With holidays coming up in a few weeks, this can be a time of stress for many people. Sometimes we are required to spend time with difficult family members. For some, the holidays represent excessive alone time filled with loneliness, sadness and perhaps depression. The holidays can, also, be prime time to engage in our most comfortable coping behaviors: overeating and drinking, overspending, engaging in family drama, indulging in self-defeating, negative thinking patterns, avoiding gatherings and isolating ourselves.

Guest Julie M. Simon, licensed psychotherapist, life coach and author of The Emotional Eater’s Repair Manual: A Practical Mind-Body-Spirit Guide for Putting an End to Overeating and Dieting, helps overeaters and imbalanced eaters heal their relationships with themselves, their bodies and food, stop dieting, lose excess weight and keep it off.
