How We Gather Word Alive International Outreach is an interdenominational, life-giving, family oriented, multi-cultural, multi-generational, Spirit-filled, apostolic center for everyone. Join us on campus the first full weekend of each month for Transformation Weekend. That is Friday night worship at 7pm, Saturday night breakthrough service at 6pm, and two Sunday morning services at 9am and 11am.

We all want to walk in glory with Christ. The key to walking in glory is diligently seeking Christ.
Glory is something you ALREADY posses (see 2 Peter 1:3) and it's the KEY to unlocking your full potential. (see 2 Peter 1:5-8)
For the glory of God, take up the call to be diligent, remembering God's provision for you, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

There is a cycle in God's blessings. In Exodus 23:14-16 --
The Three Annual Festivals 14 “Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me.
15 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt.
“No one is to appear before me empty-handed.
16 “Celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field.
“Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field."
The cycle starts with Passover, the redemption, then proceeds to Pentecost which is revelation, and finishes with Tabernacles which is the restoration.
We are in an appointed time for a spiritual upgrade! It's going to be different but it's going to be worth it!

What is First Fruits?
Deuteronomy 26 New International Version (NIV) Firstfruits and Tithes 26 When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it, 2 take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land the Lord your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name 3 and say to the priest in office at the time, “I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come to the land the Lord swore to our ancestors to give us.”
It's the "first' of your fruits. The first hour/day/week/whatever of your pay that you give to the Lord in addition to tithes. Why? Because we believe that God will multiple what you give!
Dan speaks on how giving in poverty broke him out of poverty! When you trust the Lord with your money, he'll bless you endlessly!

God's plan for man has always been good. He created us to thrive on earth in relationship with him and his creation. Because of the fall of man, we've been led to believe the lie that God is not good and that he is the reason for death, disease, and destruction. This is all wrong! Our God is GOOD! We look at the teachings of Jesus... He didn't preach to repent to go to Heaven, he didn't preach to repent or go to Hell. He simply said to follow him. Jesus is the way to Heaven.
Jesus teaches us that being "born again" or "saved" just means being awakened to who he is and what he has accomplished. He destroyed the work of Satan and His power restored the Kingdom to it's rightful place.

2 Samuel 6:11-12 New King James Version (NKJV) The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the Lord blessed Obed-Edom and all his household. Now it was told King David, saying, “The Lord has blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that belongs to him, because of the ark of God.” So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-Edom to the City of David with gladness.
We can conclude these three main points from the story of Obed-Edom and the Ark of the Covenant.

Out of the bad, there is always something good. Our background doesn't matter. Our education doesn't matter. Our family history doesn't matter. God can and will use you for something good.

Move from Visitation to Habitation. Visitation is a temporary state. Habitation isn't. Move into a state of habitation with God.

Move when God moves. This goes back to obedience. You have to move when God moves and let him have control over your life. Just think about how 90 short days in the manifest presence of God, changed Obed-Edom's house!

It may seem presumptuous to say that human beings can do anything to "seat" God on His throne, since the sovereign Creator of the universe needs neither our assistance nor our approval to be enthroned. But there is a subtle truth often overlooked by those who would assert God's sovereignty so quickly that they forget our own. The biblical fact is, God has given each of us a sovereign will, too. Absolute control of our personal destiny has been placed within our own decision-making power.
This week Kent is encouraging us to pray the Lord's prayer daily this entire week.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

This week Kent covers the three lessons on God's glory on our house.

First, God does not desire to manifest his glory among his people.

Second, we see that God's glory is associated with worship, and that those who fill the house with praise pave the way for glory.

Third, we learned that God's glory must be entertained, that is, HONORED so as not to be lost. To “entertain” God's glory is to welcome His workings in our hearts and homes, our churches and congregations, just as we would a beloved guest.

