paid the price for all sins they would understand that all who believe in Him would be able to experience a “heart to heart” living relationship with the Father. Lovers of God’s will, that are hungry enough to resist the normal, will rise above the normal and operate in the authority they have been given by the trinity! They will walk in the impossible like Jesus and bring forth all that heaven has made available to those who believe, to bring forth what is needed in the moment to change lives for Jesus! Are you hungry enough to bring the change?
Liberty’s LIMITLESS Youth Group share their testimonies and God Encounters after returning from The RAMP Youth Summer Camp in Hamilton, AL; Karen Wheaton’s Ministry and School of Ministry for young people. Listen as they pour out their hearts with transparency and share how God exposed the “strongman” in their lives and set them free form Idols blocking them from fully worshipping God, fully following Jesus with their whole heart, and fully experiencing the the freedom that Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross provided for them. Experience freedom for yourself and target the idols in your own life that are blocking you from the fullness of worshipping God and receiving all that He has for you!
In the mind of the Father, Jesus was to become the sacrifice that would cover the sins of every person who acknowledged Him and received the power of His blood, reconciling man to God. Jesus was obedient to do His commission even before the foundation of the world. He came to earth as a man, in the flesh, was virgin born, lived a sinless life, and died with all of our sins on His back. He took the stripes for our healing. Shed his blood to cover our sin, enabling us to be reconciled to the father. He defeated the enemy. He made us family. He empowered us. He gave us the keys of the kingdom of God. He has loved us through every event in life. He now sends us out to be effective overcomers. He loves our children and our children’s children and will remain faithful to them. He gave us promises that can never be broken. He promised us a future. All that He has done and is doing points to the fact that His faithfulness is still available and present for us today. You can encounter Him and His faithfulness today by being with him and experiencing the glory of his presence.
With so much darkness and wickedness apparent all over the world, it is easy for Christians to fall into the trap of believing that evil is overwhelming. But the reality is that Jesus is overwhelming! Celebrating Christ is how we remind ourselves that Jesus is the light of the world, that He is the great one, and that all evil will come under His authority at its end. We can celebrate Christ in a personal way like Martha did serving Him and Mary did with the perfume in John 12; and we can celebrate the journey Christ has us on unlike the vineyard workers in Matthew 20. Celebrate the ultimate victory and lordship of Jesus Christ without fear and without reserve! For if we don’t, the stones will cry out like Jesus said in Luke 19:40. Don’t let a stone take your place in the Celebration of Jesus!
Our God is Faithful! Many have not understood the faithfulness of God. Even if we are not always faithful, He is! God has lasting loyalty in relationships. He never gives up on us. He has provided Holy Spirit to us as the vehicle with a driver that gives us the ability to live above the natural realm as we access our faith in His promises. Whatever we are doing in life, we should be doing it as unto the Lord. If we are doing it as unto the Lord, we are building His kingdom. His favor is upon us to succeed. Our God is faithful to give us even outrageous skills to set us apart and to make us successful and productive as we obey Him and build His kingdom. He is never failing, always with us and forever faithful!
Because we are living in a very unsure times, we need to continue to increase our Faith! In this inspiring message we learn that we will be able to increase our faith as we increase our understanding and knowledge of God’s Faithfulness to us. The faithfulness of God is one of His richest treasures we have access to in our life. His faithfulness has no beginning and no end! So, we need to look as far as we can imagine at what we “can’t” see, and imagine it as what we “can” see! Our faith will prove His faithfulness goes beyond even what we can imagine or even think!
Faith is not simply an intellectual acceptance of facts, but instead it is knowing what the Word has to say about something and placing our trust in who God is and what God has said. We have the entire Bible and all the promises in the book, but if we don’t realize what it is really there for, we may just consume it on our own terms, and be satisfied with one dining experience instead of the life long feast God provided for us. We must trust in the truth of the Bible. Then we will have faith that pleases Him because we are properly utilizing what He gave His Son for us to operate in. Faith that results in Miracles!
When we gave our heart and life to God, we received the Holy Spirit and his guidance. What often happens is the enemy comes through circumstances and disappointments to get us off course. The reality is that many times people are “stalled” in the place of what their natural, physical fathers did or did not do. This too acts as a significant distraction away from the Father’s love. We must recognize that God – the same God that created the universe and created each one of us in our mother’s womb is, in fact, our Daddy. We must have a revelation of this because it is vitally important to be who God made us to be so that we are mature influencers for future generations.
