What would your life be like if you relentlessly lived authentically? Would you be living in the same area? Would you be dating the same person? Would you be spending money on the same things as you are now? In order to find these answers, you must first find your true self-worth.

You know you have high self-worth when you believe you are worthy of love, respect, peace, fulfillment, and abundance. You speak up for yourself, you self-validate, and you unconditionally love who you are. You know you are enough just because you exist.

When you don’t know who you are, you find yourself through the eyes of others. So it is likely that what others praise you for is what you gravitate towards, and what they shame you for, you shy away from.

By living relentlessly authentic, you look inward to your heart’s desire and you go after what you want with confidence. So many of us don’t do this because we don’t believe we are worthy of reaching our dreams.

This ends today when you begin to embody true-self worth. This podcast will help you connect with your authentic self that in turn allows you to feel free to relentlessly be who you were always meant to be—before the world told you who you should be.

😇🙏🏻❤️

When I asked ChatGPT what the purpose of life is, this is what AI came up with:

“The purpose of life is a philosophical question that has been debated for centuries and there is no one right answer. Different people and cultures have different beliefs about the meaning and purpose of life. Some might argue that the purpose of life is to seek happiness and fulfillment, while others might believe that it is to serve a higher power or to contribute positively to society. Some might view the purpose of life as simply to survive and reproduce, while others might see it as a journey of personal growth and self-discovery. Ultimately, the purpose of life is a subjective and personal belief that varies from individual to individual.”

So, clearly this is a topic that can be talked about for hours…except I talked about it for 11 minutes!

I used to think that finding my life’s purpose was this grandiose thing, but as I’ve found my self-worth, I realized that it’s not that grandiose at all. In fact, it’s rather simple, and my perspective is just that.

I invite you to come journey with me to Bali on my Embody True Self-Worth in Bali Retreat so that you too can let go of the need to find your purpose, but instead, be present to exactly what is. I’m so thrilled to invite you to join this experience for 50% off! Book your call with me today!!!!

As I celebrate one year free of su!c!dal thoughts, I acknowledge that I lived through and survived every horrible thought I’ve ever had. I’ve survived every obstacle, every difficulty, and every devastation. I’m still here, pushing on.

This milestone means a lot to me. It signifies that I am stronger than I can ever imagine possible, I am capable of doing incredible things, and I am able to set my mind to anything and achieve it.

This wasn’t possible without the help of my amazing husband, coaches, mentors, therapists, doctors, family, friends, and myself for pushing me forward on a path of healing that allowed me to survive yet another year.

In today’s podcast episode, I share my reflections on life and how I’ve been able to go from feeling su!c!dal to now loving my life.

A big part of my healing journey is finding my self-worth and acknowledging that I am enough simply because I am. That I am worthy of this life simply by being in it. That I am so so loved, just because I exist, just because I am here on this earth. That there’s nothing I need to do, nothing I need to be, in order to be worthy of anything that I desire.

You TOO can learn the truth in these words. You TOO can come out of dark place and into the light. You TOO can heal. With the right amount of love and support, anything is possible. 🥲

It all starts by taking the first step. That may look different for everyone, but for me, that looked like going on a self-love retreat to Costa Rica. I am happy to announce that I am hosting my very first retreat to Bali this July 30 - August 6! 🏝️ I hope that you join me on a journey to Embody True Self-Worth in Bali! 🩵🫶🏻💜

This is a self-worth retreat where you will learn to embrace all that you are, uncover the deepest parts of your soul, and create human connection in a magical atmosphere so that you can leave the retreat embodying your true self, feeling confident & empowered, and finally able to unconditionally love yourself. 🤩

I’m not sure if finding your purpose is a “Western Concept” or not, but it seems like much of the “American Way” is to go go go, do do do, and produce as much as you can allowing little time to slow down and actually see if what we’re doing is actually fulfilling. It’s almost as if Capitalism wants us to stay on the grind—away from our true life’s purpose—for our entire life so that we can keep making the rich richer all while keeping the poor poorer.

Janell Jones defines one’s purpose as “not really about us…it’s really to help other people with what you’re gifted”. I think this is a beautiful definition because once we can each tap into what our unique gifts are, we can find that magnetic pull towards our greater life purpose.

I hope you enjoy today’s episode as it was one of my favorites to record to date!

Wealth is traditionally defined as how much money or possessions a person has, but Wassim Dabboussi knows a different meaning of wealth:

“Watching my children succeed, go through life, watching them grow…that to me is success before anything else…my true wealth is inside my own house.” — Wassim Dabboussi

I absolutely love this meaning of wealth because it feels more authentic—more to the core of what it means to truly be wealthy and happy in this world.

As many of you know, I am married to the love of my life for the past four years now, and we have been together for eight incredible years. I truly don’t remember a time in my life without him at this point because he has been so important to me for such big milestones in my life. I don’t think Love With Liana® would have been energetically birthed if it wasn’t for his unconditional love and support of me and my dreams.

I am not the type of person who believes that you can’t love someone else before you love yourself. I believe that loving yourself is a constant, lifelong process, so it would be unjust to say that you couldn’t love someone else before you reach unconditional self-love. But I do agree that you need to be working on yourself before you enter into your forever relationship and especially during.

So how do you continue to have high self-worth in a healthy marriage?

Today on The Love With Liana® Podcast, I welcome guest Marisa Patel to discuss this topic.

“To nurture and to have a positive sense of self and a good self-worth does not mean that you are arrogant…to work on yourself that way and to feel good about yourself—it’s okay and it’s something that you can be proud of.” — Marisa Patel

The Love With Liana® Podcast welcomes guest Shermin Kruse to talk on the subject: Leading with Empathy.

Empathy is defined by “the ability to share and understand the feelings of another” and Shermin assures us this is not only innate in most people, but it can be taught at a cognitive level. There are many benefits to having more empathy in one’s life as they connect with family and friends, as well as lead in the workplace.

“If you can better understand the struggles of others, you can grow in a very ethical way more rapidly than you otherwise could, and you can protect your people…You can be an empathic leader and not be perfect.” — Shermin Kruse.

It is my hope that this podcast episode inspires you to have more empathy in all areas of your life!

The Love With Liana® Podcast welcomes guest Dr. Lisette Sanchez to talk on the subject: Becoming the Best Version of Yourself.

But how exactly do you do this—and when do you know when you’ve gotten there?

When you acknowledge your humanness, you are able to overcome obstacles with grace more than not. We aren’t perfect, and in order to accept our imperfections, we must approach our lives with self-compassion. That is far more motivating than trying to do so with negative self-talk (and it is proven—just read any of the wisdom by Kristin Neff). We can only do our best and BE our best with the information that we have at the time.

When there is unconditional love for the best version of ourselves we can be with what we’ve got, that is how we step into our most authentic selves. We are in control of who we are and we must now do the work to be as authentic as we possibly can—because the world craves that.

This is scary venture for many who have lived in self-criticism for much of their life, but life on the other side is worth it.

I hope you enjoy today’s episode!

In the world that we live in, it is difficult enough to love yourself with all of society’s pressures to BE a certain way. Now add being LGBTQ+ on top of that and you have a whole lot more stigma and conditioning to overcome in order to fully accept yourself. I believe that today it is easier to “come out” than it was over a decade ago, but we still have a long way to go.

On today’s podcast episode, I have on with me guest Jimmy Cabrera Jr. to talk about his experience being in the LGBTQ+ community and what his journey has been like to love himself. He offers us great nuggets of wisdom as we learn how to respond to our environment instead of react, learn to actually have self-like before we can have self-love, and the overall importance of accepting ourselves on our journeys. Jimmy believes that the way we find the most connection in the world is when we relentlessly live authentically.

This episode is not just for those in the LGBTQ+ community; it can be enjoyed by anyone who is on their journey to love themselves. It is my hope that you find much value in our conversation!

