As a service provider myself, I know how challenging it is to stand out from the crowd & acquire new business from your online marketing efforts.
For the past 10+ years, I’ve helped dozens of plastic surgeons, dermatologists, & other aesthetic providers grow their business through online marketing. And what I’ve learned is that to attract new clients (or patients) from your marketing efforts, you have to be able to verbally & visually articulate who you are, how you can help, & how you’re different than your peers.
This weekly show is going to help you become more confident on camera, create content that differentiates you, & develop a marketing strategy that works!
How much time do you spend creating Instagram Reels each week? Hours? Or perhaps it’s so overwhelming and time consuming that you’ve given up creating Reels altogether. To top it off, the most frustrating part with Reels is the shelf life. Once it’s published it just gets pushed down further and further into your feed until it's no longer seen.
But what if there was a better way? A process that allowed you to repurpose your video content on your website, email newsletters, and more.
On today’s episode I’m going to share with you a new strategy I’ve been using with clients that’s allowed us to become:
Imagine for a moment all of your peers around a one mile radius (15 miles if you're in a more rural area) that offer the exact same services as you. Why would your client/patient choose you versus them? This is the question they're asking themsevles and the answer to that question needs to be addressed in your marketing. And one of the ways I teach this to my clients is by developing what I refer to as your, "Signature Promise". Being able to verbally and visually articulate:
On today's episode you're going to learn:
Hey Stranger! I know, it's been a hot minute. No, nothing went wrong. In fact, the opposite occured and we had some of the fastest growth we've experienced in years. And unfortnately the podcast had to take a little bit of a back seat.
However, now that the dust has settled I've had some time to reflect and I'm super excited to hit that restart button with you and share with you new stories, strategies, content, and lessons I've learned along the way. Let's dive in!
Have you ever thought to yourself that posting on Instagram, creating video content, going live, etc., etc., etc. is a waste of time? That word-of-mouth is a better strategy than online marketing to grow your business? Side note, word-of-mouth is great but you’re leaving your success in someone else’s hands.
On today’s episode, I’m going to help you connect the dots between your online marketing efforts and your bottom line (your revenue). I’m going to show you exactly how they’re connected and what you need to be doing to make your marketing work for you.
As a lifelong student of marketing and advertising, I'm always studying and learning from the best in the field. Recently, I've been enjoying "Confessions of an Advertising Man" by David Ogilvy and I was struck by a particular section he called his "Last Will and Testiment". It's an eleven point list of some of the most valuable lessons he's learned in his career. As I was reading it, I couldn't help but notice just how much of his knowledge and insights still apply in today's modern marketing and advertising.
On today's episode, I'm sharing his eleven point list and my take on what it means for us today in marketing.
There's so noise on the internet related to getting better results with your social media marketing efforts. Use more hashtags, use less hashtags, go live once a week, post everyday, post less often, only create Instagram Reels, and on and on. Which leads us to ask the question, "what really works with social media?".
On today's episode I'm going to share with you 3 essenial lessons I've learned over the past 15 years of working with clients and their social media marketing efforts.
One of the biggest mistakes I see with clients is not having a clearly defined niche. Or, on the flip side, having too many niches resulting in their marketing efforts being spread too thin. On today’s episode, we’re going to tackle this “niche drama” (a term one of my coaches coined) to discuss:
If you’ve ever tried to create video content for your social media, you may have been disappointed at how you look or sound on camera. In fact, most of us tend look dull and boring on video when we’re first starting out. As a result, you may have come to the conclusion that you’re just not good on video. But I want to offer that this is the farthest from the truth.
You see, most of us talk on camera as if we’re speaking in daily life. And THAT is the problem. Because you’re not talking to friends and family, you’re talking into a lens.
On today’s episode I’m going to share with you a little-known secret that’s going to help you increase your engagement, convert more of your followers, and ultimately look more confident on camera.
Have you ever thought to yourself, ‘I have no idea what to post today’? Or perhaps you are posting content but it’s kind of all over the place. Or maybe you’ve been posting content for a while now and have just run out of ideas.
Your content marketing strategy is arguably one of the most important ingredients in your marketing. Your content is what will differentiate you, position you as an expert in your industry, and will help to attract your ideal clients/patients.
On today’s episode, I’m going to share with you 5 corners of the internet that I personally visit to find inspiration for both my content and my client’s content.
TikTok is the fastest growing social media app today with over 1 billion active daily users (according to Forbes). That stat alone makes any digital marketer pause and take note, but does this mean that you should add TikTok into your social media strategy? Is it an effective platform to convert your followers into clients/patients?
As with most things in marketing, I don’t think there’s a clear-cut answer.
On today’s episode, I’m going to share with you my TikTok strategy that’s has helped me to maintain a presence without spending hours creating content. I’m also going to share some questions to consider that’ll help you make a decision whether to add TikTok into your social strategy.
Horizontal videos for your Instagram Reels?!?!? Yes, you heard me correct! Although Instgram Reels, by nature, is a vertical channel I actually film a majority of my video content horizontally because it allows me to repurpose video content more easily.
On today's episode I'm going to:
How are you different from your peers/competitors? It’s one of the most challenging questions to answer in your marketing, and one of the most important. When your competition is offering the exact same services, you have to differentiate yourself and communicate that differentiation in your marketing.
On today’s episode, I’m going to:
1 – Explain what is value (as it relates to your marketing)
2 – Share some examples of how
3 – Share some simple exercises you can try to help you articulate your value in your marketing.
New, weekly episodes are returning! On this mini-bonus episode I’m going to share with you what’s transpired over the past few weeks and some exciting new announcements.
Last week I had a highly successful LIVE Masterclass where I taught an exclusive group of dentists how to become more confident on camera using some of my most successful tools and techniques I teach my clients. Best of all, the entire ticket price for the Masterclass went directly to sponsor childrens' education in India.
So on today's episode I thought I'd give you a little debreif of how the class went (including a mildly stressful tech glitch I experienced) and share some of the questions and answers I received from the group.
Word-of-mouth referrals is probably the most effective marketing channel to build your business but relying on it can get you into trouble. And when I say “relying” I’m talking about businesses whose primary source of leads is generated through word-of-mouth. Afterall, what happens if those referrals all of a sudden dry up? When you rely on word-of-mouth, you’re relying on someone else for your success.
On today’s episode, I’m going to share with you a better marketing strategy that will help diversify your lead generation sources so you no longer are reliant on other people for your success.
Marketing is NOT Advertising. It’s not posting on social, sending out emails, or creating videos. It’s all of that and MORE! And, in my opinion, it’s one of the most important ingredients of your business.
