Jon Pardi surprised fans with the unexpected released of a new album on Friday (August 14th). The project, called Rancho Fiesta Sessions, features eight cover songs Jon recorded live during a one-night live jam session with his touring band from his home base in Nashville, which he dubbed “Rancho Fiesta.” He took on songs recorded by Dwight Yoakam, George Strait, Tom Petty, and even Prince, to name a few.
The project includes four tracks that Kane has released since the start of 2020, along with three previously unreleased songs, all of which he co-wrote. Mixtape Vol. 1 includes Kane's two current singles, the Top 10-and-climbing country hit, “Cool Again,” and his Top 40 hit, “Be Like That,” a collaboration with Swae Lee and Khalid. Kane tells us this collection of songs is appropriately titled Mixtape because it shows his diversity as an artist.

A North Carolina man credits his pet chihuahua with saving his life during a stroke. Rudy Armstrong, 86, a Navy veteran who lives alone on a houseboat in the bayside town of Oriental with his dog, Boo-Boo, said he realized he was having a stroke on the boat and he couldn’t reach his phone because he was unable to move one of his arms and one of his legs.