When we are in the thick of trauma, abuse, neglect, or other harmful circumstances, it often feels like we will never get out of it. I know when I have underwent longterm complex trauma, it seemed like it was never ending; like a cloud hung over me for years (and sometimes it still does).

What we often don’t realize until we’ve healed is that our circumstances will eventually pass—that there is a life beyond emotional pain. Chelsea Elliott, the founder of Sōmōcom Lab, creator of EQ Kids Crew, a wife, and mother, knows pain like many of us do, but she is a living example of life after healing.

On today’s podcast episode, I talk with Chelsea about living with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and more. Chelsea shares her wisdom in being a parent and how she aims to help her children better feel their emotions. Chelsea is an inspiration to me! I look forward to hearing what you think about this inspiring episode.

What comes to mind when you think of living life moment to moment?

Being in the present?

Living outside of anxiety and fear?

To me, when I live life moment to moment, I acknowledge how I can build love for myself through presence by being aware of how my emotions can change literally from moment to moment.

Emotions last approximately 90 seconds when fully felt. It’s when we attach meaning to these emotions that cause them to last longer—often feeling more painful.

What inspired today’s podcast episode was a recent feeling of anxiety and overwhelm that caused me to nearly have a panic attack and cry uncontrollably just before I was set to go drive to visit a friend. Luckily, I was able to calm down enough to verbalize my feelings to my husband on the phone and later to my friend in person. Both provided me immense comfort and support.

Later that night, me and my friend were walking in town and she and I spotted a Colbie Caillat concert playing in under 30 minutes. We looked at each other and we decided to go! It was the best most impromptu night ever, and I was left feeling so grateful, calm, and happy.

That’s is the perfect example of how when we live life moment to moment we can see that our current states are only temporary—the good and the bad. We never know what’s truly going to happen next!

I hope this episode inspires you to be more present in your daily life!

🌟✨🌙

If you’ve been on your spiritual journey for quite some time, you may have heard the term “Divine Feminine” which acknowledges the ethereal presence of female energy in a society that mainly favors more masculine energies. This all stems from religious and gendered constructs that date back thousands of years; how women were not valued as much as men, nor more feminine presenting men.

Many cultures believe that human beings have both feminine and masculine traits within themselves—they just are active at different times; for example, the feminine energy is more gentle, free-flowing, and patient, and the masculine energy is more productive, fast-paced, and aggressive. The United States favors the masculine energies in its capitalism—but that’s for another podcast episode. 😅

On today’s episode on The Love With Liana® Podcast, I talk all about my experience with embracing my very own divine feminine energy and how that has better shaped me as a person. If you follow me on social media @LoveWithLiana, I recently revealed that I am bisexual and I believe that this has presented itself at this point in my life BECAUSE I have embraced my very own feminine energy. Recognizing this in myself has been a crazy and completely unexpected journey (though when I look back on my life, it just makes sense and isn’t that surprising after all 😅).

I think this manifested at this point of my life because

💖 I’ve reconnected with and healed my inner child
💙 I’ve owned my divine feminine, sexy, grounded, and empowered energy
💜 I’ve worked to build up my self-confidence all because I finally believe I am enough and worthy

…but it was always there. Trauma, old, unhealthy programming, and shame kept this side of me from showing. Yes…especially shame. 🥺

In choosing now to unapologetically, relentlessly live authentically, I am owning my bisexuality, and I couldn’t be happier! The feedback and love I’ve already received from me sharing this on social media has been so special! I am just so grateful for my journey. 🥰

I hope you find some fabulous takeaways from today’s podcast episode! 🤩

In case you don’t follow me on social media, I recently was sick with C🦠VID. Don’t worry—I’m significantly better now and am back to my normal life aside from some lingering sinus symptoms.

When I first got that positive test result, I had so much fear of what was to come.

Would I have some crazy severe reactions?

Would my husband need to be hospitalized?

Would my cats get it?

Would I be able to take care of myself enough even if I feel so bad?

I tried to remain calm. I know that this is not the same C🦠VID that it was in 2020 with much scarier symptoms. I eased my mind by reminding myself that this is out of my control and what will happen, will happen, and we will get through it.

A lot of my fears also stemmed from the potential effects on my mental health. I know that earlier this year when I got my wisdom teeth removed due to an infection, the sickness that followed caused a trigger in su!c!dal thoughts. So I worried that by feeling bad physically, I would in turn feel bad about myself.

Luckily this time, I’m armed with more tools and techniques to challenge any of these intrusive thoughts that I now can access with the support of 💊.

It took me a while to get to this point and I’m so glad I’m finally here so that I may feel good about myself even when I don’t PHYSICALLY feel good.

This has been so important, and such a testament to my self-worth journey. I celebrate myself as I continue to heal, and honor my heart with much gratitude 💜💙

On today’s podcast episode, I talk about the 7 things I learned about my self-worth whilst being sick. They don’t just apply to you getting over a sickness but to anywhere you’re at in your self-love journey. I hope you enjoy the episode!

If you’re reading this, then you’ve probably been through some trauma—and we have that in common. When you really think about it, trauma is culturally, generationally, and societally passed down and often times continues on unless explicitly dealt with, so it’s very likely you’ve been through something really traumatic in your life, or something more complex and less obvious—but it’s still trauma.

Trauma is defined in the dictionary as “a deeply stressing and disturbing experience”. It sends our nervous system out of whack and it often changes the course of our lives because it happened. The healing process is then complicated but some of the most vital and needed works of our lifetime.

My guest and friend on today’s podcast episode talks about how the healing process isn’t linear. It’s not like there’s some magic formula to healing; there are many layers of self whom get affected by trauma and they each require their own space to heal. You’ll hear all about Michele’s healing journey and what her main takeaways are as you either embark on your own or continue forward.

It is my hope that whilst on your own healing journey you find your people to support you—and that you give yourself some grace. This is an oftentimes a strenuous process as you process some difficult emotions but as you do, you get to feel tremendously better!

I decided for the month of August 2022 to give back to my community by giving out 10 free coaching sessions (that are already taken 😉) in an effort to become even more accessible to those discovering themselves after trauma. It’s not too late to be a part of the action and receive unconditional support as you look to embody true self-worth. You can book a session for $19 via this unique link! 🤩

As always, I look forward to being there for you in any way that I possibly can. Connect with me @LoveWithLiana and let me know how you’re doing 💜💙

After spending nearly 2 full years staying close to home, I’ve now been going back into the real world and it feels—well—strange. Like completely different than how it used to feel back in 2019/early 2020. I’ve come to realize that this is because I’m different now than I was 2+ years ago, and though I’m going back to doing things I used to do in 2019/2020 and beyond, I am coming at them with new energy, fresh eyes, and a changed heart.

My body remembers what it was like to be that person, though.

I used to really emulate the person whom the world told me I should be; a person all prim and proper, muted, trying to fit in, unconfident, scared to express her opinion for fear of being judged, and more. I wasn’t ever being my authentic self—and if I was, it was in isolation with a trusted friend or my husband.

Very few people met my true self back prior to 2020, and then in 2020 I begin embodying my true self-worth when I took the steps to become a certified self-worth coach and start wrapping my business in with my spiritually connected side. That much has always been me—spiritually connected—and I am so grateful I now have many ways to express this part of me and support others.

Today’s podcast episode talks about my journey coming back to myself and what it’s been like grappling with the old habits resurfacing now that I’ve been integrating back into the real world. I have made a promise to myself that I will ALWAYS show up as me no matter what, and I will remove myself from situations that no longer serve me or that don’t feel safe as I express this new me—this version of myself that was dormant under the surface and who now feels so good to be free.

