In the current state of digital, it's common that brands have an A Dominate Face (attention dominate) on The Brand Triangle. They can garner attention and be the most evangelistic in nature when it comes to content creation and distribution. The issue with brands who are strong in attention is that they can often lack transactional presence which ultimately subtracts from their ability to build authority and mindshare over time.
In today's episode, we talk about two types of brands: Attention dominate brands with an adjacent strength of Behavior (transactional presence) AND attention dominate brands with an adjacent strength of Conscious (building mindshare and authority with an audience beyond attention. With these two types of brands (AB's and AC's) we talk through their strengths, weaknesses, common mistakes, and fruitful opportunities. Enjoy the episode.
In this episode, we begin diving into our brand new business and marketing book: "The Digital Tabernacle - The Ultimate Guide to Positioning, Advertising, and Scaling Christian Organizations in a Digital Age." Marketing and advertising are often looked at from the perspective of a product, service, brand, or vendor TOWARDS an audience or customer/consumer. We observe the journey one will take from initial brand contact all the way to becoming a customer, member, or brand advocate, and we try to align our marketing and communications with those efforts. Very seldom do we look at marketing from what a consumer or customer gives us.
How does a customer pay a brand, an organization, or a company aside from their money? Find out in today's episode.

I hope that this podcast is insightful and revelatory for you, your vision for 2022, and any company, brand, organization, or project that you are a part of. See you in the 2022 Metaverse!
When we experience deficit, challenge, lack, trauma or anything of that nature, we tend to hit cruise control and maintenance mode when things get 10% better. We can not make a better tomorrow by fixing yesterday. We can not live fully today but trumping our former glory.
We don’t need more success stories. We don’t need more “well-positioned” content and “well-crafted” messaging. We need true transformation.
With the level of desire and ambition that we have, there needs to be a level of council and correction that comes with it. Are we resistant to this? If so, why? The things we desire require us to walk in wise council so we can sustain great things, not just start them.
We don’t have opposition we have dysfunction. We don’t have haters we have resentment and hate. Don’t be confused and double minded. Don’t create invisible enemies and invisible wars.
In this new year, you don’t need more effort, you don’t need to try harder — you need to settle your heart and become consistent. Your stance and what you are rooted in matters more than simply plowing ground. Not all soil is good.
Awaken originality. 2021 we are going to stop curating our lives, our decisions, our buying power, our content creation, our life and lifestyle choices, and beyond. Curation is killing creativity in this generation because we lack identity and have rejection rooted in our hearts. No more! There is a fresh wind of creativity coming in 2021.
Here is my prayer for you this morning as a creator, an entrepreneur, or business person. Your healing, your deliverance, and your growth is coming! It’s time to get desperate for it! 🔥🔥
The lifecycle of knowledge is shorter than it ever has been. By the time your “guru’s” information hits your screen, it’s expired and irrelevant. I’d rather be a heaven strategist than a dispensable guru / expert by the worlds standards.
Do not live a life of perfectionism. It will kill everything. Your social marketing, your content, your products, your network, and ultimately your creative ideas. Avoiding criticism to the level of perfectionism is a stagnant way to live life. Do not identify through validation, but walk fully in your purpose.
This coming year is going to be a year of rest, contentment, accuracy and innovation for creators who are aligned with their true identity. Mimics, gimmicks, pride and ego will fall by the wayside as true creators are positioned and walk in heavenly favor. Amen!
They aren’t against you, they are just for themselves. Don’t create unnecessary adversaries just so you have something or someone to conquer. You’re creativity, your business, your family and YOU, need you to be in rest and contentment going into 2021. That’s how you win.
Today we have a conversation about moving in the spirit and becoming the most strategic, aligned, and fulfilled versions of ourselves. We move different. We talk different. We ideate different... when we are in the spirit. Inversely, we run ourselves dry and to death when we operate out of our own strength and understanding.
Growth doesn’t look or feel like we’ve been taught. This is why we have generations of (what could be) phenomenal creators, business people, etc who are trapped in their own dysfunction. Creating barriers and walls to “protect” themselves only to drive their pain and dysfunction deeper than it already is. No more! No more being afraid of growth.
Much of our struggles as creatives and entrepreneurs is getting out of our own way. We mustn’t use the excuse that “this is all I’ve known” and “that’s just how things are.” This stagnant approach will stop all progress in your business and life. If you’ve stopped contending, this episode is for you!
As I spent time with God this morning he began highlighting areas of my life where I relied on my human intellect and others intellect/philosophy as the supreme ruler and navigator of life. As I’ve come in to fresh understanding, I no longer rely on intellect as a creator and entrepreneur because it has a law of diminishing returns. Tune in for this short encouraging word for your week. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You don’t have to be loyal to dysfunction, you don’t have to prove yourself to grow, you don’t need permission to become whole, and when dysfunction pops it’s head up you don’t have to respond.
We often don’t realize how we (creators) get in our own way of progress and forward motion. We pre-qualify our creativity and measure it against worldly relevance. I believe there is a fresh awakening in the hearts of creators around the world to get scrappy, quick, accurate, and pithy with creating. Let’s strap up the boots friends.
I am alive again. And I pray that becomes your portion. God snatched me from darkness and breathed winds of life, vision, and dreams back into my life. Everything will be different from this point forward. I love you guys.
When we come into knowledge, ideas, discoveries, and findings... we often thing “this is fresh, this is new, this is mine.” Think Christopher Columbus, but applied to our daily lives. The reality is, staking claim through awareness biased kills collaboration and progress. And collaboration and progress is how creators move the word forward.
We’ve often put gravity to how our relationships are healthy, unhealthy, dysfunctional, or codependent. We don’t often think of how we rely both on inanimate objects but further more inanimate and hypothetical case scenarios. We spend our time preparing for something we can’t see or touch by projecting our understanding of now.
In this philosophy session, I lay on the floor of my office before the sun rises and have a conversation with you all about finding our rhythm and our sound. Then we end with a closing segment on how those sounds find symphony with other creators.

If you're not struggling with health, finances, or shelter, you have more opportunity to build than any other time in existence. Creators have solutions, ideas, and innovations — there are more gaps and whitespaces than we've ever seen. It is time to create. Especially if you're business minded or have the entrepreneurial spirit.
Creating something is only step one — in a digital world, if you create something and no one sees it, it's like it doesn't exist. You have to break those creations, that content, those solutions, etc., down into consumable native value / content for your audiences.
In this episode, we dive into the concept of providing native value on social media platforms and not always trying to LEVERAGE people into offers. How you position your brand to provide that value through integrated media experiences will determine your relevancy online.

Clout doesn't make you relevant. Plain and simple.
We live in times where platforms are emerging, creators are creating, and things are constantly changing. However, while we are in a disruptive era, human behavior has stayed the same.
Thanks for checking this episode out! See ya next week!
