There were some quiete hard vibrations while standing literally on the subwoofer with a lack of monitoring, so mixing at the first tracks wasnt matchy as it was supposed to be. After a few minutes I've arranged with the circumstances. Anyway, try to enjoy the set ;)

Hey folks, I hope you are having a great summer enjoying the topless party season! Here's the set I've played at the Weird Open Air second stage hosted by Maximale Liebe in the heart of Hamburg near Sternschanze. It was a daytime party with perfect weather conditions and performances by Jan Blomqvist & Band, Oliver Schories, Miyagi and the Maximale Liebe showcase were the music has been a bit more 'intense' ;) I've played the first slot, starting with a deeper stuff while people were just hanging out until they feeds start to move.

Hey folks, I\'ve made another guestmix, this time for my DJ mate Flouka who runs the Hamburger Nächte page which informs about local raves, partys, clubs, resident DJs and more. This mix was recorded straight after my week off on Ibiza, so you might hear some sunny vibes for the very last time until fall kicks in. That\'s why you should listen to it soon ;)

Here\'s the original press release: Mit Johnny Bek starten wir mit frischer Power in die neue Woche. Dabei steht der Hamburger schon seit 2002 hinterm Pult und weis eine Atmosphäre zu schaffen, wo einem der Atem wegbleiben kann.

Seine musikalischen Einflüsse umfasst die elektronische Musik der 80er Jahre bis heute. Für ihn sind DJ\'s dabei eine Art Magier, die ihre Crowd mit Tricks und Kniffen in einen zauberhaften Bann ziehen. Elektronische Musik zu machen ist eine Kunst, verschiedene Genres und Stile miteinander zu verbinden. Ein neues Kunstwerk zu schaffen.

Mit drei DJ-Kollegen startete Bek 2009 die Veranstaltungsreihe Electric Fabric Hamburg. 2011 die Produktion eigener Tracks. Am Anfang mit einem leeren Blatt Papier, am Ende mit einer fertigen Produktion, in der viel Zeit und Arbeit steckt.

2015 setzte er sich gegenüber 300 DJ\'s durch und gewann die Mixmag + ANTS Ibiza DJ competition. Infolgedessen ging es für ihn ins Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel (Official), wo er zusammen mit UNER, Timo Maas Official Page, Los Suruba, Andrea Oliva \"Official\" und Ben Pearce spielen durfte.

Like every year since 2010, May 31 marks the public release day of my annual summer mix called \'THIS IS SUMMER\'. It became kind of my signature mix for the summer months. It's end of May 2013 and the summer is finally calling.

The right time to make some thoughts what could be the sound for the season of the year featuring holidays, sunbathing, swimming, cool drinks, hot summer nights etc. Like the last three years I took some time to get the music together, i would characterize as summer sound. Hello friends, hours away from 2012, i took some time to look back what happened in 2011 in the EDM production scene. A bunch of my personal favs of 2012 are featured in this extended length DJ mix. Twothousandandeleven was a year were dance music hit back into the mainstream charts. David Guetta climbed the #1 of the overrated DJ Mag chart and EDM seems to invate into the US in a big way. Anyway lets hope that some of the people who get into the dance music output start to dig deeper into some more undergroundish sounds. Lets see what 2012 brings across!

Heya Ladies & Gents, i know its July already, once again i didnt make it in time, sorry for that! But better late than never. The full round-up what happened on high class releases in the last 4 weeks. But there were also sad news in June... As you may heard, the german radio & EDM scene legend Tillmann Uhrmacher died suddenly in June. A big shock for the scene and especially for the radio station Sunshine Live, were he hosted his weekly Radio show "Maximal". I think this show is existing for 20 years until now. Beside his work at the radio he was also a producer and dj. His addiction for electronic music was nearly endless. And he was the definition of a party animal. I have listened to a lot of funny live reports were he interviewed global players at the big festivals in germany, while he was gettin more and more drunk :) A bunch of funny moments to remember him. To make a little treatment i have played one of his biggest productions called "On The Run" as the last track of this Podcast.