I hope you enjoy today’s podcast episode, and the special song I included as it relates to fully embracing your self-worth and letting go of what doesn’t serve you.

Sending you so much love!

With everything going on in the United States right now, I felt compelled to share this episode with you. I did record it well before the official news of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, but I believe it is currently more relevant than ever.

Going through hardships is—well—hard. There's no sugar-coating that. Some of the most difficult times in my life were during a big life transition, in dealing with grief, suffering from an injury, or recognizing my own upbringing wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.

We all develop our life's programming from 0-6 and we may not realize we are living under these programs until about 25 when our prefrontal cortex fully develops and we gain deductive reasoning. That is about when we gain new perspective on our lives and we then determine what we want out of it going forward in the rest of our adulthood. If we go through a particularly traumatizing event earlier in our lives than that, we may begin our healing journey earlier. Nevertheless, we must do our best to live as healthy adults, whatever that looks like for each individual.

I reference my healing journey in the metaphor of me creating my new Mala beads. Malas are quite difficult to make but that is the point of them; with each knot of the Mala, we unknot a part of ourselves. So with each hardship, we unlock a new part of ourselves we didn't know was there, and we grow even brighter.

You are worthy of living a bright life 🤩 Much love to you!

In a society that constantly bombards us with idolized images and ways to change ourselves, all in an effort to get us to confirm to a certain standard, it is hard to love our authentic self. There’s no group of people who knows this more to be true than those of the LGBTQ+ community. My dear friend, Nikki Starkiller joins us on The Love With Liana™ Podcast for part 2 of our fantastic discussion airing on her 40th birthday as she is recovering from bottom surgery.

Nikki is a transgender female who has suffered from gender dysphoria for her entire life, but for her first 36 years, she suppressed these feeling. Nikki has been on a journey to further eliminate her gender dysphoria and deepen her self-love for the last 4 years and now, today the time this episode releases, she celebrates her 40th birthday. She shares openly how she has learned to accept the life she has been given and how she makes the choice everyday to live her life the way she wants to live it.

I am inspired by Nikki’s honesty, openness, and overall story for many reasons, but the biggest reason is that she has learned to love herself throughout her transformation into being her authentic self. That is a mirror of my personal journey of which I share with you all on a daily basis in my social media content and in my own reflections. Her journey and friendship has given me hope to be able to love myself, but also for my clients to love themselves as well.

I am grateful that we exist together during a time where many of us are called to love our authentic selves, and this means as that authentic self changes and shifts and grows. I hope you enjoy part 2 of our conversation today and receive many new insights you can take with you as you learn to love yourself even more.

At the end of this episode, Nikki reminds us to donate to our local community to support the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals. I am also offering a 19% discount on my services (https://lovewithliana.com/booking) for those in the LGBTQ+ community as a way to personally show my support. Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Five years ago (in 2017), a traumatic event happened in my life. Following this event, the trauma continued thus causing me cPTSD (from 2017-2019). Even just writing this now, I felt myself disassociate, and I had to pause before I could type again. I even found myself repeating my phrase that I had to rewrite and rewrite because this is still so hard for me to talk about.

Everything I thought I knew was a lie.The people who I thought cared most about me left me in the dust of what was left of the foundation that they built for me, and I had to completely start over. Luckily, I had moved away and was alone for quite a while, and I was able to begin the journey of rediscovering who I was.

I began finding my Authentic Self.

This “Authentic Self” version of me is much like who I was when I was a child: creative, a writer, lover of crystals, imaginative, spiritually connected, and more. I began to express myself in ways like I used to, and that allowed me a chance to heal my very wounded inner child.

This “Authentic Self” is the person you see and you hear on today’s podcast episode, finally unleashed to her fullest potential—and only growing brighter.

I was able to unleash my authenticity by getting present with what I was feeling and then processing my emotions. That then allowed for other emotions to come through like elation and joy. Over the past two years, this version of me has expanded more vastly than I could have ever imagined possible five years ago, and I’m so grateful.

That is why I became a Self-Worth Coach because I’ve discovered my life’s purpose and where I am being the most authentically me: helping others feel seen, heard, and validated. I want to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them learn to feel their emotions fully, find who they truly are, and be able to begin again.

I have an upcoming FREE Online Experience called:

Since I’ve been on my self-love journey, I’ve teared down a lot of the caution tape that was put up by diet culture as it pertains to how I “should” eat, “should” dress”, “should” weigh, etc. I didn’t think that I was that affected by diet culture because I have white thin privilege and never had an e@ting disorder, yet, upon further self-discovery work, I’ve learned that I wasn’t immune to feeling like I had to adhere to the beauty standard.

I just didn’t know it for most of my life.

I have felt insecure for things like having “small” boobs, frizzy hair, acne, crooked teeth, a bloated belly/extra belly fat or wider arms. I have felt insecure for certain outfits I would wear to certain social settings because I didn’t feel like I dressed like anyone else. I have felt insecure about being tall and broadly built because I didn’t think I had an hourglass figure. I have felt insecure about posing in photos because I have historically stood out from my friends as the “awkward one on the side” because they were all inches shorter than me—not to mention being as tall if not taller than my boyfriends. I felt insecure about being a bigger weight than what my mom seemed as acceptable when I was in college.

Underneath it all, I didn’t feel confident being in my body, and I subtly judged it everyday without being so overtly obvious. These negative thoughts I had about myself were so subtle, but they were adversely affecting my mental health.

Until I found influencers on social media who advocate for self-love and body acceptance, and actively work to dismantle diet culture.

Individuals such as Jessi Jean and Mary Jelkovsky have been pivotal for me to recognize and reframe the messages of diet culture and how they not only hurt me, but hurt everyone—even those who meet the beauty standard because that is an unrealistic expectation to begin with.

I talk in this podcast episode about my own personal work in learning to accept my body and unconditionally love myself, as well as how to keep up this mindset even whilst among individuals who are not on this journey.

The key for me has been to remain steady in spite of those who are all over the place with their comments about what they’re eating, what they’re drinking, what they’re wearing, and what excerpts they are getting or not getting.

Know that you are worthy of unconditionally loving yourself and receiving that love from others PERIOD. There’s nothing you need to do, nothing you need to be, in order to be worthy of this love and this life. If you’re looking for guidance on how to remember your inherent worth (because the societal expectations often make us forget), I have an upcoming FREE Online Experience called:

A big part of what I do as a Self-Worth Coach is practice stepping into myself and my worth more and more each day. Not only has this been the quintessential part of my healing journey, but it has inspired me to keep going so that I may inspire my clients as well.

I remember stepping into myself a lot as a child. I would consistently explore new things that made me happy, but over time, I stopped searching for what would make me happy, and instead searched for what would make my parents happy or others happy around me. I would ultimately do more of what was expected of me than what I genuinely wanted, and that changed me. I like to think that when I met my now husband and he began to show me what unconditional love really feels like, I began to choose myself and love myself unconditionally for what was the first time ever.

I now finally embrace my natural self.

This “natural self” is the version of me who exists comfortably in her natural state without force. This is the self that is free to be whoever she wants to be right now and who reserves the right to keep changing and evolving as her spirit does. This is the self who celebrates her authenticity and lets her light shine. This is the self that is comfortable wearing lots of colorful makeup, minimal makeup, no makeup, a fully styled outfit, pajamas, a bathing suit, nothing at all, and/or everything in between.

No longer is there any shame in being me, and this has been absolutely freeing! I walk my clients through their own journey to finding the freedom in embracing their natural self so that they learn to (finally) unconditionally love themselves. I currently have 4 spots available in my one-one 12-week coaching container so that you too can experience self-love like this. Once you actually do this work for yourself and receive my unconditional support, you too can feel better even faster than you ever imagined!

