Deep within the Bloodtide Sahuagin Outpost of Thule, our Fearless Franchisees continue to uncover information that could be vital to the war effort. The G-team, and their feisty band of freed slaves exit the Iron Shrimp,. Running low on reserves, spells, and energy, they prepare... for the worst.
Deep within the Bloodtide Sahuagin outpost of Thule, our Fearless Franchisees further investigate the Iron Shrimp, the long lost Dwarven Submersible. The G-team uncovers a warforged platoon, primed and ready for battle, yet inert. What other mysteries will Gold and Glory uncover on board...the Iron Shrimp!
Having freed a group of slaves from their Sahuagin captors, our Fearless Franchisees set about exploring the lower decks of the Dwarven submersible, the Iron Shrimp, an experimental vessel of Clan Cragstone that never returned from its shakedown cruise. Why the Iron Shrimp is docked deep within a subterranean lake beneath the Blood Tide outpost is cause of mystery indeed!
Continuing their first and somewhat arguable stealth Mission, our Fearless Franchisees find themselves in battle with a host of Bloodtide Sahuagin, in a massive subterranean cavern lake, where they also appear to have found the long lost Dwarven submersible, the Iron Shrimp. K’tniss, along with her magical obsidian panther, infiltrates the Drow Slaver ship, in the hopes of sabotaging the raider vessel, in advance of the g-team’s eventual escape...from Thule!
Our Fearless Franchisees continue their so-called Stealth and Reconnaissance mission into the watery depths of the Sahuagin Outpost of Thule, and are faced with the very real possibility that their infiltration will fail horribly, bringing the full might of the Blood Pact down upon them. Kt'Niss has a close encounter of the arachnid kind that reminds her full while while she is really starting to dislike spiders...
The G-team embarks upon its first official stealth mission, and finds themselves prepped and poised with a cunning plan to infiltrate the ex-Lemurian outpost of Thule, which, at first glance seems to be swarming with Sahuagin, Sharks, and a Drow Slaver Ship? Kt’Niss goes on a solo mission, while the rest of the search for a possible underwater entrance to the outpost. I mean...what could go wrong?

Taking a little break from our regularly scheduled Gold and Glory episodes, especially since we just finished a major story arc, and our Fearless Franchisees have leveled up! But in the meantime, here is a special Birthday one-shot, featuring a brand new gnome-positive team, taking on a Mission back in Saltmarsh! Featuring Darrell, who normally plays our beloved Documancer, as DM.
Betrayed by the Fey Spirits turned Evil Hags, our Fearless Franchisees battle for their lives and the fate of the Island, against the Terrifying Soul Harvester, a massive Shadowfell Wyrm able to devour the very life essence of the Island. However, as dangerous as the Soul Harvester is, there remains the Dark Fiend with whom the G-team agreed to free in exchange for restoring Siona back...into her skin. While the team does battle, the Fiend sets about consuming what little life force remains on the island, making things even more treacherous for our heroes, especially when Theo’s agreement with the fiend is to not interfere with anything that should transpire after it is freed. What will come of our heroes?!
Bound by their Dark bargain, our Fearless Franchisees make good on their pact with the Fiend. Under the Fiend’s guidance, the G-team begins a complex ritual sacrifice, where Siona, Theo, and Selina give up some of their most cherished possessions, including a token of friendship, a gift from a goddess, and...True Love. With those impressive offerings made, Siona is restored to her true form, but in turn, the Fiend is loosed into the world...free to consume what remains of the Island's Life force, and worse, the fey spirits they thought were allies, are most certainly not....
Under the Fiend’s guidance, the G-team begins a complex ritual sacrifice, where Siona, Theo, and Selina give up some of their most cherished possessions. Turinn resists temptation. Kt'Niss draws lines in the sand. Offerings made, and some offers declined, Siona is restored to her true form, but in turn, the Fiend is loosed into the world...a dark bargain concluded...but at what cost?
With Siona's soul still separate from her body, our Fearless Franchisees see little choice but to navigate a most perilous path, and deliver upon the Dark Bargain they have struck with an imprisoned Fiend. Free the Fiend to consume the Island Life-Force in return for restoring Siona back...into her skin. What sacrifices will the G-Team make...for Starglimmer?
Gifted by a magical stone from the Sylvan Glade Fey, our Fearless Franchisees continue forward to find the source of the Island’s gift darkness and corruption. However, despite all good intentions, the g-team continues to be plagued by their psychological conditions, and especially with an increasingly cantankerous Selina, a very uncaring Theo, makes it particularly difficult to make progress in solving the mystery of the Isle of Omgar.
Having defeated noxious Musk Creepers, and a zombified T-Rex, our Fearless Franchisees venture further into the Island, encountering a moonlit glade, that seems curiously out of place with the rest of this Island in the Shadowfell. Selina loses her very short temper. The situation with Siona's skin becomes even more precarious...
Still trapped on the mysterious Shadowfell Isle of Omgar, and at a loss on how to restore Siona's soul back into her actual body, the G-team considers making some Dark Bargains with an unknown fiendish entity, who offers its assistance in exchange for its release, which would allow it to consume a powerful, but diminishing life force, somewhere to the North of the Island. Also, Selina has a rousing dream featuring her dashing and handsome lover, Anders, leaving her, well, more than a little bothered....