Professor Google has hundreds of different answers as to what marketing is. Some of them are accurate, others are not, and some answers are just plain confusing.
On today’s episode, I’m going to break it down and really simplify what marketing is, why you need it, and the direct connection between your marketing efforts and your business growth.
We all procrastinate to some level, but what happens when your procrastination becomes so intense that it stops you from moving forward in your marketing goals?
Perhaps you're not posting consistently on social media. Maybe you've been wanting to redesign your website but having taken any steps. Or maybe you've been thinking about adding video into your marketing but you keep putting it off.
By the way, if any of the above sounds familiar then welcome to the club my friend! As a 'recovering perfectionist' mystelf I am very familiar with all of the above exmplaes.
On today's episode I'm going to share some of insights on how to move past perfectionsim and procrastination so you can start making progress in your marketing goals.

On today's episode, I'm introducing one of my most popular tools I teach clients. I'll explain to you how it works and give you some real-world examples so you can use it in your marketing to grow your business.
Have you ever read the title of a video, podcast, or article but after clicking on the link, watching the video, or reading the article you felt like there was a gap between the subject line and the content?
Not only does this feel icky, but it can also damage trust between that brand which is why knowing how to construct a good headline is important for all of us to understand.
On today's episode I'm going to:
Creating fresh, new content and developing an effective strategy to advance your marketing goals isn’t something most of use spend too much time on. Especially when you have 50 million other tasks that can be attributed to new revenue.
But brainstorming is actually one of the most powerful exercises and skills you can utilize in your business to create better content that’s going to keep your followers engaged and advance your marketing goals to grow your revenue.
The problem, most of us do it wrong. On today's episode I'm going to share with you a 4-step Framework that's going to spark more creative ideas to grow your business.
This 4-Step Brainstorming Framework includes:
Communicating how you're different in your marketing is hard. Like, really hard. But this is a topic that's incredibly important to talk about because the easier it is for your followers and prospects to understand exactly how you can help them, the better. So on today's episode I'm going to share some of the questions I ask my clients to help get their synapsis sparking on how they're different from their competition.
Knowing the type of content your audience wants to consume from you - whether that's in your videos, social content, or website - can be challenging. The primary reason for this is because we're very close to our business. And sometimes that closeness can result in a loss of objectivity.
So on today's episode, I'm going to teach you a 4 step process on how you can create the binge-worthy content that your audience desires!
Today we're diving into the top 5 marketing myths I hear from my clients which is holding you back from your business growth. I think once you hear why these are myths and false beliefs it's going to give you some real clarity and help you take your business to that next level.
Myth 1: Marketing is advertising
Myth 2: You have to be confident on camera before committing to creating video.
Myth 3: Marketing works for them, but not for me.
Myth 4: You need tons of followers on social media in order to turn them into customers.
Myth 5: Creating consistent content takes too much time.
Video has become one of the most important channels in our marketing mix. What do followers want to hear?

Close to 80% of people watch videos online with the sound turned off, which is why adding captions is so important. But if you're not technical, adding captions can feel overwhelming. Luckily today there are so many tools available that make adding captions super easy.
On today's episode I'm going to go over some of the tools and techniques you can use to add captions to you Instagram Stories, IGTVs, livestreams, Youtube videos and more!
Have you ever had an experience where you had an image in your mind of what something costs and the experience of that brand only to discover the exact opposite?
Maybe it was at a hotel or restaurant you visited in the past or an experience with a service provider you hired.
I refer to this as a “Perception Gap”; when there’s a perceived gap between what you envision from a brand vs. what’s delivered.
In my experience, I’ve found these gaps tend to originate from the words we’re using in our marketing. That could include the words on your website, in your social media captions, or even in the videos you’re creating.
On today’s episode of the podcast I’m going to explain what Perception Gaps are and how you can avoid creating them in your marketing. You’ll hear an example of how I accidentally created a Perception Gap when I was first starting my business. And you’ll learn a simple exercise on how you can verbalize what sets you apart from your competition in your marketing.
It’s not often that a new social media app comes along with the potential to disrupt the current social giants.
I think most social media experts thought TikTok was the next big player. But one lesson I learned in 2020 is that when the landscape radically shifts, the businesses who are able to pivot and see the new opportunities can thrive.
Enter Clubhouse. A new audio-only live-streaming app that allows anyone to host a virtual room.

The purpose of your call-to-action isn’t to get someone contact you. The purpose is to get them to take the next step with you.
That might be for them to contact you, but it also might be for them to follow you, like a piece of content, subscribe to your channel or newsletter.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to dive deeper into what your CTA really is all about, how to pair it with the stage of awareness that your prospects are on, & a quick exercise that’s going to help you generate bank of CTAs within minutes.

About This Episode:
“So, what do you do”? It’s one of the first questions we’re typically asked when we meet someone new, and yet it’s not easy to express that answer in our marketing.
For some of us the answer tends to be on default - I'm a nurse injector, I'm a doctor, I'm a lawyer I’m an engineer, etc.
But when we say that in our marketing, it’s not enough. Because it doesn’t tell people how you’re different than your competition & why they should do business with you.
So on this week’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to introduce a concept that’s going to set yourself apart from your completion so it is crystal clear in your marketing what it is that you do.
It’s called your “Origin Story”. On today's episode, I’m going to explain:
✔️ What an Origin Story is.
✔️ Why it’s one of the most valuable assets in your marketing toolbox,
✔️ And give you an example of my Origin Story so you can hear what an Origin Story sounds like.

Your cell phone has the power to create professional looking videos for your business.
When I was first starting creating videos as part of my marketing packages for clients I wasn’t using a fancy camera, microphone or lighting. Nope, none of that. The only tool I had in my kit was my cell phone.
In fact, some of those videos generated thousands of dollars of revenue for my clients.
The camera is just 1 part of your video. More importantly is:
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to teach you 4 different levels of creating professional looking videos. Starting with an investment as little as $19.99.
How many Internet marketing gurus have you heard say that if you have a business you need to be on social media?
You need to create feed posts, make Stories, Reels, and all the other hoop-lah. But what happens when you spend all this time and energy creating content and all you hear are crickets!?! What’s the point if none of your followers are turning into leads?
Many business owners inevitably conclude that all this content creation is just a waste of time and figure they’ll rely on word-of-mouth marketing to grow their business.
Pump the breaks my friend because that' s a HUGE mistake.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to explain:
And I promise, that last statement isn’t click-bait. I have a tangible strategy that I’ve personally used to create content that converts.