I hope you enjoy today’s podcast episode and it inspires you to start embracing your natural self! 💜💙

If you’ve not yet heard of Julian Sarafian, he is an incredible person with an incredible story. He first went viral on TikTok for sharing his mental health journey. Julian went from being a high achiever in school, college, and grad school, to becoming a corporate lawyer, to then having severe anxiety, mild depression, and suicidal ideation…it almost didn’t make sense. He quit his job as a corporate lawyer to focus on mental health and now is a very outspoken mental health advocate with numerous online communities and other business ventures. Julian’s story story is like so many others who were told to go on a certain path of hard work and determination, only to find themselves struggling mentally—even questioning whether life itself is worth it all.

When I first saw his viral videos (and more recently his incredible Ted Talk), I felt like he was speaking directly to me. I too saw myself as a high achiever with the goal of getting THAT JOB…the one that was supposed to make all of life’s problems go away…but that was just the start to my struggles with mental health.

My experience is what has inspired me to become a Self-Worth Coach because I, like Julian, have learned and applied the tools to now thrive in a revolutionary way instead of just survive.

I believe a lot of our struggles in life are due to a lack of self-worth and thus we feel as though we have to do more and have more in order to BE more. I help my clients realize that they are enough exactly as they are and that they don’t have to be anything other than their authentic self. This helps transform their worth from the inside out and that alone heals a lot of their pain. I currently have 4 spots available in my one-one 12-week coaching container where I can support you through your own journey to greater self-worth. It’s not as difficult as it may seem, and with the right guidance, you too can feel better even faster than you ever imagined!

I hope you enjoy today’s podcast episode and that it helps you feel less alone with what you may be going through. 💜💙

If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you will have seen me use the hashtag #Lianas100HappyDays since I started this “challenge” on March 1st. This “challenge” is something I started in March 2014 and I picked it up after finding it 4 years later in 2018, and I made a reminder in my calendar to do it again 4 years after that. So here we are! Now almost a quarter of the way through the 100 days. You may be wondering…what is the Liana’s 100 Happy Days challenge?

It’s something I found on social media back in 2014 that challenged people not to be happy for 100 straight days, but to FIND the HAPPINESS in their lives no matter what has gone on (good, bad, or otherwise) and post about it on social media for 100 straight days.

It’s certainly interesting to see where I’ve been at in life each time I’ve done this challenge at 4 year increments.

What I’m noticing this time around is that I am changing my mindset with every day that I post and find what has made me happy each day. I see that even on the days when I’m not particularly happy or feeling good, I can still acknowledge ONE THING that had made me smile that day. And that is what this “challenge” is all about!

On today’s podcast, I talk about the profound shifts I’ve been making in my mindset recently and how that has been impacting my life in an incredible way.

This mindset work is not limited to just reframing negative thoughts to positive thoughts; this can be applied to anything! Like overcoming fears, manifesting what you want, and more. I practice this with my clients as we work together to shape the reality they want to experience by changing the way they think about themselves and their current situations. I currently have 4 spots available in my one-one 12-week coaching container where I can support you as you apply this to your daily life. It’s not as difficult as it may seem, and with the right guidance, you too can get to where you want to be even faster than you could imagine!!

So, what has made you happy today or lately? Can you find one thing? Let me know, and we can celebrate you together! 💜💙

It’s true when they say “nothing can prepare you for how to deal with grief”. You never know how you’re going to react because each loss is different. The common thread between each loss is that the being no longer exists in a physical body, but its spirit lives on. We don’t yet have the ability to 100% see spirits who do not have physical bodies, but I believe we can currently sense these spirits with what abilities we do have. I find comfort in knowing that the spiritual realm is vast and that our loved ones never truly leave us.

On today’s podcast episode, I talk in depth about my recent loss of a dear family member. I express my way of processing through my own grief and share comforting advice that has helped me so far.

I am grateful to have the tools to fully process my emotions through the methodologies I am certified in. I help my clients process their emotions ranging anywhere from love to fear, as well as grief. I currently have 4 spots available in my one-one 12-week coaching container where I can support you if you’ve gone through or are going through grief, or simply just looking to navigate all of your emotions. No emotion is good or bad; all emotions are part of the human experience. We get to feel deeply as sensitive souls, and it is our job to recognize our feelings so that we live out healthy lives.

Being healthy looks different to everyone, and for me that is spending more days in joy and gratitude than in sadness and in loss. So I am making the conscious choice to focus on that as I process my grief going forward.

Being healthy looks different to everyone, and for me that is spending more days in joy and gratitude than in sadness and in loss. So I am making the conscious choice to focus on that as I process my grief going forward.

It is my hope that you will do the same so that you too can live your best life possible! 💜💙

Before I began my healing journey, I rarely spoke up for myself.

An example comes to mind: when I was a teenager and I went to the nail salon, I got my nails done and then got my eyebrows done. When the manicurist prepared for my eyebrow treatment, she sat me in the middle of the salon on a chair to do my eyebrows instead of taking me to the back room where I could lie down instead of sitting up. I was super uncomfortable and would have greatly appreciated being treated differently during the treatment, but I completely froze before we began and didn’t say anything.

This was one of those moments where my then people-pleasing tendencies got the best of me, and I instead suffered with discomfort in fear that the manicurist would get upset with me for wanting something different in my treatment than what I thought to be typical, or if she thought I was trying to correct her work. None of those would have been true, because I wasn’t being directly rude, I would have just made a simple request to be more comfortable during my treatment.

I didn’t know it then, but I know it now: I felt unworthy of getting my needs met and I felt my worth was contingent upon others liking me. So as long as I could ensure others would like me, I would resist speaking up if this meant that I could preserve any instance of conflict or dismay when someone would interact with me.

Doing that is wildly unhealthy, but many of us do it. We find our worth through the eyes of other, but it never truly works to make us feel worthy of love, respect, peace, fulfillent, and abundance that we deserve.

I talk on today’s podcast episode all about how I learned to speak up for myself and thus learned to self-advocate. This has been a quintessential part of my healing as I’ve built my self-worth.

This may be difficult at first but I can assure you that once you learn to speak up for yourself, your life will get so much better!

Happy 2022!! What a year this has already started to be am I right?

So I ask you: what are you going to be doing differently this year that maybe you’ve put off doing until now? Are you going to set intentions and aim to do them everyday? Are you going to set goals and work everyday to reach them?

We know that “New Year’s Resolutions” don’t work, and actually, by this point in the New Year—statistically—individuals revert back to their old ways. If you’re looking at life with a glass-half-empty mentality, then you probably see the idea of setting new intentions for the New Year to be pointless.

What if I told you that there’s one intention that you could set that could actually work to dramatically change your life?

“I’m listening…” — you right now (lol! 🤣)

Setting the intention this year and for every year to live a life of greater self-worth will be the intention that lasts through the tests of time I assure you.

When you work through your trauma, triggers, limiting beliefs and what is preventing you from living the life you are meant to live, you get to then speak up for what you want and need, and then receive the LOVE, RESPECT, PEACE, FULFILLMENT, ABUNDANCE that you deserve.

Sound good? I thought so! 💜💙

I talk all about what I’m working on this year in an effort to further my journey of greater self-worth in today’s podcast. I also talk about my Framework to Greater Self-Worth that I have walked myself through and that I currently walk my clients through.

This process alone has greatly improved my personal confidence and the confidence of my clients in their own lives. We are noticeably different people because I guide us consistently through deep personal work to improve our self-worth. We now receive the LOVE, RESPECT, PEACE, FULFILLMENT, ABUNDANCE that we know we deserve.

If you don’t yet unconditionally believe that you are worthy of receiving these things, don’t worry. You’ve still got time in this year to make that shift on your own—or you can make the choice to expedite this process. When you are held and supported on your own journey to greater self-worth, it can happen faster than you can ever imagine.

