This week we continued the Made For It series with Pastor Tyler Hardy teaching on mentor discipleship. Tyler shared the role and impact of mentors in his own life, and how mentors can disciple us, provide wisdom, insight, perspective, and encouragement. Mentors are role models, Jesus is the standard. We are to imitate our mentors to the measure they imitate Christ. Mentors are a gift to help us process through pain, learn from someone in a different stage of life, and to fill in the gaps.