Becoming the face of your business is essential for 2021. And yet, it’s so challenging to consistently show up in your marketing when you have a zillion other tasks.
Serving our clients, posting on social media, meetings, cooking, cleaning, caring for our kids or fur babies...Whew, I’m exhausted just thinking about all of that.
And yet, we know that people do business with other people, not with logos. So how do we show up consistently when it feels like there aren’t enough hours in the day?!
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast I’m going to share with you some tips & strategies that’ll help you become the face of your brand without feeling overwhelmed & pulled in different directions.
"Let's make some videos". What's the first feeling you have when you read that?
Fear, anxiety, stress? I've been making videos for years and I still get a little anxious when I hit that record button.
Here's the thing. If you're anxious about creating video, I guarantee your competition feels the same way. So if you're able to move past that discomfort, you can have a significant competitive advantage!
On today's episode, we're going to explore how adding video into your marketing mix can become your super power in your business!
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast I sat down with my friend Nathalia Porras to talk about social media marketing strategies for healthcare providers.
I first met Nathalia through a mutual Instagram friend and was introduced to her YouTube program – Digital Dental Marketing Made Easy – where she teaches dentists the ins-and-outs of online marketing so that dental practices could bypass the social media marketing overwhelm and rather start leveraging it.
During our chat we covered topics such as:
What’s the first word that comes to mind when I say, “selling”.
Oftentimes we think of that aggressive used car salesman. The one that makes you feel like you’re being taken advantage of because the only thing they care about is your money.
That’s not you and I know that’s not you because you’re here.
However, for some reason this ‘icky’ feeling tends to surface when we talk about selling our services on Instagram.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast we’re going to go over 3 strategies that’s going to help you turn your followers into leads without feeling sleazy.
Having the data available to know what’s moving the needle in your marketing efforts isn’t the issue. Interpreting the data is the problem.
Think of your Instagram Insights as an example. IG provides you with a plethora of information. The question is, how do we take that information & digest it so we can make informed decisions.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, we’re diving into the 5th step in my Conversion Marketing Formula – Measure Your Success.
I’m going to explain:
On today’s episode, we’re diving into the 4th Pillar of my Conversion Marketing Formula, which is to ‘Integrate Your Content’ into your marketing. I’ll explain to you why it’s so much easier to attract people’s attention vs. retain it and how you can keep your business on your prospects’ top of mind.
Have you ever said to yourself, “Marketing works for them, but it doesn’t work for me”?
It’s a theme I hear over and over again, but in order to know if your marketing is working for you or not you have to have the tools in place to measure your success. On today’s episode, I’m going to introduce you to one of my favorite tools to measure the ROI of my marketing efforts called, “Pretty Links”.
Pretty Links is a tool that allows you to:
You’ll hear how I’ve used it in my business and I’m going to give you 2 examples of how I think it can benefit your online marketing efforts.
Content marketing can feel like this mysterious marketing strategy that everyone’s talking about but yet no one really knows why they’re doing it. Everyone says you have to post every day on social, create your InstaStories, and make video, but why? How is that moving the needle forward in your business?
Well on today’s episode I’m going to share with you how when you use content marketing with intention you’re able to propel your business to its next level.
No fluff. These are real world examples and results that I’ve personally been a part of and I think it’ll inspire you to start showing up more in your marketing.
Today we’re going to be chatting about the 2nd Pillar of my Online Marketing Framework, your “Strategy”.
I think this is one of the most challenging Pillars because it requires you to have a clear sense of your goal. And marketing without having a clear strategy is simply a waste of time.
So on today’s episode, I’m going to talk about the 3 primary reasons your strategy is most likely not working and how you can fix it.
Would it surprise you to hear that most of my big clients are unclear of their niche and their positioning?
The 2 go together like peanut butter & jelly.
I think part of this reason is because that word “niche” can feel very limiting.
On one hand, you’re being told that you shouldn’t go too wide because then you’re lost in a sea of noise.
On the other hand, niching down feels like you’re potentially missing out.
Well friend, I believe there’s a 3rd option. One that’s in between where you can go wide with your audience but simultaneously be very specific in your positioning.
I call this concept your “Signature Promise”. It’s the trifecta of being able to verbally & visually articulate:
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to explain why it’s important to niche and how you can use this Signature Promise to go wide in your messaging, but specific. I’m also going to give you 2 examples of businesses that have successfully created their Signature Promises so you can see what it looks like in practice.
My first video took me 4 hours to film and it was only 2 minutes in length. I know, right!?!? It was exhausting! Not just for me but for my videographer as well.
Putting yourself out there on video isn’t easy at first. It can feel very uncomfortable. You’re worried about what people might say, how you look, how you sound…at least those were the thoughts running through my head.
But what I realized over the years is that those fears were only temporary. And as showed up on camera more often video started to feel more comfortable.
Today on the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m sharing with you the 3 steps I took to help eliminate the fear of putting myself out there on video. It’s not rocket science and it’s not a magic pill.
But, these are the 3 steps I do every single time I hit record. And through this practice, I’ve been able to overcome my fear of video.
What if I told you that it wasn’t your website, social profiles, or the marketing agency you hired preventing you from achieving success in your business?
What if I told you, that it’s your belief system that’s holding you back?
And I’m not talking anything woo-woo here. I’m talking about tangible beliefs that you presently have, perhaps unconsciously, that if you were to acknowledge for a moment could being substantial growth to your business.
Friends, today’s interview on the Online Marketing & Media Podcast is one that’s going to give you so many “ah-ha” moments, I think you be tempted to listen to it more than once.
I’m interviewing my mentor and speaking coach Heather Sager and we’re breaking down the “5 Beliefs Separating You from Success”.
Heather helps entrepreneurs structure their ideas, clarify their message and hone their speaking skills so they can deliver magnetic live presentations, videos and workshops that grow their authority. She’s spoken on stages around the globe teaching 6 & 7 figure business owners how to grow their businesses using effective communication.

A majority of businesses DO NOT have a documented content marketing strategy.
Let that sink in for a moment.
Your content strategy is so important because we know that your prospects aren’t going to purchase from you when they discover you for the first time. So your content needs to give them a reason to come back to your website or social media platforms.
So how do you get your prospects attention and keep it? By thinking of your content marketing like a TV network.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to:
What you’re doing right now in your marketing will most likely not be the steps you need to take to reach your goal.
How do I know that? Because those action steps created the result you have now.
If you want a different result, then you have to take a different set of actions.
Said in another way, the same inputs (actions) will always give you the same output (result). If you want a different output, you need different inputs.