So… what are you waiting for? The choice is yours! 🌟✨💫

As another year comes to a close, I want you to practice one thing:

Gratitude.

Be grateful for your life simply because you get to live it.

Be grateful for your life simply because it’s yours.

Know that you didn’t have to achieve anything super spectacular this year to be grateful for it.

…and you don’t have to set crazy goals for next year if you don’t want to.

You are enough simply because you are.

I am grateful you are here.

May 2022 be special no matter what it looks like! 💜💙

Lately, I have been reflecting on my recent journey out of anxiety and depression.

I am grateful for the support of my husband, cats, friends, and family who have supported me during this difficult time. I finally feel that the fog has lifted and that I feel like myself again. I am able to appreciate the light within me in a whole new way and I am beyond thankful.

I am able to reflect on what the true meaning of life is by making this small yet monumental shift within me, and I am eternally grateful. I talk more about what the meaning of life that I have found is in this week’s podcast episode.

The biggest takeaway is this:

You are always worthy of this life simply by being in it.

You are meant to do tremendous things just because you are here.

You are so loved! 💜💙

With Love,
Liana Jabs

Lately, my intuition has been telling me to take a break from doing and instead spend more time being. I was burning myself out from doing too much all at once, and I finally hit a wall that made me stop.

As I slowed down, I realized that a lot of my anguish was related to me overextending myself. I do this in a relentless effort to please those around me—which is my default means of operation for as long as I can remember. Over time, I have learned that I try to please other people to feel seen, heard, and validated, but it never truly works. I knew I had to do something different.

On this week’s podcast episode, I talk openly about my experience living life as a people pleaser trying at every opportunity to help other people fill their cup while emptying my own. I offer suggestions to combat these people pleasing tendencies and a heavy dose of empathy if you are struggling to focus more on yourself instead of others.

There is a better life ahead, and it all starts from within. You are worthy of prioritizing yourself!

“Woo” often has a negative connotation in the sense that we as a society don’t want to be too “Woo” aka, too spiritually connected to the nonphysical energies of the world and less connected to the everyday human experience. But why does being “Woo” have to be seen as a bad thing?

On this week’s podcast, I welcome guest and dear friend of mine, Shandra Shultz to talk all about the “Woo”.

Shandra is a great example of what it is like to embrace her “Woo” in that she uses her gifts of being connected to spirit for the greater good of healing the world. As a guide, healer, and mystic, Shandra uses her shamanic reiki and integrative life coaching skills to give womxn a path to transform from rundown and ragged to empowered and embodied.

Together, we have a fabulous conversation all about being in energetic alignment to manifest abundance, how to cleanse our energy, what tools help us get to where we want to be, and so much more. It is my hope that you enjoy this episode and that you start embracing your inner spiritual self today.

It’s not a new concept to think about the amount of space we hold in our minds for things like work, home, family, chores, to-dos, etc. There is a limited amount of “mental real estate” that each of has for all of these things, and when we take on more than we have room for, it is easy to become overwhelmed.

Saying no to the things that take more from us than give to us is a great first step to preserve our brain space for the things that truly do make us happy. This is a great practice in setting boundaries and gives us powerful purpose to practice self-care and self-love.

In this podcast episode I provide an exercise on how you can look to preserve your own mental real estate to make for greater positive change in your life.

Preserving your mental real estate is a practice and it is something we must choose every day or else we will get swept away in overwhelm. You have the self-worth to put your wellbeing first and it is time you make that your top priority.

You’ve got this!

On this heartfelt episode, I welcome my dear friend Nikki Starkiller as we talk all about loving yourself.

Before you listen, please note that we talk about su!c!dal ideations, attempts, and the overall impact su!c!de has on people’s lives, so I caution some listeners who may not receive that part of the discussion well. The exact timestamp of that part of our conversation is from 22:10 - 27:27. If you or someone you love is contemplating su!c!de, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255.

For Nikki, loving herself looks a bit different than it does to the average person, because she was born into the wrong body. Today, she celebrates life as a woman and has such incredible wisdom to offer anyone and everyone who has ever struggled with loving themselves. I found myself moved to tears multiple times during this episode as Nikki shared her story.

Nikki has fully embraced the life she has been given, and gives inspiring advice for those dealing with adversity in their family and with their friends. She explains how choosing to love herself has drastically improved her overall quality of life—despite the pain and suffering she has endured and sometimes still endures.

The tips she offers in this episode are so needed for us all as we navigate the ever-changing world and the pressures that society has on us. Choosing to love yourself takes work, but the work is extremely worthwhile.

I write to you today from a heavier heart than my normal self to give you a bit of a life update.

I have not been doing all that well in my mental health. I’ve been thinking it has to do with some personal and professional changes in my life, or more specifically about what I realized during the Costa Rica Self-Love Retreat that I attended.

Learning how my need for validation is so deep that it has prevented me from feeling sexy or beautiful about myself was so difficult but incredibly eye-opening. I am ready to heal and transform this part of me that needs validation from other people so that I may be able to finally validate myself and love myself deeper.

I share my vulnerability perhaps more than other coaches out there to let you know that you 1) aren’t alone, and 2) know that I work to dig myself out of hell so that I can teach you to do the same.

I am here to get you out of the mud you may currently be in. There is a brighter life on the other side of the pain you may be feeling, and your light is too bright to go out.

As I continue to reflect on my retreat to Costa Rica, I share with you many play-by-play moments on my Instagram as well as on my podcast—which brings us to this special episode today. Take a listen to episode 26 (last week’s episode) to learn more about Mary.

On this episode, Mary interviews me on her podcast where I go in-depth about my retreat experience, what I learned and who I am now choosing to be.

~ Repost from the Mary’s Cup of Tea Podcast ~

I have a little bit of a different episode for you this week because what you’re about to hear is a conversation with one of my retreat sisters, Liana, who recently attended my Costa Rica Self-Love Retreat. I thought it would be cool to give you an inside look into what self-love retreats are actually like coming from someone who’s experienced one recently.

Even if you’re not thinking about joining a self-love retreat, I still invite you to listen to this episode because Liana and I talk about sexuality, trusting yourself, dealing with toxic family members, connecting with like-minded women, vulnerably sharing your heart, and so much more. Liana herself is incredibly inspiring because she embodies what it means to be so full of self-love and letting that love overflow to others. Whether you want to come to a retreat or not, Liana will help you see what is truly possible for you.

I bring to you today a very special podcast episode featuring the inspiring, loving, intelligent, treasure of a person: Mary.

To think that I found Mary in February of 2021 (just 6 months ago) when I was looking for more like-minded individuals to follow on Instagram is unreal because I feel as though I have known Mary for many, many lifetimes.

✨ “THROUGH MY BOOK, PODCAST, AND SELF-LOVE RETREATS, I HAVE CREATED A COMMUNITY OF WOMEN WHO ARE READY TO LOVE THEMSELVES EXACTLY AS THEY ARE. My mission is to empower you to love yourself unconditionally.” — Mary’s Cup of Tea, Mary Jelkovsky. ✨

She is more than a mentor—she is a beacon of light for me and so many others on their own self-love journey. It was an honor to join her on her first Self-Love Retreat to Costa Rica and to hug her and be in her presence in real life.

On the episode, we shared a delightful and inspiring conversation all about what it means to love yourself across every area of your life. We even talked a bit about the retreat experience and what transformation in the beautiful jungle of Costa Rica looks like.

Mary’s energy is unparalleled, and and I am a better person because she gave me her own “gift of self-love” so that I may share it with you and keep it close to my heart for the rest of my life.

Please enjoy the episode! 💜💙

As a 26-year-old woman, I have often felt that the world sees me as if I were a child.

Throughout most of my adult life to date, I have had to advocate for myself stronger than it seemed like most others did around me. I would constantly be surrounded by people older than me who would look down upon me for my marriage decisions, living situation, professional career, and more.

