But it turns out that kind of obedience, while indeed simple, is actually quite radical in what we have to do to get there. note, we are going to do a very cool, extremely important family thing this Sunday. If ever you attend Sunday morning, this is one where we need you to be there this weekend. Literally, a group experience that just won’t be nearly the same on Streaming. Since this is so much a Lake Sammer thing, not the Sunday to bring a guest. They will likely like it, since it will be so powerful, but still, a family moment.
Last week we looked at the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, this week we look at the very most precious gift gave us – better than miracles, better than healing, better than prophecy, this is the one that unlocks all those and more! Like last week, this one is to be experienced.
In yet another of our ongoing sermons where the Lord is so incredibly orchestrating each one, where Robert ended his fantastic sermon last week, I begin. Giving a sermon the Lord gave me in one fell swoop before I had ever heard Robert’s. Bottom line, He wants us to walk in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and so we will. A must be there sermon.
When we try to build our home in the world, we lose our taste for the good things of God. Come hear how the Holy Spirit can reset our perspective and give us hope for what God has yet to do!
What if the way we do Christianity is just a small shell of what God intended it to be? If you’re frustrated that your relationship with God isn’t what it could be, be encouraged and learn that there’s more!

Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions. As a "Christian" what are our aspirations? Are we running towards the right things in life? What does God really expect from us? Let's take a look at one of the timeless stories from the Bible and see how it helps us to recalibrate our desires in this day and age.
Luke takes us to a place this week that is very much connected to what’s happening in our world. And so we’re going to take a moment and see what God for us in that.
What does God being the I AM really mean to us on a practical level? God has something really touching to share with us this weekend. Come experience it in fullness!!!

But then ask yourself a question: if God could've put me in a much "better" family, why didn't He? What if the answer is that He had something much better for you overall?