But what if you’re not sure what action steps you need to take in order to achieve your desired result?
Well on today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to introduce you to a new concept I call, “The 10% Rule”. This is a technique that I’m actively practicing and have already started to see AMAZING results with.
If you’ve been looking for that step-by-step formula to reach your marketing goals, this is a must hear episode!
Creating consistent content can sometimes feel like you’re on a never-ending hamster wheel.
How can you become a media-first personal brand – i.e. blogging, creating video, or live-streaming once/week – when you’re struggling show up on social media consistently?
In fact, this is the same problem that held me back from creating my weekly podcasts. There just weren’t enough hours in the day.
Until I figured out how to “remix” my content.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to teach you:
How long after you started your business did the rainbows and unicorns wear off? Don’t get me wrong, we all love our business. It’s our baby. But after the restless nights, anxiety of cash flow, we all come to the realization that running a successful business is hard!
Especially when those questions start to flood into your mind:
Somewhere along this journey of questions, you’ve found me and today on the Online Marketing & Media Podcast I’m going to help you with that last question – how do you stand out?
I’m going to explain:
My goal of today’s episode, is to get those gears turning & your synapsis sparking, so you can start applying this podcast to your business.
What if I told you there was a new Instagram tool that has the potential to give you a competitive advantage over your peers who have the Swipe Up feature?
Oooo! Did I get your attention now?!?!
You see, it’s difficult to get your followers to take any action on your IG account because you only get 1 link (unless you have over 10K followers and access to the Swipe Up feature).
But the tool I’m talking about on today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast is going to make that Swipe Up feature a dream of the past.
It’s called Tap.Bio and it allows you to create a mini-website that looks like your IG Story all within that one clickable bio link.
It’s the first tool that’s part of a new segment I’m launching on the podcast called “Reviews”. I’m going to introduce you to some of my favorite online marketing tools and do a deep dive into their features, pros, & cons.
When prospective clients ask me, “What’s the secret sauce for growing my business?” I tell them all the exact same answer. There is none.
Even if I gave you the step-by-step process of how I’ve doubled a client’s business in less than a year (yes that’s happened), there’s no guarantee it would work for you.
Why? Because not everyone commits to my 300% rule. I have to put in 150% and you have to put in a 150%.
However, the clients that do commit to striving to put in 150% always succeed, because the fundamentals that go into successful online marketing are the same.
So on today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to share with you 5 Common Denominators that have helped to propel my client’s business forward.
These are actionable steps you can take right now to accelerate your business growth. It might not happen today or tomorrow, but if you’re consistent with these 5 common denominators you will see the results!
Putting yourself “out there” in your marketing when you’re an introvert can sometimes make you want to cringe.
I know because I too am an introvert and it can make me cringe.
So on today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m answering a question from one of my listeners – Dianne – about how to put yourself out there on social media when you’re an introvert.
You’ll hear how a tiny shift in your vernacular will deepen your follower’s trust in you, how to take action when you’re paralyzed with fear, and why discomfort is the secret to moving the needle forward in your marketing.
Have you ever thought to yourself, what are my competitors doing who are consistently getting those leads from their marketing? You know the ones I’m talking about. They’re the ones with the large followers on Instagram & Facebook. You know they’re getting a lot of business because they’ve got tons of before & after photos. And they’re all new.
What are they doing differently?
What is their secret sauce?
And how can you get your hands on it?
Well one common denominator is that they’re using a mixed-media content strategy.
On today’s episode, I’m going to explain:
Adding video into my online marketing strategy was one of the BIGGEST mistakes I’ve made.
Yep, you heard me right!
But there’s a twist, because simultaneously I’m not suggesting that you should completely get right of video either. The mistake was more of 'how' I introduced video into my marketing strategy.
So on today’s episode, I’m going to:
What do you do when you feel like your marketing isn't working and you're not sure how to fix it?
On todays episode, I’m going to share with you a very simple framework - attract, convert, & retain, that's going that you can use to fall back on when you're feeling that overwhelm to recalibrate your marketing strategy.
Covid has now become an objection. Meaning, your prospects are looking for how you intend to ensure their safety before they return to your business.
But here’s the catch, they’re not going to ask you directly. They’re going to look at your marketing to find the answer.
So on today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to answer the question “How do I address Covid in my marketing communication with my clients/patients?”
Specifically, I’m going to explain:
Today is Part 2 of my chat with Heather Terveen where she interviewed me for her podcast. I wanted to share this with you because although we’re both in the same industry we have different backgrounds & approaches which makes us both similar but unique.
We covered a range of topics including:
Video is important in your marketing, but sometimes the ‘right’ photo can convert your followers much more than video.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I sat down with @heatherterveen, a business coach who specializes in helping aesthetic providers in their social media and she’s the founder of The Skin Socialite.
We spoke on a range of topics including:
Heather has developed a unique concept where she uses a curated approach to stock images for her clients. I don’t want to go too deep into it, I’d rather you hear it from her directly, but I know you’re going to love her concept.
Okay so this might feel a little uncomfortable for you, because today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast centers around putting yourself out there more.
On the flip side, however, this is the answer to differentiating yourself from your peers. And friends, when you can verbally and visually articulate how you’re differentiate then your peers…that’s when your growth really starts to pick-up.
I’m talking about positioning yourself as a personal brand. This is the online marketing strategy I personally use for my own business and all of my clients. And the reason I believe in this so much is because it works.
So on today’s episode, you’re going to learn:
I also have some examples of multi-national companies that have used this same strategy. Household names you’ll recognize who have seen tremendous growth opportunities.
If you want to learn how to differentiate yourself from your peers, today’s episode is for you.
What do you do when you run out of ideas on what type of content you should be creating?
I think this is something that a lot of us are experiencing right now for 2 reasons:
But here’s the problem, if you’re not actively continuing with your online marketing efforts – updating social, creating your weekly content like video, livestreams, blog posts, or podcasts – it will be the kiss of death for your business.
We have to stay relevant during this time, so when we are no long on pause and can safely re-open, our business is still thriving.
So on today’s episode I’m going to give you 4 Ways to Get Unstuck When You Run Out of Ideas for Your Content.
“What should I buy to have some awesome recording like the ones you make? I’ve been told that having a good, clear voice should be the number 1 priority.”
That’s the question I’m answering today on the Online Marketing & Media Podcast which came to me from 1 of my Instagram followers all the way from Australia.
I know a lot of you are thinking about creating social media videos, but aren’t quite sure where to start or what you need to invest in.
Now, more than ever before, you have the time to learn a new skill and bring your online marketing up a notch. So let’s do this!