Moses was a spiritual father to Joshua and showed him the way to build relationship with the Father in Heaven. But it was Joshua’s willingness to show-up, grow-up and power-up that gave him the ability to be the man of God and “Father” needed to lead the next generation into victory and their God given promises. In this Fun Father’s Day message we learn that as long as you are willing to step up to the plate, it doesn’t matter if you hit the ball, make it to first, second or third, the Father celebrates! Even if you strike out, the Father is still proud of you for being willing to get in the game. Listen in as Farrell shares the story of Joshua and a baseball analogy to encourage men of all ages to “Show-up, Grow-up, and Power-up” to be the difference!
The disciples heard Jesus say He only did what His Father told Him to do and spoke only what the Father told Him to speak. It was important for them (and us) to know that Jesus and the Father are ONE! Jesus was giving them spiritual insights of a greater truth. It takes relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost for us to see the results that only They can bring. If we love Him, we will choose to obey Him, and every time God asks us to give more of ourselves to Him, for His work, it is for the benefit of others. Our faith, our love for Him, and our YES will bring the connection to Him in the Spirit for others.
Without faith, you will operate only in the natural! God has given us a measure of faith, but He designed us to continue to grow. As we continue to grow in faith, we must also seek first the spiritual kingdom and His righteousness! We honor Him by operating on earth with faith, in His will as it is in heaven, so that we bring His Kingdom realm to earth. Our faith increases by how we exercise it. It takes practicing maturity and taking charge of your own life by choosing to operate in a way that pleases the Father to expand His kingdom from heaven to earth. It’s time to live by faith in the Super-Natural!
Our familiarity of the supernatural can diminish our expectancy and joy of being provided for by God, but God has already made provision for restoration. In our biggest hour of need, if we give to Him, He will bring about the supernatural! He is bringing back our Joy, our Faith and our Reality to the Blessings! He is calling us back into active service. It’s time to get excited about what He has already done, so that we will get excited about what we are going to do! The world needs a “one-on-one” encounter with God and God wants to use us to bring it by giving Him our All!
Pastor Dawn releases a “now” Prophetic Word of the Lord, encouraging us to “Trust Him in all things, even the Impossible”; and then introduces Jonathan Farrell, a beloved spiritual son and Elder of Liberty Life Center, who shares on the provision and protection of the Father through the table He has set before us! Jonathan sets the stage through deep revelation and history of Psalms 23:5 before sharing his experiences and testimonies from others who recently witnessed the Father’s Love first hand in a powerful move of God when they were ministering together with Prophetic Words, Words of Knowledge and the Gift of Healing while in the wonderful nation of Brazil with Randy Clark and the Global Awakening Team.
Pastor Dawn has been revealing deeper foundational truths on Faith. We learned last week that every person has been given a portion of faith, enough to throw a mountain into the sea! The foundational truth today is that “when you obey the ridiculous, you empower the miraculous”. Elijah was not the only prophet in the land, but he was the prophet God was calling upon to listen and obey the ridiculous. Elijah did not question God because he knew God! Faith comes from relationship with God and believing Him at His word. Today, God is looking for the ones that will hear Him and obey the ridiculous…to release the miraculous!
Last week we learned that Jesus won against the enemy in the wilderness every time by speaking the Word of God with Faith! We have all been weaponized by the Word, just like Jesus! We must understand that we must have Faith in God and in His Word – and that comes from relationship with Him. Romans 12:3 tells us that EVERYONE has been given a measure of Faith by God. And Faith can grow! Jesus compared the Kingdom of Heaven to a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows and multiples into vast fields and huge trees that provide shelter, shade and refuge! This is how we are to operate and grow. God has promises for us in every area of our lives. All we need is the faith of a mustard seed to see all of His promises come to pass in our lives and the lives of those around us!
Last week we learned that John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance, but Jesus’ baptism is a baptism of acceptance. It’s a baptism of Identity!
This week we learn that just like Jesus was accepted by the Father who announced Him from heaven immediately after He was baptized, God does the same for us! He calls us Sons & Daughters! However, the approval of God attracts the opposition of the devil. The Word of God tells us that the Spirit lead Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted. He faced every temptation, just like we do, yet without sin. When we received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we received His DNA and our true identity. Just as the devil came to tempt Jesus, he will do the same to us. Jesus didn’t just save us from hell; He saved us from losing to the devil’s plans! He equipped us to win in our wilderness experience! Jesus gave us everything we need to walk victorious in this life. Hallelujah!