This is our season for a turn-around. "Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can TURN life around." (Proverbs 13:12 Msg). You can expect a complete turn-around in "against all odds" situations this season.
Passover is one of the three major feasts we celebrate a year.
“Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed." (Deuteronomy 16:16)

Passover is a “commanded feast.” Every Israelite had to take part. And it holds even more meaning for you and me than it did for the children of Israel in the Old Testament. In Christ, our Passover Lamb, we have seen the realization of what was, for them, just a symbol. The Apostle Paul urges, “let us keep the feast” (1 Corinthians 5:8).
There is no reason why Christians should not celebrate Passover.
God commanded this celebration and promised SEVEN anointings for those who were obedient — listed in Exodus 23 — and they are meant for YOU!
1 Angels on assignment (Exodus 23:20). God promised an angel to guide the people into the land prepared for them.
2 An adversary to your adversaries (Exodus 23:22). God Himself will beat back your enemies.

Assets necessary for life (Exodus 23:25). Food, clothing, shelter — everything needed for you and your family to live. A blessing on your bread and water.

Affliction removed (Exodus 23:25). Not only will YOU not be sick, but there won’t even be sickness around you!

Agelessness (Exodus 23:26). God promised babies to barren women and to fulfill the number of our days — with long life He will satisfy us, and our youth will be renewed!

Abundance overflowing (Exodus 23:31). God promised Israel a land flowing with milk and honey — a place where they would thrive! This place has been prepared for you, too!

