Hi! Welcome to The Still More Show! We are Elliot Wilson and Jon Maddern, and we are Still More, a Christian band from Leicester, UK. In order to give people a little more than just our music, we decided to start this podcast! Featuring a range of great guests every episode, each with different specialist areas of wisdom and knowledge, we look to discuss writing and recording music, as well as our faith and our lifestyle as young adults in the 21st Century. We met Shauna in a youth group in our early teens, before she was a Christian. We've seen the incredible journey she's been on in finding God and that's why we invited her on to share the story. This week we’re joined by our good friend Chloe Webster, a mental health worker who has worked on the frontline for the NHS throughout this whole Covid-19 crisis. She reveals lots of fascinating NHS behind the scenes info, and we chat about how this crisis has affected her job and the lifestyle of so many others.
Also, excitingly we recorded this episode face-to-face for the first time ever! So there may be the occasionally background noise but overall we love the difference it makes being together in one spot!
This week our guest is Nick Packer. Alongside our previous guest Matt Pidgeon, Nick founded and runs an active initiative for young adults at Holy Trinity Church in Leicester, and works as a graphic designer. In fact, he designed the logo for this very podcast!

Luke is one of our very best mates, and basically the unofficial third member of the group. Currently studying physics and astrophysics at University of Sheffield, Luke has always been “the smart one” in our trio. So we decided to challenge him with some deep topics including alcohol, money and general student lifestyle. It was great to have him on, and no doubt you’ll hear from him again before long.

Matt has mentored me (Elliot) since I was 16. He's blessed me with so much advice and guidance in my faith as well as generally in my day-to-day life, and is genuinely one of the best guys I know. He’s also got loads of experience leading worship in venues big and small, and in songwriting too. It's a massive honour to have him on our show, we hope you enjoy!
