Pastor Preston continues to teach the sermon series Next: the first convenient. He looks at the things Jesus brings in his covenant to us. God continues to make promises to His people. The bible is the book of God's promise to us, when Jesus held up that cup this is the new covenant in my blood he is painting a brand new relationship with God's people.
What does it look like to be faithful to God? Looking at the next part of the story of Noah, Pastor Evan shares on how was Noah chosen. God finds favour in Noah. What does it look like to find favour in the eyes of the Lord? It looks like grace. The question is do we believe God is who he says he is and does what he says he will do?
Pastor Evan kicks off the new sermon series "Next" with a look back at Noah's story. He shares the story from God's perspective as we look at what is happening in the midst of some pretty harsh truths. What would it look like to accept the truth in the midst of all the questions God has laid on your heart? Maybe those questions are meant to propel you into an uncertain, unknown space where God will meet you. Join as we use Noah's story to explore the truths and questions it brings.
Join Pastor Evan as he shares on Christmas Eve all the places where God shows up in the Christmas story. The great story God is telling here is about him showing up in a dirty, messy barn. God is completely comfortable in our messy, chaotic lives.
Join Pastor Preston as he explores Jesus' unfailing love for us. Love came from an unexpected place from a young girl and her husband. As Pastor Preston discusses the ways that Jesus is the light for us and how he came to show us God's love for us.
Pastor Evan shares this first Sunday in advent on hope. Hope grows in the waiting seasons of our life. God seems to do something significant in waiting. What can we learn in those periods of waiting?
Pastor Evan unpacks the story of the blind man, Bartimaeus and the restoration of his sight from Jesus. Pastor Evan dives into the seemingly obvious question Jesus asks what do you want me to do for you? We, like Bartimaeus, ask Jesus to come into our stories and our lives to renew in us what is already there. We have to ask ourselves are we watching for those places? What would it look like for us to cry out and not let the moment pass.
Pastor Preston explores wisdom in knowing the extent that God loves us. Jesus demonstrated wisdom is lived in a loving relationship with God. And God wants us to KNOW we are loved and FEEL we are loved. But do we?
