In 2014 Liz pursued her passion for creating guilt free treats in her kitchen and started her business Luv Superfoods, a combination of raw vegan sweet treats, and nourishing smoothie’s. Liz thrived along side her business, and filled cafes all over the Newcastle region with her delicious vegan treats. Liz has hung up her bakers hat and turned her focus to motherhood as she welcomed her first son Eli, and then her second son Sunny with partner Daniel in 2019.Liz has a clear focus on health starting from within and in this episode shares her journey through motherhood and wellbeing. I am honoured to be sharing todays episode with Paralympic Gold Medallist Kurt Fearnley. Kurt represented Australia for 18 years in wheelchair racing, he has competed in more then 50 marathons worldwide, and brought home multiple gold medals including both the Paralympics and Commonwealth Games. Kurt spent two weeks in 2009 crawling Papua New Guinea’s Kokoda Track raising awareness & funding for mens health charities Movember & Beyond Blue. Kurt is a passionate disability advocate and devotes himself to a number of national and Hunter-based charitable initiatives. In 2019 Kurt was named NSW Australian of the year.