I feel very isolated around people my age and it is a great pain point that I am still working through.

My own inner child felt far away from me for so long because I didn’t feel safe to feel her presence. I lost sight of my intuition, creativity, passion, spontaneity, and fun. My zest for life was missing until I found The Adult Chair® model and began to heal my relationship with Little Liana.

I was able to learn all about how my programming from 0-6 shaped me to become the woman I am today. I reconnected to my emotions and true needs. I learned again what vulnerability in a safe environment would look like, and began to trust myself again.

This connection opened the doors for me to experience life like I once knew it, and now I feel fully transformed and better than ever.

In this week’s podcast episode, I share with you my story of my most profound inner child work that I have done to date. I hope that when you listen or watch the episode (via the link in my bio or: https://lovewithliana.com/podcast), you are able to take this valuable information with you to build your own unique relationship to your inner child.

I wish you all the best on your journey! I am always here to support you!

For those who are new here, my name is Liana Jabs and I am an Adult Chair® Certified Coach.

As an Adult Chair® Certified Coach, I teach you how to love yourself so that you build healthy relationships and become more present in your life. Using methods from The Adult Chair®, I guide you through your own self-love practice by uncovering the deepest parts of your spirit to unleash the life you are meant to live.

This week on The Love With Liana™ Podcast, I feature a client session that I had with April, our chosen volunteer.

April reached out to me and shared her struggles with codependency and in her relationship. She wants to live more in her “Adult Chair®” by focusing less on the external energy from the people around her and more on her internal higher-self energy to live a more grounded, loving, and present life.

During this session, April was able to connect with her very own “Adult Chair® Energy”, comfort her inner child, own her truth, and plan for what’s next. She shared with me how different she feels after diving deeper into the work of The Adult Chair® Model and how it literally saved her life.

It is my hope that by witnessing another person transform through the lens of The Adult Chair® Model, you as the observer will be further guided along your own transformation. I thank April from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to share this experience with you all today.

I don’t know exactly what in The Universe has been going on lately, but I have certainly been feeling a huge shift in energy. As I talk to many individuals, I hear they too are feeling it. But what exactly is going on?

When we live life from our Adult Chair, we are able to accept our situation for what it is and not try to question it, change it, or go into story and assumption about it. Because after all, we are looking to live life from fact and truth.

Looking to change things outside of our control only hurts ourselves.

So, I have taken this opportunity to reflect on my life. I am embracing this season of change and I am honoring myself and my needs. The old me who wasn’t living as much in her Adult Chair as she is today would not have such peace within her as she navigates these difficult times.

And honestly, because of all of the work I have done on myself, these “difficult times” don’t really seem so difficult. I have changed and I am so proud of how I can learn to love these changing times instead of fear them.

With change comes new and greater things.

With greater things comes an even greater life.

I cannot wait to see what is to come!

Please let me know how you’re doing. Do not hesitate to reach out if you would like support.

I’m sure you’ve seen this cliche on a Pinterest quote, on a sign in HomeGoods, or on a motivational Instagram post, but this phrase is POWERFUL.

When we think about owning our inner light, we must own it so fiercely that nobody can ever affect it.

What this means is that we have to become so sure of ourselves that we are completely unafraid to show up big in our daily lives.

Gone are the days of changing your outfit for fear of standing out too much from the crowd.

Gone are the days of sitting quietly in the break room at work and taking negative comments from our coworkers.

Gone are the days of allowing our family to speak anything but kindly towards us.

Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle for any reason.

You deserve to shine bright each and every day.

That’s how we live an empowered life!

…and if you need help doing this, you know I’m here to support you!

I’m writing to you today as I reflect on my self-love journey.

As many of you may already know, my engagement to my now husband was a big turning point in my family dynamic. It changed the way we all interacted with one another for many years, and it broke me as it did. This trauma opened my eyes to what anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and depression looked like that I had heard so much about.

This was a big turning point in my life. So big, that it inspired me to go on a mission of healing and transformation so that I could not only survive, but thrive—and now help others do the same.

Through methods from The Adult Chair® model, I learned how to become present with all that exists within myself so that I may become a healthier Adult. I watched how this changed my perspective about what happened with my family, now years later, and I have watched them show up in a new changed way too.

This is what happens when we do the work.

I am now living my life reaping the benefits that a more healed life brings. I am less anxious, intrusive thoughts come and go without me going into story and assumption about them, and I have a renewed sense of life.

Today’s podcast episode sheds light on all of the good times I spent with my family through the years and how recent more positive interactions are starting to outweigh the negative interactions of the past. It is amazing what some reflecting and energetic shifting can do. I am grateful for my family and I to have this experience, though challenging, because it made us ultimately closer as we live healthier together.

The Adult Chair® model is a guide for healthy living and I am eternally grateful for it to have helped me in this way. If you would like to learn more about how The Adult Chair® can impact your life, please do not hesitate to reach out and book a complimentary discovery call!

I am always here to help!

With Love,

If you don’t know your value, how will you be able to stand up for yourself?

When we don’t know what we are protecting, it is unlikely that we will protect whatever it is.

Think about it.

We know a diamond is (often) worth a lot of money. That is because its value and symbolism for love have been established in society across many decades.

How do you think a “rock” got to be worth so much?

Because society made it so, and you can apply this to your own life.

You can claim your worth by learning about the parts that make you who you are. These parts serve a significant purpose in your life, and by slowing down and getting to know them, you can build tremendous self love from within.

And if you need help with this, I am more than willing to be your guide as your Adult Chair® Certified Coach. In working together, I teach you how to love yourself so that you build healthy relationships and become more present in your life. Using methods from The Adult Chair®, I guide you through your own self-love practice by uncovering the deepest parts of your spirit to unleash the life you are meant to live.

I look forward to helping you learn to build love through presence, because you are worth it!

Episode 19 is finally here! I have been thinking about what this episode would be like for a long time because the number 19 is very significant in my life.

January 19, 2015 was when me and my now husband officially got together, and we then proceeded to get engaged on January 19, 2017, and married on January 19, 2019. Why the significance? Well, we have been incorporating loving one another from our love languages since the beginning—and especially on each 19th of the month!

If you are not familiar with the 5 Love Languages, they are:

1️⃣ Words of Affirmation

2️⃣ Physical Touch

3️⃣ Acts of Service

4️⃣ Receiving Gifts

5️⃣ Quality Time

Everyone receives loves through these 5 ways, but one is the most significant to each of us.

For my husband and I, we continue to acknowledge one another through our love language and it has brought us closer, kept the spark alive for almost 6.5 years, and has increased our healthy communication.

I highly encourage you to listen to this episode as I explain how we practice loving one another from our love languages, and tips on how to bring more love overall into your life with your partner or spouse. And if you don’t have a partner or spouse (yet!), I am certain this episode will still be important to listen to as you navigate future relationships from your healthiest version of self (The Adult Chair®!).

On today’s podcast episode, you are going to learn all about my cats Westley and Buttercup! They are the two little loves of my life, and I am so happy to have them as part of my family. Over these past nearly two years that I’ve welcomed them into my family, I have learned so much from them, but also myself.

😻 They have taught me so much about unconditional love.

They still lay on top of me or beside me no matter what I look like, how much I weigh, how I’m feeling, if I am employed or not, if I am productive or not, if I’ve put away laundry, or anything else. They just love me, and I love them back simply by being in presence with one another. It is a love unlike I have ever experienced—even different than romantic love with my husband.

😻 They have taught me so much about trust.

I trust that they will meow when they need something from me, and that I will do my best to know what they need always. I trust that they will be safe from the dangers that sometimes exist in the home (when we open unfinished closets, adjust the window screens, live on multiple floors, etc.). They trust me to not ever harm them while they are sleeping, eating, drinking, or any other vulnerable time. They love being held, and trust that I won’t hurt them while they sleep or rest in my arms.

