We've been told there's a 'major gap' when it comes to mental health support for people diagnosed with diabetes. The family of a Doncaster man, who killed himself after struggling to cope with it, want to make sure no-one else does the same. They've set up the Daniel Williams Foundation which will fund two specialist nurses in our region which would give diabetic people and their families emotional support - they'd be the first of their kind in the country. The families and friends of two Rotherham demolition workers held a peaceful protest at Didcot power station. Ken Cresswell and John Shaw, along with a third man Chris Huxtable from Wales, are still missing after the collapse there. Those who turned out say they want the search for them speeding up. The men's employer Coleman and Company has said: "We share the deep frustration felt by the families of our missing friends and colleagues. Five people have been jailed for a total of 102 years for grooming young girls in Rotherham. Our Chief Reporter Laura Pennington was at Sheffield Crown Court for the sentencing. Ringleader Arshid Hussain, 40, was given the longest prison sentence of 35 years. His younger brothers Basharat and Bannaras were handed 25 and 19 years respectively. Their uncle Qurban Ali, 53, will spend 10 years locked up while Karen MacGregor faces 13 years inside. 40-year-old Shelley Davies was given an 18 month suspended sentence.
Jessica ,which isn't the woman's real name, first met her abuser when she was 14. She says for years no-one believed her or listened when she tried to get help. Her abuser Arshid Hussain, 40, from High Street in Goole, has now been convicted of a total 23 charges relating to child sexual exploitation. Jessica bravely gave evidence in court about him and has been speaking to our Chief Reporter Laura Pennington.
Four men from the same family and two women have been convicted of grooming girls in Rotherham. Our Chief Reporter Laura Pennington has been at Sheffield Crown Court and has a special report about the case. Three brothers Arshid, Basharat and Bannaras Hussain from Goole were all involved in abusing and sexually exploiting girls in the town between 1987 and 2003. There were fifteen victims in total; the youngest was just 11 when she first met her abusers. A jury found the Hussain brothers' uncle, Qurban Ali, guilty of conspiracy to rape. They also convicted two women. Karen MacGregor, 59, from Wath-upon-Dearne of four charges including conspiracy to rape. Shelley Davies, 40, from Rotherham, was found guilty of two charges including false imprisonment. Two other men Sajid, 38, and Majid Bostan, 37, both from Rotherham, were cleared.

It's as new figures show a third of young women have been in a controlling relationship but with many not realising until it's over. Jenny's now 19. That's not her real name and we've used an actor to protect her identity. She was one of five victims befriended by 23 year old Amanda Spencer, of Rawmarsh Hill, Rotherham. She first met her when she was 13. Spencer's been jailed for 12 years for a string of offences relating to child prostitution in Sheffield between 2005 and 2011. Her youngest victim was just 11. They were vulnerable young girls in care, estranged from their family or homeless. Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board, said: "We will learn from this case. It is important to say that we are continually striving to improve, and services in Sheffield are already very different today from when this abuse took place. "Our priority at this time is to continue to work and support those affected by this case."
Amanda Spencer, 23, from Rawmarsh Hill in Rotherham has been given 12 years in prison for sixteen offences relating to child prostitution. She was cleared of eight and the jury couldn't decide on 14. She's been sentenced alongside Ian Foster, 68, from High Green. He's been given 14 years in prison for a string of child sex offences, including sexually assaulting two girls and young woman who he met through Spencer. The judge described him as a "paedophile" and Spencer as a "heartless exploiter". Hallam FM's Laura Pennington has been following the case.
Amanda Spencer, 23, from Canklow in Rotherham has been found guilty of forcing girls as young as 11 into prostitution in South Yorkshire. She's been convicted of 16 offences relating to child prostitution and sexual exploitation. She was cleared of eight charges and a jury at Sheffield Crown Court couldn't reach decisions on a further 14 counts. Hallam FM's Laura Pennington has been in court and has this special report.
Lydgate Junior School headteacher Stuart Jones has paid tribute to Amaan and Adhyan Parvais Kayani. The seven and nine year olds died in a house fire in Sharrow, Sheffield along with their nine week old sister, aunt and grandma.

Bomb disposal experts were called in by police after they found hundreds of weapons, including grenades, daggers and machine guns, at a dead man's home in Penistone. The 51 year old was a collector and the items dated back to the First and Second World Wars. Police aren't treating his death as suspicious.

John Bush (pictured) from Doncaster has been given 6 years behind bars for abducting a teenage girl and having sex with her. The 35 year old went missing with a 14 year old girl, who can't be named for legal reasons. It sparked a nationwide manhunt which only ended in London after the pair were spotted by a British Transport Police officer. At a previous court appearance at Sheffield Crown Court, Bush admitted three charges: sexual activity with a child, the abduction of a child and making off without paying for two hotel rooms.
A 3 year old girl has been left with serious head injuries after being hit by at least one off-road motorcycle in Rotherham. She was crossing the road with her mum when she was "ripped from her arms". Tracey Cawthorne is a family friend and lives next to where the accident happened in East Herringthorpe. She was one of the first people there to help. Police are appealing for information
