Doing life together with friends in a group will bring me success

Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 (NLT) - Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed.

Proverbs 27:17 (NLT) - As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.

Romans 1:12 (NCV) - I want us to help each other with the faith we have. Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you.

In a small group we can stand back-to-back and conquer

Ecclesiastes 4:10–12 (NLT) - If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.

Proverbs 16:18 (NLT) - Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.

Praying in agreement with a small group will bring miracle answers from God

Ephesians 6:18 (Message) - Pray for your brothers and sisters…Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.

James 5:16 (Message) - Make this your common practice…pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed…

Psalm 68:6 (GW) - God places lonely people in families…but rebellious people must live in an unproductive land.

Rebellious – to be stubborn and not willing to change

Hebrews 10:25 Easy - Some people have stopped meeting with the group of Christians. But that is not good. We should all continue to meet together. We need to help one another to be strong and brave.

be healed.”

Before she heard about Jesus…sickness, pain, alienated from people, lonely, no more

money…dominated her thoughts

After she heard about Jesus…decided to keep thinking… “I heard he heals everyone…if I touch his

garment, I will be healed

We have to Change our Meditation….from thinking about the pain, symptoms, limitations,

medical report…Instead…Meditate (keep thinking) on healing scriptures

Proverbs 4:20–22 (TPT) - Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay

attention to all that I have to say. 21 Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into

your spirit. 22 Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very

core of your being.

If the truth of God’s Word doesn’t change how you think… it won’t change how you live

LIVING WITH CONFIDENCE THAT HEALING BELONGS TO US

1 - Healing is connected to the “finished work of Jesus Christ”

John 19:30 (NKJV) - He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. .

Isaiah 53:5 (NIV) - He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the

punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Isaiah 53:10 (GNB) -The Lord says, “It was my will that he should suffer; his death was a sacrifice to

bring forgiveness…and through him my purpose will succeed.”

 Purpose = Forgiveness… and healing…….he knows we still live in a broken

world…sickness, disease, pain

Psalm 103:2–3 (NKJV) - Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all

your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.

1 Peter 2:24 (TNIV) - “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins

 If you can believe that you are saved, then you can also believe that you are healed

because both come from the same source and the same sacrifice.

2 - Healing is a manifestation of the goodness of God

Matthew 8:16–17 (NKJV) - And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our

infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”

Acts 10:38 (NKJV) - God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went

about doing good and healing all …

Matthew 14:14 (NKJV) - And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with

compassion for them, and healed their sick.

Matthew 8:2–3 (NLT) - “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.”

3 Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy

disappeared.

Hebrews 13:7 (NLT) – Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Think of all the good that has come from their lives, and FOLLOW the example of their faith.

Heb 13:17 TPT - Obey your spiritual leaders and recognize their authority,…it will benefit YOU when you make their work a pleasure and not a heavy burden

Hebrews 3:19 (GNB) – We see, then, that they were not able to enter the land (promise land),

Exodus 6:6–8 (NLT) – “‘I am the Lord. I will free you from your oppression and will rescue you from

your slavery in Egypt. I will redeem you with a powerful arm and great acts of judgment. 7 I will claim

you as my own people, and I will be your God… 8 I will bring you into the land I swore to give to

10 Spies Report – the promise land is amazing…..BUT!!!

Numbers 13:27–29 (NLT) – This was their report to Moses: “We entered the land you sent us to

explore, and it is indeed a bountiful country—a land flowing with milk and honey. Here is the kind of

fruit it produces. 28 But the people living there are powerful, and their towns are large and fortified. We

even saw giants there… 29 The Amalekites live in the Negev, and the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites

live in the hill country. The Canaanites live along the coast …”

Caleb – speaks in faith

Numbers 13:30 (NLT) – But Caleb tried to quiet the people as they stood before Moses. “Let’s go at

once to take the land,” he said. “We can certainly conquer it!”

