“No matter how much falls on us, we keep plowing ahead. That's the only way to keep the roads clear.”
― Greg Kincaid
Having a conversation with Coach Carlos a.k.a "Babalos" and getting to know him more outside the realm of fitness is been an eyeopening and a unique experience. From him being a professor to his knowledge in psychology. We sat down and spoke about the huge changes that are going on in 2020 and more. By the end I was shocked in how much we had in common in which increased my respect for Carlos. Hope you enjoy the podcast as I did recording it.
“Being relentless means demanding more of yourself than anyone else could ever demand of you, knowing that every time you stop, you can still do more. You must do more.”
― Tim S. Grover, Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable
First time guest in A Lion's Pride Podcast, had a sit down and listen to Coach Anthony Crouchelli talk about his journey and how he saw the changes with COVED-19, we talk our relations with fitness and really get to know him, his brand, his purpose. Come to realize we have much in common that I expected specially on how we direct ourselves, its amazing what you can learn from someone by listening on their story. Hope you enjoy it as I did.
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
― Nelson Mandela
Taking a hiatus from the podcast because of Coved-19 was hard as I had to prioritize my own routine and responsibilities, but so many things has happened since I decided to make a comeback. Did not expect to re start my series with such a powerful one (2 hour.) but it happened and I want you guys to listen to it. The purpose was a personal one as I was conflicted and lost of words with the gruesome incident that happened to George Floyd, watching a man beg for his life while being hold by a knee on the neck was and still is hard to watch. As I use my platform to motivate others I needed to find the proper words send a message of what I felt, but instead I decided to listen and what better way to listen to my friends that were past guests here and what I have learned from them has brought us closer but also they helped me clear my words and feelings on this event and cause. I hope you learn and get the same feeling as I educated my mindset on this. Enjoy it and lets start changing the world
First time sitting down with one of my oldest clients. We talk about his own transition from being a coach to what he does now. What inspired him to change careers to helping him grow his own podcast in which I spy me to have my own. So seat back and enjoy the episode.
“Growth” the process of increasing in amount, value, or importance. From Coach to owner, had a sit down with my current boss about his journey.... let’s just say it’s a wild ride.
Finally sitting down for a conversation with my workout partner Coach Melissa! Having her talk about some of her experiences of becoming a well known coach is something that I been wanting to ask her. We talk about the lifestyle of a coach and our experiences with the evolution of fitness and much more, I really hope you like it enjoy.
“Committed” Feeling dedication and loyalty to a cause, activity, or job; wholeheartedly dedicated. Having a mindset of learning is hard specially at a younger age, because when we are young we think we are on top of the world or we know everything, not with Ben having a humble mentality, willing to learn as much as possible and ask unlimited questions is what makes him unique. Find out how he does it and what he is trying to achieve as I sit with him and get to learn from a person who is so young and yet dedicated to learning from us.
Curiosity, a strong desire to know or learn something. In today’s episode I get to sit down with my friend/client and talk about her road to success while being curious on what her future holds. But as we also talk about it we get sidetracked with so many things that happened over the past few days with the loss of “Kobe &GiGi” and many more things. Sometimes you don’t need a plan to talk what’s in your heart, just a mic and a voice.
Authenticity: Representing one's true nature or beliefs. When I met Joe our gesture was hi and have a nice day. We were both on a mission to create our own legacy, fast forward couple years from then and here we are. An owner and father he has been working hard, as we sit down I get to finally say more than just hi to him instead I say congratulations and ask him how he did it...

“Ignorance” can mean a negative word for many, but for Coach Blake it goes beyond that, increasing his skill of knowledge and surpassing his own doubters he is one of a kind. In this episode you get to learn more about Coach Blake and his purpose here.
It requires thinking when you have done many things in life that was made without thinking. In this episode we learn from coach Elvin a person I look up to in terms of life stories and experience, find out with me his story of how thought was the the word that got him where he is now.
Sometimes we make things harder for ourselves when the best route is to just be simple. In this episode Bryan takes us to a journey of applying lifestyle with simplicity. From training to eating to living a simple life, take a journey and learn something from a simple mind.
In my second phone interview, I get to chat with one of the first people I met before I started to take my career to another level. Humble and calm with a sense of athletic mindset Jorgio is taking his acting career and fitness Journey to another level.
There is a point in life that we make decisions for our future based on the situation that is at hands, it is our responsibility to recoil and recover fast in order to re focus in our future mission. Having my first female guest Michele in the show, her story will tell you that life is not what you expect or what you make of it. But it also shows you the possibility to stand your ground and keep moving forward.
We all have that something that allowed us to get away from reality as kids, whether it was playing with friends or family to spending time in front of the tv or video games. In this episode My guest Angel talks about his past on how he changed from being a video game kid to uniting that and fitness to create something unique.
In this episode I have the honor to have my best friend Eric, we go over our journey of being a coach, being a business partner, how we met, I get to ask him questions that I have never asked and to struggles we gone through that tested our friendship to other levels.