An Alpha year (Exodus 23:20-31). Oh, I feel it in my spirit, I feel it in my bones! Passover, begins the year of living in abundance in every area of our lives — a blessing on your family, your career, your finances, your health, your emotions ...
Did you know that there are two different types of time? Kronos time, this is the traditional "Father Time", that implies that there is nothing we can do about time passing and just have to accept that life is tough. Kairos time is something different. It's when your divine destiny collides with a divine moment.
We're in a kairos time - a divine time. This is apparent in so many ways. Things that you've prayed for, can happen in a moments time. Get ready for the goodness of the Lord!
Romans 13:11-14The Message (MSG) 11-14 But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. The night is about over, dawn is about to break. Be up and awake to what God is doing! God is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work he began when we first believed. We can’t afford to waste a minute, must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence, in sleeping around and dissipation, in bickering and grabbing everything in sight. Get out of bed and get dressed! Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!
Our problems have an expiration date!
How great is our God? He can turn our mess into a message. The best news is that there is nothing on this earth that can stop God from doing his good work in your life!
Philippians 2:13 13 For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively WORKING in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.
H eaven E nters L ife's P roblems
This week is all about getting HELP. If you're not happy, go back to a time when you were happy - what were you reading, what worship songs were you listening to, what daily activities were you participating in? Apply them to your life now and see if that makes a difference. Heaven enters life's problems.
We must develop our way of listening, hearing, and cooperating with God. God will be limited in our lives if we don't practice this. God is our source! He is as large and his resources are as bountiful as we allow him to be in our lives! Live with and in the sound of abundance!
Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain." 1 Kings 18:41
This week we're talking about using what we have to better serve the Lord. You see, it isn't about what you don't have. It's about what you do with what you DO have! We're focusing on the story of the widow that was using what she had to make her last meal... she gave it all to the Lord and the Lord provided for her.
1 Kings 17:8-16 Amplified Bible (AMP) 8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to [a]Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” 10 So he set out and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks [for firewood]. He called out to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a jar, so that I may drink.” 11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand.” 12 But she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar. See, I am gathering a few sticks so that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it [as our last meal] and die.” 13 Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said. Just make me a little bread from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son. 14 For this is what the Lord God of Israel says: ‘The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted nor shall the jar of oil be empty until the day that the Lord sends rain [again] on the face of the earth.’” 15 She went and did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. 16 The bowl of flour was not exhausted nor did the jar of oil become empty, in accordance the word of the Lord which He spoke through Elijah.
Everything in life is controlled by three decisions - 1. What are you going to focus on? 2. What does it mean? and 3. What are you going to do? This week we're going to focus on the last question - What are you going to do? We all have a "Plan B", a back up plan, a way out. Looking at the story of Elijah and Elisha, we know that Elijah was one of the great prophets, and that Elisha wanted to be just like him. Elisha was faithfully doing his work, day after day, and then when he was given the opportunity to serve Elijah, he said yes without hesitation... Without worrying about his back up plan.
You don't have to fully understand fully to obey immediately.
As we conclude this series, we see THE BIG PICTURE! The Church is an aircraft carrier and NOT a luxury cruiseship. This means that each and every one of us a fighter plane -- we're here to empower and equip armies for the Lord!
We have three major feasts a year, Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. These are feasts in the old testement that still hold power today. We also have 4 equipping seminars every year that are designed to equip and empower us to go out and equip and empower OTHERS!
Ephesians 4:11-16 sums it up perfectly:
And [His gifts to the church were varied and] He Himself appointed some as apostles [special messengers, representatives], some as prophets [who speak a new message from God to the people], some as evangelists [who spread the good news of salvation], and some as pastors and teachers [to shepherd and guide and instruct], [and He did this] to fully equip and perfect the saints (God’s people) for works of service, to build up the body of Christ [the church]; until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer, reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity]. So that we are no longer children [spiritually immature], tossed back and forth [like ships on a stormy sea] and carried about by every wind of [shifting] doctrine, by the cunning and trickery of [unscrupulous] men, by the deceitful scheming of people ready to do anything [for personal profit]. But speaking the truth in love [in all things—both our speech and our lives expressing His truth], let us grow up in all things into Him [following His example] who is the Head—Christ. From Him the whole body [the church, in all its various parts], joined and knitted firmly together by what every joint supplies, when each part is working properly, causes the body to grow and mature, building itself up in [unselfish] love.
We want church to be more than a sterile enviornment where you come once a week, sit and listen to a sermon, and then leave. We want church to be a place where you can sit down and have a cup of coffee and talk about thte goodness of the Lord! Six touches from the Street to the seat - what does that mean? Well, it means that we have an amazing group of people that are here to love on you, pray for you, and make you feel welcome!
"Wherever He entered, into villages, cities, or the country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him that they might just touch the hem of His garment. And as many as touched Him were made well." MARK 6:56
This week as we continue with The Big Picture series, we are talking about the areas in our life that we're constantly trying to juggle. You can only juggle so many things before you start dropping something. We need to focus on what the Lord has called us to do.
Think of an atom, it has protons in the center and electrons circling around it. Protons are the positive force that literally hold the atom together. This is true with our lives, we have our positive force, God, and if we make Him the center of our lives... everything else will fall into place. accordingly.
In Luke 12:29-31 it says, “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you."
So, we can continue to juggle our lives and make a mess of things, or make God the center of it and let Him handle all of it.
As we continue The Big Picture series, we take a look at the concept of a tree, an image taht describes the Church perfectly. You see, a tree takes in CO2 and other toxins from the world- and it expels something life-giving!
Often, "the Church" takes the position that we won't want to be stained by the world in which we live. Yet in the Bible we see that unclean things NEVER tainted Jesus; rather, He imparted life to everythign that was broken and dead!
We're the Body of Christ. His hands. His feet. Even His voice of affirmation and hope, calling forth destiny amidst chaos.
Back to the tree...
Scripture tells us that those who are PLANTED will flourish (Psalm 92:13). Everyone wants to flourish, right? Then it's time to be rooted, and grounded.
Vision is more than a goal- vision is something given by God. It carries power. It carries a faith- a belief- a KNOWING- that He can bring something to pass.

