Dawn F. Landry’s experience encompasses over 30 years of business development and marketing with the bulk of her career in Houston’s corporate real estate industry. She has excelled in multiple leadership positions within the region’s largest economic development organization, as well as international commercial construction companies.
In February 2017, Dawn founded Authentizity, LLC. as an independent business growth strategist to assist companies with customized programs designed to advance their leadership proficiencies, team alignment, and outreach effectiveness.
Adding to her list of accomplishments, Dawn is not only an award-winning, respected business professional, but now a best-selling author! She authored ARMORED, in 2020, sharing her unintentional care coach memoir with those who may find themselves in need of the wisdom.
Dawn and her husband, Daran, live in Houston, Texas sharing their home with their third generation of rescued pups. Dawn is a big dreamer with a strong faith in surrendering to God’s Will. She loves to experience new cultures and is an avid appreciator/collector of art.

Brian Haines is a twenty five year veteran of marketing, product management, and strategy of Cloud and desktop products specifically created for the building industry. Brian is currently the Chief Strategy Office (CSO) at FM:Systems where he manages all aspects of industry and product strategy and planning. Brian writes extensively on the topic of emerging workplace technologies and is contributes monthly articles for the Forbes Business Development Council. Brian is a frequent speaker and has presented at events such as Autodesk University, IFMA World Workplace, Tradeline, NFMT, CFTA and the AIA convention. Brian currently serves as co-chair for the National Institute of Building Science (NIBS) COBie Work Group. Brian also is an active board member for the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Information Technology Council.

In fact, 1 in 7 people are considered neurodiverse but fewer than 50% know it. But these individuals can be high energy, out of the box thinkers, excel in a crisis, and be bold problem solvers. Not only is designing to be inclusive the right thing to do, there is a compelling business case for it as well. Join us as we share the various aspects of neurodiversity and explore how to create spaces that are more physically and culturally inclusive for people with a wide spectrum of neurological conditions to allow them to thrive.
To date, HOK has published 5 reports on Neurodiversity and the built environment. Our team has now partnered with Tarkett and Genius Within on the latest research regarding initiative focused on meeting the needs of individuals that are neurodiverse in the built environment.
