Our walk is compared to a mountain climb. Some quit, camp and climb. The climber doesn’t quit. He’s determined, diligent and is not deterred by obstacles or tough times. He doesn’t faint or lose heart. He refuses to give up.
At Christmas, we tend to give the perfect gift to our friends and loved ones; but what can we give to Jesus on HIS birthday? He made heaven and earth and all that in them is; what can we give the King of kings? Discover more about what we can give Him today, and every day.
Though Christmas comes just once a year, the message of Christmas should be evidently lived in and through our lives. The incarnation of the Son of God is one of the three most important historical events to touch the realm of humanity. Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season, and He is the reason we can have a relationship with God.
Paul dealt with the strife and contentions existing at Corinth by teaching on divine love. The goal was to change their thinking by explaining how love acts. Discover more about agape love in “The Love Chapter” as we study 1 Corinthians 13.
God has revealed His love for man by sacrificing His son so that even the vilest sinner can be saved. This act of love should motivate everyone to live for Christ and to love others as He loved us. Love is the most powerful force there is.
As required in Ephesians 5:1-2, Christians are to imitate God and walk in love after the example of Christ. We are to avoid uncleanness, impurity, the desire to have what belongs to another, foolish talking nor jesting and idolatry. Receive an understanding of being rooted and grounded in love.
1 Corinthians 13 tells us there is nothing greater than love. Love motivated God to send Jesus; love motivated Jesus to die for us; love motivates us to live for Christ and it motivates us to love one another. Receive an understanding of how love is the more excellent way and walking in love promotes God's glory.
We should always have a thankful heart toward God. Receive an understanding of thanking God for His presence, power, peace, promises, provision and protection.
Our Father wants us to be thankful for all that He has done for us and given us in Christ. 1Thessalonians 5:18 states, "in everything, give thanks..." Why? When people give thanks, great things can follow.
2 Timothy 3:1 states that in the last days perilous times shall come. Receive an understanding of why we should give thanks for Divine Protection. God has promised supernatural protection for all who dwell in the "SECRET PLACE" of "ABIDING IN CHRIST."
There are so many reasons why we give thanks to God: for who He is; for His goodness and works; for Life; for being our Redeemer and Savior; and for His faithfulness and loving kindness. We should also give thanks because God commands it. 1Thessalonians 5:18 tells us this is His will. Do you give thanks to God in everything?
There are many reasons to give thanks to God on a daily basis. Our study is intended to inspire us to appreciate who God is, help us to develop a grateful heart and to become more thankful for all He has done for us in Christ.
Receive an understanding of how, in Christ, we possess all we need to succeed as individuals and collectively as Christians.
Once saved does God require anything of us? Is there something we must do other than receive His grace? Does it matter how we live? According to 2 Peter 1:8-15, there are certain things we must add to our faith in order to ensure our success in living a life that glorifies God. Receive an understanding of what "these things" are and what they guarantee when active in our lives.
Before his rebellion, Adam was a perfect creation of God. The fall affected all three dimensions of man’s being: His spirit was separated, his soul was darkened and his body became mortal and subject to death. God’s love for man moved Him to send Heaven’s best to restore man’s lost relationship with God. Jesus accomplished what He came to do. Now, everyone in Christ has a new identity. Our words are important to God and have an impact on our lives now and eternally. We all must decide what we will believe. Receive an understanding of the truth about the "Word of Faith."
Psalms 11:3 asks, "If the foundations of a Godly society are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" Receive an understanding of how we must be Prayer Focused in today's world by appealing to the highest powers for help and to pray with pure, passionate, and persistent hearts.
In Luke 18:8, Jesus asks will He find faith on earth when He returns. This is a good indication that faith will probably be scarce. Receive an understanding of the importance of faith, the levels or faith, and how faith is made perfect as told in James 2:20-22.
We all a life to live and a life mission to fulfill. We can choose to use our own powers to succeed or we can be fill with the Holy Ghost--as Jesus was and he commanded His Disciples to be--and allow the power of God to assist us in living and fulfilling our life mission. Receive an understanding of Success Principle #9--The Spirit of Baptism.
There is a difference between preaching and teaching in the Divine calling--preaching proclaims the good news, teaching informs of how to respond to the good news. Receive an understanding of The Divine Call and what Abraham's Faith teaches us.