By the end of today’s episode, you’ll know exactly what you need in order to get started and have the confidence to make your very first social media video.
Hashtags, livestreams, & Stories are great, but if you don’t have the foundational ingredients in place, you won’t be able to acquire new leads form social media.
Those ingredients include:
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to walk you through 3 Fundamental Ingredients that’s going to help you move your followers from being a cold audience that barely knows you exist into a hot prospect that’s ready to contact you!
Your prospects are spending less time on your Instagram feed and more time on your Stories. The question is, where are you showing up more?
I’ve managed many, many Instagram profiles and every single one (without exception) had the most eyeballs on their Stories. So, if you want to get the most bang out of your marketing efforts on Instagram, Stories is where you need to focus your attention.
But posting Stories is a very different practice then posting on your feed.
So on today’s episode of the Online Marketing & Media Podcast , I’m sharing with you 5 Tips to Make Better Instagram Stories & Grow Your Followers.
One of the things I think that’s holding a lot of you back from creating ongoing video is that you may be a little camera shy. Video can feel very comfortable at first.
However, it’s also one of the most important parts of your social media strategy. Video builds trust with your followers so faster than if you were to just use text and images.
So on today’s episode I’m giving you 4 different types of videos you can easily create, even if you’re camera shy.
Posting on fewer social media accounts is actually better for your business.
I know that might sound counterintuitive for some of you.
But I’ve worked with a lot of clients who publish on 5 or more accounts and I what I’ve discovered is that inevitably one of those social media platforms always does better than the rest. And there’s a reason for that, which I talk about on today’s episode of the Online Marketing and Media Podcast. You’ll also learn:
I’ve heard a lot of concern from clients over the past few days about their concerns over losing business due to the coronavirus.
As a result, every one of my clients and I have made together to send out social posts and email newsletters about the proactive measures my clients are taking to alleviate their clients, patients, and customer’s concerns.
So, as you can imagine I’ve been spending a LOT of time messaging – getting the right tone and information together - to minimize the potential loss of business. And so today I wanted to share with you my marketing communications strategy to help you manage any concerns your clients, patients, or customers are bringing to your attention, so you can minimize any potential loss in business. I’m going to share with you:
A lot of businesses out there are not using social media correctly. And as a result, they don’t acquire leads through their social efforts and they presume that it just doesn’t work for them. That, social media is just a necessity because everyone else is on social media.
That's a false belief. If you’re not acquiring leads from social media, you don’t have a social media problem, you have a communication problem.
So on today’s episode I’m going to change your perspective about your social media efforts and then I’m going to give you 4 actionable tips on how you can implement this new way of thinking.
What if I told you there was a handbook that taught you how to use Instagram Story Marketing? Unfortunately, there isn’t. Instagram gives you all of these fun tools and features for your Stories, but then it’s up to you on how to use them.
So what ends up happening?
Inevitably, most entrepreneurs use Stories without intention, don’t see the results, and so they give up and conclude, “Well that worked for them, but it doesn’t work for my business”.
On today’s episode of the Online Marketing and Media Podcast, I’m going to share some of the strategies I’ve personally used with Instagram Story Marketing and some examples from other types of businesses that I’ve seen work as well.
One of the biggest problems I see with clients’ websites is that the information about their services doesn’t reflect what their visitors are searching.
A tell-tale sign of this is if you have a high bounce rate - the percentage of visitors who visit your website and leave after seeing 1 page.
What ends up happening is that visitor will then go to your competitor’s website, find the information they were seeking there and then begin to trust your competitor vs. you.
So today on the Online Marketing & Media Podcast, I’m going to give you a simple, 3-step exercise you can try, so that you have the right information on your website and convert more of your visitors into leads.
Online Marketing today, looks nothing like it did a year ago. Instagram Stories and IGTV are now a must, live-streaming is more popular than ever, but the biggest change that’s emerged is the line between ‘marketing’ and ‘media’ has blurred.
In fact, they’ve blended together and the businesses that are succeeding are the most are leading with a multi-media approach.
When I say "multi-media", I'm talking about blogging, pre-recorded video, live-streaming and podcasting. Those are really the only 4 multi-media channels available today.
So on today's episode of the ‘Online Marketing & Media Podcast”, I'm going to review some of the Pros and Cons of each medium so you can decide which one is right for you.
Today is the last episode of the Aesthetic Marketing Podcast.
Yes you heard me correctly, BUT don’t panic, I’ll still be here next week and following and the following.
I’m just changing the name of the show from the Aesthetic Marketing Podcast to….drum roll….'The Online Marketing and Media Podcast'
But today's episode is not just about that. It's really about a piece of your online marketing that’s missing, but if adopted as part of your strategy can change everything! And this was the driving force behind me making this pivot.
Are you ready to create more freedom in your life and earn more money in your business without the hustle? Well, that's exactly what today's episode is all about!
I sat down with Amber McCue, who lives all the way in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and we discussed so many different topics such as:
This episode is going to leave you feeling inspired and energized in your business. So if you’re feeling in a rut right now, listen up because this interview is going to fuel you right back up.
One of the most challenging parts of your online marketing for your business is your website.
There’s so much technical jargon and options available today. Should you build your own site using a platform like Wix or Squarespace? Should you hire someone to build it in Wordpress? What’s the difference between the two? And which option is right for you at your specific stage in my business. All of these questions circling in your mind can feel overwhelming, especially if technology intimidates you.
On today’s episode, you’re going to:
And, I’m going to teach you how to think of the 3 different website builder options using my “airplane analogy”. By the end, you’re going to feel confidence and empowered that you’re making the right decision with your website. Whether you’re thinking about a re-design or building one for the first time.
One of the most challenging parts of social media is finding the right type of content that your audience wants to consume. And if we want to acquire new leads directly from our social efforts, it stands to reason that we need to be publishing content your audience desires.
On today's episode, I'm going to share with you 7 resources you can use to inspire you to create content that your audience loves!
It took me years to finally crack the code, but I’ve done!
I actually acquire news leads directly from Instagram and so do my clients. And I have less than 400 followers!
If you’re in the mindset that the number of followers is what is going to drive leads through Instagram, consider what I just said. It’s the quality of your followers that will determine if you acquire leads through Instagram.
And that’s dependent on the Content you’re putting out.
One of the major reasons so many businesses struggle to acquire new leads through Instagram is because they’re not putting out content that’s meeting their audience where they are in their journey. That journey can be simplified into 3 phases called, the “Know, Like, and Trust Factor”.
Your audience needs to know who you are first, like what you have to say and trust that you’re the right fit for their needs.
