When He gets you somewhere, it’s with great intentionality and purpose. Pastor Josiah pulls a key example from the life of Philip and his ultimate mission to Caesarea with this in mind. God has chosen to reveal Himself to us as a Father. This whole thing is about family! We have a panel of incredible men of God who share great insight on fatherhood and how it’s influenced their relationship with the Father.
To be prepared in the NATURAL as well as in the SPIRIT. Being prepared for ourselves, for our families, as a member OF the Body of Christ and AS the Body of Christ. Not reliant on others but taking up our place & position where God has called us. To be ready for whatever challenges may come and to be ready for a coming move of God… Revival!
Hiding in plain sight, gluttony is almost a taboo subject in our society. It’s important to learn that gluttony doesn’t just reside in the category of food — rather it germinates in a variety of self indulgence. Dan takes us on a soul cutting journey into his own life of battling gluttony and uncovering the steps he took to walk in freedom which has manifested in every area of his walk with God including his diet.

Stephen was the real deal and the way he handled what was done to him sowed a powerful seed into Saul. Furthermore Philip is ministering powerfully with BOTH the proclamation of the Gospel and the demonstration of the Kingdom. So much happened in that place as the city ate the fruit hanging from his branches. Much is revealed about what the Spirit of God was doing and also how the Apostles dealt with Simon the sorcerer. Our city will eat the fruit of the Believers. We must give them Jesus!
Continuing in the Red Letters series we break into the most famous sermon ever preached - The Sermon on The Mount. It kicks off breaking into The Beatitudes. It’s crucial to know that before Jesus proclaims these Kingdom truths, Jesus demonstrates the Kingdom in power but healing all who were sick and tormented around Him. Once again, we need both! We must have a paradigm shift of what we consider “blessed” to mean and come into alignment with Gods metric for it.
The Apostles are doing remarkable things with great power and great grace. There’s a reverence developing amongst the community who are witnessing what the Lord is doing through them. It’s truly creating a cultural shift in the land. Everything seems to be going to another level! Even Peters “shadow” is healing the sick as he walks by! As ministry is developing there’s problems arising but then there’s answers to the problems presenting themselves through the wisdom and leadership of the Apostles. They’re finding those full of the Spirit and of wisdom to serve the community. We uncover the benefits to such leadership wisdom they display and pull out truths we in America should be utilizing as well. This is for everybody!
Pastor Josiah takes us to the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus encounters a man who has been crippled at this pool for 38 years. In one encounter with Jesus, EVERYTHING CHANGED! Furthermore, there’s a deeper intention to this encounter. Jesus wasn’t just interested in a temporary healing, but an eternal one. This man, near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem must have seen thousands upon thousands of sheep led through that gate to be sacrificed in order to, at best, cover the sins of the people. Now the true Sheep Gate, with the ability to remove sins forever was before him and an unprecedented opportunity for eternal cleansing was available.
So many of us have gone through incredible trauma from our past and it’s difficult to see what the Lord is building within us when we’re right in the middle of it. But if we’ll remain patient and near to the Lord, He’ll showcase the wonderful plan He had all along for us — even through our pain.
Right after Peter is filled with the Spirit of God, he starts ministering in such a powerful way. God is filling his mouth with incredible wisdom and boldness which is bearing incredible fruit quickly. In a matter of moment’s he’s disarming those with accusations against his message. Doing things which look an awful lot like how Jesus operated. Furthermore, this experience of being filled with the Spirit is not a one time thing. It’s a powerful experience available to the seeking heart over and over again. The disciples were filled again and again, we should too expect the same!
Jesus reached out to everybody because He was on mission. He knew that He was the dominant influence in every relationship He had. So, when He eats with tax collectors and sinners it’s not just to enjoy their company, but rather to influence them with Kingdom impact. There was a great deal of intentionality behind it. We should expect the same. People all around you need Jesus and the ones you may be called to reach may not look like you, act like you, dress like you, vote like you or have a whole lot in common with you. Minus the fact that Jesus is pursuing their heart like He’s also pursued yours and He may be partnering with you to reach them. Are you available?
The Baptism in The Holy Spirit is crucial to live the equipped and empowered life Jesus has intended us to live. Jesus made it clear He didn’t want His disciples starting their ministries without being empowered by His Spirit. Pastor Josiah lays a solid foundation of understanding for this wonderful experience available to every Believer.
There’s people in your life that God has placed there intentionally. You’ve also been placed in the lives of others intentionally. This is no accident or happenstance. God knows what He’s doing. If we can see clearly, we’ll understand that He’s intending on us to be provoke people to a relationship with Him. You may have good friends but do you have God friends? Furthermore, when adversity shows up, do you stop or do you press on with a tenacious spirit to breakthrough? Pastor Josiah places a familiar story center stage to be examined on these thoughts.