😻 They have taught me so much about responsibility.

Me and my husband are their primary caretakers, and it is our job exclusively to make sure that their water and food bowls are full, their litter is clean, and that they have plenty of toys to play with and places to lay and relax. If they don’t feel well, it is important for us to know the signs that something isn’t right and to then take appropriate action. We are responsible to take them to the vet for regular checkups, and to make sure that they stay inside to avoid ticks and the like.

It’s safe to say I love these two cuties more than anything and my life is truly better because they are a part of it! I know that my husband and I are closer and happier together as a family than without them. It is so special, and if you have pets of your own, I’m sure you can relate!

Do you ever slow down enough to notice which "wave of life” you are in? I define three distinct waves in today’s podcast episode:

🌊 Stormy Waves - Periods of heightened anxiety, depression, family/professional conflict, etc.

🌊 Big Waves in Between Calm Waters - Some triggering moments, but mostly calm

🌊 Calm Ocean - Enjoying the blissful life of rest and healthy living

When you become aware to which “wave of life” you are in, you are able to have a great amount of gratitude for yourself and all that you have accomplished in your life thus far. It is greatly important for us to be our own biggest cheerleaders when it comes to doing the work on ourselves in order to completely transform.

We start to acknowledge how far we have come in how we best handle the stormy seas that inevitably come up in life. That is not a small feat, and on certainly to be celebrated.

I encourage you to take a look at your own life so that you can see which wave of life you are in, and be proud of yourself!

You deserve to be celebrated! 💜💙

Have you ever thought about what makes a good leader? 💜💙

A good leader is not just someone who manages a team well, or manages a lot of projects or clients well. A good leader is someone who does the inner work on themselves to better be able to empathize with the people they work closest with.

On today’s podcast, I speak with my fellow Adult Chair® Certified Coach and dear friend, Laura of Lead Intact™. We talk extensively about what it means to not only lead with empathy, integrity, presence, and awareness, but how doing the inner work can truly impact and improve your everyday life.

Laura has created the incredible Lead Intact™ Toolbox full of ways to first understand ourselves better, and then be able to focus more of our energy and attention on who we want to be. These are practical tools that you can certainly start to implement today as you learn them from our discussion.

We also talk candidly about our experiences working in the corporate world and what it is like to work on our triggers in a professional setting and beyond. We share what has worked for us, and how these tools can help you learn to truly lead from within.

This is second of many future collaborations with Laura (the first being the TAC® Tsunami Song that you can watch/listen via https://lovewithliana.com/music!) and it was an absolute joy to have her on The Love With Liana™ Podcast! Please enjoy the episode!

How are you doing? I hope you have been okay. I will be honest, the start of the year has been a bit rough for me. There has absolutely been a lot to celebrate and be grateful for, but I have had some low points in my mental health that have required me to rest, and I am doing the best to honor that right now.

Feeling this has gotten me thinking about the many of us who have openly been struggling throughout our lives—and especially during the unprecedented time in the world lately.

So, this podcast episode is titled "A Song For Someone" based on the song by U2 that I sing and play on the ukulele in this episode. It has beautiful lyrics that remind me in even the darkest of times when my mind is telling me not to go on to keep going. It's that light within me, and within all of us, that is bigger than any pain to keep us here.

I hope that this episode provides you comfort if you feel lost, but because I do talk about s*al thoughts, I want to place a trigger warning in case you are not in a place to hear this. I am here to support you, but the last thing I ever want to do is to put you in emotional distress.

This is one of those topics that can never be talked about enough because awareness is key to getting help. That is what has helped me heal and transform, even through are tumultuous times in life. This is what I hope to help you through as an Adult Chair® Certified Coach, and I am offering Discovery Calls to those who are looking for guidance but are not sure where to start.

I love and appreciate you. You are enough simply because you are!

During this unprecedented time in the world, I have seen a lot of conversation around the change in our routines. It has definitely been sad to see our lives change almost completely, but personally for me, I have clung on to certain routines to actually keep me stable during the ever-changing world. 💜💙

Maintaining routines for me gives me structure and a sense of purpose when things feel out of control. I cling to these routines to give me a sense of accomplishment to empower me throughout my day—even if I don’t leave the house or do anything that exciting.

I say that there is power in maintaining routines because they are a great way to build a habit of completing tasks and goals to achieve the life you are meant to live!

So, take a listen to this podcast episode to learn about my personal routines that I (try) to carry out every day though I am gentle with myself even if I don’t feel up to doing them.

I encourage you to find the routines that work for you to build up your own power!

Learning to set boundaries with your blood relatives is really hard.

These are the people you’ve likely spent the most time around for most of your life. They are the most familiar to you, and they seemingly know you the best. They are the people who can love you the most—

—until that love becomes toxic.

Sometimes, in our family systems, we are told to tolerate their toxic behavior “because they are family and family is forever.”

But imagine the same act done by a significant other, boss, or friend. Would that behavior be acceptable? Likely not. So why do we allow family to treat us like this?

Generations of unhealthy communication, abuse, mental disorders, etc. pass on and on. Until one person in the familial chain breaks the cycle to then build upon their own family.

And that person sets boundaries, speaks their truth, and embodies their own power in spite of the family trying to convince them not to.

In this week’s podcast episode, I talk all about my blood family and my chosen family. I share how I’ve grown in myself from setting strict boundaries with my blood family and how I look to shape the family of my own in present day. 💜💙

It certainly wasn’t easy to do this, but it was very important work as I look to build my self-worth and unconditionally love myself. Nothing is getting in the way of that for me—even family.

I encourage you to always put yourself first. 💜💙

When you begin the journey of working on your mental health, it can be a strenuous and confusing process. Thankfully, there are a lot of individuals on social media and in the public eye who are opening up about their mental health struggles, but that can often be overwhelming when you think about what to do on your own journey.

Mental health looks different on everyone, and no two treatments are the same with varying results. The same thing goes for chronic illness. Those who suffer with a chronic illness know how challenging getting a diagnosis is and getting treatment can be. Add mental health struggles and chronic illness together, and…well…life is not easy.

Christine Olivo runs the viral Instagram account @MyIBSLife and she creates memes to cope with her IBS and anxiety. She brings a dose of much needed humor to the gut-health-challenged community (I say that with absolute love as I too suffer!) while openly sharing her daily struggles. I particularly resonate with Christine for her anxiety, IBS-c symptoms, and emetophobia, and she has now become a friend of mine.

On today’s episode of The Love With Liana™ Podcast, I interview Christine on ways she maintains presence through daily anxiety and chronic illness struggles. She shares her coping mechanisms and we talk openly about our own struggles with gut-issues and the support we have or have not received from people in our lives.

I invite you to take a listen to this episode as a reminder that you are not alone in what you feel. Approximately 20% of the US has anxiety, and approximately 50% of the US has chronic illness, but I know it can be hard to remember when still there is a stigma. Please know that there is a community that supports you through this, and that is one that Christine and I very much advocate for in this podcast and in our respective communities.

I send you lots of love today and always!

On this week’s episode of The Love With Liana Podcast, I share ways to practice self-care as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) or an Empath.

I'm sure you can relate to give your energy to others and absorb their pain. In order for you to protect your own energy, it is necessary for you to learn your own wants and needs—then tend to those first. The next step is making these practices a habit to prevent stress and anxiety from building up.

I offer a plethora of examples of what I do to take care of myself (you are welcome to build off of my list or make your own!) on today's episode. I show some items that I use that further my self-care practices that you can view on the video version of this episode.