So, on today’s episode of the Aesthetic Marketing Podcast, I’m going to walk you through exactly what type of content you need on your Instagram profile to communicate to your audience at every single step of their journey.
Today’s episode is part of a 3-part series where I’m going to go into 3 distinct online marketing strategies that you can apply to ignite your marketing results for 2020. The last 2 episodes we talked about taking Consistent Action (Episode 42) and then Episode 44 was all about having a media-first approach to your content marketing. Today, is all about Marketing your business with your Benefits (not your features).
I'm going to:
On today’s episode, I’m sharing with you my second (out of 3) online marketing strategies that you can apply to ignite your marketing results for 2020. Two weeks ago, on Episode 42, I introduced you to the first strategy called, “Consistent Action”. Today I’m going to talk about a strategy that’s going to radically change the way you acquire new leads (in a good way).
This strategy is really at the core of how you can consistently attract new, qualified leads. It’s the engine that’s going to generate them and it’s going to eliminate the need to be spending money in expensive advertising. It’s called a “media-first approach” to your content marketing.
Today’s episode is part of a 3-part series where I’m going to go into 3 distinct online marketing strategies that you can apply to ignite your marketing results for 2020.
It’s also the first episode I’ve recorded that’s really centered mindset. Now if you’re listening thinking to yourself after hearing the word “mind”, "This probably isn’t the right episode for me”, I would highly recommend staying for a while because you’re probably the one who needs to hear this the most.
Mindset is simply about helping you think about a situation in a different way then you’re currently thinking about it. And everything that we create in our lives starts in our minds.
So today I want to offer you a different perspective of what it means when you say or think that your online marketing isn’t “working”.
I’ve found that oftentimes when something isn’t working it, it simply means that we just haven’t figured it out yet. Making your online marketing work for you is entirely possible, you just have to figure out how to do it.
And that process, the way you figure it out, is led by taking Consistent Action.
Today, I’m going to teach you a sales strategy that’s going to help you grow the number of your leads through your online marketing efforts in a way that’s not pushy or salesy sounding. In a way where your audience just feels like your offering is an obvious solution to their problem.
This strategy is applicable to your Instagram Stories, your feed posts, live-streams, pre-recorded videos, blog, pretty much anytime you’re communicating online. And it’s even applicable when you’re communicating off-line, when you’re speaking directly with your clients. So, this topic is pretty much for everyone listening. And if you implement this, the right way, into your online marketing strategy I guarantee overtime you’ll acquire more leads. I rarely use that word, “guarantee” but this strategy dates all the way back to the 1950s and has been effective since then.
In fact, it’s a foundational technique in marketing communications. A lot of people think marketing is this sort of haphazard process where we just are constantly throwing something to the wall and seeing what sticks, but that isn’t true. There are some foundational strategies and concepts based on psychology and science that have been proven to be effective over decades. And this is one of them.
Today I’m going to be talking about something that sounds very simple but can actually be a major struggle for so many businesses. I’m talking about finding your target audience.
Now, if you’re thinking to yourself, ‘of course I know my target audience, let me just skip to the next podcast episode’, answer this question first, “What does your target audience say and do?”. Not generally, specifically, “What would they say and do as if they were sitting right next to you, right now?”
It’s not so easy to answer that, right?
The truth is you probably have a sense of who your target audience is, but what I’m suggesting is that you need to build on that even further. I want you to be able to visualize your target audience in your mind so clearly that it’s as if you’re having a conversation with a close friend.
You see, when we’re able to get that clear as to who it is you’re serving, you’re able to communicate to them so much more effectively in your online marketing efforts. And clear communication leads to more clients, and more revenue.
On today’s podcast episode, I’m going to:
Make sure you stay with me to the very end because my last exercise I mention is going to completely shift your perspective on who your target audience really is.
Today, I’m going to share with you a content marketing strategy that I use both for myself and my clients that has helped me to consistently produce new social media, videos, or blogs that I know my and their audience wants to consume. It’s very simple, in theory, but it’s something we have to take action on because when you use this strategy in action you’re going to quickly realize that the execution may not be as simple as you originally thought.
However, this strategy is definitely worth implementing in your business because it’s going to help you structure your content better, eliminate the daily struggle of figuring out what you should create, and ensure what you’re posting is content that your audience actually desires.
I’m talking about using Content Buckets. So, let’s start at the very beginning by looking at what a Content Bucket is and what it is not and then I’m going to paint a picture of how you begin to attract new, qualified leads when you use Content Buckets in your marketing.
Social media has revolutionized the way businesses can connect with their audience. We all know people and businesses in our same industry that are getting thousands of likes and followers that we strive to emulate.
But it can become really frustrating, really quickly, when you put in all of this time and energy into your social media presence only to hear crickets. And I think a lot of us focus on the social media hacks:
All of that tactical stuff is great, but sometimes when we focus on the granular details, we lose the big picture. And when we lose the big picture, it’s very easy to fall into a rabbit hole.
So today on the podcast, I’m going to explain the 2 biggest mistakes I see clients making with their social media presence and how to fix them.
We are literally weeks away from the beginning of the holiday season. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas…they’re ALL around the corner. And if your business isn’t participating, you’re missing out on a HUGE opportunity.
I’m going to read you some stats from E-Marketer. Now technically, this is for the retail market but it’s still a good indication of overall trend. This year, E-marketer predicts:
And mark my words, Instagram is going to play a HUGE role in holiday shopping. So, on today’s podcast episode, I’m going to walk you through my 6 simple steps on how to run a wildly successful Instagram Promotion for the Holidays. I’m going to teach you how to:
I've also created a FREE PDF Checklist that walks you through each step. Click here to download it!
If I were to ask you to find what time does Business XYZ close today, would you check on Google, Yahoo or Bing? Most of us would turn to Google. It’s the largest search engine in the world! And so it’s no surprise that having your business listed on Google where your audience is searching for information is critical.
So how do we do that? Well for most of us we immediately think of investing in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) or running ads on Google Adwords (and that’s legitimate of course), but there’s another tool that Google has developed for businesses that provides a plethora of data about your audience. And if you can interpret that data correctly, you can increase your website’s visibility and enhance your overall marketing efforts. I’m talking about Google My Business.
On today’s episode, I’m going to:
When most of us think about Facebook and Instagram for business, our mind automatically goes to the website itself and the apps associated with the sites. We think of the news feeds, IG Stories, live streaming, and all of the tools available in the app.
