This week we continue to look at 1 Corinthians. A letter sent to the early church of Corinth challenging them on how they outwork their sexuality in a sexually fuelled society.
Dean at CHC Stephen Beaumont challenges us all to not write comparison off as a negative thing in our lives but instead strive to find people that we can compare our lives to in regards to being more like Jesus. As Paul urged the church of Corinth to follow Timothy in his action and speech. We too must look to find mentors and those that represent Christ well in our lives. The first of a series looking at the book of 1 Corinthians.
If you're struggling to hear the voice of God it could be that you're needing some time of rest. You also might need to take some time out in silence to allow God to speak to your soul. This week Az Hamilton looks at the importance of rest and silence when it comes to hearing what God has to say.

The name given by the Hebrew people to define their living God. The name often sends shivers down the spines of their enemies and for good reason. Jehovah Elohim is all powerful, strong and mighty. The name eludes to his power in the creation story in Genesis 1:1 and throughout the scripture he is identified as The Living God.