Having found and defeated the Fiend Glazebru, our Fearless Franchisees try to puzzle through how to restore everyone to their rightful bodies, as Siona, Kt'Niss, and Theo are the victims of a "soul transfer" body swap. Considering this, and the fact that they continue to be trapped in the Shadowfell, Gold and Glory is definitely facing some Dark Bargains...
Responding to a wanted add for adventuring services sub-contractors, our heroes take on protection detail to accompany Lord Eymon Dendarrion ad-Marek, as bodyguards. However, despite their best efforts, they are attacked by shark-riding Sea Elves and their Queen. The Sea-Elves abscond with Lord Eymond, dragging him beneath the waves. Shipwrecked, our heroes find themselves beached upon a tropical island, where they encounter sentient penguin-like tribespeople who reveal that a nearby grove may lead to the Sea Queen, who apparently the penguins, apparently, worship as gods.
Special KATYCON Oneshot Episode featuring Guest (and First Time) GM. Acquisitions Incorporate expands it services, and offers protection detail to rich noble! Maritime Shenanigans Ensue!
What is happening!!!? Ok there is just no way to introduce what is going on without creating massive spoilers, so let’s just say - things are definitely not quite what they seem! This said, our Fearless Franchisees, remain trapped in the Shadowfell, still looking to make repairs to the Sea Ghost, hopefully using the mast from the Drow Slaver Ship, the Soul Reaver. Having managed to extract the Drow treasure chest, they uncover an arcane statuette, and let's just say a few things that they just didn’t expect...
Our Fearless Franchisees delve deep into the bowels of the Drow Slaver Ship Soul Reaver, uncovering luxury spidersilk, a fancy Dark Elf treasure chest, and more than a handful of humanoid forms trussed up in spiderweb cocoons hanging from the ceiling. Some are revealed to be the missing Tortle Hunters, but others are revealed to be Shadowspawn Lost, whose mournful cries of “Found You” are matched only by the fury of their attacks. However, the battle attracts the attention of other denizens of the Soul Reaver, and battle ensues...
Escaping the collapse and calamity on board the Drow Slaver Ship Soul Reaver, the G-Team settles down for some badly needed rest, only to find that that which is desired is not as easily gained...
Still on the search for the missing Tortle hunters, our Fearless Franchisees delve deeper into the lower decks of the Drow Pirate Ship Soul Reaver. Amongst other things, they find...cargo, and...cocoons?
Our Fearless Franchises continue their exploration of the Drow Pirate Ship Soul Reaver, and their search for the missing Tortle Hunters, setting off an Arcane Glyph and finding a hidden shrine, a grotesque monstrosity, and attracting strage undead Drow, who enter the fray, attracted by the the sound and fury emanating from within. Selina feels the need to Summon Water, and Theo tries his hand at turning undead...
And now, back to our story
Having tracked the Tortle hunters to the Scar, our Fearless Franchisees find a beached, and damaged Pirate Ship, apparently of Drow design. Still afflicted by their various neuroses, the g-team ventures on board, exploring further in their search for the missing Tortles. Selina casts a water spell. Siona summons a Fey Spirit, and Theo makes a gamble...does it pay off? Find out, on Gold and Glory - Bloodtide Rising!
Afflicted by the same collective madness that seems to be spreading throughout the Sea Ghost, Siona rejoins the rest of the G-Team at Shellhaven, the Tortle Village. Our Fearless Franchises pledge to find the missing Tortle Hunters, who were sent into an area of the village named the "Scar", only to find an apparently abandoned Drow Pirate Raiding Ship! Siona tries to jump off a cliff. Siona becomes Selina. Or is it Selina becoming Siona? Hard to tell really.
Siona wakes from her beauty sleep on board the Sea Ghost, only to find her companions missing, and things a little topsy turvy with herself, the Captain and Crew. Meanwhile, the rest of the G-team travel with Mudgraw the Tortle to the village of Shellhaven. Turinn, Siona and cabinboy James go for a little seaside flight, Edeth sees double, and Selina becomes....a party girl?
Having proven Selina's theory that the Sea Ghost is no longer in the Prime Material Plane, but if the everpresent twilight gloom is any indication, they may in fact be in the Shadowfell. Undaunted, the g-team sets sail towards an uncharted isle to the port bow, where they hope they can retrieve materials to repair the damaged ship. But stranger things are definitely in store for our fearless franchisees....
Having weathered the mystical ravages of a terrible Shadowstorm, the g-team and the crew of the Sea Ghost pick up the pieces and set sail into uncharted waters. Selina gets hot and bothered. Theo experiments on the crew and Edeth rebuffs yet another deity. Will wonders never cease?
Our Fearless Franchisees set sail northwards towards the Lemurian outpost of Thule, leaving behind their expanded security, energy drink, and spa operations with Bonnie the Celestial Clam, and Tiq Toq, the Lizardman security chief to hold down the proverbial fort. Heigh Ho, and away we go...into the Wild Blue Yonder!