John’s ministry was the transition from the Old Testament, represented by God dealing with His people physical to physical, under the law. John called people to repentance of their sins. When he saw Jesus coming to him to be baptized, he understood in that moment that they were both accomplishing something that had to be done. Jesus came to fulfill the law that was impossible for man to obey without the help of Holy Spirit and fire, bringing the ability for internal cleansing. God would not release Jesus into His ministry status until people’s hearts were prepared by repentance. In her Sermon, Pastor Dawn explains how John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance, but Jesus’ baptism was a baptism of acceptance!
Easter is a day of celebration! It’s the most important day in history because heaven always had a plan for us. That plan included us having relationship with the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. That is why Jesus came! His unconditional love was always drawing someone out of darkness and into His presence, so they would experience the change that only Jesus could bring. He had a plan to protect you, to deliver you, to prosper you, and to make you whole! Jesus was and is the HOPE of the world!
The people waved palm branches calling Him the kind of king they wanted, shouting: "Hosanna to the king!" The king that would do what they desired. They were looking with natural eyes. Jesus was looking at it all from a much bigger picture. Just over the horizon He was looking at the place called Calvary. Jesus came to show us a more excellent way, the way of RESOLUTE LOVE! To love others no matter how they responded, even unto death. He was the “visual message” of the Father’s love as He laid down His life. They were looking at the present, but Jesus was looking at the future. Eternity!
There is a cause to come into alignment with the Great Commission. We have entered into a season of greater understanding of the need for discipleship in the world today. When Jesus came to earth and began His ministry, He did so through discipleship. Discipleship occurs so that people can become believers through relationship. It is spending your life with others on purpose for the purposes of God, so that they may know Him and the power of the resurrected life.
As the Body of Christ, we are to make sure we don't just know Jesus, but that we are partnering with Him in action. That is our vision: Partnering with Jesus to continue His mission to disciple, empower and transform people, cities and nations!
We are living in a time when Jesus is desiring that His Bride become intentional about following Him and His directives. We separated into small groups and discovered how we could individually and corporately fulfill Jesus’ command to make disciples.
Understanding that God is always with us will help us to navigate through any hardship or trouble. With the example of Gideon and David, Pastor Dawn brings out how they encouraged themselves in the Lord and experienced God's faithfulness and victory.
Psalm 2 can be referred to when looking at the conditions in the world right now. Using the story of the three youth who were thrown into the fiery furnace in the Book of Daniel, Pastor Dawn encourages everyone to be established in our commitment to worship only the true God. He is looking for those who will not bow to the pressures of earthly kings, to not be intimidated, who will lay down their lives for Him and His Kingdom. Then we will see Heaven invade the earth, and the glory of God!
Sometimes we get "comfortable" in our walk with God. Our prayer life can become mundane repetition, or depleted by the many distractions. Life's circumstances can cause us to wander from our relationship with God. He has provided everything we need to stay in unison with Him - His Spirit, His Word, His gifts, and His armor. Salvation includes unity with God, and keeping in unity with one another brings the blessing.
Just like the woman who broke her alabaster box and poured out all of the precious ointment on Jesus was considered to be extravagant, God is raising up an extravagant church, who will be willing to pour out everything to worship Jesus, and pour out God's love and compassion all over the world.
Holy Spirit took over the service. You can learn and be encouraged and exhorted as you partake of this Holy Spirit explosion!
Using several examples from the Bible, Pastor Rick emphasizes that great miracles and breakthroughs come after a period of great pain. In each scenario, when the person adheres to God's principles, breakthrough comes. "Heaven's Trio" is GIVING, FORGIVING, and THANKSGIVING. Living by these standards results in blessing and multiplication ... to be in a position to bring blessing to others.
Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God." When we partner with Holy Spirit, He reveals Jesus to us; He reveals God's heart to us; He leads us; He helps us to love others; He transforms us to the image of Jesus on the earth, and He makes us one with them. Rom. 8:19 "For creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God." That's what God is doing in this NEW ERA!
God is moving upon the Church so we can be as Jesus was on the earth, showing the heart of the Father in real-time ... with manifestations. However, the manifestation that God intends His Bride to walk in cannot be realized unless we truly understand what God has provided for us as His chosen people.