10 Spies – speak in unbelief

Numbers 13:31–33 (NLT) – But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We

can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” 32 So they spread this bad report about

the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who

goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. 33 We even saw giants there…Next to them we

felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”

2 Corinthians‬

Unbelief speaks – “we are going to die and God doesn’t care”

Numbers 14:1–4 (NLT) – Then the whole community began weeping aloud, and they cried all night. 2

Their voices rose in a great chorus of protest against Moses and Aaron. “If only we had died in Egypt,

or even here in the wilderness!” they complained. 3 “Why is the Lord taking us to this country only to

have us die in battle? Our wives and our little ones will be carried off as plunder! Wouldn’t it be better

for us to return to Egypt?” 4 Then they plotted among themselves, “Let’s choose a new leader and go

back to Egypt!”

Faith speaks - “God is with us, we can take the land”

Numbers 14:6–9 (NLT) – Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb

son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. 7 They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled

through and explored is a wonderful land! 8 And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely

into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. 9 Do not rebel against the

Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no

protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!”

Results of Faith & Unbelief

Romans 10:17 (NKJV) - faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Hebrews 4:2 (NASB) – but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united

with those who listened with faith.

we have heard so that we do not drift off course.

Jesus was teaching his disciples about the extent of forgiveness and their response was

‘increase our faith!!’

Consider that Paul was a murderer.

By definition forgiveness means canceling a debt.

You don't have to pay me back.

Why does it feel like if we forgive that person it's letting go of the power we have over them?

pray for those who persecute you

If you're having a hard time doing that, then you may be struggling with unforgiveness or

bitterness.

Foolish – without anything, empty handed - without possessions, family, success…

How do young children HONOR MOM by obedience.

Honor means we show her value, respect and appreciation!

Jesus was obedient to his mom.

When a disciple criticized a woman …Jesus said leave her alone

Mark 14:6 Jesus said, “Let her alone; why are you bothering her and causing trouble? She has done a good and beautiful thing to Me.

Jesus said…Don’t be harsh towards your wife

Col 3:19 Husbands, love (be sympathetic) your wives and do not be harsh with them.

If the husband doesn’t honor his wife his prayers will be hindered. God doesn’t answer his prayers.

God does answer our prayers.

But God will not answer your prayers husbands.. if you don’t honor your wife. Without answered prayer your prayers are a waste of time

The Greek word honor means to greatly value her.

Let me ask you husband’s a couple questions

Do you recognize your wife for her great worth?

Do you reward your wife for her value to you?

Do you tell her how priceless she is?

And if you do, when was the last time you did that?

Husbands need to make a habit of daily praising their wife this shows them honor

God says if you don’t treat your wife in an understanding way-as the weaker vessel‘. God will shut your prayers off. God says I am not listening to you

Hope is a corollary to Vision, It gives us direction. It shows us the destination.

Godly wisdom is like my GPS, or my map. It helps me plot the way there.

Faith is the vehicle that takes me there.

Hope sustained with the Word of faith will result in the miracle

Hope delayed can hurt the heart and introduce doubt.

Proverbs 13:12

NKJV: Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

Sick: weakness and suffering

TPT: When hope's dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can be depressing. But when at

last your dream comes true, life's sweetness will satisfy your soul.

3 Things to protect our hope against:

a. Doubt

b. Unbelief

c. Hardened Heart

Doubt can lead to disappointment.

Disappointment can lead to Unbelief.

Unbelief can lead to a hardened heart.

a. Guard against Doubt

Doubt in Scripture typically involves questioning or wavering while still maintaining some level

of faith.

● Intellectual or emotional uncertainty while still seeking truth

● Often temporary and can coexist with faith

● Seen in biblical figures who still followed God despite questions

Examples: Thomas, John the Baptist, Father of the demonized child

b. Guard against Unbelief

● A willful rejection or hardening against divine truth

● Persistent resistance rather than honest questioning

This represents a more severe spiritual condition than either doubt or unbelief. It's characterized

by a deliberate, progressive resistance to God's truth that eventually becomes a fixed state of

spiritual insensitivity.

● It is having eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear

Examples: Pharaoh, the Israelites in the Wilderness, the disciples of Christ!

Mark 6:52 For they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.

Mark 8:17-18 Are your hearts hardened? Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you

not hear?

The Thought That "God Will Not Give Us More Than We Can Handle" Is Not True - He will not give us more than HE can handle

"We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you… We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same..."