It seems like a lot, but these are ways I practice self care. These are essential for me, and they are routines I thrive on daily and weekly. I am learning to take care of my Highly Sensitive Self which I used to see as a burden, but now I realize it is the best work of my life because this is the best part of me. 🧜🏻‍♀️💜💙

Let me know how you practice self-care by messaging me on social media @LoveWithLiana. I can't wait to hear from you how these tips help you in your life.

Unconditionally loving yourself means loving your body too 💜💙

I have struggled to unconditionally love my body, because there have been a lot of conditions placed upon me from society, friends, and family that have altered my perception of my body. I’ve been told things like:

👎🏻 “If you can pinch more than an inch, you need to lose weight”

👎🏻 “145 pounds is a good weight for your life. You should stick to that.”

👎🏻 “You gain 10 pounds per inch that you grow.”

👎🏻 “You and your mom look so alike! Except you are heavier than her.”

It’s almost shocking how well I remember these words being spoken to me from people in my life. They have stuck with me and they hurt deeply, and yet, I am building love for myself everyday.

I have created a practice of building love through presence because I have found that that is the the path to unconditional love for yourself. Only by being present can we truly build a great deal of self love—and truly love ourselves without having to meet any conditions.

How you can apply this to loving your body? 🤷🏻‍♀️

1️⃣ Start by being present with your breath and placing your hand over your heart.

2️⃣ Feel grateful for the body that gives home to the life source that is your heart.

3️⃣ Sit in this sacred space and feel your inner light.

4️⃣ Repeat this mantra: I am enough simply because I am.

It is a journey to loving your body unconditionally because you must first break down all of the conditions that have been placed upon you that tell you why your body isn’t enough. But I tell you:

It is because of your body that you have space to live. Love this space that you are given. You only have one.

You are worth it!

On this week’s episode of The Love With Liana Podcast, I talk about abundance, what it means, and how you can manifest more for yourself.

Abundance is what we all work for in this life. Why does it seem like there is never enough of it? There may be physical blocks preventing abundance from flowing in. How to unblock them?

In this podcast, I share three powerful mantras for you to practice so that you can look to manifest your own abundance.

I invite you to feel the power of these mantras as you say them so that you can truly believe you are worthy of abundance. The key is to tap into the emotions of what abundance feels like to manifest abundance in your life. Then, let go and trust that the universe is unfolding abundance right when you are meant to receive it.

All is well in your life. You are worthy of receiving abundance because you are abundant. You are love.

🧜🏻‍♀️💜💙

This is my birthday themed podcast episode! I talk about what age has meant to me and how I look to celebrate life.

As a 26-year-old millennial, I’ve received a lot of comments from my elders such as:

👊🏻 “You’re too young to be getting married!”

👊🏻 “Are you like 16 or something?!”

👊🏻 “How old are you really?”

👊🏻 “You’re just a baby!”

👊🏻 “My daughter is your age.”

👊🏻 “When you have more years on this earth, it teaches you some things.”

And frankly, it’s made me feel really insecure about this one aspect of my life that I cannot control. Last time I checked, I can’t take a pill and turn 30, 40, or 50 to be taken more seriously by my elders, but oh, have I wanted to. I thought that would make those negative comments stop.

But such magic doesn’t exist.

So I chose to relentlessly accept myself exactly as I am, for exactly where I am at life.

It hasn’t been easy, but digging deep into my self-work has helped me learn to celebrate my life and not be so ashamed by it. After all, I have a lot of fabulous things to celebrate…

…and I’m only 26 😉

Take a listen to this podcast episode where I talk about how I celebrate life and how I celebrated my 26th birthday. I got my first Mayofascial Release treatment, got my haircut, got all dressed up, and so much more.

Listen or watch via the link in my bio, on YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts via https://lovewithliana.com/podcast.

I want you to know that I see you for having dealt with negative comments from people older than you about your age. You are not alone, and you are perfect just the way you are. Your life is worth celebrating and you don’t need to change a thing for anyone.

Remember that!

I am Enough simply because I am.

A simple, yet profound statement. But when you really say it to yourself, your whole life can change.

What this means is that there are no conditions you have to meet in order for you to be Enough. You don’t have to have makeup on or look your best, you don’t have to be a certain weight or size, you don’t have to be working 40+ hour weeks, working out every day and eating perfectly each meal, or even keep your home spotless to be Enough.

You don’t have to do anything or be anyone to be Enough, you just are.

Saying this mantra to yourself and knowing it’s truth sets you free. There is a life you are deserving of living, and you are ready to live it when you unlock your Enough-ness. The good news is, it’s already inside you. You just have to clear the idea of who you “should” be, and just be who you are. The rest will unfold as it’s meant to, and it will be beautiful.

Let me know how this goes. I can’t wait to see your light shine.

On this week’s episode of The Love With Liana Podcast, I have on guest Amy Kerr to share her incredible story of how she went from a place of codependency and lack of self-love, to a place of self-love and presence—and now coaching others to do the same. 💜💙

Amy had a less than supportive relationship with her mother growing up, and it conditioned her to seek connection outside of herself—to make up for what was lacking within. This led her to getting into toxic relationships where her role was “the fixer”. This was a vicious cycle for Amy and it tore down her self-worth even further than it was.

How did Amy break free from this cycle?

She built a connection with her Inner Child and began the reparenting process.

Our conversation around Inner Chid work and building self-love is incredibly powerful and moving. To learn more about the specific techniques Amy used and to hear her moving story, please visit https://lovewithliana.com/links or click the link in my bio to listen/watch the episode. I highly recommend you view this on YouTube so that you can see our conversation unfold in a beautiful way as it did for us!

I hope this episode inspires you to break free from the cycle of codependency and build a better life for yourself. Healing is an inside job, and only by working within yourself will you be able to see lasting change.

You are worthy of living an incredible life!

How do you own who you are? First, you need to learn what makes you you.

You are made up of many different parts. Some have formed to give you unique passions, skills, likes, and dislikes, while some have formed to keep you safe over a period of time.

What being safe can look like is staying small. This means not taking chances in professional settings or in relationships, not speaking up about your values, wants and needs, not setting boundaries, or taking care of others before you take care of yourself.

Staying small prevents the gifts of your soul from shining bright. You shy away from these precious abilities because you don’t want to upset anybody or be seen and rejected.

What if you owned all of who you are? What would your life be like? I bet you would be more present and love yourself deeper. I bet you would speak up for yourself because you are connected to your desires. I bet you would have higher self-worth. I bet you would spend your days feeling happier.

You can own who you are and be proud of yourself. You deserve it, because you work so hard every day. Every challenge you have faced has made you stronger, and shaped you to be even greater.

It is time you own who you are! It is time you own your inner light! You are loved!

Building Love Through Presence: the simplest and most profound way I have been able to transform.

I used to live my life never feeling like I was enough. I kept having to try to make myself better than I was by overextending myself in school, work, friendships, and family. I tried so hard to be noticed without even realizing I was doing it.

I learned to ground myself which eased my anxiety and relieved my depression, because I was able to feel into gratitude for my light. This light that connects me and everyone to the universe is bigger than we imagine and stronger than we understand. It allows us to feel a deeper appreciation for who we are—without all of the striving.

This is how I learned to build love through presence, and how I show you to do the same.

Ever since I was a young girl, I have been connected to the ocean, sunsets, nature, music, crystals, animals, and more. I always found myself to be different for feeling pain and love more deeply than those around me. Only later in life would I realize that I am an Empath, and that my sensitivity is one of my greatest strengths.

My passion is to bring love to others through my own lens of how I see the world: bright, vibrant, and full of happiness. I finally get to do this in a big way by becoming an Adult Chair® Certified Coach (currently in training through March 31, 2021).

This podcast is my story. I tell you in a raw and beautiful way who I am and how I got to be who I am today. I also walk you through my journey of finding The Adult Chair® and how it has transformed my life.