Having dispatched a bevy of Imps and mechanical dogs, our heroes enter the building they presume to be Team Rakshasa's Headquarters, foregoing stealth and subtlety for sheer power, they breakdown the mansion doors and enter, only to find themselves surrounded by a number of perfectly crafted statues. Raven judges hard. Fizz mistimes his firebolt. Kaishin does (quite a bit of) parkour, and Elika comes of age. And Kratos...well Kratos...is Kratos. All this an more on Part B of Raiders of the Lost Real Estate!
As the G-team prepares to depart on their scouting expedition to Thule, plans and preparations are made to kickstart their Lemurian operations. Theo receives some high grade documentation, and a note from the CEO. Edeth has a really weird dream. Siona and Bonnie clam it up. Kt'Niss loses some promising candidates, and Turinn misses a Royal opportunity.
All this and more on Gold and Glory - Blood Tide Rising!

Kt'Niss and Siona start a new marching band. Siona develops and markets another Gold and Glory drink product. Edeth leads a group vote on next steps, and Selina makes a new friend. All this and more, on Gold and Glory - Blood Tide Rising!
Our season 2 premiere! Having stopped a civil war and insurrection in Lemuria, our Fearless Franchisees get a chance for some badly needed downtime, and begin taking care of business that they haven't had the bandwidth to attend to. Edeth holds a big vote. Theo casts an augury. Kt'niss samples some shellfish, and Selina makes a charming new friend! All this and more on Gold and Glory - Bloodtide Rising!
Despite almost insurmountable odds, the G-team claims a very narrow victory against the Regent Lord Abraxis and his insurrectionist co-conspirators, and Queen Sorsha is restored to her rightful place on the Throne of Lemuria. Theo solicits customer feedback. Siona negotiates some expedited leatherwork, Selina's predictions largely come true, and Turinn...well you'll just have to find out won't you?
With Queen Sorcha released from her curse, our fearless franchisees quickly move to find the Regent, only to find that he, and his elite Dragonguard, are doing the same, and are scouring the Royal chambers for the interlopers. Lemuria's finest, against an exhausted g-team? Bring it on!
Emerging from the Maelstrom, a massive underwater shrine and ziggurat emerges, literally a new island in emergence. The g-team gets their own personalized divine or mystical revelations, and Turinn, the proud owner of yet another new magic sword, also grows more alternate body parts. Reunited with Princess Chronaar, and faced with a possible insurrection, the G-team has some important, and difficult decisions to make!
Emerging from the Maelstrom, the Ziggurat Shrine rises above the waters, streaming a beacon of radiance that pierces into the sky itself, giving birth to a new island in the centre of Lake Lemuria, and out pop our heroes, who, each in their own way, have a mysterious encounter with powers beyond the pale. And Turinn? He transforms....again!
Entering the lower chambers of the underwater shrine, our Fearless Franchisees arrive at a nexus of primal power, the site where the ley lines converge, and where, with Selina's help, a Dragonborn Celestial is trapped within the confines of a Magic Circle. But treachery abounds, as Minister Sauriv is revealed to be a powerful agent of the Shadows, summoning through a dark rift, terrifying new allies - the Shadar Kai! Does this (gasp!) mean a Total Party Kill? Is this our LAST episode of the G-team?
Entering the lower chambers of the underwater shrine, our Fearless Franchisees arrive at a nexus of primal power, the site where the ley lines converge, and where, with Selina's help, a Dragonborn Celestial is trapped within the confines of a Magic Circle. Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas! Oh sorry, wrong podcast. Which is this one now? Oh! Gold and Glory? You mean the special episode? You mean the one where there are meandering miscreants, oh sorry exploited entrepreneurs that are subcontracted by Dran Enterprises...oh right. No affiliation whatsoever with Dran Enterprises… anyways, these meandering miscreants, have accepted a mission to infiltrate the corporate headquarters/floating casino of Gold and Glory. Yup. That one!
A "Gold and Glory" take like you've never seen before. An alternate tale of adventure, intrigue, and corporate machinations - featuring special one-shot guest players, and a special one-shot Dungeon Master, who normally players the role of our brash and beloved bard, Siona. In more ways than one, it’s a tale of the “lower decks” on board the Sea Ghost. Enjoy!
When last we saw our heroes…
Returning the pearl to Bonnie, the giant clam provides them a white pearl, which when merged with Clive’s black pearl unlocks the portal, which until now, has eluded all of the g-team’s attempts to open. Silvery radiance floods into the chamber, and appearing in the place of their stone statues, are three hauntingly beautiful guardian spirits, who speak together with one voice, asking each member of the g-team: “Are you Pilgrim, or Penitent? What sacrifice do you bring? Why should we deem you worthy?”
For some, the answer is easy - words are spoken, and offerings are made. Others struggle with their answer, unaccustomed to the true presence of divinity, or the call for sacrifice. But answers are given, and blessings are received. For all except Turinn - who the spirits accuse of abomination and desecration, moving as one, without mercy, to strike him down.
And now, back to our story.