The mind is our control tower as our thinking directs our actions and determines who we are. If our input is negative; our output is destructive. We all have a choice to make--choose God's thoughts or be programmed by the enemy of our souls. Receive an understanding of Success Principle #8--Control our thought life.
Israel chose to wander in the wilderness instead of entering in and enjoying the promises of God and living victorious successful lives. Receive an understanding of Success Principle #7--to wholly follow God.
Psalms 103:20 tells us how the Angels do God's commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His Word. Receive an understanding on the facts about Angels and how they respond to the word of Faith.
We fast to humble ourselves before God and to experience a deeper fellowship with Him knowing He resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. Although Scripture does not command Christians to fast, it does present it as something that is good, beneficial and profitable. Receive an understanding of fasting and what it does and does not accomplish.
Hebrews 6:12 states that the just shall live by faith and Hebrews 11:6 tells us how, without faith, we can't please God. Receive an understanding of how we can learn faith by observing those who live the Word of Faith.
Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement is the holiest and most sacred day of the year for practicing Jews. The atonement was made to cleanse the people from sin. This was a temporary foreshadowing of the true Lamb of God who would take away the sin of the world. Receive an understanding of how Jesus-- becoming the ultimate Day of Atonement--has given us access to God's holiest presence.
We all have a destiny and a destination. Our destination is where we'll end up and our destiny is the trip along the way. In 2 Timothy 4:6-8, you will see Paul understood his destiny and destination. Hebrews 12:1-4 tells us we all have a race to run and a course to finish. We succeed by looking to and considering Jesus and we must resist the temptation to get off course.
Do you believe in your Words? Scripture has much to say about our words and the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:21 says we will experience the fruit of our words whether good or bad and Proverbs 6:2 says we can be held captive by our words. In Matthew 12:31-37, Jesus taught the importance of words and Joshua 1:8 tells us our words can produce failure or success. But, God desires we speak right things.
Christ should always be the object of our faith as it was for Paul and those who walk by faith. We are to follow those who succeeded. Receive an understanding of what it means to live the life of faith.
Christianity is a love relationship between the Father and His children. We must get to know God personally by developing a proper attitude toward His Word and being led by the Spirit. And we must always walk in love. 1 Corinthians 13:8 tells us love never fails. If Agape is the controlling motive of our lives and regulates our Christian walk, we will never fail.
In Jeremiah 30: 12-17, the Israelites were under divine judgment because of their disobedience. Although, there was no cure for their condition from a human standpoint, God said He would provide what was impossible from any other source--healing and restoration. Receive an understanding of how Jesus came to restore, heal and set the captives free.
The enemy has an agenda involving stealing our identity, killing our hopes and dreams, and destroying our walk with God. But, Jesus came with another agenda--to give abundant life and restore all that the enemy has taken from us. Receive an understanding of how to recover all that the enemy has set out destroy by discovering God's promises, praying, pursuing and being persistent until victory comes.

Man's fall and separation from God is the cause of all disorder in our lives, government, our nation, and in the world. Receive an understanding of how Jesus has restored our temples through his resurrection.

Our gender is a part of our created identity--God's sacred creation--and it is unchangeable. Satan is the cause of gender confusion, but Jesus is the healer of gender confusion. Receive an understanding of why "Freedom Needs Limits".
Some people ask what's the point of prayer if God's already in control of everything. We pray as a way to serve God. Receive an understanding of what The Word tells us as to why we should always be in prayer.
Receive an understanding of why ONLY God--our creator and redeemer--has the right to set limits and establish boundaries in our lives, what some of the consequences are when we ignore these limits, and exactly why He has limits and boundaries for us to follow.
To be with people of like-precious faith is to be with those who love God, know God, believes God, serves God, and walk with God. We should all want to be filled with God's Glory--promoting His glory in our midst and among us. Receive an understanding of where we need to be in our walk with Christ to promote the Glory of God.

In Exodus 20, the first four commandments teaches us how to love God the way He wants us to love Him. The last six teaches us how to people the way God wants us to love them--and we loving people begins with honoring our parents as taught to us in Exodus 20:12. It's more fundamental than not killing, committing adultery, stealing, lying or coveting.
Receive an understanding of how we are to protect our thinking when we are told in Ephesians 4:27 to leave no room or foothold for the devil to have a place in our thoughts.