But what most people don’t realize is that Facebook & Instagram have additional FREE tools that aren’t available in your native Facebook and Instagram applications. These are tools and applications that were built by the social media giant to help you create better content and make more money for your business. But, unless you searched for them, you wouldn’t even know they existed.
So today, I’m going to share with you 3 of these tools which I personally love and I’m going to explain to you:

Today’s episode is a real treat! I got a chance to sit down with Kaeli Lindholm, who’s the president and founder of KLC Consulting, a business development and consulting agency that helps cosmetic healthcare providers to
As you’ll hear me say, marketing and sales are like twinsies. Neither of us truly understand the other one but we can’t live without each other. It’s such a symbiotic relationship and I’m a marketer at heart, so do have someone on here with a background in business development is a real treat.
Imagine for a moment, all of the people and businesses within your geographical area that offer the exact same service as you.
How do your customers or clients end up selecting your business vs. your peers?
Is it due to your pricing, a discount or promotion, maybe your website looks more visually appealing, or even the fact that you have a lot of followers and likes?
What if I told you, none of those are why they choose you or your business.
Today, on the Aesthetic Marketing Podcast, I’m going to explain to you why discounting your services is never the solution to acquiring more leads, what your audience is looking for in your online marketing that leads them to contact you, and I’m going to give you some advice on how you can deliver the type of content your audience is seeking.
A lot of businesses look at their peers that have tens of thousands of followers, they can see the opportunities that come with that and they want that. However, they don’t understand how they’ve achieved that level of success and they think those larger numbers of likes and followers equates to their success.
The truth is, likes and followers are vanity metrics, but businesses with large numbers of likes and followers have more opportunities and can be more successful. And there-in lies the paradox.
On today’s episode, I’m going to explain both sides – why the number of your likes and followers are important, why they’re not, and how to navigate this contradicting concept.
Word-of-mouth referrals are one of the most powerful ways to grow your business, but what happens when the referrals stop coming in? What happens when your new business growth slows down as a result of not enough new referrals?
Well today I’m going to be sharing with you an online marketing strategy that’s actually based in the world of finance called the Markowitz Portfolio Theory.
This is a foundational Finance 101 theory, but it’s implications extend far beyond Finance.
So, on today’s episode:

Last week was all about how you should think of your social media presence as if you’re a digital publisher. This week I’m going to focus on how the advent of video in social media has also led your patients/clients to expect you to become a “broadcaster” of content.
In order to use social media effectively in video, you want to ask yourself, “how do we create video that’s going to connect with your audience, build your brand, increase sales, and drive website traffic.”
In addition to exploring some of the traditional roles a broadcaster would hire in order to increase the number of viewers, I also have some tips on best practices and examples for today.
One of those tips I mention when I talk about composition is called “The Rule of 3rds”, which basically states that if you were to draw 2 horizontal and 2 vertical lines in your video, the intersection of those lines are considered to be the most visually interesting part of the video.
Take a look at the show notes to view some examples at www.MilanMarketingAndMedia.com/29
What is social media marketing and why is it so important for my business?
I think most people think social media is just expected. You’re expected to be on social media because everyone else is, but the problem with thinking like is that it lacks any goals. What goals are you achieving with your social media efforts?
Are you trying to connect with your audience? Build your brand? Drive traffic to your website? All of the above? And if so, how are you doing that with your social efforts?
On today’s episode, I’m going to explain how your patients & clients expect your social media presence to be more than just a physical extension of your business.
They expect you to be a publisher and broader of digital media.
Marketing attribution is one of the most difficult things for any small business, especially aesthetic & cosmetic providers.
In order to get the best results in your online marketing efforts, you have to have the right tools in place. Today, I’m going to share with you 7 online marketing tools that I consider to be essential and that I use for all of my clients. Whether you’re a solo-aesthetic provider or you already have a team, these tools are going to give you deeper insights & better results with your online marketing efforts.
The 7 Essential Online Marketing Tools include:
You’re going to learn what each one of these tools does and why I love them. I have a FREE PDF that outlines all of the important facts that you can download and print for your next marketing meeting which is available at www.MilanMarketingAndMedia.com/27
81% of businesses use video as a marketing tool (source: HubSpot), but yet so many aesthetic & cosmetic healthcare providers still don’t prioritize video in their online marketing efforts. In my experience, this is because they don’t see the connection between video and new patient/client growth. And how video can actually encourage people who are on the fence with a procedure or treatment to move forward.
So today, I’m going to explain how video can actually increase the number of new leads. I’m going to explain how video can:
If you’ve ever attended one of the big cosmetic medical conferences such as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons or the American Academy of Dermatology, you’ve probably heard one of the big marketing firms at their booth talk about the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). And while optimizing your website for Google is important, what’s equally as important is to optimize the content on your website to convert the visitors that find you. You see there’s a difference between website optimization and search engine optimization.
In today’s episode, you’re going to learn a simple exercise which you can do during your next marketing meeting to improve your content and convert more visitors.
Content marketing refers the text, still images, and videos across your website, social media channels, and even your email marketing. Your SEO is a part of your content marketing strategy. Without good text, your website won’t rank on Google.
But I actually want you to think of your content marketing differently. Think of your content marketing as the text, photos, and videos you publish across your website and social media channels that answers your prospective patients/clients questions.

Most of us are already creating videos for our Instagram or Facebook accounts, but are you also publishing them on your YouTube channel? Today I’m going to teach you 6 simple strategies that takes little time but will help to grow your followers on YouTube. These strategies aren’t intended to turn you into the next YouTube sensation. Do you have a system of process in place that measures the return on your investment for your online marketing efforts? If not, you’re not alone. Most marketers don’t even know how to measure their ROI. In fact, a recent study conducted by Social Media Examiner found that only 48% of marketers said they were able to measure the return on my investment for my social media activities.
On today’s episode, I’m going to share with you 1 simple question that is going to help you to figure out what’s working, what isn’t, and what you need to invest more in so you can scale and grow your aesthetic business even further.

One of the challenges with being a plastic surgeon, dermatologist, or aesthetic provider is that the path to growing your practice isn’t always so clear. So, I’ve created a solution! My “Power Coaching Sessions”, are designed to help aesthetic providers, just like yourself, who are seeking a roadmap that details how to take your business to its next level.
In today’s episode I’m going to explain to you:
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in business is that the only way to reach your next level is by setting goals. Goal setting is one of the most important skills you need to master in your aesthetic business.
This week I’m going to teach why goal setting is important and how to use my 6 pillars of online marketing framework to reach your goal and propel your business to its next level.

This week we continue with Part 2 of my Behind the Scenes Look at My Instagram Audit. This week I’m going to show you exactly what Instagram’s native insights are saying about what content is resonating with my audience.
