I took a bit of a break from my podcast. I was feeling very burnt out especially where I felt like the femininity platforms were going. But Iām back and I have a good conversation for you! Today we are talking about men. Yes you heard that right men. š but there is a reason that I am talking about it today, and it has to do with how we are more similar than we think. We all have struggles especially when it comes to aging and feeling like we have a place in this world, that we are genuine and that our value has intrinsic value no matter what. I received some feedback on my TikTok and it really made me think and I wanted to make a podcast episode because of it
Every womanās feminine journey is going to be different. Accessing the energy that makes them successful is important and for a long time I feel like I have been lost and swept up with the idea of being a āinfluencerā. I also talk about why I have distanced myself from the feminine movement on YouTube and what my concerns are. And how to get back to being my most genuine self. Hopefully you can learn something from this as well!
I want to talk today about how damaging technology and comparison can be, the chase for happiness and how we actually can find happiness
Why is it so easy to self sabotage ourselves and our success? Why are we afraid of the person weāre going to be when we make it past all of our demons? We explore that today as well as what to do to get over it or get through it! š
Itās my day off and Iām a little under the weather but I just wanted to make a quick podcast episode to address some thing I see going on in our nation: classism. we talk about fighting against xenophobia and racism classism is a little more insidious because we donāt see it all the time. The idea that you are better based on how much money you make or the people you know or where you work can be absolutely devastating. Especially as women we need to fight for each other not with each other š
It seems like womenās bodies and what we do with them are always up for conversation. From pro life to pro choice to people deciding how much or how little we show off, from size to body shaming people always have something to say about our bodies and what we should or should not do with them or even what they think about them. Today Iām going to talk about a personal story of mine and how easy it is for someone else to judge you with devastating results and also we ponder over what we can do in the future to correct this issue. š„This is your trigger warning that we cover sensitive things on this podcast!š„
Thereās something kind of crazy going on lately and a lot of moms and women are speaking up. Medical professionals as well as other magazines are referring to people who are having children as birthers than a mothers and have even gone so far as to say happy birthers day rather than a happy Motherās Day. You already know I had to chip my two cents in even if I donāt have any kids myself š¤£
Finding your place in the world is really difficult especially when the community that you thought had your back is now telling you you donāt belong. What happens when a woman who is plus size or midsize goes down to size and the people who supported her no longer want to give her that sense of community? Plus size and midsize women are tearing each other apart gate keeping the term and what it means to be in the community. As a midsize-er myself (which is apparently up for debate in the community itself) I want to talk about this issue as well as talk about ways that we can improve our body confidence š

Life is tough. We have goals and dreams and ambitions and we fight so hard to make them come true. We manifest and we never give up but sometimes what we ask for comes to us in a strange package. Sometimes our challenges help us look into the deepest parts of ourselves and realize our own worth š
Change. Itās an intense word. We want so badly to be our best selves, our highest selves. We want opportunity and prospects and yet when it comes to us, we balk - we donāt know how to handle it. We are petrified of success, of what will happen when our ācomfortabilityā is challenged. When we FACE and ACKNOWLEDGE our fear though beautiful things can happen š
I am always encouraging women to be their own person have their own interests and be a fully developed career woman before starting a family. And yet we still receive the pressure in 2020 to get married and have a family as if that is all our existence is worth. The struggle is real!

Made us think about where weāre spending our time/energy, the men we are dating, the jobs that we have, our FINANCES and where weāre sinking our energy into.