Jesus only modeled an empowered Gospel. The demonstration of the Kingdom of God alongside the proclamation of it. The good news coupled with its manifestation. We should never have to choose one or the other, we need both. The proclamation of the pure, powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ. The empowerment of the Spirit is vitally needed to walk out this Biblical Christianity.
Jesus lived on mission. He preached and demonstrated the Kingdom of God everywhere He went while walking in obedience. He taught His disciples to do the same. Everybody is called to live like Jesus, no matter what degree of ministry they walk in. Some are called to simply minister to their families and friends everywhere they go and others have official positions in ministry within the church or on the mission field. But one thing is clear, the life of Jesus is to be lived out by all who call Him Lord. Determine what God may be calling you to and intend on doing it to the best of your ability as you do all things as unto the Lord.
On May 6th, 1954 Roger Bannister broke the barrier of running a sub 4 minute mile. Up until that point, this feat was considered a near impossibility. Many had tried and failed for years. Once the barrier was shattered, only a little over a month later, the sub 4 minute mile was broke again by John Landy. Then it was broken again and again shortly after. It’s amazing what people can accomplish once they’re shown what’s possible. The Gospel is filled with individuals who took the invitation to follow Jesus and while following His life shattered barrier after barrier, forever setting a precedent for everybody who came after them to attain. This deep look into Jesus’ early encounters with Simon Peter is sure to provoke you into deep waters. Barriers are breaking and with God all things are possible!
Pastor Josiah wraps up this portion of the first side of the coin, the Indwelling Work of The Spirit. When we’re saved the Holy Spirit goes to work on the inside of us, making us look and live like how Jesus did. We’re called to bear fruit that resembles the life of Christ in all things. There is a natural inclination to fight against this, the flesh, which we’re constantly waring against. The flesh is always pulling us one direction, but the Spirit is also pulling us another direction; towards obedience to the things of God. As we wrap up this crucial last brick in the foundation, we discover how we are indeed made in His image and likeness and there’s something truly magnetic about Him that’s drawing us to live like Him in every way as we yield to the indwelling work of the Spirit.
What you believe about Jesus matters. There could be a truth but if it’s not something that any individual specifically believes it won’t mean anything to them. Jesus told His disciples 3 different times about the his death and resurrection but they had trouble believing Him. It’s easy to see how even though He may be speaking to us directly, we may not be listening well. As it pertains to what we believe, everything rides on this truth. This Easter Sunday, Pastor Josiah lays out the truth of the Gospel and hits his target on owning what you believe.
We’ll be known by our fruit. The Holy Spirit is producing fruit in our lives if we’ve truly yielded ourself to His work. It takes a sober mind to look at the fruit that being produced in our lives and determine whether or not we’re actually yielding to Him or not. The good news is, it’s never too late to welcome His work in our lives. Works and faith can have a happy marriage. They aren’t against each other, we just need a healthy balance of the two and keep letting the Holy Spirit do what He does best.

The Holy Spirit is integrally involved in the salvation process. Some people see the Holy Spirit through a narrow lens of simply the gifts, but He is indeed God and does so much more in the life of the Believer on every level. Knowing what He does and how best to partner with Him is vital to a healthy walk. He is the Spirit of Christ, our present peace, rendering remarkable peace in each of us.
We’re a people of faith. By faith we manifest the Kingdom of God everywhere we go, as ambassadors of the Kingdom we represent the King! This fits so well with our Mission to Culture Like Christ as we aim at Jesus. There is a dominion of darkness but it holds no power over the Kingdom of light. Let’s not just know we’re a part of the Kingdom, rather on a regular basis we should be demonstrating the Kingdom of God in love and power —JUST LIKE JESUS!
Venturing deeper into the Indwelling Work of the Spirit, we take an intrinsic look into key verses elaborating on the unique roles of the Holy Spirit in our lives. There is a river flowing out of the Believer. It’s not a stagnant water, it’s a moving water. The Spirit of God is moving and we’ve got to learn to flow with Him. This attacks the traps of stagnation and apathy which are tactics the enemy uses to keep the people of God paralyzed and unproductive.
Perhaps one of the most familiar Biblical stories is Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well. Pastor Josiah hands out a fresh pair of lenses to look at this beautiful portion of Scripture. The radical choices that were made in this one moment changed the directory of thousands in the future. It was unconventional, powerful, provoking, sensitive and full of grace for transformation. You may have never looked at this story like this before nor will you ever see it the same again.