We have to be careful, not to reduce God to our level of thinking.

[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present

your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your

reasonable service. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be

transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that

good and acceptable and perfect will of God. [3] For I say, through the grace

given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more

highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each

one a measure of faith.

The Greek word "metron" (measure) implies a determined extent or portion
"Pistis" (faith) in this context refers to both saving faith and the capacity for

spiritual trust/service

Faith is real, substantial, measurable, alive.

Even if all I have is a mustard seed of Faith, If I plant it (use it) it will

grow to mountain moving proportions!

[14-18] “It’s also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his

servants together and delegated responsibilities. To one he gave five

thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending

on their abilities. Then he left.......,’ [24-25] “The servant given one thousand

said, ‘Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that

you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might

disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money.

[26-27] “The master was furious. ‘That’s a terrible way to live! It’s criminal to

live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less

than the least? The least you could have done would have been to invest the

sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest.

But what about doubt?

The Father's Cry (Mark 9:24)

In a deeply human moment, a father seeking healing for his son cries

out to Jesus, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" This short

verse powerfully captures the coexistence of faith and doubt.

hear the Word, and hear the Word and hear the Word

Hit the gym (of life - Gym life yo! Don't skip leg day!)

When it's all said and done, It's not even about what Faith can help us obtain.

It's about learning to trust God. That's the part that pleases our heavenly

Father! The real prize Is an assurance in the Divine God, greater than

whatever we may be experiencing in this world.

Now, that is something that cannot be taken from us, even in eternity.

The Miracle Force of Faith

Matt 17:15 -19,20 (NIV, NKJ) Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures and suffers terribly;…I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him…

You unbelieving … generation,” Jesus replied,

(the father said) I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him. …Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment… the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”…So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Unbelief stops my miracle.

In Matt 17:20 ..the disciple asked why they couldn’t do the miracle.

Jesus said because you have no faith.

In Matt 13:58 (Jesus) did not do many miracles (in his home town) because of their lack of faith.

God wants to bless, prosper, protect, and deliver his people; he wants to give us abundance, peace, favor, and healing.

Everything we receive from God we receive through faith.

Now faith is (believing God’s words) the substance (the legal document, the proof) of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

We believe the Bible. It is our legal promise that we will receive the things we are hoping for and the Bible is our evidence of the things we cannot see.

We can see from the Bible what faith will do for us.

By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. Women received their loved ones back again from death.

Many of us are fighting for our children to come back to the Lord, fighting for our marriage to be restored or fighting for healing in our bodies.

-We must understand the Christian life is a fight of faith

Romans 5:1 (NLT) - we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God

because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Romans 10:13 (NKJV) - “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved”

1 John 1:9 (ESV) - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse

us from all unrighteousness.

Developing a habit of morning prayer is a powerful way to deepen your connection with God and transform your life. As Psalm 27:8 reminds us, God is calling us to come and talk with Him, and when we respond, He promises to guide us on the best path (Psalm 32:8). Whether you're struggling with time or unsure where to start, follow the example of Jesus in Luke 11 and pray with intention, surrender, and trust. By making morning prayer a daily habit, you'll invite God's wisdom, provision, and protection into every aspect of your life.

We pray for God's divine protection over our lives, families, and everything we hold dear. Through Psalm 91, we learn that God sends His angels to guard and shield us from harm, sickness, accidents, and all dangers. As believers, we have a host of angels assigned to us, surrounding us with supernatural protection. We declare God's promises and pray for His angels to surround us and keep us safe, day and night.

God want's us to be close to Him. But when we sin it causes separation with our heavenly Father. That's why it is important for all believers to ask God for forgiveness every morning in the Lord's Prayer. But when we don't make ourselves right with God and with others, it actually causes not only separation with God it causes us to be separated from people, or even worse, our church family.

We are in the most controversial time in our nation. It's easy for Christians to want to sit this election out. But God calls us to be the salt of the world. We are to be the preservative that sustains righteousness, and purity. Our vote can not be based off our thoughts, opinions, or feelings. We vote based off of what the word of God says.

God calls himself our healer, and that title has not changed. And as believers we have access to the unlimited power that God provides. By getting a promise from God, and speaking it out, we can receive the miracle.