I’ll reveal my observations and conclusions of my social audit. I have a sneak suspicion that my big realization may just be the same realization you’ve been searching for to get better results with your social media strategy.
How often do you take the time to perform a social media audit? I think most of us look at the number of likes and new followers. And that’s about it. But that’s like looking at the small picture. And it really tells us very little as to what’s happening.
In order for us to see if our social media efforts are working, we need to look at the big picture. So on today’s podcast episode, I’m going to give you a behind the scenes look as to how I analyze my social media efforts. I’m going to walk you through my social media audit for quarter 1 of 2019.
I want to show you what this process looks like in action because it’s one thing to talk about it, to intellectually understand it, but it’s entirely different when you see it in action. My hope is to be able to show you how easy it is and provide you with a process which you can then apply to your own business so you start to see better results with your social media strategy.
One of the reasons aesthetic providers don’t fully embrace online marketing is because it conjures up images of a high pressure used car salesman. And if you’re a medical provider, such as a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, there’s also the question of ethics when it comes to online marketing.
But the truth is, you can (and should) use online marketing to promote your business ethically. In today’s podcast episode, I’m going to walk you through some of the obstacles with marketing your practice or business ethically that I hear from aesthetic providers and then offer some solutions.
It’s no secret, the launch of IGTV back in June 2018 was dismal. However, recently they rolled out with a new update which has resulted in the number of people using IGTV to SKYROCKET! I think we’re in the infancy stage of a powerful new marketing vertical.
So, today I’m going to explain to you:
How do you promote a procedure effectively without niching yourself down and still acquire new patients or clients for the other aesthetic services that you offer? There are multiple ways we can do this but today I’m going to be talking about one specific online marketing strategy that very few aesthetic providers are doing BUT can deliver outstanding results! And that’s by adding a second website to your marketing mix, which we call a Micro-website or micro-site for short.
One of the biggest struggles with aesthetic providers – and this applies to you whether you’re a plastic surgeon, dermatologist, medical spa, or anyone in between – is how do you differentiate yourself from your peers? And how do you articulate that difference in your marketing that you’re different?
Because when everyone’s offering the exact same aesthetic services as you, you have to stand out. You have to be able to express how you’re different both verbally and visually. And the aesthetic providers who are able to do that successfully, they’re the ones that are receiving a greater number of new leads, but they’re also quality leads.
In today’s podcast episode, I’m going to teach you EXACTLY how to differentiate yourself from your peers by constructing a Value Proposition Statement.
If you’ve probably heard me talk about of the phrase the Know, Like, & Trust Factor. Your prospective patients need to Knowing who we are first, Liking what we have to say and then Trust that we’re the right fit for their aesthetic concerns. It’s almost like a scientific principle. All of marketing and advertising is based off it and every single one of us goes through this model when we make a purchase – whether you realize it or not.
However, there’s a HUGE flaw with this model that’s negatively impacting your online marketing efforts and hindering your ability to convert your prospective patients. In today's podcast episode, I'm going explain what the problem is and teach you how to fix it!
Most aesthetic providers understand that they need to be on social media, but there’s still confusion out there as it relates to why you need to be on social media.
To further complicate the situation, there are so many different options today – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest…I could go on.
I know it can feel overwhelming and confusing, but in today’s episode I’m going to simply it for you. At the end of today’s podcast, you’re going to know why social media is important, who you’re marketing to on social media and how to find out who they are, and which social platforms you should be on an invest in that’s going to deliver the greatest return on your investment.
Most people talk about marketing trends in the beginning or the end of the year, but trends happen throughout the entire year. Online Marketing is one of the fastest evolving industries on this planet today, so in order to stay ahead of your peers, we have to be conscious of the changes in the marketing landscape.
So today I’m going to talk about 3 online marketing trends, but I’m also going to:
How do we take your aesthetic business from where it is today to where we want it to be in 3 months from now? In a year from now? From Point A to Point B? It’s one of the most important questions you can ask and it can be summed up simply by asking – What’s your goal for this year?
But a lot of my clients get stuck when I ask them this question. I believe this stems from the fact that they’re not clear about their goal because they don’t understand the connection between online marketing & their business goals.
By the end of today’s podcast episode you’ll know exactly:
The Facebook Pixel, the few lines of code that can be installed on your website, is the secret behind the social media giant’s success in becoming a multibillion dollar company. And the reason for this is simply because it works.
In today’s podcast episode you’ll learn how the Pixel can help you acquire more patients directly from Facebook and Instagram using a marketing technique known as retargeting.
Acquiring more followers on Instagram isn’t the challenge – it’s converting your followers into patients which can be tough. And yet some aesthetic providers acquire a majority of their new patients directly from the social giant. So what’s their secret sauce? It has to do with their strategy!
In today’s podcast episode, I’m going to teach you that winning strategy. You’ll learn how to build trust on the platform with your prospective patients, how & why you need a visual asset library, and how to develop an effective content calendar that’s going to convert.
In today’s episode, I’m going to give you the ingredients you need in your online marketing plan that’s going to consistently deliver new, qualified patient leads from your website. I’m going to open the hood and I’m going to teach you how to build a lead generation engine using my online marketing framework that I’ve developed called Attract, Convert, & Retain. You’re going to learn:
Have you ever questioned if your social media content is resonating with your audience? Are your social media results in alignment with your expectations? In today’s episode I’m going to walk you through a simple 4-step process on how to conduct a social media audit. You’ll learn:
Many aesthetic providers and marketers focus too much attention on gathering more Likes and Followers. They believe the more likes and followers you attract has a direct relationship to the level of their success. However, likes and followers are simply just a vanity metric. What we REALLY need to be focusing on with our social media efforts is the quality of followers engaging with our accounts. In today’s episode, you’ll learn how you should be thinking about your social efforts so you can re-align how you define success on your social media platforms.
www.MilanMarketingAndMedia.com
Have you niched your practice down? That question alone can trigger a wave of negative emotions. “Won’t I be ‘missing out’ on a patient population if I’m only marketing a select group of procedures on my website”? On today’s episode, you’ll learn why the riches really are in the niches and why establishing your niche doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to focus on a select group of procedures.
Many aesthetic providers immediately think of advertising when they hear the word, “marketing”. But even for those who understand that these two words aren’t synonymous, there’s still an overall confusion as to what marketing really entails. In today’s episode, you’ll learn one of my favorite definitions of marketing, the 7P’s of service marketing, and why you need to look at your marketing from a much more holistic perspective in order to achieve real results.
