These organizations were nominated by followers who believed that these organizations were making a difference in the lives of others. As a result, they were chosen by Harry and Meghan to shine a light on for the month of August. My duke and I Podcast will spotlight these 15 organizations because they are helping so many with so little, therefore, it is important to let the world know who they are, what they do, and how they can be helped.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex guest-edited the September issue of British Vogue, an issue normally slated for fall fashion. However, she transformed it to shine a light on fifteen women from diverse backgrounds, such as politics, sport, and art. These women are collectively making a difference in transforming the lives of others. An applaudable aspect of the issue is its cover that includes a mirror, which urges us, the readers, to look within ourselves and be a force for change.
The Duchess enlisted her husband, Prince Harry, who interviewed primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall, that resulted in a global conversation on the subconscious bias, which refers to the attitudes or stereotypes that affect our understanding, actions, and decisions in an unconscious manner. The issue also consists of a Q & A with former first lady, Michelle Obama, on motherhood and maturity.
The September issue of British Vogue is substantive. The Duchess had worked hard on it for seven months during and after her pregnancy. As a testament to her hard work, Edward Enninfu, the editor of British Vogue, said, "When you only know someone by their public persona, all too often you find yourself disappointed by the reality. But, once in a while, someone comes along who exceeds all of your expectations. Let me say this for The Duchess of Sussex: she is the real deal – and an ultimate force for change."
The 4th of August is Meghan's birthday, so My Duke and I Podcast invited fans from around the world to wish the Duchess happy birthday, which is included in this podcast.

In episode 8, we discuss the Commonwealth trade meeting of Senior policymakers, business leaders and owners, which will take place in Nairobi, Kenya. CAMFED, a charity organization supported by the Queen's Commonwealth Trust, wins gold at the Chelsea garden show. Prince Harry's polo match in Rome which raised funds for Sentebale. Prince Harry wins a monetary judgement against Splash News Agency and a formal apology for invading his and Duchess Meghan’s privacy. A flower named after Archie Harrison at the Chelsea Flower Show. Harry and Meghan's second resident at Buckingham palace when they are in London and Prince Harry's upcoming engagements.

Meghan and Harry’s official Instagram account @RoyalSussex, launched on Tuesday April 2nd, and took five hours and 45 minutes for them to reach 1,000,000 followers, which is unprecedented. The previous world record took a little more than 11 hours to reach. Several days later they have more than 4 million followers.

The relocation of the Sussexs from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage
Harry and Meghan Has relocated from Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor where they got married. Frogmore Cottage is on the grounds of Frogmore House, which may sound familiar because it’s where the couple had their wedding reception, engagement photo shoot, along with the beautiful photograph with fireworks that was released over the 2018 Christmas holidays. The name Frogmore derives from the abundance of frogs on the estate, which is inevitable given that the property is near the river Thames and is on a marsh land. Frogmore Cottage was built in 1792 for Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George III, as a retreat.
And, later in 1887 by Abdul Karim an immigrant from India and his wife, who worked for Queen Victoria as an adviser and teacher, whom she was fond of. However, upon her Queen Victoria’s death, he was evicted and deported to India where he later died since he was not liked by other staff members and the courtiers.
After the eviction of Abdul Karim, in 1893 Frogmore Cottage was renovated, and its next famous residents were refugees from Russia. In 1925, King George V allowed refugee Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna a relative of Czar Nicholas II, who was murdered along with his immediate family, to take refuge at Frogmore cottage with her family. Given that the grand duchess’s family was penniless after fleeing Russia, the house fell into disrepair. After the departure of the Russian Royals, Frogmore Cottage was divided into several apartments and was used as housing for staff. Currently the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has refurbished Frogmore Cottage where they will have ample space and privacy to live as a family when Baby Sussex is born.

In this episode of My duke and I, we discuss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's partnership with the the Commonwealth Nations. Harry is the ambassador of the 53 Commonwealth countries and Meghan is the vice president of the queen's Commonwealth trust along with her husband Prince Harry the President.
What is the Queen's Commonwealth trust? It's a non-for-profit organization where they champion fund and connect young leaders who are working hard to change the world? The Queen's Commonwealth trust also shares the stories of these young leaders and give them the platform to amplify their ideas and inspire others to join.