This is a life changing message. It was even better on the front row, but you should till watch it. Pastor Jerry talks about how God healed his son, and how he can heal yours too. How Jesus did miracles, and that He still is today. All we have to do is look at what WE DO HAVE, and offer it to God. Then sit back and see what God does in our life. One of the ways we prepare ourselves for the blessing of God is by being a good steward of what he's given us. Are YOU on a budget? We'd like to encourage you to be. Talking about money and how we spend it can be a touchy subject for people, but we believe God wants to free us from being dominated by money so we can thrive and be generous. Start a budget, and prepare the space for God's blessing in your life!

How are we going to pay the bills? How am I going to get out of debt? Should I get this? Money brings up a lot of questions. Even the wealthiest of people stress about the questions that money brings. God doesn't want us to rely on ourselves when it comes to finances. But He also wants us to be wise. Jesus taught us to be good stewards with what we have, thats why creating a budget is so important for our daily lives.

Most Christians today have a problem with tithing. But did you know that it is actually commanded by God? Not because God needs your money, He wants your heart. The purpose of tithing is to show that we are putting God first in our lives. In fact the more we allow God to be first in our lives the more God is able to come in, and bless us.

God wants to bless you! Not just spiritually but even financially. Yep, we said it. No, this isn't prosperity gospel where everyone gets a Cadillac-- this is a biblical truth! We are God's children and it is not God's desire for us to go through life suffering or barely making it by. God wants Christians to be wealthy and extravagantly generous to others in need. If you put God FIRST in your life, there is a promise and BLESSING that is released over you. Listen to this message and if you have any questions let us know!

Have you ever enjoyed taking a test? Most of us would answer no. But, the reality is that life is filled with tests, today more than ever. Some tests are God’s tests, given for preparation, not punishment. His tests allow difficult circumstances, revealing what’s in our hearts so that He can lovingly correct us and set us up to have success. When life seems tough, God is working on our behalf. The Bible has a lot to say, let’s learn together.

Health checkups are important. They can help you be proactive in sustaining your wellbeing and alert you if something is off. Heart checkups are just as, if not more, important. With the state of the world’s culture, there has never been a better time to check our emotional and spiritual hearts for health. If we can get our hearts fixed, we can get our lives fixed. When God is first, life is at its best. This doesn’t just mean saying God is first. It means letting Him lead. Jesus wants to lead your life, meaning we need to follow Him. We need to surrender to Him. When our will confronts God’s will, we need to choose His way. Ask yourself, “are you surrendered? Are you teachable?” How you answer those questions will determine your future.

Jesus has a purpose and a plan for your life. When we follow His plan, we’ll reach the destination. The Hope of Mercy

You were created for a relationship with God. In fact, every person on earth was created for that life-giving, life-altering connection. But, our shortcomings separate us from the ability to draw near to Him on our own. Don’t worry, there is hope. Mercy brings it. Mercy isn’t found in our own effort, hard work or striving for success. It is found in the person of Jesus, sent to earth to give us a bridge across the gap. God wants us to embrace that hope and share it with others. Take some time, in this message, to learn the simplicity of the lesson. You’ll never be the same.

What does “mercy” mean to you? The way you answer that question lines you up with God’s purpose for your life. Mercy withholds judgement. Mercy also gives unexpected kindness. The greatest joy on earth is the feeling of being used by God for a purpose greater than yourself. So, let’s learn and grow together.

Names are significant. They carry legacy, purpose, and meaning. God introduces himself as “mercy.” He is merciful and kind. God withholds what is deserved and gives unexpected kindness. God is waiting to give this and wanting us to receive it. Come and listen. It’s time to receive God’s refreshing.

You can triumph in tragedy. You can live a blessed life. Here’s the key, keep doing the right thing for a really long time. It’s not always easy, but with effort, your life will be blessed, and God will bring breakthrough. Don’t give up. Good is coming.

If God had a heart to heart moment with us, what would He say? The world is in a volatile place. But, our Father in heaven is not shaken. Two keys to learning, growing and healing is to listen well and walk in unity. Have a happy father’s day with the greatest Father of all, God Himself.
