Daulton and I discuss the state of the educational system from the perspective of educators, what works, what doesn’t, and how we could be better. We set off discussing his playing career but were repeatedly drawn back to the educational system as I believe it is something that must be addressed sooner than later.

In this episode I sit down with Cazden Cote. We have a discussion about creative endeavors focused around his passion for music and film. We discuss what makes a movie good, what makes a movie great, how we project ourselves onto our art, and the state and direction of Hollywood. I had a ton of fun catching up with Cazden, as its been a few years since last seeing each other. I hope you guys get a kick out of this one.

Ouu .. maybe not resources but some other things I tried:

  • Journalling. First about how I was feeling or my mood that day. Now I do that as well and one thing I am grateful for each day. (Journaling is very personal though and everyone has different things that work best for themselves!)
  • I wrote letters to the perpetrator. (Or other people you can't talk to/ don't want to talk to it about yet, or never) . This was another thing that can be quite triggered or re-traumatizing. However. This can be beneficial to get thoughts out of your mind. It can also be empowering as you have control over the letter. You can choose to send it, if you know your perpetrator, or you can burn it, or do WHATEVER you want to do with it. You don't even have to ever finish it!