What's the vision?
Our vision is 5,000 worshipers; 1,000 Houses of Light; and $1 Million per year given to minister to the poor through Project 58.
It's big- and we're writing it in LARGE LETTERS, like Habakkuk 2:2 says, so that people running by can read it while they're working!
We're wired differently. Some of us use our heads and lead with words; others use our hands and lead with work- we take action. Or, to say it another way, some of us are IDEA people and others are IMPLEMENTERS.
What's more important?
Turns out, the Early Church learned that BOTH are needed. In Acts 6, they faced a dilemma: should the WORDS / IDEA people stop laboring in Scripture and prayer to oversee the distribution of food? Or should they continue doing their thing and empower another group of leaders to join the mix. That is, should they empower some WORK / IMPLEMENTERS to join their ranks?
They took the second option and invited MORE people to the top tier of leadership. The rest is history.
The Bible tells us that the Early Church grew by RAPID ADDITION until this point. They grew from 120 to 3,000 (Acts 1:15, 2:47). Then to 5,000 (4:4). Then "more and more" were ADDED to their number (5:14).
Yet when the disciples empowered another group of leaders, the church began to MULTIPLY (6:7). And, more peolpe were engaged in ministry. And revelation increased! In other words, everything got exponentially more intense!
The takeaway? No matter what you are- an idea person or an implementer, it's time to take the next best step and get equipped!

We spend a lot of time sitting in chairs. All kinds of them. Recliners. Desk chairs. Sofas. Bar stools. Car seats... They all have different purposes, and they're all important.

Recently Project 58 led a mission trip to Uganda. The team that was there shares their life changing stories about Uganda. They were able to lead several conferences and build a rain harvest tank. They taught the community about Galatians 5:1 - it’s for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. They talk about how it’s not just the lives of the people in Uganda that were changed but also their own lives.
This sermon’s message is about the power of the anointing. We truly believe that the faith behind the oil and anointing is what gives the anointing power. In the scriptures it says, “I have found David my servant; with my sacred oil I have anointed him. My hand will sustain him; surely my arm will strengthen him. The enemy will not get the better of him.” Psalm 89:20-22 - this tells us that through anointing, the Lord will strengthen us and the enemy will not be able to defeat us. We believe in anointing with oils and that it will bring blessings to you. This message teaches that we can anointing more than just people with the oils, but our things, houses, pets, everything in our life can be anointed.
The 2016 presidential election was a whirlwind. Despite your political background or preferences, you should pray for the nation’s leaders, according to 1 Timothy 2:2-4. While the fears surrounding this election are not unfounded, we can still seize this as an opportunity, not an obstacle. Politics are a part of your everyday life, and Andy Jenkins sheds light on how regardless of who is in office, God has his hands in it. He uses the story of the prophet Jeremiah and how he was told to build houses and raise families in Babylon and stop listening to the false prophets to really tie it all together.
In this sermon of the week, Kent Mattox covers the story of Zacchaeus. He brought salvation to Zacchaeus' entire house. This concept connects to Rosh Chodesh. God wants us to celebrate the monthly cycles. Rosh Chodesh is a time to hear what God is saying to us. When we celebrate Rosh Chodesh, we're actually bringing Heaven closer to Earth. We believe that this is a way for us to realign not only our houses, but our communities, and regions with God's purpose. A prophetic vision that Beverly Mattox had, showed her a thousand houses of light in our community - a thousand houses that are bringing Heaven closer to Earth.
Elijah was a powerful prophet. So powerful, as it says in James, that he was able to prevent rain for three years and six months through his prayer. Despite this, even Elijah struggled with his faith, as it says in I Kings 19, when he was threatened by Jezebel. But there is a powerful message in this story - if we will get moving again, just take the next step that God is telling us to take, our problems will be taken care of. When your ship starts to flood, don’t bail, press forward!
This week is all about the Feast of Tabernacles. This is a designated week of feasting and celebration. It is a special time to put aside our regular activities and feast on His goodness. Now is the time to posture your attitude into the new season and year, taking the limits off God’s ability to provide exceedingly above anything you think or ask.
Rosh Hashanah is a time biblically where we return back to the garden, or the source of the original blessing, trusting that as we’ve repented for our sins and shortcomings, we’ve got a brand new opportunity and new start to move forward with God. It is the force that is the opposite of weight. “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight” (Isaiah 59:19). The Lord is ready and capable of lifting you up and out of your circumstances no matter the heaviness you are bearing! Then, as a follower, it is our job to stretch out our hands to others and lift them up with the same power that has lifted us.
