These short episodes capture the funny "isms", silly conversations and Jordy's insanely cute three year old voice in a timeless way.
Over the last week or so we've been reading chapters from a tinkerbell book. Tali all of a sudden, tonight, started flipping the pages of a specific chapter and basically regurgitated word for word the entire chapter. And she can't even read. It was really cool. Sometimes your kids really surprise you. Love that.
Its been an exciting 3 weeks for the kids as they watched the eggs incubate.
Last night we started to hear chirping, and this morning the first chik hatched, and its a busy day as more and more are hatching!
This morning in the car the girls were listening to old episodes and inspired to bring it back.
So we're introducing little sis on the mic with some words she says that are super cute like cinnamon and yellow.
Today we open with a joke from Jordy, followed by cute stuff Tali says, and then Tali and I chat about our recent trip to disney world.
Tali was born in covid and really hasn't had a birthday party. She was really looking forward to this day and it was so fun. Simple playground visit with friends and her sister Jordy led the group in some of her favorite songs. What a hit!
After the surprise of her life, Jordy feels a mix of emotions entering her last week of the trip!
This week we're staying on an incredible, working farm in sardinia. Not a hotel, an agriturismo. Jordy discovers the animals on the farm, the natural beauty, and what a blue zone means,
Jordy has lots of ideas. Probably because mom and dad talk about ideas and both started their own businesses, but it also seems to be something innately inside her. Hear her speak about her next big vision.
Today, we learned how to make olive oil the old fashioned way, using stone rocks and wood levers. Jordy loved it and we all had a blast.
Israel has been an incredible stop for us. Jordy is practicing her hebrew, so am I. We saw family, friends and really loved it here. Unfortunately our time in israel is being cut short from the recent terrorism and rockets. We'll come back another time!
We’re two weeks in to our travel adventure. Having a blast. Today we’re in Cairo and Jordy LOVED visiting the pyramids. She learned a ton. Clicked into some brave tunnels! And learned about how they made ancient paper from papyrus.
Jordy is VERY excited about the hotel lounge and the “service” in the plane. Lucky duck!
Lately Tali likes to "read" her own books. This episode is exactly that, Tali reading a curious george board book before nap.
This was really the first episode where Jordy led the way. So cute. We talk about her friend's epic bday party and how little sis feels all the emotions these days.
Tali and I had a few minutes together, and she was telling me to make some calls, and of course, snuggling her snow leopard "stuffy"
Today we bring in special guest...Mommy to walk us through the play by play on Jordy losing her first tooth, and getting a visit from the tooth fairy. I've never seen Jordy so excited!
I always cherish the time home with the kids, doing silly things. Random movie and song lyrics pop into our heads, and some have become staples from rappers delight, from anchorman and more.

Jordy trivia, mummy contest, and black light dance party. What an amazing night. This was really Jordy's first birthday party with friends and cousins. You could see how happy she was. Mommy really crushed it and MC's the whole thing.
Today I was on zoom calls again for work, and I heard the faint sounds of a family fight in the background. Crying. Yelling. Doors slamming. So I needed to speak with Tali, Jordy and Emily to get their perspectives on what happened.
What a day. I got to take Jordy to fenway for her first red sox game. Special moments together.
Jordy is amazing. I'm blown away. She's now in kindergarten and making huge progress on her reading and writing. I flipped on recording as she was reading me a disney book. So proud of her.
All of us were COVID positive this week. So, we're spending extra time together, quarantined, battling through. There are puzzle pieces everywhere, dirty laundry strewn about, food caked to the floor. Absolute squalor. But we're getting better and still having fun.
So proud of Jordy. She's really practicing her letters and numbers and showing progress. Today we had fun typing together for the first time on the computer.
She did it. She removed the training wheels and rode her bike for the first time. It was incredible. Such a proud moment for her, and for me watching her.

On a rainy day on cape cod, we decided to record. It's been way too long. Jordy is now a big sis! She likes to talk about it all.
Maybe we'll make a bond fire. Maybe we'll hit the swing. Who knows. But we're happy to be outside!
Lately, after book time, Jordy likes to talk about her favorite parts of the day. So sweet.
Jordy is starting to recognize and read letters. Not actually reading yet, but she does this thing where she looks through the pages and tells the story the way she sees it. This time, she's doing it for a book about staying calm.
Someimtes you gotta light a candle for bath time. Tonight Jordy and I chat about the movie "Toy story" after we binged all of them over break.
One of my favorite things is talking to Jordy every night before bed. Snuck in a recording on this one, right as we were wrapping up 2 weeks home over vacation.
Jordy was playing with sticky notes in the office, talking my ear off as she drew on them, and added them to the wall.
I think jordy was missing mini on vacation, so this was what she wanted to talk about first thing in the morning.

The excitement is palpable. Jordy is headed to wellfleet for a weeklong vacation in a cottage the size of our car.