Receive an understanding of what we must have when we choose to follow the straight and narrow path of life Jesus spoke about in Matthew 7:13-14--Decision, Desire, Design, Determination, Discipline, and Diligence.
Receive an understanding of Psalm 91 as it is broken down into the following six sections: 1) Our dwelling place; 2) Our declaration; 3) God's deliverance; 4) Angelic help; 5) Victory over the enemy; 6) God's Promises.
There are two paths to follow in life--the path of the wise, or the path of the unwise. Jesus explains to us in Matthew 7:13-14 that wide and easy is the path to destruction and many will choose it, but straight and narrow is the path to life and few will choose the way. We must seek the narrow path and resist the broad.
In Kings 5:10-14, Naaman allowed his feelings of anger and rage to control his life and he walked away from a miracle, once he changed his mind, he received his miracle. There is an ongoing battle for control of our mind and only we can control our thoughts. Therefore, we must focus our minds on the right things--God, Jesus, the things above, the fruit of the Spirit.
Healing is a work of faith with power. Mark 5:25-34 teaches how faith healed a woman who had suffered for twelve years with the issue of blood. When we speak the Word over whatever our condition may be, faith will activate the power of God which will result in our being healed. Our faith keeps the healing anointing activated until the healing is complete.
God's work is a work of faith with power, or the Word and Spirit--and we have access to both. Through continued study of the Word and continued prayer, we keep our level of faith and power strong.
In the fifth series of Speaking Right Things, receive an understanding of how we are taken captive by the words we speak. Proverbs 15:1-4, explains how a wholesome tongue is a healing tongue that speaks truth and sound doctrine, but, a perverse tongue corrupts and defiles the hearts of the hearers.
If we don’t manage our feelings and emotions, they will rule us and keep us far away from the very presence, power and glory of God that He wants to reveal in our lives. When we feel discouraged and all alone in a situation, we need to encourage ourselves, inquire of the Lord what to do, and then act upon the direction He has for us.
In the fourth series of Speaking Right Things, receive an understanding of how Israel's speech kept them from the Promised Land for forty years, but God raised up a new breed of people under Joshua. Through meditation and being a doer of God's Word, Joshua brought the people out of bondage and into the Promised Land--God's promise fulfilled.
As stated in Genesis 1:27, we were created in the image and likeness of God--which means we have emotional feelings just as He has. God laughs, has compassion, gets angry and jealous; but, He has His emotional feelings controlled and managed. Because of man's Fall, our emotions must be controlled and managed or our enemy will use them to control our lives.
A Godly Mother knows who she is, her purpose in life, her mission and work, and that God will reward her efforts. Godly mothers have great influence on their children. In 2 Timothy 1:5, Lois and Eunice both greatly influenced Timothy's life and the foundation they laid impacted his life and ministry.
Before Jesus returned to Heaven, He gave a mandate to preach the Gospel to every creature because the Gospel is God's power. Receive an understanding of the importance of preaching the Gospel.
In the third series of Speaking Right Things, receive an understanding of how faith involves the heart and mouth being in sync; how our attitude towards God's Word determines the place He holds in our lives; and how meditating on God's Word is the key to developing the kind of faith that moves mountains and enables us to overcome the world.
We're here to stand in the gap. You have a plan for this nation. We are here to humble ourselves and pray. We declare Jesus is Lord. President, Congress, Senate, Media, Hollywood, pornography. God's purposes fulfilled.
The enemy will use natural reports, adverse circumstances and our emotional feelings to dictate to our speech. He knows by getting us to complain and murmur about things, he can control our lives. God wants us to agree with His Word so He can bless us, deliver us, heal us and meet all of our needs. One way we agree with God is by speaking right things
The objective of the Christian life is to have the life of God within to manifest without. To achieve success, we must manage our emotional feelings. If we don't, instead of releasing the life of God through our emotions, we'll release the character of a soul that's under the influence of darkness. Receive an understanding of how we can manage our emotional feelings..
As believers, we have the privilege of declaring who we are, what we have and what we can do, all because of what Jesus did for us in His substitutionary work on Calvary. Jesus shed His blood and became what we were to make these confessions possible. He is the High Priest of our confession and longs to hear our declarations of faith so He can present them to the Father on our behalf.
