Ever been afraid to try something new for fear of failure? Yes, me too! Everyone feels fear, from successful sports stars and entrepreneurs, to celebrities and movie stars But those who are successful have learnt that, whilst fear is a very real feeling, it is our brains way of protecting us from the unknown and the scary And if we're able to successfully hack our brain, understand the triggers and then create the right conditions, we are able to feel the fear of failure and still make progress This episode is all about the steps we can take each time we fear failure to re-wire our brain so that we recognise the risks and still take the small steps to success "Failure is not the opposite of success, but part of success"

Have you ever wanted to bring more of yourself to work, but didn't feel comfortable?

Maybe you weren't sure what people would say or what people may think of you

You knew you could be more authentic, you just weren't sure how to navigate the choppy water of perceived perceptions

After blogging about my journey to authenticity (link to article below) I was asked what authenticity actually was and how it could be achieved

So this episode shares my top 3 tips for leading with authenticity and how we can start bringing more of ourselves to the workplace

For I believe to create a workplace which thrives and achieves great results, leaders have an obligation to bring their whole selves to work and create an honest, open and accepting environment for everyone to learn, grow and collaborate effectively

Have you been spinning plates and juggling balls for a while, only to notice it affecting your decision making, your clarity and your energy levels?

Have you focused so much on external priorities (work, family, general life stuff) that prioritising YOURSELF, your health and your mental wellbeing has fallen down the pecking order and you're maybe feeling like life has all of a sudden got more difficult that it used to be ?!

Yep .. me too! I'd go so far as to say we're not alone either, as many of us at times get sucked into priorities that take us away from prioritising ourselves

The irony is, if we don't prioritise ourselves, it affects those parts of our life we previously thought were more important! Bit like on an airplane - we're told to put our oxygen mask on first before helping others, so why is this principle so difficult to maintain in real life ?!

This episode is all about how to STOP, PAUSE AND REFLECT to SPEED UP. This episode shares how I TUNED IN to what was going on for me, how I wanted to FEEL and how I set a course that, over time, bought me a greater sense of clarity and wellbeing, so I could continue to spin and juggle at pace, but with a different perspective on what was important :)

Have you ever felt you couldn't be yourself at work?

It's a shame that we are not taught in Leadership School how to bring our authentic selves to work

Some do, but many of us may not feel comfortable sharing the 'real us', which can mean we spend hours each day pretending to be someone else, thinking we have to 'act professional' to be credible

This episode is about how I learnt many years ago that, no matter how hard we try to hide our real self, our inner awesome always shines through ;)
