Feed Your Spirit: A podcast delivering stories of hope and encouragement with a sprinkle of faith. We all have those moments when we randomly open our bible and there it is - His words of faith, renewal, courage, patience, or a good ol’ dose of tough love fills us with what only He can give. Hosted by Jill Dobrowansky, this conversation-style podcast aims to share stories that will feed your spirit.
On today's episode, I sit down and chat with my friend, Caroline Garguilo. Caroline is an educator and real estate agent. At Feed Your Spirit, I like to say that we imperfectly perfect people who are uplifting others through grace-filled encouragement. I am so happy you joined me today! With the determination to consciously live in God’s word, I invite you to plug in, prepare your heart, and Feed Your Spirit.

On today's episode, I talk with my friend Courtney Bullard. Courtney is a wife, mother to two daughters, and unwavering Christian. Courtney talks to me about answering the late-night call from God to start The Pearl House Academy and The Pearl House Career Center in Ghana in 2013. The Pearl House provides physical care, emotional support, spiritual development, and academic and vocational opportunities. They “empower girls their unique identity and purpose in Christ.” In addition, Esombo is part of The Pearl House in which women design, create, and sell jewelry and a line of hand-sewn bags and masks. I have several pieces of their jewelry which I love to wear because I know I am helping the women behind the product have a better life for themselves and for their families. Not to mention, they are stunning statement pieces that always spark conversations and awareness. Courtney’s story shows how we can change lives forever when we trust, listen, and obey God.

Not to mention, they are stunning statement pieces that always sparks conversations and awareness. Courtney’s story shows how we can change lives forever when we trust, listen, and obey God.

Feed Your Spirit: A Podcast talking with ordinary people about those moments in life when God’s word gives you just what you need when you need it most. We all have those moments when we randomly open our bible and there it is - His words of faith, renewal, courage, patience, or a good ol’ dose of tough love fills us with what only He can give. Hosted by the 2 Scripture Sisters, Jill and Denise, this conversation-style podcast aims to share stories that will feed your spirit.
On today's episode, we are talking with Sianna. Sianna is a working mom, raising two young adult sons, a loving wife, a fearless Christian woman who is bold in sharing the word of God. We talk about how to be adults together with your young adult children, preparing them for a life of independence, giving them the gift of God and showing them how to walk in faith. As mothers, it is often hard for us to let them go but if we raised them to know God and we raised them to trust in His word, they will learn what it means and feels like to give back and to receive the wisdom of when to speak and when to listen.
With the determination to consciously live in the word, we invite you to plug in and prepare your heart as we Feed Your Spirit with everyday stories of God’s grace from everyday people.

Sianna’s favorite...
Scripture: John 4:13-15 “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
Sianna does not necessarily read devotionals but spends a little time every day in the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. She feels that she gains a greater understanding of the word when reading in tandem, rather than a micro view.

On today's episode, we are talking with Candace. Candace is a wife, mother of 3, and business owner. She takes us through her journey as her husband battled cancer. With the love and support of family, friends, and her faith she talks to us about how to she became thankful in a not so thankful time. She also talks about her word for 2019 - chosen. In true, Feed Your Spirit fashion, the Lord was giving this word for her to live by over and over again. No matter where she turned, there was the word, "chosen." Feed Your Spirit: A Podcast talking with ordinary people about those moments in life when God’s word gives you just what you need when you need it most.
On today's episode, we talk with Cherri. Cherri is a wife, mother, educator, author, and counselor. She has been around addiction her whole life but it wasn't until her own children that she began to experience the hardships of seeing your children's lives spiral out of control. Not knowing what to do, she had to learn to love them to life instead of love them to death by enabling the destructive behavior.
With the determination to consciously live in the word, we invite you to plug in and prepare your heart as we Feed Your Spirit with everyday stories of God’s grace from everyday people.

On today's episode, we are talking with Ben. Ben is the husband to our previous guest Carol Ann. If you have had not listened to Carol Ann’s episode, we encourage you to do so now. Ben’s story is about addiction recovery. While this topic is sensitive in nature, we encourage you to listen with an open heart and to be mindful if there are young children within listening range. Currently Ben owns his own business in digital marketing and is busy raising two young children alongside his wife, Carol Ann. Surrounded by family, faith, his church community, and friends, Ben shares with us his trials and challenges with his addiction. Ben also talks openly about the healing process and what it takes day to day to overcome victoriously. Ben is forever thankful to his wife, family, church and the staff at The Colony of Mercy - a residential recovery program for men at America’s Keswick.