As it goes with our soul--which is our mind, will, and emotions, it goes with our well being. In order to prosper in our Christian walk, the mind needs to be renewed, our will needs to be established and our emotions need to be held in check or managed. Receive an understanding of breaking emotional strongholds.
Jesus succeeded in fulfilling the Abrahamic Covenant, in destroying the devil and his works, and in restoring man’s relationship with God. Now, we must be Born Again, receive the Holy Spirit and walk worthy of our calling in Christ..
Receive an understanding of how God forever defeated Satan through the process of the incarnation, the crucifixion, the resurrection and the coronation of Jesus--who conquered Satan for all of us.
We celebrate the greatest event ever to occur in the realm of human experience. An event so significant, it’s been referred to as the Greatest Working of God’s Mighty Power. An event so significant, without it, mankind is left in a state of hopelessness. The event being an Empty Tomb. Christ’s resurrection from the dead. An event that involved three powerful manifestations of God’s power according to Peter in ACTS 2:24,31.
The three crosses on Calvary were for Jesus, a sinner on one side and a sinner on the other side. They represented three choices: Redemption and suffering--a decision made by Christ; Rejection and scoffing--a decision made by one sinner; Reception and surrendering--a decision made by the other sinner. This is a representation of the ultimate choices we all must make and will affect how we live now and where we will spend our eternity.
The same attitudes that existed in the last week of Jesus' earthly ministry told in John 12:9-14, still exist today: Those who are only concerned about getting their material and external needs met; Those who want Christianity destroyed and uprooted from society; and Those who want to see and know what it truly means to be a follower of Jesus. How deep is your love for Christ?
There are several scriptures about Fasting and the importance of it in our lives as doers of the Word-- to ask for God's help; to express sorrow for sin; to obtain favor; to add sincerity to prayer; to rid ourselves of pride; to humble ourselves; to pray for the needs of others; to overcome temptation; or to activate the Spirit. Receive the blessing of an understanding about Fasting through God's Word.
Our heart's desire should be, to be filled with fresh oil daily. Receive an understanding of the need to maintain our zeal and spiritual fire and the scriptures Paul gave us with a list of commands to help keep us on track. Do you desire to be filled daily with fresh oil? Are you on fire for God?
Revelation 4 - 22, talks about the Rapture and hereafter. Receive a blessing in the teaching about the Heavenly Worship before God's throne, which is situated in Heaven; Jesus--the Lion of Judah--who prevailed in His earthly mission and is the only one worthy to loose the seals on the scroll needed to be broken to make way for His Second Coming.
In Acts 4:29-33, Great Power and Great Grace was among all of the multitude of the believers who prayed with one heart and one soul. The Holy Spirit is still moving with Great Power today as He did then. God wants us to be grounded and rooted in The Word and then invite the Holy Spirit to empower, lead and guide us and manifest His presence in and through our lives through gifts, signs, wonders and miracles. Prayer produces Power to save, heal and to transform.
James is considered to be the proverbs of the New Testament and provides practical wisdom for daily Christian living by outlining the faith life through genuine religion, genuine faith and genuine wisdom. He challenges all believers to "WALK THE WALK" and not just "TALK THE TALK," presenting 60 obligations in 108 verses. His epistle refutes the idea that one can continue in sin after conversion. He makes it clear that Christians who err from the truth endanger their souls.
Romans 5:17 states all power and authority has been given to one man--Jesus Christ. Jesus is the head of a new breed, appearing in the presence of God for us. By giving us the power of attorney, we have the right to release God's power in the problems we face in life.
All things were created by God with the capacity to hear and obey--bones, wind, trees, rocks, graves--all things. When we walk in holiness and pray in the Spirit, we generate His power through prayer--releasing that power with His Word. Instead of begging God to do something about our situation, He wants us to command the situation to line up with His Word. Jesus tells us in MT. 17:20, LUKE 17:6, and MK 11:23, all things will obey when we speak words of faith over it.
In Revelation 4:1, after Jesus had addressed the 7 Churches, He spoke with a voice like a trumpet saying, "Come up hither", which is described as the Rapture of the Church where we are caught up to be with the Lord. Receive the blessing of an understanding of the Rapture of the Church and living Rapture-Ready.
