Don’t miss this episode where Gillian shares how Ayahuasca led her back to her true self and real recovery after a long struggle with addiction.
Even though she was already sober for some years, she didn’t feel better, she was still on heavy medications and struggling with personal relationships. But when you keep seeking, God will find a way for you and for Gillian that path was working with sacred plants.

This is my incredible story of healing and recovery from chronic pain, PTSD, addiction and anxiety. Western medicine completely failed me but I didn’t give up on myself and went to the Amazon jungle to find healing and answers. It is true that Ayahuasca helped me to heal, but there is no magic pill and my path was not as easy as you think. The biggest lesson I learned from this sacred plant that you can heal anything and the answer to any questions is love, that is our true nature.

Presently, Dr Scott offers Plant Medicine Retreats in the Amazonian rainforests of Ecuador. These retreats take place in a small, Kichwa indigenous community called Sacha Wasi Communidad, about 30 minute’s drive from Puyo where guests stay in simple, locally-constructed bamboo huts and participate in numerous rituals with medicinal plants, as well as daily hikes and music, ensuring a close connection with la Pachamama, our earth mother.
Here seekers can experience the healing power of ancestral master plants such as Ayahuasca, San Padro, Psilocybin, Sananga, Guando, Mapacho, Rape' and others.
Profits Support this Indigenous Community. Dr Scott works with this Kichwa tribe in numerous ways, and the profits gained from retreats are shared with these important partners to help improve the community infrastructure. New electrical power supply, water supply, hot water, laundry, refrigeration, and a community learning center with high speed internet and 4 computers are examples of recent improvements.
At the community, you are surrounded by nature. The village is located between two rivers and hikes in the surrounding areas take you to breathtaking waterfalls. This is an essential component to the retreat and healing process.
For the past 5 years, Dr Scott was the Senior Minister, Staff Psychologist and Senior Ayahuasca Facilitator at Soul Quest Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth in Orlando, Florida.
Soul Quest is considered to be one of the largest Ayahuasca churches in the United States and has served ayahuasca to over 20,000 individual members.
One of his achievements while at Soul Quest was the development of over 26 free online weekly pre & post-ceremony integration groups. Groups included psycho-spiritual integration, Zen Buddhist Meditation (taught by a former Zen Buddhist Monk). Psychedelics in Recovery Groups, A Course In Miracles Study Group, Bhagavad Gita Study Group, Jungian Group, Jungian Shadow-Work Group, Transformational Breathwork Group, Writing Circle, Buddhist Spiritual Studies, Support for First Responders, Motherhood group, Women's Only Group, Veterans group, and a weekly online Church service that received 1500 to 2000 weekly views.
Dr Scott left Soul Quest to pursue a deeper understanding of the ancestral plant medicines of the Amazon.

Please join us for this passion project to heal our relationship with the divine feminine and bring balance to our masculine and feminine aspects❤️ this practical workshop we will work together to bring healing into our life, our families and to all of our relations! When we come together, this healing is exponentially accelerated, that’s why we are creating this space.
To live a full life, it's so important we all take some time to explore this and address the wounds of the feminine aspect of our Being. The experience we have in the womb and at birth creates patterns and programming that stay with us for the rest of our life. Many of us experiences birth trauma while coming into this world. We experience these traumas at a soul level. These traumas cause a part of our soul to fragment off and this can manifest in a multitude of ways, such as:
Addictions Fear of rejection and abandonment Inability to start or finish projects Trust and anxiety issues Relationship issues Financial difficulties Low self-esteem and feelings of unworthiness Self-sabotage, self punishment Inability to open and receive abundance Inability to fully feel, sense, and enjoy life
The good news is that we can heal these wounds by addressing these traumas. We can recall these fragments of our soul. We can return to Wholeness.
In our workshop we learn about our connection to the divine feminine aspect. We explore some powerful tools such as shamanic journeying, guided meditation, prayer, breathwork and the power of community to heal together and to rewire old programs to create more wealth, health, and happiness in our lives.

Reuben Langdon is an international Stuntman, Actor, Filmmaker and Video Game Star whose work you can see in productions like Pirates of the Caribbean, the Power Rangers series, and the highest grossing film of all time, Avatar, where he was the stunt double of Jake Sully’s alien Avatar. Reuben shot to stardom in the video game world with leading roles as Ken Masters in Street Fighter and Dante in the Devil May Cry franchise. His film and television career has given him the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names on the silver screen, from actors Jackie Chan and Andy Serkis, to directors James Cameron, Peter Jackson, and Steven Spielberg.
It was while working on James Cameron’s Avatar that Reuben had his first UFO sighting and this sent him in the direction of UFOlogy and the paranormal. For over a decade now Reuben Has been researching the Extra-Terrestrial phenomenon. He is the host of the popular TV show Interview With E.D. About Carlos Tanner – Ayahuasca Foundation
Carlos was born and raised in the United States and has degrees in both art and philosophy. He moved to Iquitos, Peru, in 2004 and lived with his first teacher for four years before creating the Ayahuasca Foundation in 2008. In 2017, he opened the Riosbo Retreat and Research center and began hosting medical research in 2018. The stage 1 study completed at the end of 2019 and will be published in the journal Frontiers of Psychiatry in July. Carlos appeared in the Netflix series Down to Earth with Zac Efron in 2020 and continues to offer unique educational courses and healing retreats as well as host important research into the traditional use of ayahuasca and plant medicine.

The Red Road or the Red Path is the Native spiritual path. Walking the Red Road means living in the moment connected to all that surrounds us, respecting all of our relations and Mother Earth and Father Sky. It means finding a balance between and attending to our four sides: spiritual, physical, mental and emotional. It means taking care and respecting ourselves and the Creator. It means being thankful for what we have, to only take what we need and to give back. To give back to those around us and to the spiritual world. And to remember where we have been, to remember and honor our ancestors. It is walking in the right path of life, where we do the right thing even in hard times.
The shamanic worldview and the western mindset
- shamanism: everything is conscious, connected and alive therefore everything is sacred, there are many unseen realms (spirit world), awareness of natural cycles and rhythms, importance of balance, harmony, peace (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual), integrated, spiritually focused
- western worldview: focuses on the material aspect of life, achievement oriented, competitive, mind/ego centered, technical, theoretical, scientific approach based on logic and reason, disconnected from nature and real community, lack of spirituality in many cases, feeling lost.