Are you walking in the flesh or walking the Spirit? There’s signs that will prove who you’re yielded to. We’re supposed to be yielding to the Spirit of God who should be dominating us as we give Him more and more of our hearts. We’re designed to yield. As we yield to Him, there’s some incredible keys that free us from a lifestyle of bondage and they’re the same keys that open doors to Kingdom living. Much happens when we yield to Him!
In order to live the life He’s called us to live, there is a degree of control we must let go of. People of the wind/Spirit can partner with but not control the wind. Ultimately, yielding to the control of the Spirit as we cooperate with the work of God in our lives brings us into the greatest blessings He has for us.
When Jesus is sleeping, we should be napping next to Him. When He’s making moves and rolling up His sleeves we should do the same. It’s how we handle storms and how we exercise our authority in all things, just like how Jesus did. He’s always teaching us and will often go out of His way in order to bring a lesson to us that will produce a growth we wouldn’t receive otherwise. What He’s doing in our midst produces wonderful things. Things that often manifest in the spiritual before it shows up in the physical. Listen in on a challenging and perspective altering mindset we should all be carrying.
Am I my brothers keeper? What does the Scriptures have to say about the people around us and what it looks like for us to care for them? Furthermore, as it pertains to your family, how do you showcase the love and heart of God to them? Missions Director George Elias takes us through a barrage of Scripture uncovering the name and power of God commissioning us into action on behalf of those all around us. The ones counting on us to be an effective witness.
So many Christians try to do things in their own strength and struggle without the power available through the Holy Spirit. You can be filled with the powerful Spirit of God where you have the ability to live a supernatural life in a very natural world. In this message, Pastor Tim talks about 3 ways that the Holy Spirit wants to empower us.
Jesus comes into the temple and when He see’s what it’s become, He does not tolerate it. He starts flipping tables, driving out the animals and shouting for them to get this out of there! What made Him so upset? The temple was never supposed to be like this. Ultimately, worship was never supposed to be so cheap and cost so little. Pastor Josiah shares about the original intent of the temple as well as the ultimate heart of worship for each of us today.
Jesus breathed on His disciples and said “Receive the Holy Spirit”. As we dive into Him breathing on them we see a lot of parallels between the Spirit and breath or wind. We don’t normally focus on our breathing. We can, but it’s just something that we do naturally without thinking about it. As natural as it is for us to breath is as normal as it should be for us to walk in the Spirit.
Furthermore, there’s some key things that all need to be doing. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, we’ll not be able to accomplish these things well. We need His help!
It’s close to Valentines day and Pastor Josiah shares some thoughts on marriage and how to keep God at the absolute epicenter of our relationship with Him. He in of Himself is a relationship and out of His capacity for love, created us — built for relationship as well.
It’s our faith that activates a response from God. Much of the Scriptures was God moving on behalf of men and women whose faith moved Him. What are you doing with your faith? It has to become your own! You have to own it and actually do something with the faith you have. Don’t let it sit idly by, collecting dust! Your faith should be moving and unlocking things we never dreamed it would unlock. Just like how Mary unlocked incredible things reserved for a later time when Jesus was at the wedding in Cana. Do something with the faith you have, then watch Him do what only He can in response to that faith — it will release a glory that we all need!
The conviction of the Holy Spirit is a very positive thing. He’s convincing you of the Christ. There’s things in our conduct and character that doesn’t look Christlike and when He convicts us of such things it’s because, in His love He’s working on making us look more like Jesus. This is the end goal of what we all desire! To be like Jesus in all things. His convicting work creates opportunity for us to learn to live yielded to this work. A result of this is being sanctified. He is Jehovah M’Kaddesh - The Lord Who sanctifies. It’s not just what He does, it’s Who He is. We’re not just called to be separate from darkness but to walk in the light. To be holy unto the Lord.
John the Baptist had an incredible ministry of preparation. Getting things ready for the Messiah, but when He showed up, all bets are off! The disciples were leaving their other endeavors to follow Him and bringing those they were in relationship with to follow Him as well. This authentic Gospel was being displayed and the hungry ones were buying into it. We cannot be fake! We must be the real deal, just like Jesus!
An authentic relationship with our LORD backs up and supports His powerful kingdom. Ask the LORD to show you how to love Him. Repent of your old ways of thinking, and seek Him wholeheartedly. Ask the LORD to show you what the kingdom walk looks like everyday so that you can be light and salt in this broken world.

By breaking it down simply in the Scriptures you may discover that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit was not what you thought it was.
The Holy Spirit is a Person. Pastor Josiah does a deep dive into some crucial characteristics of Who the Holy Spirit is and some of His character qualities. He highlights strongly on the fact that the Holy Spirit is still speaking today. Thank God for what He’s said. Thank God for the Bible, which is His written word to us.