God holds all power and authority and by the Holy Spirit that lives in us, we have that power and authority over the enemy in our lives. Receive an understanding of how Dunamis Power (God's miracle-working power to save, heal, deliver, and protect) is always present, but can only be activated or received by our Faith in God. Is Dunamis Power activated in you life?
Laodicea -Apostasy Period 1900 - Present. This church was people driven, not Christ driven. In Rev. 3:14-22, Jesus said the Laodicea Church didn't know it was wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. He called them lukewarm and rather they'd be cold or hot. We are living in the Laodicea era today where people are professing Christ on Sunday, but living as if He doesn't exist Monday through Saturday. Do you know if you are lukewarm, self reliant, self-righteous and blind? Jesus is knocking, the time is short.
God's Power is Creative, Upholding, and Resurrecting. Receive a blessing in the understanding of how His power brought all things in heaven and earth into existence; how He sustains all things He created by the Word of His power; and how the Resurrection power is the highest level of His power. God does not want us to be ignorant of His Word or of His Power.
In Revelations 3:7-13, Jesus writes to the Church in Philadelphia--The Missionary Period, 1739-1900 A.D.--also meaning Brotherly Love. Like the Church in Smyrna, the letter reveals the kind of church God approves of. They received His unqualified praise and approval. As a church, we should take heed. As individuals, "He that hath an ear", should listen.
Are you demonstrating God's power when sharing the Gospel message with others? In Acts 17:22-34, as Paul set out to preach the Gospel in Athens, he tried using intellect to reach the people and the results were not as inspiring. But, in 1 Corinthians 2, when preaching the Gospel to Corinth, he went with a demonstration of the Spirit's power so that their faith would not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power.
In Revelations 3:1-6, Jesus writes to the Church in Sardis--The Reformation Period, which were known for its luxury and looseness with the reputation for apathy and immortality. They were overcome twice because of over-confidence and failing to watch. Jesus refers to these examples to encourage repentance and watchfulness. Just as today we must be watchful, remember, hold fast, repent, overcome and refuse to be defiled.
Fasting does not change God--as it says in Hebrew 13:8, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. It doesn't change the devil--he's mean whether we fast or not. Fasting changes us by positioning us to be used and blessed by God. Receive an understanding of the blessings of Fasting.
In Revelations 2:18-29, Jesus writes to the Church in Thyatira--Dark Ages, 538-1517 A.D., when the bishop of Rome was declared pope of the whole church. The church was commended for its works, love, service, faith and patience; but, was rebuked for its full-scale idolatry, immortality and tolerance for both. The false teachings of Jezebel were accepted by some and rejected by some. Both were addressed by Jesus.
Why do we Fast? To position ourselves to receive God's grace and because Jesus told us of the need to fast and pray. Fasting demonstrates humility,as spoken in James 4:6--God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. When we humble ourselves before God, pray, seek His face and repent; then He will hear us, forgive us and heal us. Receive a blessing in the understanding of the importance of why we Fast.
In Revelations 2:12-17, Jesus writes to the Church in Pergamos--Age of Constantine, 313-538 A.D. Pergamos, which means mixed marriage, was also known as the Age of Compromise. This was a period of moral and doctrinal corruption--when the Church married the world, of which Jesus was sorely displeased. Receive an understanding of what He had to say of their need to repent.
Fasting is a private discipline that produces open rewards. It is the refraining from food for a specific time for a specific reason or purpose. Do you know the real meaning of fasting? Receive an understanding of Isaiah 58:6-7, teaching about God's chosen fast and Isaiah 58:8-12, teaching about the true rewards of fasting.
In Revelations 2:8-11, John writes Jesus' letter to the church of Smyrna, which is under Roman persecution during the period 100-313 A.D. Christ makes references to death--His, theirs, and the second death. He speaks on how He knows their works, tribulations and poverty, but reminds them of their reward for being faithful unto death--the Crown of Life.
In Revelations 2 & 3, John was instructed by Jesus to write to the 7 churches that were geographically arranged on a mail route in Asia Minor during First Century A.D. The link between John's day and Christ's return is a prophetic time period pictured by the 7 church eras, describing the conditions and adjustments needed by each. The first letter was to the church of Ephesus during the Apostolic Period of 31-100 A.D. Receive an understanding of what Jesus had to say to the church in order to receive their reward--the Tree of Life.
